The food was so amazing and the service great especially Tiffany the hostess
This place was very accommodating when we asked for vegan options. The server went above and beyond and the burritos we got were just right and really good. The salsa was very good as well.
I've eaten twice here in the last two years and the quality has remained great which is nice to see these days. If you are rolling through Jamestown it's a must stop!
Had the chicken Sabana Blanca which was on point but lemme tell you kids, dem BEANS are where it's at! Ain't the standard pintos, it's a Peruvian bean that is extra creamy & mm mm good! Go get some.
Excellent range and quality We had fish tacos Yummy and large portions too
Absolutely best food ever, service is impeccable and the price is perfect
Always love their tacos and burritos al pastor
Food was Amazing and the service was top notch. They was very friendly and professional too. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Authentic Mexican food.
This is one of my family's go to restaurants especially when we have company and want to give them a treat. My favorite thing is there mango margaritas and flour tortilla chips and salsa. They make them fresh! They also make corn tortilla chips but my favorite is the flour tortilla chips because they are so light and fluffy and crispy at the same time!
This place was great amazing food and amazing service highly recommend thanks guys
Fantastic little place. Went on a Craigslist adventure from Placerville to Jamestown to buy some handcrafted gates. Stopped here for dinner. I had Chicken fajitas, my wife had the breaded chicken dish. It was delicious, and the service was great. If ever back thru Jamestown, we will stop again.
Fresh and authentic. I came here with the family. Everybody got something different we all enjoyed our meals. Great service friendly staff
First time here and not only was the Food delicious, but the 2 girls waiting on us were absolutely adorable and gave us awesome service! Will come again. 👍🏼😊
Great food and big portion sizes. Interior and bathroom is very clean. The employees were all taking precautions and wearing masks. Great little place to stop and get a bite.
We inadvertently arrived 5 minutes before closing and we're welcomed warmly and with excellent service. The freshly made chips arrived before we even sat down. Holy Guacamole, the food was delicious-- fresh guacamole, clean flavors, the carnitas was fried just right. They also had a great, and reasonably priced tequila and cocktail selection. The rum horchata was so cinnamonny and rummy in just the right proportions. So sad there isn't a place this good in my town.
The best Mexican food I've had in this area so far. Usually get it to go and orders are always done very fast. Chili Verde is the best.
Seriously best food I've ever had ... less then 10 min wait for food after ordering.. very nice people..be prepared to take your food home due to how big the servings are ... amazing place
Great food and was nicely air conditioned. Had the green Chile chicken enchiladas and they were amazing. The rice was decent, but the beans, well they were A ok perfect.
This place by far has the best breakfast burritos in town giant for the price and I've recommended everyone I know here constantly.
Hands-down the best Mexican food to be found on 108, and served with smiles. The salsa served with the chips is good on anything you can order, and the carne asada is savory and delicious. They even took my picky grandson's off-menu custom ordered burrito with smiles and accommodations. We're done searching for our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area; CC's is it!
With a wide selection on the menu, sometimes the Chef's ability to prepare all the dishes to perfeçtion isn't there. Not the case here. Our selected dishes were served hot and delicious. My Wife, Sister and I each had something different from the menu. One of the things I always look for is the texture and taste of the rice. Fluffy and spiced with care. Service was great. Its worth the price to stop in and taste Mexican food as it should be!
Great little place, right on the highway. Best salsa! Great service, even though they were very busy. Wish I lived near by.
CC Taqueria is the best!! 5 stars, my family and I love everything about our experiences there. The homemade recipes are amazing, the ambiance is warm & welcoming, we just love that it is family operated. We visit quite regularly. Autumn is usually our server, she is always so friendly & bubbly. Autumn goes above & beyond to make sure our experience is the best. Support local & stop by CC Taqueria we promise you won't regret it!!
The owners are wonderful people!! The food is consistently very good. They go out of their way to please. Love their breakfast, lunch/dinner menu.
So good, Luis is wonderful, always makes us feel at home. My favorite now is the pork burrito, w/rice & beans. Oh then you got to try the fried Ice cream! Yumm!
My family and I just ate here. I have to say, coming from Southern California, I wish they would open one of these there. Some of the best, most authentic Mexican Food we've had in a long time. The homemade chips are awesome as well. Overall a great experience.
The guy hooked me up. I got two huge tacos. $10.50 out the door. Gave me chips And salsa to go.
Food was very delicious and steaming hot and the girls servers very nice and hard works. The guy working has a server in the morning never picked up his dirty dishes and left them sitting there for a long time and had the morning server who had just come in for her shift to pick up after him. Dirty tables left sitting there for over 30mins. He had plenty of time to pick up after himself. I did tell him it was not very nice what he did. But otherwise the restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious. I'm going back for another week for work and for sure I'll be eating there again all week💖
A lot of Mexican food places serve good food that's pretty similar, but CC clearly goes above and beyond. It has an excellent menu with unique items like thinly breaded beef schnitzel while not throwing 10,000 things in your face. Even a bean burrito was brought over with seared green and red pepper spears over the top and what looked to be a very healthy interior. I'll be honest, the interior looks more like a cafeteria, it's very utilitarian. But that's not the reason I go there and don't really care. It's a lunch place, not a candlelit fine dining establishment. Wait staff are pretty friendly and it has the feel of a family-run place. parking is right along the highway, and I recommend avoiding high traffic hours. If you know Jamestown, you know the traffic can be pretty intense.
Fantastic food large potions in the combos. I had the three item combo and thought it would be a mini this and mini that. Everything a a decent size and nice and hot from the cooking. The salsa was very good. I like places that have a salsa bar (that would great if they did that) but no complaints. Do yourself a flavor and check them out. Friendly staff.
They are excellent locally owned restaurant! They are top notch when it comes to their food, service & the way they treat their customers! We have been dining with them for close to 25 years.
Oh my lucky stars!! Just moved here from the bay area and it was a rough drive up the mountain. But, I tell ya, I pulling into Jamestown and stopping by CC's made it all better. The food is full of flavor and they aren't skimpy on the portions. You leave with a full belly, left overs for tomorrow, and a smile on your face. May even make a new friend. Take a gander for yourself, You won't be disappointed.
O-M-G this place was bomb! Food was to die for, even the fresh chips and salsa. Service was superb, varied menu with plenty of choices and good prices. 10/10 cannot wait to go back!
We eat here often. This time a group of us had a wonderful meal there. Luis is a charming host and the food is outstanding.
My family eats here all the time. The servers know my brothers and sisters by name. Super cute. The interior is a little plain, but the food was delicious. I have the sizzling shrimp fajitas... YUM! Bathroom was clean, and the cocktails (though basic) were cheap! 😜🙌🏼
I must have driven past this place a thousand times and just didn't notice it. Some friends took us there yesterday and omgoodness it was so good, the salsa they bring out for the chips is amazing, so flavorful and just a tiny burn at the end, it was also amazing on my tacos and I never eat salsa! Also the rice and beans were the best I have ever had,I was so full but had to finish them lol I would definitely recommend going here. Good prices, bomb food and a very clean environment
I absolutely love this place. They make an amazing margarita and the food is amazing! My son is a picky eater and they even have something that he will eat. Their salsa is the best I have found so far. I love the carnitas here. Nice calm environment, its very comfortable and is calm enough for my 2 month old to sleep. Great customer service.
I got the Floutas, Horchata, and fried ice cream. All of the dishes/drinks I got were amazing, not to mention the salsa which was the perfect amount of spicy, and "flavor-ness"? The service was amazing. We never had to ask for anything extra, and our waiter and waitress were both extremely kind. Overall 5 stars, I had an amazing experience and I definitely recommend coming here if you want some good, authentic, Mexican food.
We were on our way back to Lake Tahoe from Yosemite and stopped here for dinner. We're from Texas and very large group. I wish I got the server's name but she was absolutely PERFECT. Literally best service I've ever received. Then the food & drinks! The drinks are so reasonable & she made them PERFECT. Food, was soooo good! The shrimp, rice and beans were just awesome! Definitely a must try if you are in the area!!!
Delicious home style Mexican food. We were stuffed when we left. The food was delivered hot to our table quickly. They serve beer and tequila and you get some wonderful warm tortilla chips served with some of the beat salsa I've tasted. Good prices too. I recommend highly.
Delicious Mexican food - they did even customize our food as vegetarian .
They are fast, the food is wonderful, also it must be family owned and operated, because it has family warm and fuzzy atmosphere we love it there we love the food we give it a 5
Great value, yummy food and friendly service.
If your in Jamestown it's worth the stop. Very good food ,the drinks are awesome for the price. Can't wait to go back they open early 7 and service is great, a must stop after gambling makes you feel like a winner!
Basic, to-the-point-info: *Nice atmosphere *Clean restaurant *Delicious food *Friendly staff *Average priced 😊 I used to eat here all the time but due to circumstances I had last eaten there several years ago. However, I returned there a few days ago and I was not disappointed. My favorite thing was always the garlic soup. I also absolutely love the flautas and of course you can't have that without the salsa. I got it all and it was as good as i remembered. I ended up bringing half of it home and the next day I reheated the flauta, rice and beans. I threw it all together, added salsa😉 and had it for dinner. It was still really good. I will definitely be eating there again.
Best sopes and al pastor tacos in Jamestown
Great little Mexican restaurant in Jamestown right on Hwy 108. Always full of locals, that's always a great sign. We drive an hour specifically to come to CC's. The food is fantastic, salsa is fresh and delicious. Their bean dip you can eat with a spoon as a meal. And the service is excellent, even when they are busy, and it's a small restaurant so they are frequently busy and full. I recommend the Pollo en crema, great Chipotle cream sauce and with a side of fried jalapeños, just the perfect amount of heat. Seriously great food. We'll continue to make the drive just for this little restaurant.
Love this place! I have been eating here since their first location (many years ago). They’ve got great service and we never have to wait. We always leave fully satisfied. From staff to food, everything is wonderful.
They have some special dishes that are fantastic. The garlic soup is to die for. I have frequented this place for a long time. I always come out happy and satisfied. They have all the standard Mexican food, plus a few nice specialty dishes. But what I find fascinating is how good the side dishes are. Their white beans is so good I have often just ordered that specifically. I will update this post during the weekend, when they make menudo, only available during the weekend.
Huge thank you to Carlos and his team! They catered our family's wedding this weekend. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Carlos ans his team delivered all the food, they were on time and super helpful. Carlos even made a second trip to hand deliver extra limes. Thank you so much!
This is my family's favorite Mexican restaurant! The fish 🐟 tacos are worth driving up to get! The roasted peppers in the salsa give it incredible flavor. We always buy a pint to take home.
I eat here every time I'm in town. Delicious food, and great service.
This place is so delicious you can't beat the prices The service is amazing Love this place
Delicious Mexican Food! The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic! Everything tasted homemade. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Mexican food!
If you're up for something better than fast-food Mexican, this is a fine choice on your way to Yosemite or Fresno. Their "pick any two" pricing is a real bargain, two full-sized entrees for less than $20. The tostaditos (little nachos, free with the entree) are home-made and superb, much better than what you could possibly find in a supermarket. I would ho back just for those. This seems to be a family-owned small business, the kind that deserves our patronage.
We have eaten lunch here before and it's very good, but today we stopped for breakfast and boy were we surprised. My husband is very picky about breakfast and raved about his omelette and the pancakes. I had the breakfast burrito and it was spot on. Definitely coming for breakfast again. Service was great too.
My husband and I had a late lunch here. We ordered the pollo a la crema and camarones a la crema. Very fresh and authentic, the food was delicious! These dishes are favorites of ours and not easy to find and made the way we like. We ordered a bloody mary and vodka cranberry. The food prices were median, but the drinks were cheaper than most places. There were a few people inside, and several came in for takeout. The interior size was smaller than expected and simply decorated. The restaurant was clean. The employees were friendly and professional.
Very nice people. Good food. Only complaint was waitress was sweeping floor right beside us while we ate, no bueno.
Yummy place in a small town. Staff was very quick, very attentive. Lots of locals coming in for quick lunches. Clean, tasty, great prices! I had fajitas and chili Colorado, both were great.
Best Mexican food by far in the area. Very authentic. The people working there are all very nice and will greet you by name on entry after you e gone there a few times. Really friendly staff. The food is top notch and you can definitely taste the quality and authenticity.
Just had dinner after riding our motorcycles to Glacier Point in Yosemite. The service was fantastic and the guacamole was wonderful. Much better than the other Mexican restaurant in town.
Great food! Staff could have been more talkative though, when a costmer gives a compliment on your food you think you'd talk to that costumer, thanks for the smile but conversation goes a long way.
I've been going to CC Taqueria for several years now. I went regularly when I worked in the area and still go when traveling in the area. The food never disappoints and is served in good portion amounts at a reasonable price. The service is good and the wait for the food is good too.
We were welcomed immediately when we walked in. It was inexpensive and the food was way better than the price might have indicated. Really good. The beans were exceptional. Locals know about it and eat there. Go. You'll be glad you did.
We were just out for a drive and wound up in James Town Ca. around lunch time today. We both love Mexian food and we found CC Taqueria.... what a great place, staff is very friendly, service is great, but the bottom line was the Food..... It was some of the best we've ever had... the Salsa was way good just the right heat.... we will be back...! I highly recommend CC Taqueria if you're ever in James Town make it a point to stop... they also have a Breakfast Menue....🌮🍺👍🏻👍🏻
Great salsa, and delicious Garlic Shrimp and Carnitas plates. Their Garlic Soup is also very tasty, as is their guacamole. They make fresh tortilla chips, from both corn and flour tortillas. If you have a preference, just ask for what you want. If you do not declare a preference they will serve you a mix of tortilla chips with the salsa. All of the employees have been friendly, and the service has been excellent.
One of the best we have thank you. I understand but the prices are a little higher now so I only get there once a month rather then weekly.
Nice little quiet restaurant. I always like going there when I'm in town. Food usually hits the spot and the serving size is good. I preferred the hard shell tacos over soft, but both options are packed with ingredients(meat included).
Compared to my experience, their Mexican food recipe for Shrimp Taco Salad was unique. Not bad, just different. Even their chip salsa - different. Natch' bottled beer was the same. Service: best I've experienced for many years at all types of restaurants, and best all time Mexican. TY, Edwin, for being attentive and caring!
Nachos were awesome!! Service was great! Little off the beaten path place and loved it.
The food and the service is really good. I just wished it had a little better atmosphere. I had to tamales beans and rice. The tamales were really good and the rice well that was exceptional
Was just OK. One dish was so salty we sent it back. A lot of sauces, but it was still bland. My beef was super tough. Great salsa Carnitas and chili reyeno!
Everything was really good except the girl came around mopping the floor and the smell of pine sol ruined our meals ,it was so strong ,,,,wish she could of waited to mop the floors after they had closed,,,,,the smell of pinesol ruined the dinner
Cute place. The staff were nice and helpful. Not the cleanest restaurant I've ever been to. The interior was dated but cute. The food was good. Nothing outstanding to write home about, but definitly a good place for a quick cheap meal.
Very nice people, mediocre food. The guacamole dip was sour and somewhat tasteless; my tortilla soup had a tasty broth (but lukewarm); the vegetarian burrito was a nice-size portion (but bland); and honestly, I thought it would be a little cheaper. Owner and staff were very nice, though; and I know they've been there for many years, so it could have been just a bad experience.
Got the special for the day meat and cheese quesadilla. It was so so.. Asked if it came with rice and beans. Both people behind the counter said "yes" once I went to pay they charged for them. Food was fair. Great chips mix of corn and flour. Good salsa. Rated 3 based on food and cleanliness. Will try again maybe off day.
Meat had grissle chips were stale and coke was warm. A 3 is generous
The place is good in general and probably other dishes are good but I took beef fajitas to go. It was provided in a plastic bowl as a soup with a lot of liquid. Normally I get fajitas as a pan fried dish with some oil but I've never seen it as a soup before. The taste is ok, slightly too salty for me but the way it's served is very questionable.
The taste of the food wasn't bad "BUT" I went in on a Friday at lunch time and it was actually super slow and it the workers were very unwelcoming. My burrito was also cold. In addition, not sure why the lady who handles the chips doesn't wear any gloves. All of that combined, I won't be back. $9 for a cold burrito and bad vibes, no thank you.
The waitress was a zombie. Zero personality and thats giving her 10 extra bonus points to start! The food is simply okay. Honestly I've had better food at taco bell. If it wasn't for the import beer they would have only got one star!
Last time I came here my burrito was nasty! I've had them a couple of times and its never been anything to write home about. Actually I took a friend that was visiting from NC there to taste a burrito and I was EMBARRASSED that was her first experience of a burrito. Anyhoo, NOT authentic. To each his own, just my 2 cents.
I ordered the pollo asado. I honestly thought that they forgot the chicken and pita bread was there. The chicken was very very dry, they actually removed it from my meal and put Italian dressing and it's marinated still but I'm just going to chuck it. Barely pico de gallo. I was really happy about the bottle Pepsi though.
So there is literally nothing open in town beside Subway so I thought I would give this place a try. The chips were probably the worst chips I've ever eaten the salsa tasted like tomato paste and the shrimp had zero flavor literally and they didn't even peel the last half of the shell or tail off so I'm expected to pick up a burning hot piece of shrimp and peel it off not to mention the portions were completely off how are you going to give me 10 shrimp and then just give me two scoops of beans and rice and only three tortillas but I guess that's right considering you barely gave me any beans and rice. The owner seemed very nice but the guy that took my order was quite pushy and all in all I'd give it a two. I would definitely recommend going to Subway or round table instead of spending 20 bucks at this place for really the land mediocre Mexican food I won't be back
First time coming here since I was on lunch break for work & was the closest “Mexican food” nearby. I must say 4.4 stars rated was high in my opinion so I figured, what the heck let me check out this taqueria. Flat out horrible, food was cold, I ordered for take out and to top it off they messed up my order. I now see why there was bad reviews with “listening skills” my goodness I know it was busy but try to at least have some composure with other customers that way you give them a good experience. ¡¡DISCLAIMER NOT AUTHENTIC WHATSOEVER!!
Lets Lets say its edible. The service was horrible she never checked in with the table to see if we needed anything..which we did we needed refills on drinks, the food wasnt good at all and no one asked how the food was the server sat at the cash register the whole time. We had to voice and wave for the server to come back 4 times! Plus we were the only ones there! Sad!
I ordered fajitas and they came in a deep Skillet with a bunch of liquid in it. As I was eating it I realized it was soy sauce. For those who don't know soy sauce has wheat in it so it is definitely not gluten free. I have never eaten at a Mexican restaurant that puts soy sauce in their food. I have eaten Mexican food all over this country and including in Mexico. I asked the waitress what was in the food and she tried to tell me it was teriyaki sauce which I don't believe because it wasn't sweet at all. It was very very salty. When I told her about the problem she said she looked at the bottle and it doesn't have soy sauce in it. If it was teriyaki sauce it would definitely have soy sauce in it. She also told me that it said so on the menu and no it does not. Anyways if you were gluten intolerant or can't have soy, don't eat here. She brought me a plain piece of chicken when I asked for it but it was also very salty and I could barely eat it. Do not recommend this place. The waitress was friendly, but that doesn't make up for bad food. She said that all the Mexican restaurants in the area put teriyaki sauce in their fajitas. Again, weird.
Stopped by this place on our way to the Polar Express ride, the food and drinks were not very good. I think they get a lot of traffic due to the fact they are right on the main road and I mean "right" on the main road~parking sucks. The staff all though was very nice did not seem to have very good listening skills. My ice tea was not very good, way way to strong, my grandsons "orange crush" had a strange taste and my daughters "water" was from tap and tasted like bad tap water the only drink they was decent was my grand daughters chocolate milk, however I want to point out here she did actually ordered hot coco (i.e. listening skills) but she overlooked that part since the drink tasted good. As for the food, we ordered three hamburgers ~ one with everything on it, one with just cheese and one without onions; were received three with everything (once again listening skills). The waitress said she would take them back to fix but we were on a time crunch and said no and fixed them ourselves. The hamburger meat tasted like the cheap kind you get from the grocery store that has no real taste ~ kinda like cardboard. My tomatoes were two small (Roma) pieces with an end piece fixed that by taking the tomatoes off my grandsons, you know they could have at least cut the nipple part off so it would be flatter and would not be so hard to eat. Whatever~Like I said the staff was nice but other than that I would just drive past. Sorry people at restaurant I'm sure you meant well but you still have a long way to go to be what I would call a great place to eat.
Don’t order vegetarian food from here!!Ordered vegetarian enchiladas. They only put cheese in it. They barely put any sauce too. For 20 dollars, I got a dish with a huge amount of cheese and some rice and beans on the side which is not healthy. At least the chips were good.
I hate to leave a bad review. But this place is the worst authentic Mexican food I ever had. They drowned out the tacos with guacamole and severely overpriced.
