We had a GREAT time in this venue that was built in the 1800's. It has a relaxing atmosphere with Historic & Rustic Decor. The Food was VERY good! The prices were reasonable & the waitress was EXCELLENT! The owner was kind enough 2 give us a tour of the place & spend time telling us about the history of the building. He went above & beyond!

Best place in the area for fish fry - and there are a lot of good places. This Friday I had their special plate of broiled haddock stuffed with crab meat - was fantastic!! Friendly, fun staff and owner Brad usually there.

Dive bar atmosphere with surprisingly good food. Summer salads are prepared in house, not dumped out of a bag. Decent tap list, good prices, friendly staff. A favorite.

A wonderful, warm, welcoming atmosphere with delicious food at decent prices. Good portions and very tasty. The bar and building has an old time atmosphere. It can be crowded at times, but was mostly empty when I was there for a late lunch. Often visited by the locals. I highly recommend eating here.

Had a very good Friday night fish fry. The side of Mac-n-Cheese was also very tasty. The in house dessert of tapioca pudding was super delicious. I plan to return for the Saturday Prime rib. Very friendly.

Fun, lively atmosphere. Live band, dance floor, classic American bar but with an Irish flair make this an awesome place. Sort-of hard to hear because it's really noisy, but very fun nonetheless. Lots of beer on tap with good variety. Service was solid, but nothing to write home about. Burgers were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Wings packed serious heat (I like a kick, too), but maintained a fun flavor, which isn't easy to do. Kudos to the chefs! Anyways, pretty good overall, fun for a time with friends.

Jan 2024: we've only been here a few times. Normally we are watching and listening to music. The food is great from the dishes we've had. The boneless chicken wings are fantastic. Food appears to be very fresh. Prices are reasonable. The parking is good, but when there's a band you may want to get there early. The bar is usually very busy. Other areas of the building are opened up as needed. The service can be a little bit slow, so be prepared to spend some time. However. The servers are fantastic. They're just busy. We'll be back.

Went to dinner with some friends And we had the prime rib & salad bar. This is another one of those places that are Down to earth, and easy to appreciate their simplicity. All the food was great And the waitress was polite. As well their nice carver at the food station.

Great place and even better service. As soon as i walked in the door, i was greeted like i was a long-lost friend. They called me Don the whole time i was there. I got to know their names also. Very personal and great food. I ate lunch and dinner there. Great band and sound setup.

Great place a down home feeling. Everything is really good from staff to food the only thing that would be better is if the dance floor was bigger. They get in awesome bands but hard to find room to dance. But I wouldn't let that stop me from recommending this place to people. Oh wait... I have already.

I happened on this place while returning from a motorcycle trip and decided to give it a try...that was a good call! The waitress was friendly and quick to get us seated and set up, the menu had some great options, I had the fish fry, which was very good, very nice portion size and came out very quickly! We didn't get to check out the pub side on this trip, but we will make a point of going back to try it out on a trip sometime soon!

NICE PLACE!! I was here to see the Stan Premo Project, crank out amazing music, on Halloween!! I didn't order any food, but people told me the food is excellent!! I'll definitely be back!!

Food was very good. Prices are reasonable. Waitress was very good but overwhelmed. She was waiting on between 8 and 10 tables by herself. Management needs to have a second waitress. We will return.

Great local restaurant/bar. Super casual, not fancy. Food is good and servers work hard and take good care of you. Fish fry is good.

Hadn't been for dinner in years...will definitely go more often ... waitress had good energy, was knowledgeable and efficient-fried seafood plate was a bit overdone for my liking, but good, garlic mash with beefy gravy very good..but the ribs..oh my --Fantastic!!! Smoked and moist, tender as could be No dessert or drinks ordered Place older sure of town watering hole and hotel so it was full of character and furnished as such (could use a window and frequently touched surface cleaning-light switches, doorways) but plenty of seating and parking...didn't see accessible ramp; but there used to be one out back (blocked by cars today) Nice job all!!

My husband makes ordering wings from here. They always been good he's never had any complaints. And he loves his wings. Cooked and seasoned good.

Dining room is cold. FireoFire not working. We come most every Friday night. Huge senior crowd, many eating wearing their jackets. 😣

They weren't busy we waited 40 minutes for wings and fries and our wings were cold when we received them , talked to the waitress and she said she didn't know what happened !!! And she charged us for everything

I always make it a point to get dinner there, till now, a private party left a meat u that was not used and it was taken back to the kitchen. I will not stop there again

My experience is seeing the hateful picture on your window on facebook. Promoting violence is not a good look.

The interior needs a lot of updating. The last few times I have eaten there it has not been good. Once this past summer for lunch at the bar and recently for a catered event. Greens were crunchy and had a weird flavor, lemon aid tasted like the mix was old, fruit salad out of a jar. It was disappointing.

Got a chicken sandwich with fries. The fries have absolutely no flavor. No salt on them or anything. The sandwich came on a soggy bun, no sauce, one single slice of tomato, wilted lettuce and the chicken was extremely rubbery. I will never be getting food from them again.

Had an awful experience a where my entire party came down with Stomach issues. Madison county made them close up and clean the entire place. Needless to say we’ve never been back. Hopefully your experience will be better

After fishing all day with my son and his wife , they took me to the hotel for dinner .started out a little weird , seated in a dark side room off the bar , the waitress/ bartender took our drink order , after a bit then our order, appetizers came out . Fried ravioli were very crispy quite a bit over done , next after waiting an hour my sons and wife’s dinners came , mine and my husbands was 10 minutes later . Philly cheese steak , drier than barn wood covered in cheese whiz , horrible…… 2 hamburgers with raw onions, harder than a bowling ball One came with no onions……horrible! Rack ribs , my son said they weren’t bad . We had to keep getting our own drinks ! I don’t know who the cook was on this day , but they need some lessons , for over 100.00 I wouldn’t go back ,,,,,,,,,
