We love this place! Food is excellent and inexpensive, staff is very friendly and accomodating. Only suggestion would be to add a changing table for little ones!

I've lived in Hilton for several years and neighboring towns even longer. I was persuaded by my wife and kids to go to the diner for breakfast one day and I finally caved. Happy to say I was more than pleasantly surprised. The food was typical diner food but tasted great. Portions were very large and prices more than fair. Nice little gem tucked away near other shops.

Always a good experience. Great food, with great service, at a reasonable price. Reliable.

A few of us go there for lunch ever Saturday, we can also order breakfast meal if we wish. There are waitress's who are the most curtiest, caring young ladies out of any other diner I have been to. Your meals will always be the best as well.

Love, love this place. My husband and I make sure we have our breakfast here at least 3 times a month. Employees are wonderful, it's always clean and never had an issue with the food.

Had a very tasty turkey club made with real turkey. Coated fries were good. Very friendly waitress. However this place only takes cash..has an atm...but I have to plan ahead when going as I never carry cash.

Have loved this restaurant from when I was a kid. It is a comfort spot and brings the best memories back for me. The food is always delicious and I come back when I come home for a visit.

My son’s soccer team went there on a Saturday without notifying them we were coming. They went out of their way to make sure we were all happy. Two of the boys on the team (one is my son) have food allergies; when we told the waitress, the manager came out and talked to both myself and the other Mom about the allergies. Top-notch service!

Great atmosphere and very friendly service. The owner is active in the business and I could hear him having conversations with well known customers and first time visitors. The food was very good and the menu had a great variety. I only wish I lived closer to be able to find there more often.

Food is great here. The portions are big which I like. My go to spot especially for breakfast. One time i had left my hot chocolate and at the time I realized it my husband took the car to work. One of the servers there drove it to me! She was so sweet. Thank you.

If you're looking for a nice home town dinner the Hilton Family Diner is a great choice. The food is across the board great quality and the service is fast and friendly. They are all cash but an ATM is available on site.

Love this place. Its been a long time since I've been here but its so worth it. Food is amazingly delicious and the staff is so freaking outstanding, always making sure you have a fresh cup of hot coffee. Prices are great as well. With tip my total came out to 16 bucks. You can't find that anywhere for the service and great food.

We've been going there since we moved to Hilton in 2009. One of our favorite places to get a great home cooked meal. Food has always been delicious and portions are here great. The kids meal portions are big enough for an adult. And price is way cheaper than going to some over price small meal,chain place. As long as the food stays consistently delicious we will continue to go there.

I had the big breakfast. Kids had the BLT and wife had the hot roast beef. Food was hot, taste was amazing, and price was good. Service was great. A lot of food, you won't leave hungry and will have leftovers. Highly recommend.

My friend took me out here. Our waitress was super friendly and very funny. She told us the soup of the day was beef barley soup and I was hooked. It was excellent. Thick and lots of barley. So tasty. If I lived closer I would make this a go-to spot for sure.

This diner has been family-owned for decades. Traditional homemade fare. Our meals have always been very well prepared and tasty. The wait staff is friendly and efficient.

Oh my gosh . A real diner . The waitress working the bar stool seating couldn't have served me more graciously I took a chance and ordered the daily special which happened to be swordfish. I'm think to my self , did I make a mistake nope I didn't I couldn't have made better at home . But most importantly was the beautiful obviously Italian waitress kind of over seeing everything. Then another smiling face walks by and she mentioned that's her daughter . It just felt like home Thanks you guys

Hilton family reasurant is a in the heart of Hilton ny. Off route 259. SATURDAY NIGHT CRUSE . I come here and have my dinner with Vintage Cars in the parking lot. I look at all the different cars from different times and then enjoy my yummy food. Great place to come when you are having breakfast, lunch or dinner. I always get the same Great tasting food. Great job to the owners for keeping the place clean and organized. My meal hit the spot, I ordered a Greek omelet and is was delicious. Good job to the chef. I would like to thank the waitress. She was very pleasant and got my needs met with a smile. Keep up the great work. Gerry

I've been craving a good sausage gravy, and what I got far exceeded what I was looking for. It's so peppery, and so smooth. The biscuits were nice and soft too, but nowhere near the dreaded sogginess I can't stand. Everyone was friendly and the entire restaurant was clean. Can't wait to come back!

Friendly. Can't be shy though or you might pay full price for a half full milkshake. But you get a real milkshake. After I asked about the milkshake they gladly took it back and filled it up. We had a laugh. It is always delicious and if you visit Hilton you should get some dinner there!

A busy Friday night, but they were great about getting people in fairly quickly. Food was good, generous portions. Staff was very nice.

We had a very nice lunch, very accommodating and super friendly staff. The prices and portions are excellent. ATM is located on site but they could benefit with getting some merchant services in there with mobile pay options.

The food and service is very good, aside from the eggs were a bit underdone. BUT the whole time we were there the door we sat near was swinging and not quietly, definitely threw off the experience a bit. If you go there I recommend sitting in the back where my family usally goes aside from this time, avoid the middle.

Only people in dining room at 2 in the afternoon when they decided to vacuum around us. Response was "sorry I didn't know you were eating!. The food was okay. This was on a Tuesday, unfortunately my husband's hash browns were cooked last Sunday. Not edible.

Standard diner. There wasn’t anything great about it but not anything super wrong with it either.

I personally think it's overpriced. I think all restaurants need to offer keto, or low carb options, not everybody wants to eat carb laden foods, and doesn't want to pay full price without getting everything included. $30 for me and my daughter to have breakfast. She had pancakes and eggs I had an omelette. I could have made both at home, for about $6.

Weve eaten at the Hilton Family Restaurant many times over the years, and it's a favorite dining spot for the area. The atmosphere here is pleasant, it's a fairly large restaurant, there's plenty of free parking, the servers are friendly, and the service is great. Probably the one not so good thing that we've noticed during all that time is that they're consistently inconsistent with the food quality here. We've ordered a meal one week and had it turn out delicious, only to order the same identical meal the following week and have it not be worth the money it cost, and it may have at least something to do with who's working in the kitchen at the time. The restaurant wasn't very busy during our recent visit, and there was no waiting for a booth. We ordered a full stack of (3) pancakes and a full stack of (3) French toast with 3 sausages. The French toast was good but not spectacular. The pancakes were just average size, not very large, and not very tasty. However, our server was pleasant and very good. Our two meals, with just one beverage added, totaled $23.70 before tax. That cost seems a bit high for just breakfast for two based on the quality and portion sizes that we received.

Food is generally good. Service is excellent. But PLEASE...cook your potatoes! There's nothing worse than biting into a raw potato.

My order was for the chicken cutlet sandwich, plus another order which was fine. Mine was the cutlet sandwich, which was not cooked. The breading was fine, but the chicken was crunchy and not even close to being cooked! Very disappointing!

Sat at the bar on a busy Sunday morning, which is of course, understandably peak time. My server Jill was extremely rushed and when I was going to inform her of my order she blunts out rudely how busy she was and asked very impatiently for my order. Food was decent at best. I even informed the lady at the cashier of how I felt and she didn't seem to care, just wanted to busily cash me out. I know I can head over to Long Pond Family Restaurant or Olympia with no issues, even in a busy peak time. My server was extremely accommodating to the regulars beside me at the bar though. I won't be back, but do wish this diner the best of success for future.

Ladies room was out of toilet paper and not very clean. Took 40 minutes to get breakfast for two with no explanation or apologies. Server was nice but not attentive. Food was average but not Worth the price.

Wayy over priced. Quality of food is poor. Service is good..I think management needs to re think what there doing. 2 eggs 2 pieces of bacon. My 8 year old had two eggs and toast with chocolate milk. Almost 30$. Never again. It used to be a food place to eat with your family.

Have eaten there several times in the past 30 years, chicken and biscuits are the best I’ve had anywhere. The only problem I have is their menu has never changed. They do have different specials every day. I have ask the waitress about getting a lunch special of half a sandwich with soup or salad and I was told the owner won’t do it. It would be nice to have a spinach salad on the menu also. In general the food is good it just needs to change up the menu.

The food is okay. I was queasy after my last visit. My server was great, but there was another server complaining loudly the whole time we were there, I'd say I know way too much personal information now. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon. It has potential to be a great diner, and definitely bring cash. No credit cards accepted.

This place can't keep their rules straight. They have a policy in their menu that I adhered too saying soft drinks only have one free refill. The past three or four times I went here our server OFFERED to refill our drinks past the limit, no questions asked. Nor did I ask them since of my understanding of the rule. The fact that this happened with such frequency led me to believe the rule had changed. When I went there last I asked for another refill (since they fill the cup half full of ice to begin with to minimize the amount of drink you get, even when I specifically request lite ice) I was struck with a bill for two soft drinks, an additional $4 dollars. I made sure to not even drink out of it at this point. When I contested this, our server explained the rule that I in turn explained the past SEVERAL times had not been adhered to, she retorted in what was my opinion a rude manner that whoever served us the several past times was doing their job wrong. I would also like to add that she at no point mentioned that getting my "refill" would have incurred an additional charge, rather entrapping me into a charge. She then said she would correct it and stormed to the cash out desk and was snippy, rude and aggressive with the young lady managing the front desk/check out, snatching the check out of the young lady's hands and aggressively telling her how to use the computer to correct the issue in a snippy tone. I felt very bad for the young lady since none of this was her fault by any means, and I wasn't particularly in a good mood over this nonsense either but I know it wasn't the young lady's fault. The fact this restaurant couldn't keep their rules enforcement straight for many visits over a multi month period over something virtually no other restaurant, chain or otherwise takes issue with (that being soft drink refills) and blames and belittles their employees for it is a hypocrisy I cannot comfortably overlook. I don't know whose family this restaurant is but based on how they treat their employees and try to jib the customers, it is definitely not a family I want to be apart of. Hilton has many fine dining establishments within it and the surrounding areas such as Tavern 19 or Krony's that are much more deserving of your business.

I had lunch there the waitress I had was pleasant but the others especially the checkout lady was nasty. First of all it's a cash-only business I didn't see any signs she said it was in the menu. I don't know about other people but I'm not searching the menu to see if it says cash only. They do have an ATM machine fortunately I able to get money from that machine. My personal opinion the place sucks!!!!

Last time I will ever go to eat there for breakfast 45 minutes to wait for a raw omelette and undercooked bacon when I asked server why it was taking so long to no she said we are very busy... well if your so busy why did people who came in later then us get served before us! When I told the waitress who was very snippy from the get go my omelet was undercooked she said she was sorry so that’s the point where you take it off the Bill worst Resturant ever I for now on will go to the Long Pond family diner we’re it takes 5 minutes and the food is cooked!

I know plenty of small town diners that don't use powder or instant mixes for their meals, but because of the price and how okay the food is, I went in on a Sunday at 11:50. Of course it was packed, but there were people running around aloof and very unprofessional and rude. We were standing among the crowded tables for 10 minutes before the table was cleaned as multiple people were leaving. we sat down and the waitresses tip was still at the table, and when I asked for a highchair the hostess took the tip and walked away after getting the chair for my daughter. it took us 5 minutes to decide on what to order but no waitress and by this time plenty of people had left and it was much quieter. We placed our order and waited until 12:30 before my daughter who was hungry started crying and I just got up and left. All I got was water and a reminder to never come back. The cashier obviously didn't care either.

Tried this place for 3rd time and there is always some kind of issue. Some other company can come into town and put them under. Can't use a card to pay didn't give me both bags of food. Implied that both orders were in one bag when they were not. Drove back home to realize they were not. I'm just done with this whole mom and pop horrible ran diner. Enjoy the $15 dollar tip for take out cause I will NEVER be going back

The service today was terrible. It took over 20 min to get our food. Then our waitress never brought the syrup for the cinnamon french toast. We actually got up and found it on our own. She also said she would bring us water and only did after we were done eating. We are from out of town and will not be coming back if we are in the area again. The food was average at best.

Some of the worst food, I have ever had. Bland, poorly seasoned or complete lack of seasoning!! If I had no taste buds it might be delicious, but I do and it's terrible and disappointing!! French fries are always soaked and gross, sauce tastes like it's from a can, burgers are tasteless and always cooked wrong, pasta is always a gooey overcooked mess. It's sad that such an important restaurant in Hilton is just letting the quality drop significantly!!

This disrespect made us not order from them tonight or ever again in the future. Sorry for any other workers that may have a better attitude.

Ordered drinks that was far enough for me, they tasted like dirty dish water can only imagine how the food is, place was dirty, cash only with a broken ATM. The waitress was nice everyone else was rude not sure I would let my dog go there. Hope they put my 11.00 I was charged for 2 sips of a drink into cleaning supplies. Do yourself a favor drive a bit farther for a real restaurant the are out there.

I love diner food and live less than a mile from here and have only been 2 or 3 times in the almost 10 years I've lived in Hilton. The food is "fine" at best, service has been rude, and the atmosphere just feels like nothing. I think people just go there because it's there and has been there for a long time. Not sure if it's still cash only but that was always annoying and antiquated. It's better to swing by Tops and make my own breakfast.

My family and I come here very often it looks like there is a new server who was extremely rude. We had a few incidents where she was just very awkward and I don’t know if she was new to serving or not, but we did not enjoy your time there last night. Now due to the fact that she pissed me off, just put the rest of the family in a foul mood. I’m hoping it’s a one in a done type of situation. Other than that, the food was pretty good
