Valentine’s Day double date at True Food Kitchen was a 10/10. Full course dinner + drinks — chocolate old fashioned, love potion, and lavender matcha — followed by dumplings and roasted Brussels sprouts to start. For dinner we had steak frites, chicken parm, and butternut squash risotto, and wrapped it all up with flourless chocolate cake. Every dish had amazing flavor, thoughtful presentation, and perfectly sized portions for the price. I really appreciated how allergy friendly the menu is — vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian options are clearly labeled, which makes ordering stress-free. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, perfect for conversation, and our server was incredibly polite and accommodating. My only small critique was the lavender matcha (it tasted like Cheerios), but everything else was fantastic. Overall, a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be returning.
This was my first experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent and Styles was the server and was extremely informative and attentive. I hope to visit Houston again. This will be my choice of dining each time!
We had such a great experience at True Food Kitchen, and a big part of that was our server, Styles. He was super upbeat and engaging from the start, and you can tell he's a people person. He checked on us multiple times, made great menu suggestions, and really listened to what we were in the mood for. The conversation was great as well, which made our experience more genuine. Styles is amazing at what he does. I hope to have him again next time!
I had an amazing experience at True Food Kitchen! The food was fresh, and flavorful. Brittany our server made our dining experience enjoyable. She was attentive without being overbearing. Our drinks were always refilled on time, and our food came out exactly as ordered. 10/10 would go back!
The level of customer service here is amazing. They were short staffed and we had a bit of a wait for our food and drinks. However, the manager took care of the entire meal! Such a nice guy. The food here is amazing, and our waitress was also very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back. If you are a local Houstonian, or just visiting, you must try this place. Their food is super good and healthy. They offer antibiotic free options for their proteins, and everything is made fresh daily. The juices are a must try! The air fried chicken was really good and the spaghetti squash casserole was also to die for. Overall it was a 5 star experience.
Organic and tasty food each day every day... Service and atmosphere: We received good and attentive service. The restaurant looked very modern, clean and well organised. They offer plenty of seating options as well as open bar area. Food and drinks: Organic and farm to table food concept. Some items were not cooked with seed oils. It was great to read that on the menu. The menu offered very good selection of various dishes. The foods we ordered were well presented, had good amount of seasoning and flavours. There was nothing to fault. You can also choose different drinks to accompany your meals (alcoholic beverages included). Pricing: $$ - the quality was worth every cent.
Styles is a phenomenal server! He remembers our drinks order and brings them on his first visit to the table. It is so nice to have whole, healthy, organic food options with truly gluten free and dairy free options that I can trust!

5 Stars Chase and Ruslan at True Food Kitchen are truly beyond words. Every time I come in, they deliver an experience that’s unforgettable. Their energy, their service, and the way they make you feel welcomed is unmatched. Because of them, I keep coming back and bringing friends and family with me. They’re genuinely one in a million, and True Food is incredibly lucky to have them. Absolutely the best! Oh and the food is bomb!
I’ve been to true food kitchen many times and the food is always excellent. Ask for Ruslan or visit him at the bar. He made my experience even better. Ruslan and the rest of the staff are so kind and really go out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic dining experience!!
I come to this location often the food is always fresh and healthy! When I come for lunch I always sit at the bar because Ruslan is an amazing bartender. Today I tried this wellness juice flight with their Kale aid, Hangover RX, Bright Eye, and the Ginger and honey. All were really good but I liked the ginger honey and Bright eye best. I also had the carrot cake and it was also really good. If you haven’t tried the edamame dumplings, you’re missing out.
I’ve passed this place up for weeks and decided to give it a try-and now I’m kicking myself for not trying it sooner!! The food was so fresh and flavorful, you wouldn’t suspect it was healthy. The server was excellent and recommended the after meal “tulsi tea” which was so very soothing -the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Will definitely be back-and I’m bringing friends.
So happy that we had the same great experience like we first had in Austin location. The chef allowed us to have customized pizza, half butternut squash (featured menu) and mushrooms pizza!! The foods are well made, nicely presented and enjoyable. Love that all ingredients are whole some. They use olive oil. However, wish their air fried French fries, a little bit more crispy. The server is nice and check up on us often!! The atmosphere was chill and relaxing!!

Dear Vegan eaters/ lovers ! Attention Amazing food with central location( Galleria). Ebony was my server ; very knowledgeable and hospitable. She recommended the blueberry pancakes and avocado toast. This place is such a rare gem! I love the ambiance and the moody lighting. Perfect for a casual date night. We got the grass fed burger with the honey roasted carrots. I loved how they toasted the bun. The pesto lasagna was definitely the star of the show though. Soo delicious and filling without the usual grogginess you would typically get after eating something like that. Their prickly pear refresher was also a 10/10. Wish we got dessert! We will be back 😋
First time here, and I WILL be back! Food: So delicious and aligns with my dietary goals!! I got the curry with tofu added and it tastes amazing. Service: Outstanding!! Our server, Ruslan, was so attentive and knowledgeable. As a server myself, he excelled the standard by far. Made my entire experience wonderful.
10 out of 10! Upscale fancy dining atmosphere, without the ridiculous upscale prices! We were expecting it to be VERY pricey because the quality of the ingredients is literally unmatched (the only organic, grass-fed, seed-oil-free restaurant I know of), but we were surprised that each item was only $2-3 more than you would pay anywhere else! My hubby gives it a 7/10, which is REALLY good for him, because he doesn’t even LIKE New American cuisine at all! (Which he calls “white people food”.) On top of the lovely refined atmosphere, we both LOVED the food, and the service was prompt and excellent! I got the American Burger with the Cheesy Mashed Potatoes side, the Pomegranate Spritzer, and the Guacamole and pita bread appetizer. He got a poke bowl and the Margherita Pizza. We shared the Cosmic Bliss Lemon Sorbet and Seasonal Strawberry Tart at the end. Again, EVERYTHING was SO GOOD! I didn’t even get pictures of the food because we ate it so fast! We’re already planning on returning next weekend!
The atmosphere is great and so is the food. However, the highlight of my experience was being served by Yiyi. She provided EXCEPTIONAL service, nit only yo myself but to her entire section. She gave me specific details on each dish which made me want to buy everything on the menu.
This place is delicious! We got the Ahi tuna bowl which was freshly cut prior to lunch. We also got the Grass Fed burger with a side of pesto pasta. So, so good! Finally, we came during brunch and extra hungry so we opted for the hash rancher. We can't believe this place serves pasture raised eggs! They use such clean ingredients but makes it taste so good -- just like our home cooking. Extra special thanks to Chef Alec for making our experience memorable. We will definitely be back!

This used to be my favorite restaurant. I noticed over the years. The quality of food and service have gone down. The restaurant is beautiful and located in great area. It took about 10 minutes for me to be greeted. It took another 15 minutes for me to get my Matcha tea. I had to ask for water. My waitress seemed like she was a bit, overwhelmed and annoyed. We ordered True Food on Sunday night because we didn't feel like cooking as we usually do and wanted to try it out. Saying we are extremely disappointed is an understatement. The food lacks flavor and even the best bite is subpar at best. Ironically, the best tasting item was the free hummus. The nealry $24 pepperoni pizza was one of the worst we've ever had. That, coupled with the fact that it's extremely small, and we really can't fathom the price. Their squash pasta/chicken tasted like I've had better hospital food. Quality ingredients and or organic ingredients does not have to mean bland or subpar tasting food that is overpriced.
