And when I spotted that Sizzler Steakhouse..I about whipped it on in right then and there! But, I had that damned Adolphus Goobinstiener thingie and a Lopplager Hedgepacker in the back of the truck that needed to go over to Cowtown Charlie's Tumbleweed Ranch, so Sizzler will have to wait. Well, I got there just in time because the place was filling up fast with Octogenarians, and they want their supper promptly at 4:30 followed by green jello at 5pm I got the Pork Chop, and it was Spectacular! Perfectly cooked - 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Never been to Sizzler before so wife and I had no idea what to expect. Overall dining experience was great. We enjoyed our meals together, and the salad bar was deliciously fresh. Sara our server was very kind and helpful. Dessert was the cherry on top, no pun intended. Dining room was clean and cozy. Handles to the salad dressing needed to be wiped down but nothing crazy. Thank you, we'll be back!

I have been eating at sizzlers all over California since I was a child. I Love the salad bar. The salad is always fresh and delicious. There are so many choices to have a yummy salad. I have been to this sizzler 6 times now. I am never disappointed. Sizzler (you have to whisper the name) is definitely a classic that will never go out of style. The salad bar has so many options! My favorite dinner is the steak and Malibu chicken. And don't get me started on the cheese bread! You will absolutely walk away full and happy.

Love the Salad bar. Fabulous clam chowder and basil tomato Soup, So much variety in the salad bar with seasonal specialty salads. Chicken wings, Taco bar, Includes desserts from fruits to brownies to ice cream... In summer, I love to take root beer and add some ice cream for a root beer float. Please support your local Sizzler as we can't live without them... at one low price, It's just Incomparable... And all the people working there are friendly!

Over priced. No wonder restaurants are hurting or closing down. People can't afford to spend huge amounts of money to eat out. Before covid yes you could. It is corporate greed.

My wife and I have lived in the neighborhood for 4+ years & on Thanksgiving we decided to dine in for the first time with our 1 year old son. Classic atmosphere, swift service, great prices with delicious food.

Re cooked my steak because it was medium well and loaded me on shrimp. 18.99+ for unlimited shrimp and steak. I'll take it over red lobster any day for real. Ask for Anita or Danielle for servers they're AMAZING!

Overall, it was a nice experience. The food was good and the restaurant was nice and clean, including the bathroom. However, I give a 4 because for most of our visit, there wasn't anyone coming around to take our plates and to ask us if we'd like more bread and drinks refilled. I did have to go look for someone to ask. Otherwise, all else good! 👍🏼

The salad bar was kept clean and stocked with fresh ingredients. Three soup choices, pasta, tacos, wings, desserts, something for everyone. Seems to be a pattern, every time we dine here the waitress almost never takes any dirty dishes from the table. We have a party of six, three are small children who like to grab things so it would be very helpful if we didn't have stacks of plates everywhere. I would also recommend asking them to put a hold on your entree if you don't want it before you even prepare a salad. Literally less than ten minutes after ordering and finding a seat (seat yourself) our entrees were on the table. Overall a good meal, the price could be lower but it's not exactly overpriced either.

We been always here in sizzler many times. Yesterday 1/9/24 around 6:30-7:30pm we order Steak with unlimited shrimp, with salads the portions is reasonable but the steak is kind of small portion compared to last time we went. Price is kind of expensive for food. Need some discounts or promotions. 😉 The service is great the lady is very helpful and helps all customers. The place is okay. The food is good, but the prices went up. They didn’t include a side salad or soup with the smaller plates. It was an add-on cost. The clam chowder and menudo didn’t have much substance this visit. The service was very good.

It was the first time I had been there and was surprised. The steak was cooked to perfection and very tender a bit on the small side but it was part of a trio. The salad bar was awesome and the kids loved it and a good value for them. They have a senior discount although I just missed it by a year. Oh the cheese toast bread is the best the kids were fighting over it I lost mine in the battle they gave me a piece if it.

The salad bar was very good. It was kept clean and tidy. The restaurant provides disposable plastic gloves to prevent the spread of disease. I ordered the steak and fries. I highly recommend the salad bar, however the made to order meal was cold and over cooked. This is not a negative review the waitress was exceptionally courteous and nice. I would definitely return for more.

I haven't been to a buffet in a really long time. I did not know sizzler had such a wide variety for the salad bar. I also haven't been to a sizzlers in a decade. I ordered the senior soup and salad bar. Salad bar was very fresh and fully stocked as was the soup bar. Employee had a thermometer and was checking the temperature of all the salads which shows they’re very serious about the freshness and healthiness of their foods.

The salad bar offers spaghetti, tacos, corn dogs, soup, nachos, ice cream, jello, pasta salad, potato salad, and too much more to list here. All for $14.29. It is really and all you can eat buffet. I ate at the last Sizzlers in my area in Carmichael, two others in, Roseville and Auburn, have closed recently (Victims of Covid and California's $20 minimum wage).🤑 I would suggest that Sizzlers should be judged through the lens of a good value: 1. Flame broiled 14 oz. New York Strip🔥 Cooked.to your preference. 2. Baked potatoe with all the fix'ns for -$22 for both 3. Add one trip to salad bar- either the cold or hot side - $3.99 - My son chose the salad. - I chose clam chowder, chicken wings, and meatballs 4. Free cheese toast! 5. Had a craving for the chicken wings and was so disappointed with how dry and small they were. The wings are so tiny now. I did enjoy the clam chowder - it was fresh and delicious. The salad bar was great and has a lot of variety. The cheese toast is always tasty but they only give you a few at a time. The waitress was great at replenishing the toast.

Our servers were all top notch very attentive and helpful. The overall quality of the food was mediocre but we didn't come with high expectations, I was interested in the salad bar - but it was underwhelming, I also got the steak and shrimp (but found the breaded shrimp pretty bland and the steak was over cooked and not a very good cut)

It is an affordable place to go to when you're hungry but not expecting great food. My uncle was disappointed with the ribs. My nephew was satisfied with the salmon. My aunt enjoyed her loaded side salad but her shrimp main course was so so. Unlimited run to the salad bar satisfied my hunger.

I gave this particular sizzler location a 3 instead of a 2 just because of the good service I have received when I have had lunch at this place last April 15. There are only few selections at the salad bar. The clam chowder soup was not good at all. Same thing with the fried chicken. For a better salad bar eating experience I will recommend the sizzler located in Natomas instead of this place. And this is my honest and unbiased review!

Had the AYCE salad buffet for dinner. It's up to almost $19 per person now and the options continue to get worse. My in laws prefer the price at this location vs the one on Truxel but the food is better at Truxel.

The person at the register is not really cut out for customers. Never given less than 5 stars . It was late maybe that’s the reason , but she was upset that me and my wife share a steak dinner, then she wouldn’t let my wife add the side salad to the meal she said she had to get the whole salad buffet , and let’s not start on the fact that I only drink water. Spent 50$ on a pretty bad steak and a couple pieces of lettuce. I was under the impression that once you bought food you could then do what you want with it. Not here lol I’ve ate at thousands of different restaurants and never found one that I wouldn’t go back to. But I’m going to look elsewhere for dinner tomorrow.

My family usually loves Sizzler but this location feels very run down. The last two times we’ve been here (within the last 2 weeks), the AC has been out (in over 100° weather) and the bathrooms are not well supplied (no soap and the waitress said there was soap in there). Also, the clam chowder soup tasted bitter until they made a new one. We hope Sizzler can fix these issues, since their food is usually great and we used to love coming here.

We really use to enjoy eating at this location and would go there once a week for dinner. The food was always excellent and the service was great. But we have only been there 3 or 4 times in the last four or five years because the price of the unlimited salad bar with an entre' went UP way to MUCH!!! Generally speaking when you get an entre' you only go to the salad bar once for salad and once for dessert. But Sizzler was charging like that was your only meal. So if Sizzler wants our business back STOP charging TOO much for the unlimited salad bar. We have since taken our business to the Texas Roadhouse where a salad is a choice of sides with an entre'. Where we now go once a week...

Steak is unfairly small. Lobster, unlimited shrimps and salad bar are all fresh and tasty for the price.

We went at dinner time. The food was good but I only saw one server… !!! What kind of restaurant only has one server at the busiest time of day???? Very poor choice of management!!! Went there tonight & ordered salad bar for 2. Spend 31.00 bucks. 1 hr later rumbling in my tummy while driving. Thankfully made it home for explosive diarrhea. I think i already made 9 runs to the toilet. Never will eat here again. Sizzlers used to be a great place to eat in the 80s and 90s. Now it's the dumps.

Spend $12 on a dinner and they refuse to give you a box to take your food home. They give you some foil and a paper bag and say have a nice day. They refused to provide a box even when I asked for one. Never had this problem at a sizzler. The cheap Sobs didn't even give us enough foil to wrap the left overs from my dinner. Also, they bury the chicken wings at the very back of the serving bar, almost can't reach them. Won't be coming back.

Inordeeed the steak and lobster through doordash with a baked potato with the works and i got no lobster tail some mashed potatoes that looked old and a mystery item that looked like a chicken patty with ham and cheese on it. The food was cold and the onkybthing that was ok was the steak the rest of it didnt look very good and its not what i ordered. My reciept clearly states my order how they gave me what i got is beyond me. Not happy at all.

Been coming here for many years and always got a salad bar. Today we came, but fried chicken was awful. It was dark and dry. It smelled old. And looked like it was fried in old oil. Chicken looked so gross and dark. We asked the server about what was happening and told her that chicken here was always good. She said she will ask and never came back. We just left. Waisted $45 for disgusting dinner.

We came by on a Sunday night for some good food and left utterly disappointed with both the food & the service. The service was poor with the host rudely smacking on his gum as he spoke. Also, you pay BEFORE you sit down to eat.....The waiter was dull and didn’t seem to care about anything. The food was even worse though. My husbands burger was so oily and soggy that the bottom bun was breaking apart. The burger itself was tasteless and the patty tasted like a frozen walmart patty. My shrimp was bitter, rice was unsalted and disgusting, steak was outrageously small and tasteless for the price. The only decent tasting thing i tried was the mango lemonade! The baked potatoes we got were full of brown spots and fully cold. Completely dissatisfied with this location and not as willing to try other Sizzler locations. Don’t charge us $50 for a dinner that will taste terrible!

This used to be a reliable, cost-friendly, quality restaurant chain. Sadly, going there for my 65th birthday party with family was a huge, somewhat pricey disappointment. Tiny 6(?)oz steak with a tendon and fat running thru it, that was medium well, not medium rare. And the lobster was small, undercooked but tough and somehow greasy. For $22, it was sad, to say the least. The rice pilaf was greasy, clumpy and tasteless. The veggie side dish was overcooked carrot slices. I could go on, but don't want to ruin what's left of my birthday. The waitress did bring me an upside down cone with ice cream and syrup in it for my day, but it didn't alleviate it almost thunderous noise and dirty, chaotic atmosphere. Not going back sadly.

Went to Sizzler to celebrate our 4th anniversary and was disappointed. Our steaks were burnt, bland, and dry. I ordered mushrooms for my steak and when the food arrives the waitress stated "sorry we don't have any more mushrooms". That would have been nice to know before we paid for the mushrooms. Also, our waitress completed her shift 10 minutes into dinning and no other waitress/waiter waited on us. In addition when we arrived it took more than 5 minutes for someone to take our order, and given that 2 employees were standing by the foundation machine talking to each (1 happened to notice and then walked over to take our order). Disappointed and will most likely not be going back

I am completely mortified after I found two flies trapped in the to-go container for my Door Dash order! Completely unacceptable! What if I ate the fly infested meal! It is Sizzler's responsibility to make sure their packaging is secure to prevent something like this from happening! There were no safety stickers on the packaging and a simple knot was used for the to-go bag. Eat here at your own risk! I've never had this happen to me before and this will be the last time I eat here! Edit: Funny how whoever runs the Sizzler account to respond to reviews completely ignored my concerns and only responds to the fake 5-star reviews. No apology, no nothing.. thats how much they care about their customers and the quality of their fly infested meals!

Never again, ordered a chicken burger and the chicken was raw. Luckily I didn't get food poisoning. They did make me another burger. That was well done. For me never again

Ordered the Fried Shrimp and Sirloin Combo on Doordash. What arrived was hideous! First off, I paid almost $5 extra for an 8oz upgrade. This thin little piece of meat is barely 6oz at most! Secondly, the mushroom and onion add ons were not caramelized, and y'all didn't even cut the mushrooms! Also now my fried shrimp is soggy because y'all placed it in a pool of juices. Like huh? Oh well, glad I got a full refund.

We ordered two entrees with salad bars. The entrees were the sirloin tips. Both steaks were badly overcooked and were very rubbery and not fresh. The food at the salad bar was spoiled too. Brown lettuce, congealed cheese and rancid clam chowder that must have been sitting in a kitchen reducing for hours. I then threw up in the restaurant bathroom a few times. After I alerted the staff and asked for a manager, they simply dismissed what happened to me and argued that all of their food was made fresh. I got food poisoning and the staff continued with their apathy and did nothing. This is very unfortunate because we eat here at least once a month and we usually enjoy eating here. After the apathy we experienced I am doubtful we'll come back to this location. They are giving food poisoning to children, avoid this place at all costs.

Wow...that was an interesting dining experience. Paid $52 for apparently a literally 2 bite steak and a frozen walmart chicken patty with the government cheese and what I believe is supposed to be ham. I got the smokey bacon burger...let's just say if I was at a food bank it would have been tolerable. Either that or I would have been desperate to eat. Pretty sure someone rubbed the salad on their behind. Went up the the counter to ask for a partial refund for the entrees. The lady then said we could get $11 back. The manager seems to not care too much about quality, integrity and appears to have a lack of common sense. All the counter girls were standing around like they were stuck in the middle of a war scene about to have a nervous breakdown. What happened to common decency and being polite instead of treating a job like just a job? Glad to say we definitely will not be back. This is laughable at the least

So the service was decent my bake potato had no potato just a whole bunch of sour cream And to clumps of butter. Thus thermostat in this picture doesn't look like it's been cleaned in a long time. And I had a waiter take my potato away and I wasn't done with it and she offered to put it back on the table and I said no very nicely.. Then she came back and asked me again if I want another potato and I declined very nicely.
