Romantic Restaurant. Certainly pricey but also upscale. Employees are sweet. Love the fire place! Foie gras was good .
Great food & service. Was definitely an enjoyable night.
Very nice ambiance. Had a Valentine's day reservation and the food was very good. Staff was attentive and everything was very clean.
The calamari salad was amazing! The shrimp ravioli was divine! Great date spot.
Excellent Food & Excellent Service Be careful exiting onto Montauk Highway it can be a little challenging as motorists tend to speed around the bend for some reason
This is far and away best restaurant I have been to in the Hamptons. Amazing food, truly great service. Very nice atmosphere. Not to be missed.
Wow, found by accident when looking for a romantic place to have a nice dinner with my wife on or anniversary. Food was great, service was wonderful.
Excellent food - grilled octopus, crab meat appetizers. And seafood spaghetti and soft shell crab were outstanding.
Exceptional in everyway! Sommelier was excellent! Staff was superb! Food was perfectly cooked! Excellent experience! Will be back!
Stone Creek catered our wedding at Wolffer Estate Vineyard this September. We took a trip to Stone Creek Inn in Quogue on our own time and the food was delicious, so we chose to go with them for our catering! Our cocktail hour had the most amazing mouth watering bites. We had mini lobster rolls, fig & endive blue cheese bites, risotto balls, tuna tartar in a mini cone, we even had mini taco/ margarita combos, etc. The appetizer we chose was Burrata with the freshest tomatoes and cheese I have ever had. For mid course we had the truffle ravioli and they were the biggest hit! Our guests couldn't stop talking about them. My Maid of Honor stole her husbands plate while he was in the bathroom. For th main course we chose an option of Filet Mignon or Halibut. Everything was absolutely to die for delicious. Which I can say is usually rare at weddings. Our guests left so full! They had vegetarian/ vegan options that wowed our guests as well. Thank you so much Stone Creek Inn!
History meets chic! Romantic ... setting but still good for groups. Seasonal menu paired with wine cocktails and par excellence service. This is a go to place when you want to be cared for ....
Tuna tartare appetizer was good. Seafood spaghetti and the lamb were both spectacular entrees. Beautiful interior - I'd recommend going with the indoor dining option, as the outdoor vibe is much more casual.
The atmosphere is nice. Our waitress was very attentive ,knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. Food is tasteful and the portions are not very big which helps you not to get very full and heavy and sluggish.😀 I totally recommend it.
Consistent, luxurious, cozy spot....in fact the ONLY place to go Dec-March when all the seasonal spots shut down for the winter. There is a fire roaring in the fireplace, the bar is buzzing, and their restaurant week menus are a steal. The service is second to none and the food they deliver is a match.
I went to Stone Creek for my aniversary everything was spectacular from the arrival to the restaurant as the and service was fantastic I recomemend it again and again I never do reviews but this restaurant left me impresedded.
Wow wow wow holy s....t this food is 5 star 1 000 pct. If you are within 20 miles of this place it is an absolute must upscale on steroids especially concerning this food plus they have deserts that are addicting after you eat here just drop the mic because it's Nirvana👍👍👍👍👍
Fabulous dinner enjoyed a three course meal. My wife and I shared appetizers - oysters and foie gras. The oysters were the last six (sold out) Peconic Gold from Montauk some of the best oysters I ever had! The foie gras was served with little brioche and apple chutney and was fab! Main course was Halibut served topped with thin cucumber slices and on top of a bed of green beans and asparagus. A wonderful dish. Service was great which started at the bar with a glass or Cabernet served by Phil the bartender. Definitely plan to go back after I save a few $ ;).
Such a great meal from start to finish Had Freinds there for there first time.. They loved the food, ambiance and service.. The only small complaint was the Gnocchi with Truffles..A bit overcooked and Shaved Truffles a bit too much for the dish Otherwise a 10
Stone Creek is the finest haute cuisine in the entire area. Everything is superb and always seasonal or inventive twist like the corn creme brulee which is out of this world. The sushi tuna over crispy rice appetizer is a must have , as is the calamari salad with the most delightful lime and ginger dressing.last night they had a mahi mahi ceviche which was wonderful and a light and.delicious combination of flavors in the watermelon peach, cherry tomatoes with feta cheese salad. No one can top their rack of lamb and, the black pasta dish with the shrimp, lobster, calamari and shrimp and the citrus butter sauce are standards therr which never disappoint.
Best restaurant in the Hamptons and has been for a long time. I’m hard pressed to find a more consistent high quality dining experience on Long Island. This place never disappoints.
The Food is Phenomenal! The lamb chops are the best I’ve ever had! Service is great! Place is a fine Dining Experience!!! Thank You!
STONE CREEK is a long-standing upscale tradition with a discerning crowd of loyal Hamptonites. It is 5-Star from the Valet Parking to the Reception Staff to the Wait Staff to the Bar Service and Wine selection, and to the reliable and consistent quality of the menu and food. A Must For Upscale Foodies!
We love Stone Creek Inn. Always delicious food, friendly and efficient service and old time Hamptons atmosphere. I'd recommend it without reservations (no pun intended).
A truly stellar meal. Great ambiance. I love how their outdoor seating worked and how they kept food warm while it was being served.
One of best East End restaurants on L.I. Five star service & great menu make for a wonderful experience. Linger & enjoy the atmosphere with after dinner drinks & desert.
Our favorite restaurant on Long Island. All food and service is always top notch!
Fantastic food, service and decor. So rarely does a restaurant do everything so perfectly. Go out of your way to get here the next time you're in the hamptons. Will not disappoint.
The good & service couldn't be better, great atmosphere, busy although quite. We're a group of 12 & had aNig round table was perfect!! We'll be back although it's an hour away
We had the pleasure of dining at Stone Creek Inn and it was truly exceptional. The culinary offerings were unparalleled, accompanied by an inviting and intimate atmosphere! The staff displayed remarkable professionalism and hospitality, ensuring a high end dining experience that will leave a lasting impression!
SUPERB in every way. We have been to the Stone Creek Inn many times over the years and it never disappoints. In fact, it has only gotten better. The service is friendly and professional, the food is exceptional and the atmosphere is lovely. Overall, the quality is what one might expect in a top Michelin-star restaurant. In my opinion, it is easily the best restaurant in eastern Long Island.
Nothing less than a five star establishment in my opinion. We have eaten here many times over the past 20 years. Always my first choice for a special occasion, a get together with friends or a romantic dinner for two. A fireplace in the bar area is always welcome on a chilly night when meeting for cocktails. Yes the dining room is lovely, the menu offerings are both varied and delicious and the staff is attentive. I also think it important to mention that the owners are local and invested in the community. As part of a fundraising event for the EQ Historical Society many years ago I helped to organize a house tour and Stone Creek offered a wonderful luncheon for ticket holders as an option at a reasonable price. Needless to say, it was a giant success! They also offer prix fixe menus and participate in Restaurant Week, which is an opportune time to visit the restaurant.
Excellent. Wonderful atmosphere & food. Potato gnocchi was one of the best I've ever had. Light and airy and pan seared. Fabulous. All courses and cocktails were great! Beautifully set up outdoor dining, though we ate inside tonight. Highly recommend!
What an amazing dinner we had at this restaurant. We started off with a charcuterie board which had several different cuts of Italian cured meats. The selection was very good. For our entrees I had the grilled veal chop and my girlfriend had the duck breast. Both entrees were cooked perfectly.
We ordered Thanksgiving dinner for 8 people. Everything from the packaging to the heating directions was impeccable. Food was amazing, probably the best turkey and sweet potatoes we have ever eaten! With Stone Creek, you get what you pay for. A big 'Thank you" to all the kitchen staff for making our Thanksgiving meal perfect!
Beautiful restaurant! Fine dining right here in Quogue. Have never had a complaint with any menu item. Excellent cocktail selection. The presentation of each course is attractive and thoughtfully prepared. Most menu items are locally sourced and at their peak. Ask for a seat in the front room as the main room can get a bit loud and the tables are a bit close.

Excellent French cuisine. Service was professional and timely. We had sea scallops which were cooked perfectly. Nice classic ambience without being stuffy. Definitely worth a visit. We are coming back soon.
Went to Stone Creek Inn for dinner last night for the first time and it was excellent! The restaurant is beautiful, the food was incredible, and the service staff was very attentive without being overbearing.
Stone Creek has been the best restaurant in the Hamptons for the last 20 years, and yes, I can say that has not changed. Nothing comes close. From the execution of the plates to the quality of the food and service, the only way to describe the dining experience is “perfect”. I cannot wait to return. Merci.
This restauant never disappoints. Superb service, beautiful setting and delious food! We made a special trip during our stay on Long Island to dine here. They have expanded their capacity by adding a tent for outdoor dining. It's inpressive. Reservations recommended.
There simply is no restaurant on the east end with a more cohesive sense of service. The food is nigh impeccable. While there aren't many risks taken by the chef the food is invariably executed with a deft touch and a sense of place. This place exemplifies the fine appreciation of cuisine other places on the east end can only aspire to. Kudos...every time...kudos.
Fabulous dining experience. We were a party of six and not one of us was disappointed. The Duck Meatballs were incredible and my Irish Organic Salmon (off reasonably priced prix fixe) was sensational. Couldn't decide which was best dessert, the Banana Sundae or the Caramel & Fleur de Sel ice cream, both delicious. The hostess/waitstaff were very gracious and attentive. Very friendly, GREAT vibe. Will be back!
Been here many times. The food is always well seasoned and cooked with attention to detail. Definitely a stand out in the crowded field of fine dining hamptons restaurants.
Great friendly service, with food served hot. The taste was delicious. Try it. .
We’re doing a small stay action in place of honeymoon and this has been on the list for so long. Did not disappoint and we love the vibes here. Charming and rustic. Good variety of menu items, drinks. Love it and we recommend to everyone!
Food was delicious 10/10. Bussers were young but very well trained. Staff was very attentive and met all of our needs. Highly recommend great French cuisine.
This restaurant is amazing!! I rarely write reviews but I had to for Stone Creek Inn because the food is so good and the staff is so friendly. My favorite dish is their tiny cheese ravioli, but the tuna crispy rice is a close second. 100% do not miss out.
This is a review for a small dinner I had catered by Stone Creek Inn. I can’t say enough how perfect our experience was! Kory managed our reservation flawlessly and Chef Zuzi’s food was amazing! The staff has impeccable timing and the service was seamless. I highly, highly recommend them! And for sure, the restaurant is a truly wonderful dining experience as well!
Cocktails were excellent, tuna tartare & fluke ceviche also excellent! Soft shell crab: superb!
Had an incredible anniversary meal. The food was amazing and the options quite interesting (the duck meatballs were incredible). Service was good, though the food took a while (the results were worth the wait). And it was cute that they out a candle in the dessert in response to my note in my booking about it being our anniversary. Would definitelt recommend and return.
great spot. interesting food menu that is changing all the time. Super friendly and attentive service. Impressive wine list.
1st time after hearing such rave reviews and it didn't disappoint. I went there for my 51st with friends their surprise to me. Food was incredibly delicious and the staff were amazing. I don't drink anymore but definitely would have gotten a bottle of wine from a great selection if I still did.
Stone Creek Inn 10/10 I had the roasted chicken with butternut squash puree mushrooms & cauliflower. Anthony had the Filet Mignon with black truffle potatoes & peppercorn sauce. So amazing ! Dessert was the campfire & Tiramisu Martini! Everything was incredible. Service was amazing, everyone was so nice & attentive, highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful experience at Stone Creek Inn. The food was absolutely outstanding; beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The service was attentive without ever feeling rushed, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance of cozy, warm, and upscale. Definitely a place where you want to dress nicely. Even in the off-season, the restaurant was pleasantly full with many couples and families celebrating special occasions. The winter menu was fantastic, and the valet parking added a nice touch of convenience. An expensive spot, but absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
The absolute best!! We missed our favorite place so much for the 4 yrs we were in Fla. So glad to be back and at our favorite table! Amazing as always!
One of Long island's top top premier French restaurants been going there for years almost every summer and never disappoints. All meals are superbly prepared, presented and taste awesome
This upscale restaurant served up some extremely tasty food. I had their Filet Mignon with black truffle mashed potatoes (so much truffle in there) and I was very impressed. The steak was cooked perfectly and came with a super-tasty sauce. Cleaned my plate. I'd say the prices are fair for the quality, perfect for a special occasion.
This is our second time here and it was just as good as the first. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is as you would expect from a high end restaurant. It's a bit pricey but that was expected and it was well worth it. The service was very friendly and more knowledgeable than expected when asked about the different menu items. As a little extra, they do have valet parking and a coat check for convenience. There's no doubt we'll be going back again. Oh yeah.. the Campfire Delight dessert is an absolute must!
Must go restaurant in The Hamptons area and one of the best ones you will find. I have been here with my husband a couple of times and it is still a pleasure to keep coming back. The servers/waitress are always on point and well spoken as well as attentive and friendly; same for their younger workers (the ones who serve you water and pick up your plates), extremely attentive and amazingly trained for their position. Other restaurants from the area should be learning from Stone Creek Inn, so cheers on such an amazing job! The food is absolutely delicious, meats are always soft and tearing apart in your mouth and vegetables finely cooked. Presentation is on point and the dishes come very fast, which we all love when that happens. This place is perfect for a couples dinner, special celebration or just to get together with friends. Calm and pretty quiet place, so I will not recommend brining babies, toddlers or kids. Valet service is always very fast even if you see a waiting line.
Celebrated a friend’s birthday here and we all met at the bar to have drinks first. Bartender made a mean Cosmo and the place had a good vibe. It was a Friday night, so everyone was in a good mood. We were seated for dinner pretty quick and I ordered the steak depicted below. The food was delicious, I had shared an appetizer with my boyfriend, and we had some dessert with strawberries in it, and it was delicious. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of those two items but at least I captured the main course. Would definitely come back and highly recommend!
Marvelous food and atmosphere, definitely one of the very few true 5-star dining experiences in the area. Although listed as a French restaurant by "G" it's really not, the menu is an assorted American with everything from lobster to pasta with osso-bucca ragu to filet mignon. Each dish is carefully thought out and made to order, and beautifully presented and served by an abundance of attentive staff. There are daily specials which include things like clams casino or the fish of the day. There is also a full array of cocktails and wine to compliment any of your meal choices, and valet parking caps the experience as luxurious. Highly recommended, you will love it. (Dining hack: the dessert menu includes assorted homemade cookies; enjoy something else at the table and get the cookies to-go for the next day!)
Amazing food and excellent service in an intimate setting; the seafood salad was delicate and light but also incredibly filling. High quality fish poached perfectly and paired with just the right amount of lemon and caviar. The star of the show, however, was the roasted venison with spinach, chestnut, and spatzel; venison was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was tender and flavorful. If you're looking for fine French inspired cuisine on Long Island, Stone Creek Inn is not to be missed. The staff was also very friendly and attentive to our needs. Five stars for this wonderful experience.
Definitely a cut above the other restaurants in the area. Friendly service, a nice bar and tasty, if not a little pricey, entrees. A nice dining experience.
The food is good but not worth the price of New year's Eve dinner. Less noisy than in the past, perhaps because there were empty tables
Great overall place. Service is excellent. Food is above average but not breathtaking.
Highly recommend this restaurant top-drawer first class the food is excellent the service is fantastic. Make sure you make a reservation
A solid but concervative menu. The cassoulet is really good. This is a good place, but perhaps a tiny bit boring.
We sat under a big tent...service and food were great. Heat lamps not available on our side so bring warm jackets.
Excellent food and top quality staff. The tent outside gives plenty of room. At the price, 5 stars is a out of reach, but I would certainly recommend it.
I liked the place and the food. I believe service should be better for the price.i asked for bread two times before getting some. At the end of the meal i asked for two cokes that never came. Not acceptable for a restaurant with those prices.
Nice ambiance, friendly atmosphere. Two dining rooms, one less formal and one more formal, so a nice choice. Food was very good. Prices were a bit high for the winter, but overall good quality and good service.
Style and great food sums it all up. Listen to the specials carefully so you don’t miss out. All is fresh and get ready for sensory overload. Cozy all seasons. Feels like a private country club.
Service was OK , when you have to ask for things, at these price points, we'll... the food was really good , the portions healthy.the wine list was pricey, the selection ok. G Allen.
Much of the menu tends to lean Italian. Good food. Okay service. I was a little put off by the cheap tables outside. They are not made for dining and you hit your knees on the bar. Not really great when you’re paying that much for dinner.
There was a bug in our burratta with ham, in the arugula. They provided a new dish, but never comped the app. Not a problem, just very unusual for such a restaurant.
We have been going to Stone Creek for more than ten years, a few times a year. Our experience has been great -- until now. Yes my wife's Kir Royale was perfect, and yes, my sidecar was crafted as I requested. Yes, the tuna tartare appetizer was wonderful, consistent as usual, and yes, the arugula, beet and goat cheese salad was very good with a salad dressing that was pure art. From there it was similar to a downhill ski race. My wife had the scallops and I had the veal chop. Her dish, which could have been bright and light was way over done with an abundance of cherry tomatoes, butter and overcooked farro that made the dish unnecessarily acidic, heavy, and gluey, the way an amateur would make it, not a chef. My veal chop, priced at $63.00, was a single rib unevenly butchered in a wedge shape (not the traditional double rib and cut to an even thickness), decreasing the volume of the cut considerably and making it impossible to cook at a consistent temperature. The result was that the texture of the veal was disappointing and chewy. This was not executed to the Stone Creek standard at all. All of this left us with the question, what the heck is going on in the kitchen and who is managing the cooks who provided this poor performance? The beignets for dessert helped to sweeten our experience, but we still left feeling sad for this Hampton Bays institution. Will we return? You do not dispense with an old friend if he forgets to call you on your birthday. We will be back, and we will not order the scallops or the veal.
Very poor service - we waited 20 minutes to have our order taken and then a full hour before our food arrived. We were celebrating two birthdays and decided to get dessert elsewhere after the poor experience.
Overrated. We went during restaurant week and I wasn't impressed at all. I wouldn't go back, so many other great restaurants in the area, skip this place.
After notifying my table that the broccoli rabe wasn’t available, my server Elizabeth told me sautéed spinach was available. We received 75% celery stems and 25% mixed greens. Minor detail but this place is usually perfect. Regular customers (1x/mo) please make this right.
Terrible service. Took nearly 40 minutes to get food order. Bread that was brought out was rock hard. Coffees were cold and the meet and fish were over cooked. When we asked server about the food - replied that it was going to be a while. I’m sorry but not service accustomed to - particularly for the price. Very disappointed.
I called the restaurant to give them a heads up that we were changing from a party of 6 to 4 people for 530pm. she tells me she needs to change our reservation to 515. I ask why she tells me its a different table. I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR 15 YEARS. I have never heard of such a thing. 30 years I have been in the restaurant business and cant believe my ears. I live in the area and I will make sure I tell everyone not to go there. So sad. Thought we were doing a good thing.really 15 minutes wouldnt kill you. Especially when people work.
I took my Fiance here for her birthday last week. We walked in and were not welcomed very nicely, our server was extremely rude and kept rolling her eyes at us. She did not have a name tag and did not introduce herself. She hardly checked on us, did not refill our waters even once, did not make any eye contact, rushed the check and brought us cold food and desert. I also informed her I had a peanut allergy and she did not seem to take it seriously, however I couldn’t help but overhear that a woman sitting at the table across from us also had a peanut allergy and I heard her say “let me tell the chef” she didn’t say that to me. I was also very sick in the middle of the night after eating dinner. Coincidence? You tell me. Will never go back and would not recommend to anyone I care about. She absolutely ruined the night for us.
Not good. There are far better restaurants in the area (where the managers have better attitudes). The specials are not special; they are lackluster as well as overcooked. The manager I encountered was rock salt coarse..... much like the oversalted food that I received. This place needs to lay off the salt and rely on flavoring food over oversalting and the managers need to work on tone and mannerism. The place is stuffy and pretentious. I won't ever eat here again and wouldn't even contemplate take out.
A waitress was talking with diners at a table just behind us. She stood there for 20 minutes taking loud. We finally signaled to another waitress to change our table. This is an exceptionally good restaurant and atmosphere is normally very pleasant. Not sure why this situation was allowed to happen in the main dining room. We went for an anniversary dinner for 2 which was definitely negatively interrupted by poor judgement of wait staff.
Customers do not come first in this restaurant. It took me several months to write this review, I generally do not like to write negative reviews. However, I had an experience with Stone Creek Inn in that I have not experienced in many years of eating at all levels of restaurants. My wife and I live in Hampton bays and eat out 6 nights a week. Here is our story: Approximately 2 months ago, my wife made a reservation at Stone Creek Inn. The hostess called back and told us that they are cancelling the reservation, there is a note in our file and the owners are not inviting us back to eat there. Wow. Thinking back… I remembered a very bad experience with service in August 2022. We had a waiter who was so rude that night, We were eating outside in their tent, and he irritated me so much that I went into the restaurant to the host desk and took my receipt and wrote my cell number and asked that the owner call me about my experience. Of course, that never happened. Background information- we have been frequenting this restaurant for 7 years, and probably have been to this restaurant more than 30 times. Is there how you treat a customer? How can one frequent a restaurant where the owner does not care at all about their customers. Good luck to them. I do not recommend supporting an establishment that is so independent that they do not care to find out about a customer’s experience.
