Just moved to Grants Pass, went to Subway expecting the same fresh food and excellent service I have always received in Fortuna. I have tried two locations in GP so far and they have been awful - empty meat bins, wilted lettuce, indifferent service. Fortuna always has plenty of fresh food, and the staff even knew our "usual" right down to the cookies. We miss them and their service very much.
The staff is very friendly. Everything is very organized and clean. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious. I enjoy coming here to pick up a quick lunch.

Pretty good ingredients as expected. This subway always has nice, polite, helpful employees. As opposed to some of the other subways in the area.
They did really great with my grandchildren sat there and took their orders if they didn't understand they would ask them politely what they said very good with kids.
Great service, good clean food. This subway operates the way it should, good management.
Super yummy, long wait though... They need more than one employee on sandwiches during lunchtimes.

Passed through on a road trip to get lunch. The staff was very nice to my sister and I, we were happy with our sandwiches and the bread was fresh. I can’t speak for other people’s experiences but we didn’t see any flies in this store and the food was made quickly.

Been a while since I was there but place looks good with new look. Sandwiches are always good because you tell them what you want.
Food was great and it was ready before the time listed in my email receipt.
It's subway. If you like it, you like it. If you don't, you don't. As far as various franchises go, this subway is a pretty darned good one. I like it.

My husband and I love this place, but recently we've been going later in the evening and this one employee with bright pink hair has always been rude to me, not my husband ( or the people infront of us) me...I use to work at a job where I was in the public eye all day every day so I would try to be a friendly, patient, and understanding customer to this woman and she still would treat me poorly...so I do still like this place, has good food, just try to skip out on the late shift for a last minute sandwich and you're good!

Under staffed always they have two people working with a bunch of online orders everytime I go there. Bread this last 2 times I have been there is hard im not sure what the shelf time is on it but what ever it is they pass it for sure. I was there at 6:30 with one person ahead of me it is now 7:00 just saying also flys were an issue an always seem to be out of meatballs

Fortuna California subway has by far the WORST staff I've ever seen in my life. They are absolutely unprofessional, extremely rude, never ever pleasant to deal with, orders are consistently late. Horrible experience 99% of the time
Me and my client came in today for food, we waited like everybody else, two of the workers were rude as hell to me and my cleint who elderly lady and talk very loud or hear very well. One of the workers was muttering rude things under her breath and the other with bright pink colored hair rolled her eyes and was very rude at joke my cleint made towards me.other then that out food was well done and what we ordered the customer service on the hand needs some work.
This Subway in particular, not reflective of all, is TERRIBLE. I have tried to give 2nd, 4th, and 5th chances, but they are ALWAYS late on timing. I don't mean two minutes either. Like 35 or 45 minutes late. I have only once recieved a completely accurate order. Today, 30 minutes late. Completely unacceptable.
Was craving a SUB- so went to get my husband and I each one that we liked. Politely, I mentioned to the "sandwhich crew" that I was allergic to flour-gluten- and " could you put the spicy Italian meat lined up on either side and the veggies sandwiched between the meat?" (expecting to have to show them how I have adapted to eating my favorite fast food in the last 8 yrs of knowing I was allergic to GLUTEN. ( I refuse to give up my favorite "comfort fast food!") The crew told me that "we can't do that- the manager Sebrina won't allow us to fix a sandwich without the bread. You have to have it as a salad , all chopped up- and I will have to charge you the increased price for it being a salad'!!! I was angry and frustrated to tears- so went to Eureka's Subway the next day so that they could fix it for me the way I like. The Manager and staff at the FORTUNA SUBWAY are not polite or considerate of people's allergies or specific dietary needs! As a NURSE- I felt this wrong on SO MANY LEVELS!!! We won't go back there again!
Problem with mobile order as usual. Rude employees who are obviously lacking support.
Says they are closed and for my convenience I can drive like 150 mile to the next open location if I want some ( the recommended one being poorly run and maintained)
Pathetic Customer Service. Used a Coupon on a Chicken Bacon sandwich - Add Avocado. Lady took my coupon and charged me for bacon. When I asked she walked away.
This place has no idea how to make salads or subs. He put bacon on my sub and didn't even heat it up. Common sense is in short supply here.

After 30 minutes of waiting in line and going no where finally it’s almost my turn to have my sandwich made and then get thrown to the back burner as soon a door dash order pops up sick of the problems every time I go in to this place time is 7pm 9/15/21
First time I went there, they over charged me. Then the next time I went, got food poisoning so bad that I threw up right when I got home and was ill for days. It was an horrible experience. Staff also looked miserable to the point that I felt bad for them. After all that, I just plain stopped going to this Subway and instead go to Eureka, which has multiple Subways.
Dont order mobile, They marked my order ready for pickup, but when I got there they hadn't even started. no worries I said and sat to wait while they continued to help the guests in line. what really pissed me off is they continued to help people arriving after me, including another mobile order. I didnt get my order until an hour after I placed it, unacceptable.

Got 2 sandwiches bread toasted but meat and cheese was cold on both. Took it back they reheated it but only thing that got hot on it was the bread not the meat or cheese. Every time we’ve ordered in last couple month something was wrong. I see a lot of new faces in there. They need to be trained better. Honestly really disappointed.
This store needs a dedicated phone order person. If you're standing there in line, they make you wait while they make the phone orders. Usually several at a time.
I paid 45 for 2 sandwiches via door dash and my sandwich was literally squirting mustard when I bit into it. I paid for extra meat and my sandwich was flat like a pancake and the bread was hard as a rock. Not sure why when restaurants get orders from door dash they stop caring abt the quality of the food, they should know EXTRA FUNDS were paid and try harder. Last time Im ordering from this subway.
Poor customer service. Staff hardly acknowledge you exist. They make small talk about their personal lives, which I wish I didn’t have to hear and is not professional. Of course there’s no bathrooms for me to wash my hands before I eat my food.

Food is fine here. But the girl with acne has a very poor attitude. After a 6 hour road trip, my family showed up 30 mins before close and ordered two sandwiches. There were other people in line ahead and after us. My wife asked if we could eat in and the acne girl said they were closing soon, so my wife asked again, and acne girl said “ Like I said, I guess if you want but we’re closing soon”. After paying $18 for both sandwiches the acne girl turned to her colleague and said to him “they’re eating here, ugh” so my wife opted for takeout. Not the best attitude for someone working in retail. Hence my 1 star rating for service. The young man handled the situation better and just let acne girl vent. She needs a personality tune up or just find a new job.
I only come here because it's the only location nearby, but I am seriously considering never coming back. As a busy mom, I depend on schedules a lot. I have ordered my meal ahead via the app numerous times and I have been so thankful to do so because I come when it's very busy and don't have to wait in line. Today was different. I came to the restaurant when the app told me my meal was ready for pick-up. Upon arrival, I stood in the express lane and waited for my turn. I was not greeted. I was not even acknowledged. Instead, this group of staff namely Linda John and Faith were more concerned with making jokes amongst themselves than helping customers. I had to wait a longer time than ever and when someone finally came to the register, I was told they hadn't even started my order. When I told them the app said otherwise, Linda asked John for direction and he just shrugged. No one apologized. No one took accountability. I waited longer than any time before and it wasn't even b u s y. So rude. Unacceptable.
Tried to go get lunch here yesterday. The girl at the register yelled at us that they required mask. My husband and I walked out...not really because they require mask but because of the tone in the girls voice. She could have been more polite, instead she lost 2 customers for subway. Also if the manager is going to reply with something about it being store policy to wear mask I get it, but that isn't what I'm reviewing about. Take care.
They always find a way to mess up my sandwiches, the bread is always wrong or they don’t add what I asked for over the app. I would understand if they were out but they never contact me to ask for a substitute nor do they give me a heads up when I pick up my order. My last order they substituted my meat with a pork based meat when my husband is a muslim, he cant have pork!! Then they lied to our faces saying it wasn’t pork. He wasn’t able to eat his sandwich after that and we had to just throw it out. Horrible customer service.
Saturday night and there was a line. I get that. But wow. One employee was as rude as others have pointed out. No initial eye contact, correcting me about the type of bread I wanted, scolding me when I told the next employee that I still wanted one more sandwich. "Helga the Horrible" chimed in with, "I ASKED you if you wanted another sandwich." I've complained to corporate in hopes that a regional manager can do some housecleaning. Seriously, people - this is SUBWAY, not the chow line at San Quentin. Otherwise Subway and its people are great, by and large.

The ladies working at this location are consistently rude. They fail to listen. They make sandwiches incorrectly. I have worked in a sandwich shop far busier than this one and it’s really not that hard. If I could give 0 stars I would. If you’re going to work in customer service you need to at least pretend to be a nice person and to like people. These girls have no business working here. 100% unsatisfied.
Went to get a sandwich they say there open till 8 o'clock got there at 750 and they tell me there closed I said aren't you open till 8? She said yes but they wouldn't serve me. If your not open till 8 then change the sign! All the chairs were already up and she was sweeping. If your not open till 8 then change the sign that's all I'm saying!
slowest sandwich shop i have ever been to in my entire life and it's literally fast food. employees slow and incompetent... it should take less than 5 seconds to put cheese on a sandwich, i watched a kid tinker with the cheese on my sandwich for almost 20 seconds one time.. online order system terrible, they will have a line 4+ customers long in store and make 4 online sandwiches right in front of you. I seriously can'y believe my eyes when i see this place... stuff slightly faster when manager is in but past few times i see her doing prep tasks in the back while there is huge line in store.. open earlier to handle prep work if you have to, fire the children if you have to, do SOMETHING.. I will be excited to see that place get bottomed out by any person of competence who opens a sandwich shop in fortuna if they don't put some effort in there. UNREAL!! DONT GO!
