Having experienced various Chipotle restaurants throughout downstate as well as Connecticut and New Jersey, I have a pretty good idea how a typical restaurant should be run....and this Chipotle Ithaca is a sad example of how NOT to run a franchise. The dining room was disgusting....none of the tables had been cleaned, the utentsil station was bare and the garbage collection receptacle was overflowing. I witnessed several employees just walk by, not interested in cleaning the dining room or taking care of the garbage. From a health department perspective, I wouldn't be surprised if the kitchen area was just as dirty and unkempt. Will never come back because obviously the franchise owner is either clueless or doesn't care.

Genuinely the worst chipotle I’ve ever been to. The lady behind the counter was SO RUDE, it was filthy in there, and the food was terrible. The sour cream was rock hard which is just disgusting.

I usually love Chipotle, but this location was a disappointment. When I went to order a steak bowl, they said they were cutting it (I was watching the gentleman cutting it right behind the counter). I told them I didn’t mind waiting for the steak to be cut. “Magically” another worker comes out from the kitchen with steak in a bowl. To continue, they have me an extremely small portion of the tops I asked for. The person I went with is on the smaller side, & they received a full bowl… Every thinner person in the restaurant had a full bowl, and I was lucky if I got a 1/3 of a portion. Additionally, it was noon when we went in, however almost every table still had the chairs up on the table top - thus limiting the seating. I won’t be attending this location again.

Uber eats Chipotle made sure they do not put cheese on it due to having an allergy for it. Proceeded to get it delivered with cheese and the cheese was hidden underneath food and so now I am vomiting for an hour Thank you! Update. I've now ordered from there three or four more times and the only time it's been correct is when I used the Chipotle app itself and created my name saying no dairy and even then there was still some things I had to pick out and it takes 4 hours roughly to get my food the worst place I've ever been to

Very sad to say, but this was one of the dirtiest Chipotles I’ve ever been to. First of all, the front door and glass looked like it had never been cleaned and was smeared with food and finger prints. The trash cans were all overflowing. The counter where the employees serve the food from had so much food spilled on it that when we got our bowls the food was all stuck to the bottom. Every table looked about as good as the front door, and we had to clean our chairs to avoid sitting on spilled rice and sauce. But the worst was the bathroom which had no toilet paper and stuff all over the floor. We almost walked out but we were starving. I’m honestly surprised we didn’t get sick. It’s a shame because we aren’t picky people and we love Chipotle. But we might be second guessing it from now on because of this experience. I think management needs to step up their game.

Ate here for lunch today, and the dining area was a mess. Almost all tables had dirty food on them, the floor under the tables was dirty, and there was even toilet paper on the floor outside the restrooms. I suggested to the cashier that they might want to clean it, and she said they were too busy. But it also makes me wonder how clean the kitchen and other work areas are- perhaps they are too busy to clean those as well. Saw this location received findings for the latest heath inspection by the county last month, including a “critical” finding for not having food at the right temperature. Eat here at your own risk.

Had a pickup order at 5. Didn't get it until after 6pm. The person working could not have worked slower. When I got home, the carton was maybe 1/3 full. Absolutely terrible. Pathetic. Hire competent staff or close.

Never had Chipotle before and I should have looked at reviews. I’m pretty disappointed. I ordered 2 different salsa’s on my bowl and cilantro rice. Didn’t find any salsa, barely any rice. The queso was lukewarm at best. Looks like mashed potatoes. Girlfriend also ordered a bowl with no beans and they managed to give her a BED of beans and no rice. Additionally, I wanted to order a burrito but the app said “unavailable”. Tell me why I walk into the store to pick up the order and I see the workers rolling burritos with plenty of tortillas in sight. The tables look like they hadn’t been wiped down in hours and overall was a very unpleasant and disappointing experience. She shouldn’t have paid $40 for this. Unreal.

That place is absolutely disgusting! Every table had food all over it. They had no rice, their work area was so filthy and covered in food. There was zero ice, zero utensils, the soda was watered down. The wait for food was so long. They took my friends order and then walked away as she stood there for prob 10 mins waiting. They were understaffed, didn’t seem to care about their customers.

Delivery order, despite the fact that I’ve had issues with in person orders as well. 1 bowl took over 2 hours, because they ran out of rice. Bowl was missing every other topping, I could have scooped more of a portion with the handle side of a spoon. Chicken was burnt, Toppings were missing, no bowl from a fast food place should take two hours and cost several dollars more than in person.

PLEASE read and listen to the reviewers. They aren’t wrong with how terrible this place is! I ordered ahead on the app for a 1pm pickup. We arrived right at 1 to a relatively empty restaurant. There were a handful of people waiting on their online orders. If I could have cancelled my online order and just order the counter I would have done that ( Because there was no line). I ended up getting my food at 1:40. Before leaving I checked my food. It was missing veggies, and was cold. I know the corn is usually cold, but the rice and meat were also cold to the touch. At first when I brought it to their attention they claimed it was sitting there for a long time, which wasn’t the case. The bowl was barely filled at all….not like what is expected from chipotle. They did make me a new bowl, which was warm this time however they were out of veggies :( They offered my a free fountain drink which I threw away because the coke had something wrong with it. The chips were stale and the restaurant was a mess. I would absolutely never come back to this location based on my experience of others.

I’m pretty sure that if you order online the workers don’t try very hard to make your burrito. One half of my burrito was pure overcooked rice and sour cream, and the other half was everything else. Almost no cheese. The location is disgusting. The food is almost good, but either management just doesn’t teach the workers how to make a proper burrito, or the workers just can’t be asked to put effort into making people’s food. this is by far the worst chipotle I’ve ever seen. If you want Mexican food, go to one of the locally owned sit-down restaurants in Ithaca they’re 1000x better

Absolutely ridiculous. This was my first time ever at Chipotle. Waited 20 minutes in line (which was to the door) and only 1 person got their food, while the 10 or so people in front of me waited. There's about 5 people working, but only 1 is taking orders and making them. The larger gentlemen working the cashier walks around dillydallying and singing in front of people when there is a huge line waiting to order. Tables were dirty and disgusting, napkins needed to be refilled, place was overall nasty. The bigger gentlemen was staring down at the line waiting for his other co-workers to attend to it, when he was more than capable of taking said orders. Fire the guy who's doing nothing and give that young gentlemen's doing all the work a raise!!!! Took our business elsewhere.

Would give 0 if I could. This place is absolutely disgusting. The people working tonight were moving so slow. I did an online order 20 min before arriving and still waited an hour for food. 1 person making food for walk in customers, 1 standing at the register staring off into space, 1 just wandering around, and the other im assuming was in charge of the shift looked lost and when I questioned why it was taking so long as I along with about 8 others waited for online orders. I stood watching for about 10 min. The 1 making food only waited on 2 customers and the one making online orders completed 2 orders.....absolutely ridiculous. They were not communicating with each other to get orders out and moving extremely slow. As a Manger in retail not one of these 4 would be employed by me ever. They are payed 3times what I started at in fast food and I guarantee you I would have done the work of all 4 and still got the orders out quicker. No way this place makes good money. Poor on managements behalf and this looks horrible on your company in general! P.s. not an anomaly 3rd time in 2 months. Will never go to this location again or refer anyone to eat there either. Upper management needs to step in.
