Shipley Do-Nuts

I love the donuts, the icing are always so clean and pretty! The donuts will literally melt into your mouth when you bite them. 10/10 would recommend, the girls are always so nice and sweet. My family loves coming here for a sweet treat!

We love this Shipley Donuts! Alexias helped us 10 min before closing, she was very kind to my kids in their selection of donuts. The donuts were fresh and tasted excellent.

Ariona was one of the most polite people. The food was obviously good, it's donuts yo.

We ordered a 1/2 dozen specialty box on-line. It was a super easy experience and delivery was swift.

Delicious 😋 donuts, the regular type and the filled ones as well. They also have pigs in a blanket or as some know them as kolaches.

The staff have been really nice, and the donuts and kolaches were delicious! It’s really nice that this location stays open later. I will definitely be visiting regularly!

I was pleasantly surprised that this donut shop closed later because I stopped by at about 1245pm. The employee who helped me was very nice, prompt, and honest. I asked for Kolaches, and she said there were fresher ones coming out in about 10mins. I opted NOT to wait. I didn't feel rushed, although she seemed to be the only one there that afternoon. Despite this, the area inside looked clean, and the donuts were labeled nicely. I just don't like how much donuts cost nowadays.

It was ok. Their donuts didn’t hit the crew like I expected. I spent $50 dollars and they sat on the work bench for two days. It tells me a lot.

I haven't had donuts in a few years as I've been on a fitness journey. I've been craving donut holes for about 4 months now. My most awesome hubby stopped and got me some this morning. I was so excited to sink my teeth into them.... Ahhh honey did you eat half of each one??? He laughed and asked why.... I showed him why... What on earth happened to them??? I know the economy didn't affect donut holes, lol. The same hole that's been cut out of donuts for hundreds of years is now a quarter of the size as it was. I was so disappointed as I was expecting two bite donut holes. My hubby said QT had the best donut holes and I insisted on Shipleys cause they were the best. I was wrong and not afraid to admit it. At least QTs are round and 2 bites big. I know because I've craved them and just never purchased. Now my craving is gone, and I'm so glad. I will never purchase them or anything else at Shipleys again. Way to skimp on a simple donut hole..... unbelievable!!!!

Omg this is not okay the hat is brown the lady said that was normal but I just threw it away I was scared to eat it

Been several times. I’m willing to change my review if it gets better. Lived in Saginaw and went to that location for years. Something about their glazed is different. They melt in your mouth. I wish I knew why.

I had donuts that were dry then I had 2 donut fresh from the grease and they iced them and drop them in the bag , it was a mess. Service was slow and terrible. They ignore request. I had to repeat things in multiples and still did not receive what I asked for.

This place is so conveniently located for me, and I really wanted to like this place, I really did, but they are consistently bad. Last time I ordered kolaches, they were dry and hard as a rock! This time, I ordered donut holes that tasted like perfume. It should be basic knowledge that food preparers should not wear fragrances because it will be mixed in with the food. I tried to give this place several chances, but I cannot support them anymore. Such a shame.

They don’t have normal donuts that most Shipleys do have they don’t sell at this location. Which was a little odd to me. But that’s not a big deal. It’s just a small detail for me personally. I have tried every single thing in this Shipley’s Location. I have come to realize that they don’t make their donuts fresh every day, and I mean they go days until they sell those stale donuts out to make new ones. Every time I go Get donuts from here they are stale. Not every single donut, it is only the donuts that Have icing. Every shape they have with icing are the ones that are always stale. The rest it depends on what day. Sometimes the kolaches are not fully cooked, meaning the dough. It’s so frustrating because I have to go out of my way to go to another one when there’s one right near my house which is this one, but obviously there’s good owners and there’s lazy ones and this one is Cutting corners or just being straight a lazy Shipley’s Store…, The workers and whoever ever owns it…they are always just sitting there I have never seen them doing anything else. And I’ve been there as soon as they opened all the way till they close. Doesn’t matter what time I pop in it’s always the same. I have given them so many chances and money. I must say there are not rude. BUT I love to give my money to anyone who gives there small shop some respect for themselves, there customer and community! I see them taking home donuts at the end of the day which is just the plain ones. I thought it was just because it’s there business, but honestly, I think it’s just so they can cut Corners at this point. She takes garbage bags of plain donuts home. You would think if they take all those donuts home then they have no choice but to make fresh ones every day, but they are never fresh!!!!! On a good note, their jelly donuts are not stale. Other than that. Do not go here. Go somewhere else or to another location! Their donuts, It’s OK to make them fresh every day.
