Hoi Choi

We visited this Asian restaurant for our anniversary and had a great experience. I tried the Beef Ramen with extra-spicy, a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, full of flavor. My wife had the Jalfrezi Lamb, which was also super tasty. The staff even went the extra mile by surprising us with a complimentary glass of rosé wine to celebrate our special day. Highly recommended! 🌟

The food was amazing. We tried multiple dishes and each was delicious. It came out fast and warm. The salt and pepper chips were amazing and I highly recommend them. We had issues with the tablet and couldn’t get the attention of the staff to help us so we messed around and got it working. Overall an amazing evening with great food.

First time visiting Hoi Choi this evening for my birthday and we were very well looked after. Lovely, friendly staff who were very accommodating particularly Nista and Ali who were looking after our table ! We ate from the ‘all you can eat’ menu and the food was fantastic, very well prepared and lots to chose from, our particular favourite was the Sriracha chicken wings and the spicy honey chicken but the entire menu was delicious! We can’t wait to re-visit Hoi Choi 😋 strongly recommend and great value for money !

Katsu sauce was amazing! Went for Saturday lunch time, the atmosphere was very relaxed and casual. Service was great, friendly staff and quick service. We could order 3 dishes each per 15minutes. The menu had a good variety and everything we had was delicious.

Lovely food all served warm, staff very friendly and attentive. Lots of options to choose from on the all you can eat. We will definitely be back.

We had a great meal at Hoi Choi today! Anna was a very friendly and welcoming server and was very attentive. The food was excellent! Such great choice and all tasted so good. We would definitely recommend coming here and we will certainly be back in the future.

The food is amazing here, lots of very tasty dishes to choose from. You order from a tablet, can order every 15 minutes I believe. I recommend the chicken gyozas, salt and pepper prawns and the lamb jalfrezi but all the food is nice. Food comes out quickly and the staff are friendly. Only thing I disagree with is they add an automatic service charge onto the bill, I think it would be best if they let the customer decide whether they would like to tip or not but that’s just my personal opinion. Would definitely come here again though.

Working in Doncaster and came across this restaurant. Realised they offer a buffet type service as well as a la carte. Amazing experience from beginning to end. We were served by samita and shykees and they were amazing. We chose not to have the tablets and they served us and really made rapport. Absolutely recommend the concept. Customer service is above and beyond and the variety of food is great

All you can eat but you have to order food on a tablet. You can order up to 3 plates for each person every 15 minutes. Each plate is a tapas sized portion which I really liked as you can eat quite a few dishes from the menu. The food was quality and presented really well. The service was great too. The only thing I would complain about is the price of beer and cider. 500ml bottle of cider was £7.45. Beer was about the same. But I went for the food, not the alcohol. I would love to come back again.

The food here is delicious, there is a large variety to choose from and having the all you can eat option meant we were able to try anything we wanted from the menu. All the staff we encountered were amazing and very helpful and patient when explaining everything, making our experience easy and memorable. The drinks here are also very good quality - every single one we had was tasty.

What an epic restaurant! Every dish is explosion of flavour! Customer service is just absolutely amazing! Loved it and will be back again soon.

We had an amazing valentines meal, gorgeous decor and food. All so fresh and tasty. Ordering on the tablets is so much easier as you can go at your own pace. Ali was very attentive and helpful his suggestions on what to get and very friendly. Will be returning again!

We ordered multiple dishes and every single thing was cooked perfectly. All the spices were balanced. I don’t usually leave a review but this place is a gem. Absolutely worth a try. Prices are slightly on the high side but don’t let that put you off. Once again food is excellent and they gave us free dessert.

One of the hidden gems of Doncaster, providing a great atmosphere and delicious food. Offering an all you can eat order menu or an A La Carte we ordered a selection of small plates from the latter. Enjoying the Lamb Chops and Tandoor chicken wings which had a nice spice penetrating the tender meat, and a lovely crunchy tempura prawn. But the stand out dish of the night was the Mongolian Mussles! Big juicy mussels in a creamy buttery sauce to die for. If you visit this place make sure you try out this dish! Fantastic and friendly staff! A*

I can’t even begin to explain how wonderful and amazing the place was. The staff were beautiful and welcoming and even came with a cake for my sister for her birthday (and we didn’t even ask!) 10/10 The food, the scenery, the staff and manager —PERFECT.

Amazing tapas style but pan aian cuisine. 3 dishes per head per 15 minute interval. All cooked fresh to order. Happy friendly staff took care of us (5 blokes on a pre wedding night out) very well even gave us a wedding shot on the house. Well worth a visit! 5*****

Amazing place, all food was fresh and beautiful. Only Chinese ribs wasn't our thing. This please is not the cheapest one but worth to visit sometimes. 10% service was added to our bill. Nice lager and good deal with cocktails, if you order one then another is for free. I can recommend this restaurant.

Hoi Choi is a fantastic place! We are holidaying from Australia and came here for dinner and it was such a great experience! We had the all you can eat menu, but it's not a buffet, you order 4 dishes each, then 3, and then 2 for as many times as you like. It's great because the dishes are small enough to give you a taste of many different things, which is a lot of fun. All the food was delicious, and they had two for one cocktails and a great selection to choose from. We also ordered the dessert bao bun which I've never seen before, and it was excellent. The service is also great, we had Saurav and we were so well looked after, thanks Saurav!! If you are in Doncaster you really need to stop in, it's such a great place!

Cool place with great variety of different Asian foods. We had the all you can eat option at lunch and it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They give you an iPad so that you can order the food yourself when you’re ready. Choose 3 dishes each on the first round, then 2 on each round after until your full in the time limit (1.5 hours for parties of 2-3) which was plenty of time the try a lot of the menu. Food was fresh and very tasteful. Selection of 4 condiments on the table if you want to add to them. Huge drinks selection and 2-4-1 cocktails too. Beautifully decorated and good size tables to fit all the food on and not be cramped like in some places. Definitely recommend and would go back again. Great find in Doncaster.

Amazing food. I had the all you can eat and all the food came out fresh, hot and flavoursome. The service was great and the ordering process was explained well to us. The deep fried bao bun was the perfect desert to end the meal.

An amazing time at Hoi Choi! The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are all so warm and sweet. The food is very delicious, and there is really a great variety!! We had all you can eat and it’s very simple- all done on an iPad! Very convenient~

Ali welcomes us very warmly as soon as we walked in with his big smile. As we sat to our table Shykee explained everything very simply and was very helpful. The mocktails and cocktails were exceptional, made by manu herself. The food was delicious and served in a very fast pace. Would 10000% reccomend, will be coming back here again.

The service here is unmatched, as well as the incredible food. This is now the second time I have visited, and it will most definitely not be the last. An incredible set of staff and chefs, we will definitely be returning!

Amazing food, so much choice and variety! Quick service and lovely atmosphere. The restaurant had a brilliant playlist playing in the background too! Vegetable spring rolls were elite! Definitely be visiting Hoi Choi again!

Just been to this lovely restaurant after recommendations from a couple of different relatives. Staff friendly and welcoming. Service very speedy and the menu was patiently explained to us as first timers, you can order three dishes at a time and continue if you are having the All You Can Eat Menu. Orders were quickly taken for our first choices, drinks served immediately and it wasn’t long before our first dishes arrived at the table. Every selection we had made was hot and absolutely delicious, in fact so good I kept forgetting to take photos to post ! No worries - we’ll have to go back - and really try to practise a bit of self control before tucking in next time ! Anyway, after my husband managed eight dishes and I’d demolished six dishes plus a dessert washed down with a couple of glasses of their lovely refreshing sparkling cloudy lemonade, we paid the bill, thanked the lovely waiting staff and waddled off to find our car which luckily was parked not too far away. All in all a fabulous first class meal in delightful surroundings….highly recommended by both of us !

As a chef, I know how hard it is to run an all-you-can-eat menu on a super busy day. The food was coming out incredibly fast while still being full of flavour and well executed. That level of consistency under pressure doesn’t happen by accident. The chefs here are clearly working at a very high level and honestly deserve and management should consider regarding pay rise for the standard they’re delivering.

Fantastic food and even better service. The food quality was exceptional—easily some of the best we’ve had recently. Outstanding taste 👌 It was a busy Saturday. What really stood out was the professionalism of the lady serving us. We witnessed another table shouting and yelling at her, was extremely rude, yet she remained incredibly gentle and polite while simply explaining the situation. Still they continued to be disrespectful. Even more impressive was that she continued to check on that table despite their behavior, all while ensuring our table was perfectly looked after. Management has a total professional on their hands. We’ll be back for the great food and to support such a hardworking team! 5 star ⭐

First time visiting. Was served by fez he was amazing and such a lovely guy. It’s easy to be over faced with the amount of food on all you can eat but is worth it for money. Only negative was pad thai was tasteless but everything else was amazing

We visited as a party of four adults. The food was excellent and great value, as were the drinks. It was a Saturday evening at 18:30 so busy. The noise levels were really high so don't go expecting conversation. We would go again just mid week.

This was a wonderful restaurant and I loved the idea of 3 dishes each with just enough on the plates for you to enjoy, 2 downsides are 15 minutes before you can order more food and adding the tip in with the bill, I think you should be asked first if you want to tip as we are not Americans and they get paid already, staff however we fabulous and the manager went out of his way to tell me which foods not to have due to allergies

First time we came here tonight and for a Monday it was quite busy. We were greeted and shown to our table by our waitress who was very nice. We were talked through how to order using their tablets, which is a great way to order. Loads to choose from on the menu, however please be aware you can only order 3 dishes each every 15 mins, which we found to be okay as it spaces it out. The food itself was lukewarm and some dishes were not tasty, especially the samosas and chilli paneer…the main dishes are not very big in portion sizes, except for the Ramen Noodle dishes, which is okay. Overall experience was a 4 out of 5 we would say, the lukewarm food was a let down and lack of flavour on some dishes. Decor was lovely and very clean

Just been for All your can eat lunch and the food was excellent, best Korma I've had. There were 11 of us so ordering on the tablet took up quite a bit of our time but it is easy and the food comes fairly quickly once ordered. Drinks are a bit pricey but they do offer Buy one get one free on cocktails and wines so I had 2 Pina Coladas and they were lovely. As it was lunch time there wasn't much of an atmosphere but the decor is very nice and the toilets were clean. The staff were very helpful and professional and we all said we will definitely go back again.

We called in for the first time and we enjoyed it. Decent amount of choice for food. Only things we didn't think were good were the prices. £7.45 for a bottle of cider and the food price £27.95 for the buffet. A bit steep in my opinion but the food was good. The bill came to somewhere near £80. We might go back again at some point but not anytime soon.

the food is disgusting everything is made in deep, dripping oil every dish has the same taste we received dishes that were ordered by other tables and the staff looked for people and asked customers who ordered a given dish We waited 1 hour for the first appetizers and we still didn't receive everything because they confused it with another table the woman we tried to explain it to yelled at us like we were little children, saying we made a mistake in our order, and then the next time we ordered we received the same meal from a different table. We will definitely not go back there and we advise everyone to order takeaway pizza from a local supplier. the only advantage may be the restaurant's decor UPDATED: Doubt any of the guests mentioned that our table was rude. That's your own invention. You don't know how to salvage the reputation of this place, you didn't even understand that it wasn't about ordering pizza from you, but that it would be better to order takeout from somewhere else. The rude lady was the one we asked for our order from after an hour, and I don't have to agree with the other reviews. If you can't accept that so it doesn't happen again, maybe you need to change your industry. You treated us like absolute garbage, and we have no intention of returning to you. Sometimes all it takes is a little humility and thinking about the angle of such an opinion. Telling us that we were naughty is something you can tell little children. I base my opinion on facts and you base yours on emotions

I ordered a meal and it was absolutely terrible. They had put unwashed herbs on the food, with soil and dirt still on the coriander. The whole dish was messy and disorganised. It had no flavour at all – no salt, no pepper, nothing. On top of that, it was very expensive. The photo showed something completely different, but when the food arrived it was obvious that it wasn’t fresh, and it tasted bland and dirty.
