This place shouldn't need any introduction, but because it's a hidden gem from the turn days of old, apparently it wouldn't hurt so here goes nothin... Burger Boy is a ln absolute MUST GO in Old Louisville situated not too far from Mag Bar, but this place is the coolest time warp into the 40's and 50's diner scene and their diner food is as good or better than anything I've tried anywhere, especially for late night bites. Get down there and get one or 4 or 10 of those exquisitely made burgers 🍔 in your belly immediately. You'll want to seek me out and thank me for it! - D. DeSanto

Great place to eat! Friendly staff and patrons. The cashier remembered us from before and we have only been a few random times. Very welcoming. The food is GREAT!!, made to order with fresh ingredients. Open kitchen so you can see everything. Can't wait to go back!! Thank you everyone!

I work nights and this place is open and sells dinner at 6 am. Order counter side waitress was fanstastically friendly at the early hr. Quick speedy service. Food was made fresh it was piping hot and delicious. They offer a variety of dinner and breakfast foods so its great for 6am late night people or early morning risers. The diner had plenty of street parking nearby, an outside seating area, and plenty of seats inside, plus a bar counter. The decor was cute old diner themed with neon signs and older chairs. Good friendly atmosphere for a quick bite at any hour.

It's always very cold in there so bring a jacket but the food is great & they're open 24 hours. The customer service is great. I'd highly recommend!!! Especially at 3am.

I ordered the burger boy classic combo. The burger was 🔥. I like the big Mac look. The fries were seasoned to perfection. I don't know if it was grippos seasoning or not but those fries were 🔥 I definitely want to try something on that breakfast menu,and everything is cooked to order

Blueberry pancakes I believe they were made by Jasmine were easily the best I've ever had fluffy and cooked to perfection. Scrambled eggs were also cooked just right . Sausage was absolutely delicious. Color me happy 😊. Would highly recommend Burger Boy. Great coffee as well.

This was my first time at burger boy and it was great! 🍔 There was a small wait for the food and that’s only because they make your meal fresh right in front of you. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant as well, it was unique to most burger places I have visited. Everyone was very friendly and the burger was awesome. 💖

Very good food, great service, and nice vibes. Open 24/7, its nice to be able to go after work in the mornings when i get off at 7:30am and still be able to get lunch/dinner food if that's what i wanted. Same later on if i wanted breakfast before going to work at night. Service is incredible, they're always close but not smothering you, and you can actively see the chef cooking the food. And the vibes are just on point. Music, diner vibe.

I ordered an Old Louisville Burger. It was pretty good. The fries that it came with were amazing. The wait was a bit long, the tables and chairs were not clean, the bun used for the burger fell apart easily but it overall it was good.

One thing my fans have learned about the Fat Man is that he loves a good burger. They are one of my favorite things in this world. So, we stopped at Burger Boy while out and about in Louisville, KY. Burger Boy is a low-key joint open 24/7 for burgers, deli sandwiches & classic American breakfast fare. I tried the Old Louisville Burger, made with a ¼ burger, bacon, over easy egg, and provolone. The burger was cooked perfectly, with crispy edges and a juicy interior. It could have used a touch more seasoning, but it was tasty. While out of the bag, the bun was fresh, and the bun-to-burger ratio was good. The veggies were fresh and crispy, the egg yolk was perfectly runny, and the bacon was crispy and chewy. The cheese was melted over the burger and offered a salty and very subtle sweetness to the bite, cutting through the creamy egg yolk and saltiness of the bacon. I also ordered the Chili Cheese Fries. This dish comes with cheddar cheese and house-made chili and is served over seasoned fries. The fries were cooked well, and the seasoning added to the flavor of the chili. It was full of meat, tomatoes, and beans. Their chili was thick with excellent taste, a touch of sweetness, and a good peppery heat finish. The cheddar cheese was spot-on gooey and added a great saltiness to each bite. The fries were adequately coated in both cheese and chili. My wife went with the ¼ burger fully dressed in cheese and seasoned fries. Again, the seasoned fries were cooked to a crunchy outside with a soft inside, and the seasoning tasted like a BBQ-type seasoning, sweet with a bit of heat on the end. The burger is cooked perfectly with crispy edges while still being juicy. The veggies are fresh and crunchy, and the mayo helps cut through everything while giving some needed creaminess to each bite. Burger Boy has an extensive menu that includes breakfast and late-night eats. The servers were lovely, and the food came up fast. The Fat Man says that Burger Boy is Fat Man Approved with 2 chins.

My friend and I felt like we weren't welcome in the establishment. We had spent the day moving him into his 3rd floor apartment and were a mess and starving. I think they assumed we were homeless or something, cuz they made us pay for our order at the same time we ordered, but the other customers paid at the end. And, even though we ordered it for dine in, they delivered it in take out containers, but missing condiments, plastic silverware, napkins, and a bag... they never returned to ask how our food was, to offer us drink refills, or ask if we needed anything else. They didn't even stay goodbye or thank us. First time there and I'm not impressed. Food was great but I probably won't return.

I absolutely love the food here, but to charge me to take my food to go is ridiculous! Also, the menu pricing is not up to date. As my receipt and amount paid didn’t reflect prices shown! Additionally, I ordered a side of fries (hoping to have an actual full order, not the same amount as in a combo) and the portion size is terribly small.

I come into this place almost every weekend picking up DoorDash orders. I always treat everyone with respect and even try to make small talk with all the employees if an opportunity is presented. Tonight I was told by an employee I was banned from the restaurant . I was shocked and embarrassed that this was said to me especially infront of all the customers as I just walked in. The employee who told me I was banned said I was mouthy with the manager and per her orders I was banned. I have never disrespected anyone . If anything ALL the employees that have seen me come here recognize me and even greet me upon seeing me. Even the employee who told me I was banned acknowledged seeing me before and knew I had never caused a problem before. I truly wished that the manager would have been the one to tell me to clarify the situation as I know I never disrespected her, never argued with her or anyone there and the only exchange of words I said tonight was “it looks like the crew you got working tonight is working better” (as the last new cooks she had working on a previous night were making mistakes and I helped the manager translate in Spanish what she needed, and the new crew I saw tonight was banging out orders fast and helping her as well). She responded “yea cz im the manager” and I said “you sure are”. I also said “thank you have a great night” after I took the doordash order as I do for every dash run no matter where I’m at. Not sure what was disrespectful about what I said but it’s disheartening to be treated this way. I am 100% sure they had the wrong person or she misunderstood what I said earlier. Either way there are ways to handle things and this wasn’t it.

Hello, Yesterday evening, more like 230 this morning. I ordered food and took it home. After taking one bite, I realized the burger wasn’t even remotely cooked on the inside. I have pictures if you’d like to see. My order was 287. I would like my order refunded please I just tried calling multiple times and the phone just goes to a voicemail that is not set up. Also, the gal working last night was extremely rude. I asked her multiple times for my order that was sitting right next to her, complete and she acted like she didn’t even hear me.
