Super friendly and kind staff. The two ladies were very hospitable! They had many options for both first and second courses. I tried their artichoke ravioli and their Ligurian-style rabbit. But the pesto was something out of this world 😍 Very nice, welcoming, and quiet atmosphere. A bit far for Genoese people, but worth it! They also have a large garden that they open in the summer and you can eat there, but since it was November, we didn't get to see it! We will definitely be back, to try the fried frogs that I didn't get to try 🤪 A lovely discovery.
Almost hidden, but that could be a plus. Welcoming place, authentic, quality food. Various options, the signature dish being game and Genoese-style snails. The service is efficient, friendly, and professional.
A delicious surprise just outside Genoa! Everything is delicious, but you absolutely must try the fried panissa, the pesto lasagna, and the buridda. Another important detail: they're dog-friendly too!

This is my first time at this restaurant, and I have to say it's excellent. I ate typical Ligurian dishes. Mixed appetizers with vegetable pies, traditional first courses like pansoti with walnut sauce, and ravioli with meat sauce. For my second course, I tried a braised beef and, to finish, a chocolate and caramelized apple cake. As mentioned, the dishes are very good; they also serve snails and game like hare, deer, and wild boar.
A restaurant I've tried and loved before, but even more so today...I had lunch there for a happy reunion with high school friends from 40 years ago, and both the atmosphere and the food were truly exceptional...a trio of first courses and several second courses, including an Oscar-winning braised beef!!! Add to that the courtesy and friendliness of the staff, and we had an exceptional day!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Da U Vittorio trattoria ..via Bavari 1 ..Genoa. Opens at 12..it is a classic Genoese trattoria surrounded by greenery..where food, kindness, and a family-run welcome mix with a very welcoming atmosphere with a beautiful and spacious well-kept internal room, outdoor tables placed under a beautiful veranda with a canopy and also games for families with children. Among the dishes you will find...Ligurian-style snails, fried frogs, trio of first courses, stew, scallops, appetizers, battered frogs, nere al verde, roast in chestnut sauce, lasagna with pesto, cured meats, ravioli with braised meat sauce, ravioli with sausage sauce, and many other delicious sweet dishes. What more can I say, whether as a couple or a group, this is the perfect place to spend a slightly different day away from the city.
I pop in here every now and then for lunch after work. The pesto and ragù are definitely homemade, and they're very good, but I think the roast sauce is superb. The desserts, especially the chocolate and apple cake, are also worth a visit! The price of the set menu is excellent considering how much you eat and how you eat it. The location is very homey, but I like it and prefer places that reflect a true trattoria/osteria. There's a large courtyard with a covered area where lunch is pleasant. If you don't like cats, it's best to stay inside because they roam freely outside. Overall, it's always a great experience for me.
Excellent trattoria in a rustic setting with a variety of dishes, fast service, and a good value. The staff is courteous and attentive to customer needs; for example, bread is brought before you even ask for it. Everything is homemade except the bread, especially the pasta and the excellent desserts. The menu is fixed only on certain holidays, such as Easter Monday, April 25th, and May 1st, to speed up kitchen work.
From the service to the drinks and lastly the food, one word! Magnifico! This is the genuine ligurian home cooking cuisine. The staff is just lovely, inviting and friendly. It's their establishment and you can tell. The food is spot on, and you'll be craving for more! In sum, just come with spare time and enjoy a great meal in a homely establishment, with a great staff. Genoa's supreme and superb beauty mirrors its gastronomy. Countless focaccerie and trattorias delight Genoese and tourists alike with their generous and high-quality offerings. My favorite place is located 10 km from the center, on the Val Bisagno provincial road, where Genoa ends and, after a wide curve, a rugged gorge begins. In the small parking lot that intersects the SS 45, at the base of the cliff that runs alongside it, lies a small natural nymphaeum, dripping and dewy, with walls of moss and other aquatic plants, where black dragonflies dance happily. In this natural setting lies the trattoria "U Vittorio," a small, solid but graceful building, whose interior is in a "genuine rustic" style. I first came here with my cousin in 1983. We've returned many times, the last time at the end of August 2024, to visit her as if she were an elderly aunt, in the spirit of Marcel Proust in his masterpiece "In Search of Lost Time." Her cuisine is authentically Ligurian, without frills or frills. At the helm is the resolute chef Maria Manassero, daughter of Vittorio, assisted in the dining room by her husband Mario. The menu tempted us with Ligurian-style snails, fried frogs, stewed wild boar, Ligurian-style rabbit, fried panissa, and more. In the end, we opted for the delicate pesto lasagnette, pansoti with walnut sauce, a succulent braised meat, and a buridda that would have satisfied even Nettuno, all washed down with a lovely Barbera with Crétina grapes. A small restaurant just steps from the Struppa neighborhood. I've only been there for lunch, so I'll start by saying that my review will be based on that experience. The restaurant offers extremely fast service: you can order beforehand, and once your dishes arrive, they're brought immediately, allowing you to enjoy a complete lunch consisting of a first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee, all in just about half an hour. Again, I don't know if this type of service is available everywhere or only at nearby businesses, but it's important to highlight this truly excellent initiative. The other strong point of this service is the price: for just over €10 per person, each diner can easily fill up with a first course, second course, side dish, coffee, and a small bottle of water. PS: Beware of cat allergies, as there are 3-4 cats on the premises that roam freely among the tables.
A change of direction brought me to U Vittorio, a pleasant trattoria on the border of Genoa. We were warmly welcomed by the owner-chef, who explained the menu and off-menu items to us. We ordered and began an excellent sequence of perfectly cooked dishes: soft and crispy panizze, ravioli with braised meat, fragrant tripe with green sauce, and amazing Ligurian-style snails in mushroom sauce. The usual desserts and the house wine were pleasing to the palate. The price was fair. Before leaving, a professional and friendly chat followed with an explanation of the dishes on the menu, which I will certainly try soon. I have tried again several times, but the last one I am sorry was disappointing and I am taking away a star due to some shortcomings in the kitchen.

Buongiorno, vedo che io e mia moglie siamo nominati per cognome con una serie di parole poco edificanti nella risposta ad una recensione che non abbiamo fatto. Preciso che ne io ne mia moglie abbiamo mai fatto una recesione a questo esercizio prima di adesso (se altri al mio tavolo non erano soddisfatti non vedo perchè insultare me e mia moglie). Sono decisamente offeso da questo atto diffamatorio e dalla palese violazione della privacy e sto procedendo ad una azione legale risarcitoria per le violazioni e per i reati ascritti (art. 595 comma 3 C.P.; art. 5 e 6 del GDPR) Mi dispiace davvero perchè erano anni che frequentavo con soddisfazione il ristorante. Preciso che non ho mai autorizzato i gestori del ristorante a trattare i miei dati anagrafici
An embarrassing lunch: waitress, cook, sommelier...all hands on deck. Questionable quality, small portions, and kindness and courtesy were neglected. The bill at the end was the icing on the cake. First and last experience.
