703 BAR + KITCHEN

My husband and I went for breakfast at 9am Saturday. I loved that it was nice and quiet! They have a brunch buffet for $18pp and a la carte menu. We ordered pork hash and biscuits and gravy. Both were excellent. Service was friendly and well paced. Ambiance was nice. I recommend it!

Normally I avoid hotel restaraunts but I had a tuna dish that was the daily special and it was fantastic. Service was also great. I sat at the bar and everyone else near me enjoyed their dishes also. My tab wasn't cheap but I had no regrets eating here, would definitely do it again.

Had a great experience at 703 tonight. I'm in town for a work event and the place was pretty busy but the bartender was very attentive and provided great recommendations all night. I had a kale salad, very tasty and very large, and the grilled shrimp appetizer with jalepeno aioli. Great flavor! After that I was still hungry so I had the fried green tomatoes and they were also really good - with a bay seasoning aioli. Top-notch. Their beer list is good, too, with mostly VA and MD selections. Wine list was very good too with a lot of quality wines under the $12/glass level. That's refreshing because I travel a lot and so many places start their wines by the glass at $12/13 per glass. That's expensive. Overall this is a very good hotel restaurant. No need to drive anywhere - just eat and drink here and you'll be quite happy.

I stayed here for a business trip. Mary and Victor in the 703 bar are AMAZING. Victor remembered our drink orders from night to night and gave us excellent service. Mary is a sweetheart who also remembered us each night and came over to greet us. They made our stay comfortable and fun. Thank you both!

Always love dinning here, the food is consistant and they provide amazing dishes in a modern, comfortable environment! Hannah our server is a legend and highly recommended to anyone who hasn't tried the restraunt to dine here!

This is a superb eatery in Fairfax, VA. The food, drinks, and service are excellent. One of the few places in the area that can mix a proper old fashioned, or do a rare steak correctly.

Always enjoy this bar and kitchen when I come in town for a stay at Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks. Absolutely love the bartender, she is personable andfriendly and chef is amazing!

Great presentation and good local beer selections :) Pork belly special was so tasty and Lobster Roll huge and awesome! Overall lovely experience!

For a hotel bar they have a great local craft beer selection and amazing bourbon selection

Smash Burger was delicious, fries were surprisingly good. Also Juana the bartender was really nice!

I ordered the shrimp and Grits. I wasn’t expecting much from an empty hotel restaurant at 9 PM on a Sunday night, but I had met up with my parents who were staying at the hotel, and it was convenient. I was floored by how delicious my dish was. I’m sure it’s all preprepared in sous vide bags, but the shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was so flavorful. I’m going to go back again because I really appreciated the high quality food and quiet atmosphere. The service was good too.

Awesome bar and whiskey selection! Quiet, business hotel atmosphere with a friendly staff. For a cocktail, my wife loved their "Hissy Fit": bourbon, blackberry, and fresh lemon juice. If you are trying whiskey, I would highly recommend the Sazerac - 6yr. rye whiskey (from Buffalo Trace, not to be confused with the Sazerac drink). Other whiskey to try: Four Roses Single, Pikesville, Bare Knuckle Rye, or their Cask Finished flight. Note: they also offer limited availability products from Buffalo Trace, such as the "Antique Collection". Food was good, not great but excellent for a hotel restaurant. We ordered the Lobster Risotto and their "Buttermilk Fried Yohanan Farm Chicken", very tasty fried chicken! If you are staying in the Fairfax Marriott, their bar menu is reason enough not to leave the hotel!

I went here last night and was surprised how nice it was for being in a Marriott hotel. I ordered the clam and corn chowder which was a significant step up from what you'd get in a diner. We followed that up with a margarita flat bread that was the worst item we bought - not that flavorful but I did like the half baby tomatoes served as toppings. We also ordered the mac and cheese with spare ribs as a topping. The Mac and cheese was good but spare ribs tasted more like pulled BBQ. We both ordered burgers for our main entrees. They were well cooked and had fresh toppings and were the highlight of the meal. The ambiance was great - there was a nice fire place and the area was nicely decorated. The service was also great - our server refilled my water at least 5 times (I had just come from a hockey game) and was very nice and attentive. Overall, I will definitely come back, it was a good experience.

Usually we don't venture into a hotel for a nice dinner but seeing that it was restaurant week and the 703 bar +kitchen had a nice variety of menu items we decided to take a gamble. We were some of the first people to arrive for dinner and we're greeted by a very friendly staff. After we placed our orders and our food started to arrive we were delighted at the presentation and the taste of all of our small tasting plates. My boyfriend and me each order three from their menu for the restaurant week specials and enjoyed each selection we made. We will definitely be returning and can't wait to try a few new items the next time we go!

Had a late night snack and martini at the bar, greeted with a smile and great service. Food was fine for a hotel bar, service and the martini were very good. Atmosphere is pretty generic, and the bar almost feels like it's a part of the lobby.

We just celebrated my wife's birthday with my mother-in-law. Anthony, our server, was kind and efficient. The sirloin was tender, the scallops were tasty, and the fish tacos were awesome. We will come again!

Had great service, food was pretty good. Not sure I would go out of my way for it but for a hotel really enjoyed, I especially appreciated the atmosphere. Some of their items were $25-$30 per entree but they had a few other options such as flatbreads.

In the lobby of the Marriott..so service was very good and attentive. Food was good and drinks poured generously. Why go out when this is short walk to your room.

Breakfast was including with stay. The server is very nice and attentive. Breakfast did change everyday and have lots to choose from. Delicious egg, bacon, and toast.

Awesome food and a good beer selection. Portions a a little on the small side, but that is their whole thing. Wings are incredible. I had to get two orders!

A very nice place to have breakfast. Not an ordinary restaurant its located inside the hotel. Free coffee!! Make sure to check operating hours.

When stayed here for the weekend and the breakfast was a step above the standard buffet with the addition of a fresh omelet station

I'll say that the food was luke warm/cold but delicious because you could tell it sat for a while before it was served to us. The lobster bisque soup was served with a film on the top from sitting but overall had a good flavor. The crispy Brussels sprouts were so delicious. The loaded tater tots were ok. I think the experience could have been better had everything been served hot and in a timely manner. It took over an hour to get our appetizers and they served them without silverware, napkins or plates. Didn't want to send anything back because it had already taken so long to recieve. The food wasn't bad, but it could have been better had it been hot.

The food was okay. We ordered the brisket spring rolls and to our suprise they were very small. I ordered the chicken sandwhich and one side was better tasting than the other and the brisket sandwhich that my wife had was very salty. The service was good!

Convenient but the lobster ravioli was very bad. Brussel sprouts were dope though. All said, not worth. Get something simple of you get anything at all.

Not good! Lobster ravioli was plated long before served. Luke warm Sauce was crusty.

Ordered house tots that should come with spicy ketchup. They came very dark like they have been deep fried twice and soggy on the inside, with normal ketchup. Ordered New York Strip medium, steak came room temperature and well done. Felt like the plate sat under a heat lamp. I had to ask for a steak knife This place is not good for food for the price. What a waste of my time, i have no idea why they have the rating they do. Do not eat here.

Only one waitress for an entire restaurant? And it was her first day? We had reservations for 6:30. At 6:45 I asked the man behind the bar if anyone would serve us and he said she is right there. At 6:55 still no one even greeted us. We left and ate across the parking lot at Texas de Brazil.

I went in Sunday night 10pm 6 /1 /25 Kids in the lobby yelling about 12 pre teens. I wanted 22 mins for bartender to even acknowledged me. Bartender acted as if she was bothered to help us. Horrible service. Every liquor I asked for they were out of so the bar was not stocked. Mind youIt wasn't busy.There was only three other tables in the whole lounge. But the last thing you want to do is go to a nice bar and have to see kids running around hitting each other, giving each other piggybacks running up and down and screaming all through the lobby, which is right across from the bar.
