Ordered a dungeness crab cluster and a pound of shrimp head on with mild lemon pepper seasoning. The shrimp is large and tasted great. But if you don't like any spiciness at all, get non-spicy. The crab cluster tasted fine. I'd go back to this restaurant and try some of the other items on the menu.

This was disappointing 🙁 is being generous. #1 - I asked for rice🍚 in my gumbo and received no rice just a bowl of slimy soup🍜. Thank Goodness my friend ordered extra steamed rice 🍚. I used some of his rice 🍚. The gumbo was not seasoned well. Overall the food 🍛could have been seasoned better. I tried to order a seafood 🦞 boil as my initial order and had to choose 🔁 a different menu item because the a la carte menu of pricing 💰 each item individually that jacks up the price💰 tremendously. I had better at other seafood 🦞 spots and the prices are cheaper. I can miss this one next time. 🤦🏾

This place used to be our go to spot. It has completely fallen off. Horrible service, poor food quality, and higher prices. My food was burnt and all they could do was take 20% off. I asked them to remake them, and they refused. Never returning.

This place is going down hill so bad. Has always been mine & my husband favorite spot but now every time we go the service is terrible. The servers are always rude & forget like half our order every single time. Then to just go sit behind the counter and stick their faces in their phones the whole time and never come check on you. Last time we went my husband had to get up multiple times bc she didn’t bring the sauce that comes with the appetizer, forgot one of our orders of crab (on top of it didn’t communicate that she forgot to put the order in), didn’t bring any utensils to crack open the crab, got up to ask for a refill, we had to get up to pay the bill and ask for a to go bag. This is pretty much our experience every time we go now.. unfortunately this wasn’t just a one time thing

Nothing better than Happy Crab. This place (the owner michaels gfriend) is a detriment to this business. We used to go here monthly and they got my grandaughters order wrong and she acxused us of trying to get a free meal. So rude! Owner called us apologizing and said we were one of his best customers but we found Happy Crab!!!!

We use to love this place but it has changed so much. We just went and the girls working always make it seem like they’re annoyed when anyone comes in. We ordered shrimp fired rice as a starter & our seafood boil after. The seafood boil came out first & when I asked for our rice I could see the girl go back & ring it in. I’m assuming she forgot to put it in & never explained that to us. She never gave us bibs, limes and the utensils to help open the crab like they usually do and rarely came to check to see if we needed anything. We were also missing our order of potatoes so we had to wait for that too. Another time we came & they open at 3:00; it was 4:15 and the doors were locked. We started to walk away and one of the girls opened it and goes “oh we’re open, we just left it locked” like um why would you leave it locked during business hours?¿?¿ and she was soo rude the entire time and again rarely came to see if we needed anything. We have been some of the only people in there and they still take soooo long to come to our table for anything!! We even had to get up and just pay at the counter twice already bc we’ll be sitting waiting for the check and they never bring it. We obviously try to wave them down but they’re usually just sitting behind the counter with their faces in their phone. We will no longer be returning.. what a shame.. this has always been our favorite seafood spot

Been eating at this joint for years; however, recent purchases have been truly disappointing 👎👎 In particular, currently, the early stage of the 2024 crawfish season, they're selling crawfish at a premium price of $15.99 per pound, claiming to be all live and fresh. However, we received a mix of some fresh and mostly obviously frozen crawfish. Some were very large, solid hard-shell ones (not the size that should be available at this time of year) with rotted intestines and a strong preservative aftertaste, likely from last year's growing season. The head-on shrimp was also mushy and of poor quality. Additionally, the weight felt short when ordering to go. They opted for cheaper quality instead of investing in higher-quality ingredients, still selling at a premium price comparable with other joint offering fresh ingredients. I hope this joint considers its loyal customers‘ trust and improves its food quality soon. Otherwise, it's definitely not an option we’ll be returning to.

So I haven’t been here in quite some time. In fact I think when i was here last the place had a different owner and possibly a slightly different name. But anyway, I’ll never come back to this place again after this experience! When i used to come here awhile back, i usually got the fried shrimp which was really good because the shrimp were big and well seasoned, however this time i ordered a 2 pc tilapia with a side of hush puppies togo. Didn’t take long to get my order but something told me to check my bag before i left… i was incredibly disappointed and honestly should have made them fix me a new order but i was tired and it was kinda late so yall know how that goes at times. So i open the styrofoam box to find these overcooked hush puppies and 1.5 pieces of tilapia! I didn’t fully notice one was only half a piece because i wasn’t trying to touch the food yet so how it was laying I couldn’t tell it was only half. So i return to the counter and speak to one of the young ladies and ask her “are yall fried fish pieces usually this dawg gone small”… she says yes, especially the tilapia pieces… 🙄… she apologized and i went home because i was just getting done with work. I get home and realize that the pieces are not only small in size but also very skimpy and kinda frail like and that when i finally realized one piece of the 2nd tilapia was missing! So i really only got a piece and a half. I was willing to be more forgiving if the taste was there like I’ve experienced in the past but it absolutely was not! It was fairly bland and again the hush puppies were overcooked… they did have a decent flavor but that was hard to really appreciate since they weren’t cooked properly. I should have went to the seafood place I started to go to at first because they are very good but i came here because this place is closer to where i live. What a disappointment! $8 for this is a criminal! Yall can do better than this! I dont know if it was because it was kinda late (8pm) that yall decided to just give me whatever but you dang sure wont get me again! 👎🏾

Full disclosure: this has more to do with ethics than with food. This place was appalling. And I don't even mean how tepid the service was either. I have never been to a more wasteful establishment, producing mountains of single-use styrofoam and plastic trash. We started by asking for two waters, two micheladas, oysters, and a bowl of gumbo. Let me remind you, none of this is to go. They brought: 1. two styrofoam cups with michelada mix in two additional plastic tubs 2. Two more styrofoam cups of water with two more unnecessary plastic lids 3. Oysters with plastic forks, cocktail sauce in a plastic tub with lid, horseradish in a plastic tub with lid, and SALT in its own plastic tub with lid 4. Gumbo came in a styrofoam dish with unnecessary plastic lid and a plastic spoon And all of this served on an entirely unnecessary throw away table cover. We didn't even order crawfish! So mad that we didn't even care about the roach on the wall. At this point, we had no desire to order anything else for fear of more styrofoam and plastic. This isn't just lazy, this should be criminal. You love food from the ocean? Try producing less single-use plastic and styrofoam waste.
