Although a gyro sandwich isn't necessarily five-star food, this place prepares them very well and is also a delightful place to visit. The gyro meat was nice and crispy and still a little juicy, the important points in good gyro. Seasoning was standard, which is just fine. Pita, nice and soft and fresh. The size of the meal was perfect for me. This place is about as far away from a chain fast-food restaurant as you can get. Pride is very evident. The interior is jammed with plants and they even have an indoor fish pond. Seating is plentiful inside and there is also a small outdoor eating area. Bathrooms are accessed from the outside of the building with a code you are given. Mine was clean. It's very nice to have this place in Fallbrook.
Correction to this post! The salad in the picture is not $475, it's about $8. The junior salad is $4.75, it's the size of a standard a small to go box, does have all the same fixings.. confusing, small is medium, Junior is small. THE GOOD: Exceeded my expectations both times. The small salad (SEE PHOTO) for about $8 is huge, it has Greek dressing, olives, onions, feta cheese, tomato, several types of greens, and more. I've tried both the chicken and regular gyro sandwiches, both are excellent. I don't recall exact price, approximately 8 or 9 dollars both generous portions. I requested a small sample of the chicken before ordering, they heated it and it was tasty. I am a bit of a junk food junkie, admittedly I like the standard gyro meat better, but the chicken is likely much more healthy and I would order it again as well. Atmosphere is decent, a beautiful Koi pond, order at the counter and they will deliver to your table, so not a full service restaurant. I got extra sauce; would recommend that you do the same. THE BAD, nothing horrible, I would recommend extra gyro sauce with the chicken, the standard gyro meat is much more moist and may not require it. FYI, there is a charge to use your credit card, the girl could not tell me how much the charge was apparently a percent as she said it's different every time. I will try to update this review later if I can figure it out. The first time I paid with credit card, but I do not recall credit card charge or whether or not tip is forced. It is a pet peeve of mine to revolt against hidden charges, I recommend you watch out for these nowadays, I've purchased a soda at different locations, NOT HERE, and noticed it cost nearly twice what I expected, the counter person explaining the credit card charge, some places one or two bucks. AGAIN THAT WAS NOT AT THIS RESTAURANT, I DON'T KNOW THIS RESTAURANTS CREDIT CARD CHARGE, IT MIGHT BE SMALL, SUCH AS SIMPLY 3% THAT THEY MUST PAY, BUT WATCH OUT FOR THOSE HIDDEN FEES AND FORCED TIPS AT NON FULL SERVICE COUNTER ORDER TAKEAWAY STYLE RESTAURANTS. The first time I ate here was 13 years ago. I came for the "Greek Chicken Salad" and I haven't looked back since. I'm not a regular but it's nice to come back to a place and have the food taste just as delicious. Throughout the years I've had a few sandwiches and they are excellent, never disappointed. To me this place has always been about the salads...for me. But if you talk to locals they all have they're personal favorites. It's a great , family owned restaurant that I highly recommend in Fallbrook.
This place is amazing! Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. I had a chicken pita sandwich, extra feta, extra tzatziki, and olives. Husband had acsteak kebob, sakad, and rice. The steak was so tender you could cut it with a plastic knife. If I lived in North Country I would eat here a minimum of twice a week. I'm being picky, but the spanikopita was tiny and a bit oily. I ordered one to-go, and it was wrapped in foil after bring fried, so it got soggy. I have a feeling if I ate it there, it would be crispy. Same with the fries, ask for crispy. I really loved this place.
Always quick and easy, love this place. It has become my number one spot to obtain salads that are fresh and very good. It can get pricey if your adding additional items but overall great price for healthy food. Lost 15 lbs just eating their salads twice a day. 😃 Only negative comment i would say is that, when I order salads sometimes with fish, the fish can be rather small although its 10.00 for the fish alone.
So I don't normal leave reviews on anything but I just ate a bite of the chicken... Best chicken I've ever had, flavor is perfect & falls right off the bone! Kudos to the cook 👏

It’s good but I’ve never had a gyro with more bread than meat. I don’t need it over stuffed but it’s less than half full. You definitely have to order extra meat to get the amount a normal gyro has.
Good food, but I was thrown off by them wanting .55 for an extra ranch dressing. I paid 14.98 for a veggie burger and fried zucchini. Tipped 1.50 so 16.48. See photo, not sure how 1 small little mini cup of ranch is supposed to be enough?? Whatever.
Good Greek food restaurant / fast food. The gyro pita was good especially with the added avocado. Fries were good. The baclava was good. The service was great and quick. The inside ambiance was fun.

Fantastic Greek food with very reasonable prices. The kabobs were excellent along with rice and salad. Pita bread was also good. Garlic toast was ok. Will definitely visit again and will recommend to friends and family.

The woman told me that the salad dressing is on the side but then they put the salad on the salad and it was way too heavy. The prices are misleading. We ordered a large salad mix $15 & then adding on a half a pound of heroes of the meal was $30. Salad was $15 was like $11 for half a pound Gyros 🥙 and then they charge you extra tzatziki and pita 🫓 Booths are sooo small you can barely fit in very uncomfortable 😳

So sad, as half the meat is left on today’s order😢 The service is usually quick and responsive and I would prefer the previous bland atmosphere of stark white walls trimmed in blue and a return to full portion and consistent quality of the original owner.

Malnourished and abused chickens The chicken was dry and barely had no meat. This is the third time and probably last time I'll ever come to this restaurant. Look at the last two and three star reviews all saying the same thing. You get rice and bread to fill you up. Not sure where they're getting the chicken, but these chickens are malnourished and abused to say the least. When you spend $20 and you throw away half your food, you realize you've been burned don't get burned and go somewhere else
I ordered a Greek chicken dinner to be delivered by grub hub. The delivery was great but the food was so disappointing!!! I paid extra for all white meat chicken. It was supposed to be a1/4 chicken. What I received was one wing and part of a side rib. The total weight of the chicken was 5.5 oz. Please see the photos. After removing the bones and grissle there was a total of 3.2 ounces of meat. I paid $20.59 for this! According to the order sent by grub hub there was supposed to be pita bread which there was, a salad with dressing on the side which did not arrive and onion rings. There were 5 onion rings which measured approximately two inches in circumference each and were so over cooked that only one was editable. My husband ordered a gyros sandwich which consisted of a pita with 4.5 slices of gyros and two slices of raw onion. According to the order listed on the grub hub confirmation it was to come with onion rings. There were none. Both meals were supposed to have Tziziki. In addition I order and paid for three extra Tziziki. I received 4 small cups instead of five. I really don’t think I am asking for much. I would just like to receive what I paid for. This definitely was NOT a $40.00 meal!

Finally go weeks later and they gave me such a hard time, they didn’t believe me and even when I showed them a picture and they confirmed with the lady I spoke to they still made me pay for my food and said they would get back to me and never did. Awful experience with customer service even the supervisor said he had to investigate on the day it happened all for a chicken salad. Will never go again just because of the poor customer service.
