Great people amazing food the Fleetwood mac fries are delicious!

I'm from Indianapolis and my friend is from Tennessee. We were both visiting some buddies in Louisville during 2020 and couldn't find any bars that were open past 10pm on a Saturday. We were literally just driving around and popping into bars. Saw this one while driving over the bridge and deciding to stop in. One of the chillest bars I've been to and so unexpecting! The atmosphere was great, drinks were good, and employees were really friendly. I was just thinking about this experience and decided I'd hunt down this place on the map and give a good review!

Just left LA and had the good ole In and Out burger. Came home and had one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I’ve ever had. Go get it now.

Hidden gem in Jeffersonville for my kinda people . They have a lotta local metal bands play . Not many places like that anymore. I've never tried the food so I can't rate that. But everything else is awesome .

Wrong Side 812 is exactly what a dive bar should be. Rough around the edges, nothing matches, the food is greasy pub fare, and the beer list is pretty much “whatever’s cold before the keg kicks.” But that’s the charm. This place (and more importantly the people inside) doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. It’s loud, chaotic, full of character, and unapologetically real. If I wanted clean lines, sterile decor, and subpar drinks, I’d go to Applebee’s. But when I want to sit in a room with three different kinds of chairs, eat a burger or hotdog that drips onto the wax paper, drink whatever cold beer they have available, and pay ten bucks to support a local metal band? I go to Wrong Side 812. We happened to catch Throwback Thursday the night we went (on a Friday naturally), and they crushed it. Easily one of the most fun, authentic nights out I’ve had in a while. Long live dive bars like this. (Side note; the fries were actually really really good. Like both flavor and texture. I don’t like fries normally; they were amazing here.)

Incredible staff. Delicious vegan food. It was my first visit but they made me feel like a regular. There were bands playing and later Karaoke: both a great show. Even the patrons were incredibly friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

If you're looking for a dive with a rowdy crowd, this is the place. Everyone was friendly. The bartender was helpful and the food was good. It's definitely not the cleanest or brightest place in the world. It's got a pretty nice patio uptop with a decent view of the louisville skyline. The patio was wrecked though and didn't look like it had been picked up since the night before. Overall, if you're into dives and heavy metal, this is the place for you.

This place was soooo fun! They have a sign that says "buy a round for the bartenders $15". My fiancé fell into the temptation and we had a blast with all the bartenders. Beautiful people arrive there, beautiful staff works here, and they have a nice closed in patio where they have kareoke. The drinks are cheap, they have a decent selection of beer. They have pool tables as well. The tables take quarters ($1). We stayed here until they closed. They have a HUGE parking lot across the way. This was a nice little travel from where I live. Cool to get across the 2nd street bridge to get into some fun.

This location is home to the very first bar I've experienced, so I'm a bit biased. But seeing what its current owners have done with the place has me quite impressed. Not just because they added a small arcade with some legendary classics but also for the awesome staff. The management, along with the kitchen and crew, do a fantastic job. 👏 catch a good vibe!

Great place to have some drinks and listen to live music

This may be the only bar I've been too but it is by far the best. The bartenders are awesome if you're a regular or new there. They always compliment my outfits and make sure to check in on us when we're just hanging out playing pool or just vibing to the music, which is always great. The food is delicious when you're drunk or sober and there's plenty of options for everyone. Overall the atmosphere, staff, and food is the best for anyone wanting to come here. I love this bar ❤️❤️

But this place really had the whole everyone is welcome vibe and service was great (3 stars for food because I didnt eat anything) had a couple of beers and overall liked the set up and that theres outdoor areas as well as up top on the roof where you can sit and see lousiville or Jeffersonville. Nice little hidden gem.

The wings with wrong sauce are 🔥🔥 If you're an elder emo there's a pretty good cover band that comes through here pretty often, called Flicker//Fade. Definitely check that out at least if you can! They post all their upcoming shows on social media

If youre into horror movies and hard rock/metal music then you're in for a treat. Really small bar but a fun one

A gem in the rough. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Wait till later around 11 for the crowd but definitely a nice place to go for a Rock Bar vibe.

Nice bar/club. I loved the stage area. I was there to watch Snatched Up. It was not hot-there was a nice breeze. There was a good number of people there. There is plenty of parking and great workers.

Small, and strange but fun! I was outside and at 1 point I could 3 totally diff music genres.

I don’t know if we went on a off day for you guys or if it was the norm, but I couldn’t help but notice the amount of trash everywhere. The bathrooms were disgusting and it was pretty empty inside for a Saturday. On a better note, The bartender was fabulous and I was highly impressed with the food. Keep up the good work, hopefully it gets cleaned up.

Decent spot on a Tuesday night. I got to see Spirits of Silo, Between The Backwoods and Bobcat. What a great show. I will come back here if I know they're playing!

Nice little bar with rock music theme and they are open until 3am with a kitchen that's open past midnight. They offer live bands, pool tables and an outdoor area that is enclosed with a pool table. Smoking is allowed in the outdoor area.

Trash was littering the upstairs patio area. Broken furniture. Peeling paint. Could be great, but needs cleaned up and maintained.

It, like it's patrons are not what they appear to be. It's not a dive bar, or a biker bar. Last time we where there, the regulars helped the local police find a couple girls that were in a off location fight.

A very dirty place with no air circulation and no fans for your customers that are sitting outside. It's makes you want to go home a take shower after visiting this place.

The place is dangerous with many OSHA and safety violations especially on the outdoor upstairs patio and downstairs outside decking. Overpriced for the dive bar it is.

I went on a Thursday night after a long shift at work. I figured I would try this place out since the reviews were good. I definitely would Not recommend eating the food here! I got food poisoning from the burger I had, and the atmosphere was depressing. The only good thing here was the service.

POs bar got kicked out fir drinking too much tho i only had 3 beers. Edit: prepare to pay 10 dollars to enter and btw it’s a bar not a night club also no draft beer at all and the fries were cold and soggy and tiny couldn’t even get a burger. Got told I couldn’t smoke but seen people smoking, bar is extremely biased and unprofessional imo. 5-8 bucks a bottle of beer good luck 10 buck shots. Staff are extremely rude aswell kicking me out without explaining fully why. Will not recommend this as a 21st bar at all.
