The food was absolutely delicious and fresh! The pani puri had the perfect level of spice and the chaat was on another level. The sandwiches were good too, but I highly recommend trying the pani puri, it’s a must🤍🤍 and the staff is amazing as per usual.

We ordered Paav Bhaji, Bombay Veg Sandwich, and soup, and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic and fresh, just like back home. We enjoyed the food so much that we ended up reordering everything again. On top of that, the owner and service staff were very polite, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving tasty Indian street food and comfort dishes. Definitely coming back!

This place has it all clean, fresh, and absolutely delicious! I loved the menu, and the music even brought back so many childhood memories for my husband. The dosas were perfectly crispy yet soft and mouthwatering. The samosa chaat had just the right amount of spice, and the pav bhaji was incredible. Thank you!!

Very friendly place, we had the sampler tray which we were able to try different things. It was vegan so that’s was perfect. It also came with a small desert. We had samosa chat for appetizer, also good. If you’re undecided on what getting def try this.

Always love their parathas, dahi puri, pani puri, vada pao, Mango Lassi, aam Panna, dosa, chole bhature, mithai, veg noodles, achari falafel. Amazing/friendly staff and owner. I always say other restaurants should learn from mithaas how to serve food with love. We are enjoying their food from the time they opened this location. We usually go for lunch or evening snacks, recently we went in for brunch, shop doors were open before 11am, you can enter and wait but they start taking orders at 11am. After waiting for 30mins to order, we thought now we had to wait more for food, but they were quick. The first item came out in less than 5 mins, and the rest kept coming in with good timing.

If you are looking for a vegetarian place to eat out then I would highly recommend this place. The food are packed with flavors and serving quantities are also generous. Loved their chana bhatora. They serve a pickle on the side which kind of boosts the flavor of this dish. Don’t forget to ask your green and tamarind chutney on the side. It totally complements the dish. I was not very satisfied with their falooda. It was below average and quite ordinary.

This place is incredibly delicious! We went for Mother's day brunch on a very gloomy and rainy day. We ordered channa batura, Raj Kachori, aloo piyaz paratha, Aam Panna, mango lassi, masala chai. Also got injeer halwa and some brown halwa to go. Both were equally delicious. The service is quick and pleasant. The place is very clean. Would definitely recommend everyone to go if you are in Hicksville.

I’m an American born Bengali gal and my parents have been missing that street food experience that they had in their country. I had a few every now and then but Always sensed they missed it. Went here cuz of my uncle and saw such a childlike glee to my parents so i was ecstatic for them. I couldn’t eat much. If you like spicy food… DUDE the spice level in this establishment is quite spicy indeed with awesome flavor. AND the service made me feel good too. The owner greeted us and even made sure everything is okay. Such a sweet and kind gentleman. Definitely recommend this spot! For the food, and hospitality!

Awesome! I was totally impressed by the quality and quantity of the food at this restaurant. We were few of us ordered varieties of food and got to taste everything and it was delicious and we did not have to wait too long (although I’ve heard there is an insane crowd at this place during evenings). We really dislike this place. We traveled from Stamford and ended up waiting an hour for our food. They missed our order, and when we reminded them they only brought half of it. We had to ask again, and the whole experience was terrible. The chole bhatura and khasta kachori were nightmares. We wasted our 40 dollars. It’s the most reckless service I’ve seen in this country. My whole day is wasted because of such tasteless stale food. Chola bhature were cold. The food was genuinely bad in taste and served cold. Edit: I’m baffled you still have glowing reviews—because of that we wasted an entire day. We came on 12/24/2025 at 8 pm, table 10, and you completely flopped. You missed our order, then after an hour served us cold food, and instead of a simple apology you have the nerve to argue with us. This is unacceptable.
