I hadn't been to Denny's in a while so today we decided to stop at this location for lunch, the staff was very polite and super nice. Our server was great, she was very attentive to our needs and always smiling when she approached our table. The food was prepared just how we asked for, and the portions were just the right size, everything was good, we really enjoyed our lunch time.

I love Malcom, Victoria, and Terrell. Actually everyone who works here are fabulous. The food is excellent and the service is first rate. We are here every week without fail. I recommend them highly.

Last night we went there for dinner. The waitress who waited on our table was Kimberly. She was amazing and attentive to our table like we were at her home. From the time we walked in we noticed how friendly and courteous she was. She was really awesome to the kids as well. Privately, I had mentioned that it was our friends birthday and asked what she can do to make it special. She said she can bring a cake at the end of our meal. She also said she can put candles if I was able to go get some. I told her that's okay because I didn't want to make it obvious. Later on I noticed she went out. At the end I noticed when she bought the cake it had birthday candles. And she also had purchased a packet of glow bracelets for the kids. 😲Wow!! She actually had gone to the store to get candles and a toy for the kids!! She made our night special. Kimberly, sometimes the smallest things we do can mean a world of a difference to someone. Our friend was totally surprised and we were all really touched by the way Kimberly went out of her way to make our night special. I know that there are nights you will hear complaints and it isn't easy to do what you do... BUT KNOW THIS, you are AMAZING and really special. We really enjoyed our visit and are really thankful for having had the privilege to have you as our waitress. May God bless your for your good heart and positive attitude. Decided to give Denny’s another shot at a different location I expressed my concerns about my previous experience to my server (Jose Reyes) who assured me that If he were my server at the other location (who gave my children 7 beige crayons) that he would have given them each a Kaleidoscope of colors. Love this location! Get a good breakfast every week. Malcom and Victoria take great care of us. Coffee cup stays filled and food is hot. Terrell keeps a clean restaurant which is important to us.

We hadn't visited this location in ten years, and there have been many updates since then. Our waitress, Natasha, is amazing! She takes great care of us and everyone else, always with a positive attitude and great energy. I wish every waitress were as wonderful as she is. God bless her! The food is delicious and very clean.

I had the sweetest experience at Denny’s, and I just had to share it. I went in this week craving one simple thing — a strawberry milkshake. I’ve been in pain all week due to an accident, and honestly, that milkshake was the one small thing I was looking forward to. When I was told the machine was down, I won’t lie — I was disappointed. It felt like the one comfort I wanted just wasn’t going to happen. But what happened next truly made my entire day. Our waitress must have seen the disappointment on my face. Instead of just leaving it at that, he went above and beyond. He actually made me a strawberry milkshake by hand. And when he brought it to the table, it wasn’t just a milkshake — it was kindness in a cup. It was thoughtfulness. It was someone caring enough to make sure a customer left happy. In a week full of discomfort and challenges, that small act meant more than he probably realizes. It reminded me that little things matter. The food was what you'd expect from Dennys. The waiter was cool but seemed high. He was still very courteous and prompt for the most part. He stares a lot, which can make you uncomfortable, but I don't think he means any harm. The place could have been cleaner, especially since there were really no customers.

Best service and with lots of smiles. I love eating breakfast for dinner, and they're great at making breakfast foods. They use real blueberries, unlike the waffle house, which uses some strange square gum-like substance. Seriously, don't settle for anything other than real fruit! You deserve a great American breakfast with bacon. Never trust anyone who doesn't like bacon.

This review is only for the Night Shift my husband and I went two night different time period and both night were horrible the lady has a bad attitude and no matter to waitresses she gets frustrated because we try to tell her how we wanted our food since we don’t speak perfect English the first night they brought us the wrong food then got mad because we addressed that and last night we went with the kids and took so long to take our orders we waited for over 30 minutes for the to ask what we were drinking we arrived at 10:20didn’t get our food till maybe passed 11:20 and with hair on the eggs I mean they did took it off the check but they don’t know how to talk to people and have good customer service in the other hand day shift are always excellent even when they are busy they manage to make sure we are taking care of definitely sticking to the day shift people after this two experience

We ended up coming here because the dennys that we go to in garland off of norwest highway had closed. Overall, I was expecting the same experience, but our food was, unfortunately cold and the only thing that was lukewarm was the sausage patty, but i had a trip I had to head out on then I did not bother to make a big deal and just ate the food, but other people were making a deal out of it. Overall, when the food did come out, it had cheese on the hash browns and a jalapeno, which we did not ask for but we thought that is very kind of them only to find out that it was actually and upcharge of $1.29 per item (×4). I'm not sure if other dennys are different price wise. But I was very disappointed when I also did see, dad be cups of coffee we're $3.99 each as I do not remember paying that much when we went to the location that shut down. I will probably give it another try. In the far future, but it is not what I was used for years at our location we went to.

Went here last night after church service. The waitress gave all 6 of us the wrong food and tried to switch it over between us after it had been transferred to different people and breathed on by all (Mind you were in a Pandemic 🙄) I politely told her we did not want food that was breathed over it needed to be replaced. Needless to say the poor manager had to replace everyone of our plates because they were breathed on and given to The Wrong person not done correctly or cold when it was given to us !! My son was trying to salvage his by picking off mushrooms onions etc until he realized he had been given someone else’s order! Folks we’re in a pandemic please be careful out here. People are Dieing. We got to help each other stay alive. Needless to say she never apologized or came back to help us. They sent another waitress and I gladly tipped her very well for her time.

Around 6:15 pm April 16 2025 Sat down to order a chocolate shake to wind down after getting off work But I was only seated as another 20 minutes went by there were 3 other customers seated and served menues and drinks as I was never given a menu or even a glass of water and not even approached after being seated by the waiter I approached the waiter that I was here to order and wanted a chocolate shake for starters and went back to my booth only to observe him continuing to take orders from 4 other customers who were seated after I was as I waited feeling insulted as I realized I was ironically getting ignored and not getting served . This was extremely offensive and I left feeling insulted I was also here the day before (April 15 2025) around the same time and was rushed to pay and asked to leave when I was relaxing and was gonna order dessert But I left angry over how I was treated so rudely I don't think I'll ever return to this location and I don't other people to come to this location to unexpectedly get treated the way that I did and to think that I have dinned in at this location as loyal customer for almost 20 years

miserable experience, I regularly come in here after work and for the last 3 weeks it has been unbearable, the AC doesn't work so its 85 in the place, their primary server seems to have zero food safety training with 4 inch acrylic nails that constantly end up in food she is carrying. and later at night the manager Robert, constantly bugs me and other diners about his "great business" and flashes us some wad of cash to prove it, even when we make it clear we don't want to talk he still seems to hang around and bug our kids most of all, I will not come here with my family at night anymore because the man gives me and my wife, as well as our kids, the creeps. The food is fantastic, and most of the servers, especially "Kim" is really nice, and seems to have a great rapport with all the customers. please talk with these employees because the place feels creepy at night and I don't want nails that just touched a ton of money to be dipped in my food because the server thinks its somehow fashionable

I advise against ordering or taking deliveries from this location. The staff does not seem to understand how delivery apps work, resulting in customers not receiving their food. This leads to wasted time and money. The management appears to be incompetent.

Old bald guy in the front desk needs to be fired. Had an attitude for no reason, we gave him the ticket to pay and proceeds to say “this ticket doesn’t work, go get your ticket” when that’s his job. Worst attitude and service we got from him.

Understaffed. No one at the counter to cash people out or to tell how long of a wait there was. Was a line for both when we arrived. While waiting, we saw a cook placing cold fried eggs in the microwave also. Not a very inviting place overall.

The hash browns were burned and you can see the oil/butter was burnt because it had black running out from them. My husbands sausage was also burnt, the cook who was there 03/17/24 at 2:30pm needs to be trained on how to cook the food and not send it burned to the table. Also it is very uncomfortable when they start mopping and you are eating because there is a foul smell coming from the mop.

Nastiest Denny's I been at, This was Saturday, October 12, between 9:30 & 10:45 am The table they give us was dirty, very sticky, the seat was dirty with crumbs all over it, the menus were dirty, ketchup all over the cover and greasy inside, as if they spilled oil or melted butter in it, the coffee cup was dirty on the outside, like if they spilled the coffee all over and brought it to the table all dirty. The guys on the table in front of us found something nasty in their food, not sure what it was, but the waitres kept asking "are you serious, are you serious??? Instead of removing the plate from the table right away, and then another lady, im assuming the manager, comes to their table and she says sorry, like a protocol sorry, not a real sorry. Will never be back to this nasty location, but will call health department on them 👍

Went to eat breakfast. There was no coffee made, had to wait 15 minutes to get our order taken. Once we got our food it was cold. The waitress and the cook went out to smoke didn't check on us if we needed a refill for our drinks. They only took cash no card and the place was a mess. During our conversation with the waitress she said that she was the last one to clean the coffee pot and that was on Sunday, it Thursday morning. Why are they not cleaning the coffee pot daily.

There were maybe 4 tables total of customers and we heard each one of them complain about under cooked food being served. Our food took forever and the chicken stripes were not cooked thoroughly and my sides were luke warm at best. Some customers walked out they got tired of waiting. A female waitress was yelling in the kitchen for all to hear about timing and quality of food. I only saw three people total working and no management. I felt bad for the three employees they were trying but they clearly needed more help and a better cook and a manager to smooth over the complaints.

Jacqueline was my server, took more than 35 mins to get are food, two people came in after us was seated and given there food within 15 minutes , not once she came over to ask if needed more drinks or say why there running late and after getting are food 35 minutes later ( still no silverware) I ask for butter it took another 15 minutes to bring it n it was in a to go box , after that didn’t see her no more, n ther other waitress was so frustrated she was hitting the counter asks for a to go box. Had an attitude, as us leaving 10 minutes later then they come …I donot recommend this Denny’s at all😤

Server Jacqueline was never there, she did not give us silverware to eat our food we had to get up and get them ourselves. The food took forever to come out and the bacon was underdone. We had to wait about 15 mins after being done eating to ask for to go plates and we ended up getting tired of waiting and went to pay instead, leaving our left overs there. She would show up to other tables just not ours. I did not enjoy any of my food due to waiting for butter that took to long to come and only one refill of my daughters orange juice, none of the others. One of the worst service experiences I’ve had!

Guy at the register never even made eye contact. Paid 50$ for breakfast which I thought was overpriced, and to top it off I didn’t receive a receipt at all. Suspect. I get home and realize they didn’t even give me my whole order. Do Not Eat Here

Haven't been in 3 years, never will again. Around 9 pm, 1 other table and 4 or 5 employees. Took over 30 minutes for kid's mac and chees, and a burger. A cold, wet, barely cooked, smashed patty type substance . Never got a coffee refill, even after complaining about it. Then, surprise, they can't make change for $100, so after 15 minutes, they finally let us go with the other $12 I had. No professionalism, pride in their work, or respect whatsoever. And just having hip replacement last week, one of the bumbling employees parked their hoopty in the handicap space, no plaquard, no plate. If this is our future, kill me now.

Me and my boyfriend got here around 11:00 PM; everything else was closed so we decided to stop by. Coming in, it was freezing cold inside, to the point where I was shaking in a long sleeve shirt. We ordered and waited for over an hour to get our food. My boyfriend ended up getting food poisoning from the classic sampler, and my hash browns and bacon were burnt. Everything had an off taste and it was horrible. The service was horrible, due to the complete lack of communication. No one said a word to us about the wait or where our food was, from the time we ordered to an hour later when we got our food. There were also only about 4 tables being served, and at least 3 waitresses. There was absolutely no reason for it to take that long, just to come out inedible anyway. When I asked for a refund on my meal, we were given the military discount which took 3$ off of my 14$ meal. Ridiculous. Definitely won’t be coming here again. The wait wouldn’t have been a big deal at all, if it had simply been communicated. It’s the fact that we were completely ignored instead.
