Richmond Street Bar & Grill

I visited Richmond Street Grill in El Segundo today and enjoyed the exceptional dining experience! The restaurant has inside seating, sidewalk seating, as well as a back patio, making it the perfect place for a casual lunch with friends in any kind of weather (it was 70 & sunny here, so the sidewalk seating was 👌). The menu was filled with lots of drinks and food options, but I ultimately decided on the mushroom burger. The burger was juicy and packed with flavor, and their homemade fries were delicious! The portions were generous and the service was outstanding. Overall, I would highly recommend Richmond Street Grill to anyone looking for a fantastic, casual meal. Five stars all the way!

Hadn't been in a few years. Glad to see that nothing had changed. Walking in the door you are greeted like an old friend. Food was great. I kinda wish my wife still worked down the street since this is such a fun place to go. I love sitting out on the back patio. It always feels like you're in a friend's back yard. A nice selection of locally sourced craft beers and then all of the usuals. It fits in perfect with the small town vibe of El Segundo. Believe me, if I lived in the area, I would be a regular.

I’ll be in El Segundo for the next six months and kept hearing Richmond Bar and Grill was a must. It didn’t disappoint. Cool, laid-back vibe, super welcoming staff. I spotted the peanut butter bacon cheeseburger on the menu and thought—really? Asked the bartender, and she swore by it. Gave it a shot, and wow. It was insanely good. Fries were solid too. Perfect meal all around. No doubt I’ll be making this a weekly stop.

The food and beer tasted great! It was very near the airport, which makes it convenient as a stop over when meeting someone before catching your flight. The crew who attended to our table was very friendly and helpful. Parking can get a little crowded during peak hours, but we were able to find a spot very quickly. Definitely a place I would come back to when I visit Los Angeles again in the future 🫶🏻

I was last in this location back in 96. I was stationed at Los Angeles Air Base in El Segundo. We used to come eat here from time to time. Well, the place and food are just as good now as they were then! The place is nice and location great with lots of parking nearby. Thanks for bringing back some great memories and times with friends!

Such a cool space! The back deck is cozy and the outdoor heaters made it very comfy. Food was great and beer selection was amazing! Good reviews from dog eaters, chicken sandwiches and turkey club.

This is a 5 star local casual bit of a “dive bar” and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. Its casual and fun and unpretentious, any the beer is great and the food is good. We love the fried pickles appetizer! The “back patio” also has a really cool covered outdoor “private/open” room. Would be great for a group event for a dozen friends! Servers are very fast! Love this place and we will be back. VictorB

I just had one of the worst takeout experiences, ever. This review is not meant to embarrass anyone or intended with malice, but I do hope it’s taken seriously. In fact, everything about this establishment is amazing, including the drinks and people. Sadly, I will not be returning because the wings were absolutely disappointing and quite literally made me sick trying to eat them. The sauce appears to be literal water with hot-sauce essence. On my two-block walk home, everything I ordered was damaged because the sauce was basically water and the container was made out of paper. I ordered a grilled cheese and that was ruined and I spent more time cleaning up my dinner table than I did eating. I tried giving the benefit of doubt by calling to ask if it’s normal to have watery sauce and soggy/rubbery wings that barely look cooked and sadly the answer was “yes it’s normal”. I was hoping for some customer satisfaction remedy but no luck. My GF and I literally threw out over $60 worth of food. I did enjoy the canned beer I had to pour myself. Chips were great too.

I went to two dodger playoff games here hoping for a good atmosphere (since it says it's a dodger bar) and both times there was a large corporate event that had taken over the back.

Got the PB Burger and it was great. The beer selection looked good and I will be back to try it, I was here on a work lunch so not too much opportunity.

Always a great time at our local bar & grill. Love the fact that we can walk there and the service is always dialed in and very friendly!!! Food is great and they have a number of local brews on tap. Never a bad time!

Great meal here. Fun atmosphere. Friendly service. Recently enjoyed lunch with family. Thursday afternoon around 4pm and the back was filled up but inside in the front had many available tables. We ate: B. L. T. A., chicken breast sandwich, onion rings, chips, arugula salad. The food was good and the portions were a good size. My brother is vegan and it wasn't easy to find a lot for him. But we expect that. The server didn't seem real knowledgeable regarding how the food was prepared and if something was vegan. But again, we didn't expect her to and she was friendly about all of our questions. There are about four TVs that were viewable for sports events from where we were sitting. The beer selection was good with some local beers on tap, lots of IPAs. The only downside and certainly not the Richmond's fault...We did have to do a few laps around the block and ended up dropping off my mom since we had to park about a block away. We used to go to The Richmond often and I've missed the ambiance. We are thinking maybe we'll be back soon.

Unfortunately, today was the wrong day to return. Because of the show, they were very busy. I think they may have been short staffed as well. For example, the bartender was pouring drinks and delivering them. Two servers were covering the front patio, the main bar area and the back patio. But, overall service time was okay however the quality and temperature of the food was poor. As said, my wife really likes the chips, she said they were just okay today. Her burger 🍔 was cold and missing the tomato and pickles. My fries were piping hot and salted perfectly but my burger was just lukewarm. Seemed like the crowds overwhelmed the kitchen today. We decided not to say anything but I overheard a guy next to me tell one of the servers that his meal was cold. So, we were not the only one. My suggestion? Don't go on very busy days. Hope your experience is better than ours and...enjoy!
