Food was prepared fast and came to the table steaming hot. Everything tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients and cooked to order. Yes, the food was delicious but the driving force for this 5-star rating is the excellent customer service my family received while dining in after a long day. Iris is an absolute gem and a big reason why this Pizza Inn will be a top consideration for food whenever I'm in the area.

I don't often write reviews but this was just such a wonderful experience, I couldn't help myself. We've been ordering from this Pizza Inn for quite a bit and the service always been great. But today was a whole different story, I always order on the phone in this location, but while ordering a phone/ reception cut off mightve lead to my favorite interaction I've gotten to experience in my relatively short life. While ordering the usual Chocolate Chip Pizzert, I was trying to articulate cutting the pizza into square/ rectangle slices but the girl taking the order misheard and said, "you want Shrimp?" The receptionist and I just started laughing, I sadly couldn't capture her name, but this made the normally good pizza inn experience into one I hope I never forget. Also the Pizzert smelled and tasted great like always. Truly I wish the girl that took my order the best, she had an amazing vibe and she was so vibrant and it was more than needed with this rough patch I'm currently going to.

My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant. The pizza was delicious and you also get free fountain drinks. I have never experienced that at a restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. We met the new owners and they were very friendly and attentive to our needs. I would give it more than five stars if I was able to.

This Pizza Inn place is awesome. The service is good and the pizza and the wings was awesome. We love the crust and toppings. Another thing it was clean. Even the bathrooms were clean. We will tell others about this place as well as return with other events in mind. Thanks again.

This Pizza Inn location is owned by brother and this 5 star rating is not because he’s my brother. The pizza and all the other things on the menu are great!! I love the fact that you can watch anything on his big screen TV’s. It’s an awesome place to check out football games. What more can you ask for pizza, football and I forgot BYOB. Come out and check out his place you won’t be disappointed. For those that had bad experiences before my brother was the owner, come back. This location is no longer the same.

Although they didn't have a buffet, the pizza was very satisfying. Lizzett was very good in attending us and very relaxing. I always enjoyed good pizza from Pizza Inn.

Always fresh and great tasting pizza. My son loves to watch the TVs with sports on, as do I. The servers are always the sweetest and make sure we are attended to. It's a chill spot for me and the kids to just unwind and enjoy during lunch or dinner. The Taco pizza on Italian crust is my favorite but this day my son wanted pepperoni and he definitely tore it all up!

My family and I ended up having to stay in Dallas one night due to missing a flight. We met up with family who already live in Dallas at this Pizza Inn! It had great food, my teenage kids highly approved. We were told the cheeseburger pizza was a favorite and it did not disappoint. I wasn’t to sure at first because I’ve seen other places try burger pizzas and they don’t look that good, but the pizza here was yummy!!! We also enjoyed the buffulo chicken wings. The place is so clean and TVs are up and ready for watching games. Definitely hoping to visit Dallas in the future to see family and stopping here again to try other pizzas as well.

Great for pizza pickup. Ordered online. I arrived according to the scheduled pickup time, but was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I sat down and started watching the movie they were playing. I lost track of time, and suddenly the lady came and told me the pizza was ready. Pizza was hot, delicious, and not greasy. Great taste. Create Your Own was $18.99 plus taxes. Just recently heard there was new management. Thought I would give it a try since its been decades since I've eaten here. I have been looking for a good buffalo chicken pizza in the area, and this is it! Try it with the Italian crust. We have been back every week the last three weeks. This place is always busy, but the pizzas always come out fast and well made. Anthony is very friendly and has great customer service. We will definitely be back soon!

We love Pizza Inn!! We order from them once a week. Their service is so great, and their staff is kind and kind. So glad to have this business in our small town.

My online order was made perfectly. The new garlic crust is delicious! Unfortunately, this location won't be serving buffets, but the inside is being remodeling, and you can still order from the full menu.

I like Pizza Inn, and they are hard to find. They will make special requests for the buffet. The salad bar does not have great variety, but the quality of what they do have is pretty decent. The staff at this location is far friendlier than the one in Midlothian. My main complaint with this spot is that the booths need a complete overhaul.

Well they don't have the buffet anymore the buffet counter is completely gone. But the pizza and salad I ordered was delicious it's a great improvement over what this location used to be like. And I found that they have a new owner who has remodeled and made the food better.

Order was perfect. Pizza and wings were amazing. We had the Veggie Max, Buffalo Chicken, and Meaty Max pizzas. We would recommend all three flavors. Also, the Sweet Asian Chili wings were so good. Definitely adding to our family dinner restaurant list!

Tell you the truth I had one of the most pleasing conversations both with getting through and ordering I've had in quite a while. The order was right on time as mentioned. I'm not big on pizza but it was great!

Yesterday my brother picked up pizza on the first day of new owner/management. Pizza was hot and tasty and both my daughter and I enjoyed it. I honestly had written off Pizza Inn, but I think change is good. Look forward to supporting this local business and seeing good things happen at this location.

It's our first visit to this Pizza Inn branch and it was an okay experience. We like how spacious the place is. There were like 5 large screen TVs that took all my kids' attention. Service was very good. Our server was super nice and patient. The chicken BBQ pizza we got was good for the price we paid. Kids loved it. Over all, it was an okay experience!

This place has made a turn around, it is clean and people are friendly. I stopped purchasing pizza from here because of how bad the service was, but I'm not sure who took it over, but I can say they have won my business back. The food is good. They need to work on the wings.

People were nice and good service but the food was very lack luster. The piza bar had 3 pizzas on it and each had less than 4 slices left. Empty bar, thin crust was very crispy, but had no flavor.

I'm at the point where I will only do carryout only. The plates are old and need to be replaced. The tables are sticky buildup from over time. The floors...well.

Wasn’t all that excited about this place. The staff was awesome. There was no pizza on the bar but maybe a few cold slices but they did ask what kind of pizza we would like as we were walking in and had it out pretty fast. It does need an upgrade it is a little run down.

Well they need to change the name, because unfortunately they dont have a BUFFET anymore. Come on guys. Chinese buffets are opening back up, why dont you? Anyway, pizza is still good. 4/6/24: Well, no better on delivery than the previous owners. Said would be at my house "in 30 to 45 minutes or less." Got our order in an hour and 35 minutes. Food was warm. Driver couldn't find my street because "she needed to update her phone." At least she had the courtesy to call and ask where my house was. I'm done with this place. 8/26/23: Called 1136 am to place an order for pizza delivery $42 . Told to call back at noon when the driver would be there. Called & went to voice mail. Kept calling til someone answered the phone. Gave them our order which included a salad. Told them NO ham and 1000 island dressing (both of which were printed on the ticket) . GOT ham and Ranch dressing. Said my order would be here in 45 mins. Called when 1 hr 15 mins had passed. Said it was out for delivery now. Told the dude when they say it's going to be here in 45 mins, it should be here in 45 mins. He replied they had a bunch of deliveries. (Not my problem) So I asked if they would have taken my order when I 1st called at 1136, do you think I'd have my order on time? He didn't know. Sounds like stupid to me; take to go orders earlier than noon and have them ready just a bit before so the driver can leave immediately. Oh geeze, why be logical? Anyway, got my order 15 mins later...total 1 hr 30 mins.. Told the delivery person they were denied a 20% tip for not getting it here on time. I won't be ordering pizza from here for a long time; refuse to order from Domino's or Pizza Hut. So it looks like Mr. Jim's will be getting my business when we want delivery. A year ago (22): We quit going to this PI years ago because of the old owners (they sucked!). We loved the pizza today & delivery was on time. We will only do delivery ordering from this location as we go to the Midlothian location for the buffet, Tania (hostess) and Patricia (pizzamaker).

Pizza is great. However, last time i went the crust on one of the pizzas was wrong. Really didnt want to wait for them to cook another pizza while the other got cold, so no biggie, ill take it home. The issue i have is with the staff. Nobody seems to want to be there, are very short with customer interactions and do heavy sighs when they have to speak. It makes you feel like a burden instead of a customer. The issue has been at drive through and phone interactions. Perhaps pay a slightly higher wage and hire people with better personalities or the skill of customer service. The young man currently doing it doesnt seem to have that at all.

Pizza is good. There is no buffet here, which sucks.

Decided to stop in and try this pizza place out as it seemed crowded and I don't live in the area. First thing I noticed when I picked up a menu was a cock roach crawling on the counter! I informed the cashier about it and she acted as if she did not want to kill it! She told her manager who came looking for it and killed it with a white paper towel! I still decided to order a pizza though which tasted okay. AVOID THIS PLACE! If one cock roach was spotted that surely means the restaurant has more. State Health department and food and safety inspection should definitely check this place out! I probably won't ever come back.

The sign says "under new management". They are correct, and not for the better. First of all, this was right at noon, and only one pizza was on the buffet. So, I ordered my usual made-to-order small. When it arrived, it was in a delivery box and not on a pizza plate. Apparently they packed it so fast that a slice of pizza fell out of the box when I opened it. It fell right onto my hand and scalded it. Also, the past manager always made sure the meat portions were plentiful on a made-to-order. This was more along the lines of buffet portions. Probably won't be back.

I purchased a pizza last Sunday first person in the door, I'm really upset that my pizza barely had cheese on it an the dough seemed old, it's a shame because I had started frequenting this place a few times a month, now no more! Twice we have ordered pizza once was for take out. It was wrong or never got made though. I had to wait a whole hour. The only thing I got out was a 2 litter of Pepsi. I didn't ask for that and then the next time we dined In sit down, Waiter was nice, very talkative. A little too much then ordered our drinks. Never got them never got the napkins. Couple people walk in? They got their napkins? Got their drinks then. We got our pizza.They were both wrong.He even wrote wrong on the ticket from what I heard from the cook in the kitchen .It'll be about 15-20 minutes we waited longer then that hour n half from start to finish and we had to leave, just walk out told the kitchen took way to long I'm hungry and no one here We like pizza and sad very sad...

Pizza was phenomenal, but we dined in and it took over an hour for all four of us to get our meals (3 pizzas, and nuggets for an infant). Very old building. Men’s toilet bowl was clean but the seat wasn’t. Just gives off a very old and run down vibe. If it weren’t for the slow service and older building, this place would’ve easily been a 4-5 star.

I went here for lunch around 2pm. The employee behind the counter saw me but said nothing, it wasn’t until she left the the kitchen and walked back at in did she finally mumble a hello. I gave her my order: a small pepperoni pizza. I was told it would take 10 minutes. It took 40 minutes! Several people who came in after me left with their orders before I did. The girl behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge me the entire time when I finally spoke up about my order she turned around and took my order off the top of the pizza over where it had been sitting the entire time I was waiting. My pizza was cold by the time I received it. I would’ve asked to speak with a manager but my lunch break was nearly over. Absolutely horrible customer service. If it wasn’t for a previous visit that was extremely pleasant I would never return bc of how the young lady working today treated me. I like the pizza, but the service was terrible.

This location is extremely slow. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt after my pizza was made incorrectly and was missing my pizzert.. Called in to get my make up order and was told to pick up in 20 minutes, come 30 mins later and my order still hasn’t even touched the oven smh. On top of that I was put on hold for 10 minutes by the person that answered the phone to call an employee that was not at work to verify I had an replacement order although she already told me yes she sees it in the computer. I will not be ordering from here again.

My coworker and I went for their lunch buffet. The service was nah. The buffet was nah. No food out. No pizza or salad. We had to ask them about putting more pizza and salad out. The pizza was nah. Beware!!! Unless you have tons of time on your hands to take for a meal dont eat here. Got all buffet for my family and there was 3 other families eating also. Over a 45 min period 3 pizzas was put out for 15 people. Each person was getting 1 or 2 slices each. $9 with tax for each adult and I get a couple of slices? So when asking for a refund because we couldn't eat I was told no refunds. Well best believe I wont be back and I will be telling EVERYONE how rude and bad this Pizza Inn is! Buffet was horrible. They didn't tell me you had to order pizzas to be able to get them. It was maybe 3 or 4 people in there so pretty slow, but none of the workers bothered to clear the tables or clean them.

This place is the worst ran pizza place in the world. I ordered a pizza never got it was lied to 3 Times. First lie was they couldn’t find my address. Second lie was they had the wrong address. When I caught them in the second lie They came with the third and final lie the Driver got Robbed. OMG. After all that they didn’t want to give me a refund like all that was my fault. I wish I could make this zero stars. I ordered two pizzas and an order of pepperoni twists for delivery. They delivered the pizzas but the twists were missing. I told the driver and she said she would go back and get them. Ok fine, I thought it's an honest mistake. I wait...10 minutes, then 20, then 30 minutes have passed and still no twists. I try calling the store. I am put on hold and wait 5 minutes. I hang up and I'm put on hold again. I call one more time, the phone rings and the call disconnects. Now what? I guess I'm going to have to go to the store. So much for that delivery charge and tip I've already paid. At the store counter I speak to the manager. He says his name is Chelsey. I tell Chelsey that I want a refund for the item that was not delivered. He says it is on it way there now. I say that I had to physically come down to the store and that is not delivery, I want my money back. He says I can't give you a refund because I don't have access to the safe. So I'm out around $10 for an item I never received and the tip I paid for service I did not get. Papa John's is right next door and if their website was not down I would have ordered from them. This is the kind of treatment you can expect from the Pizza Inn in Duncanville. Never again.

The best thing was the salad, the buffet had 2 pizzas on it and it looked like it had been sitting there forever, had to get up and ask them if they were putting more pizza out, the 2 employees that I saw were to busy on their phones to even acknowledge anyone, finally someone said yes we are putting more out, it was the same kind that was already on there so only 2 pizzas were out on the buffet and there were several people in there how is 2 pizzas going to feed at least 15 people. It's a buffet you should have more than 2 pizzas on it and have a variety, the noodles were over cooked very chewy, will not return at least to that location.

This place is sad. Paid almost 20. Sat around waiting for pizza. They bring out 1. There are around 20 people in here. Pizza was gone before the tray was set down. This place needs new employees . And new management. If they can't keep the buffet people happy stop selling it.

My husband and I visited this location several times in the past. Today was the absolute WORST visit ever! First of all, they only had two half eaten pizzas left. There was NO salad on the salad bar. There were kids playing in the kitchen. I was told I couldn't get my own drink. Someone would bring it to us. It took her a minute to get to the table. My husband told her there wasn't any salad. She said she'd go cut some up. Then we saw her running back in the restaurant from outside laughing. No one seem to care or even ask if we needed anything until we were leaving. There were too many young adults working there without supervision. We will not be returning here EVER

Ordered a Supreme pizza with jalapeños pizza presentation was horrible. Too much sauce, not enough cheese to cover pizza. Mentioned to Manager about too much sauce he advised next time tell them light sauce. Not the response that should have been given.

Order online nearly 55.00. Was quoted an expected timeframe to pick up at window within 15 minutes of order confirmation. It took us 22 minutes to get to the location and was told it would be an additional 15 minutes and we asked to cancel and refund order. Even though Pizza Inns refund policy clearly states if refunds are requested to speak with manager at location where ordered. The personnel at the location stated they aren’t aware of the process and attempted to get us to pull off without a refund or our food. Personnel seemed lost as to appropriate process and was not appropriately dressed to provide customer service. My family has utilized this establishment since 1993 and saddens me to say that quality and customer service has changed. Doubt we will be back especially with Mr Gattis down the street. So hard to find good business these days.

I ordered a large half meaty max with extra pepperoni and half cheese with extra cheese. When we got home you could see the dough of the pizza on the meaty max side. No meat! Called to infom them and the Manager/Owner offered to give us a pepperoni credit??? Then continued to argue with me and never offered an apology for the incorrect pizza.He continued to tell me that it was the correct potions. How about give me what I paid for! Waited for 2 hours for a cold pizza to come i had to call after 1:20 minutes told the driver was on the way. Pizza should up cold called the story talked to a manager on duty said he did not know it could be cold ask to speak to the person in charge said they were not in but would call him. The owner is a man named Raheem told the manager to have the driver leave a cold pizza I had already sent the driver back with the cold pizza but would never even call me to see how bad his restaurant is being ran. We ordered a pizza one side pepperoni and pineapple and the other sausage and the bring us pineapple and cheese and the other part is right. So they take it back and add pepperoni and they bring us burnt pizza and this is what it looks like….would you eat this seriously

There is no buffet at all at this location, even though they have a sign on the outside advertising it. We drove through tons of traffic just to visit because it's one of our favorite places to eat.

My pizza was horrible! Dry! Bell pepper and onion were not cooked cold and Very little cheese. They did hook it up with the Sausage but it tasted horrible and I had to Rebake it in my oven The dough was doey! This Pizza Inn has become very inconsistent with its service. Between not having a consistent delivery driver and constantly messing up the food orders; I don't understand how their review is as high as it is. I have been ordering from this location for years and it's never been like this.

If it was a half a star i wouldn't give them that. There was dirt and knats in our salad. The, waitress went to prepare fresh salad and we found another knat and dirt. The, manager gave me a refund for my buffet and 1 of my daughter's. I'm new to the area and was looking forward to making Pizza Inn a weekly outing. 😣 great customer service bad salad.

Came in the early evening for dinner with the family, immediately got the feeling of being unwelcome by the staff. No one greeted us or even spoke to us till we approached the staff. Upon entering the dining area, we saw that there was hardly anything out for the buffet. Also, there were flies in most of the food and it was a mess! We reluctantly stayed and ate even though all they brought out was one fresh pizza and were still pretty rude. We would've have left if they hadn't made us pay first. Will be crossing this particular Pizza inn of our list of choices. We'll just make the trip to the one in Mesquite next time. Also! The television was on some stupid channel with a lot of cussing! 🖐️STOP don't eat here. Fly issues among there problems. Would NOT recommend this place. Customer service was very bad. Buffet was a mess, server seemed to not care at all. We arrived at 7:35pm. They said we had to pay first. Manager (Josh) did not say the buffet closed at 8:00 pm. So everything was a miss. They even charged a land a buffet salad and there was no salad stuff. 44.00 later, no refunds policy. This place is a total gross rip off. 👎👎👎👎👎

The buffet was so sparse when we showed up. There was no toilet paper in the restroom. There is still an HVAC leak in the ceiling. The silverware looked like it had water stains or had just been in water instead of washed. My shoes squeaked when walking across the floor due to the floor being sticky. Tables did not appear to have clean since they were sticky. 1 of 2 restrooms out of order. The "alfredo sauce" looked like a cheese sauce but did not taste like either. There also better ways to display the American flag in all its glory.

When I tell you I usually order wings, pizza or even there salad from here and they usually give me my order on time or I wait a couple minutes… especially for myself doing an online order. This day was the worse day I ever ordered from this location. I ordered my food at 7:09PM and estimated time for my order was 7:27 PM. I got there a little early like 7:15PM or 7:20PM. They told me it will be an extra couple minutes. However I didn’t know it was gonna take an extra 45 minutes for my food. By the way I only order cheese sticks and 10 count of wings. Which it shouldn’t be that hard right. However, since there dinning room was busy… I think there were really focused on those orders instead of online or even customers that called in to make an order. I watch associates arguing about why there so back up. I saw an associate lost and everyone pushing him out the way and all he was doing is his job. I had no one even ask what’s my order or acknowledge me while I was watching them arguing, trying to finish orders and what really got me over is continuously watch my wings continue to go through the convention oven while my cheese sticks was just sitting on the third shelf becoming cold. After that when I finally got acknowledged I just asked if I can get a refund. Because it was just ridiculous of what I saw. I will think twice before I order again.
