Meal was very good, service was friendly. The decor and tables were dated, but in good condition and clean. Restroom was clean. Food was not especially spicy, some would call it a bit bland, sure, but it was very good.

Homemade feel good Mexican Food. I liked the way the rice was made. Reminded me of my mom’s rice. Beans were refried and flavored well. The cheese enchiladas were hand rolled and freshly made with cheese. Crispy taco shells were made fresh, but I could have used them a little more crispier. Chips were not homemade, but the salsa was. Had a nice garlic flavor to it. Come over for a quick lunch. I think you will like it. Feels Homey. Don’t look into the restaurant itself, it’s in need of a facelift, but the staff is super friendly and kind. One of the waitresses reminded me of my Abuela.

This is a wonderful hole in the wall Tex-Mex restaurant with great value and superb cooking. I come down from San Angelo to meet family that comes from Kerrville and 9 times out of 10 we choose Tia Nena's.

We were disappointingly underwhelmed by the flavor and quality of the food. It was surprisingly dry and bland, and the portions were fairly small for the price. Great, kind staff and quick service, though!

Plate was 21 dollars and soda 6 meat was hard and real hard to chew, chips were store bought, guacamole did not taste that good either and the girl beautiful but you could tell she did not want to be there. I ate by myself

The food was pretty good accept for the chicken. Anything beef was good such as the tacos and enchiladas my son and I had. My husband had chicken tacos and the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Rice and been were really good too. The restaurant is definitely dated and in need of a deep cleaning. No homemade flour tortillas or bottled water. The staff was nice but we probably won’t go back.

Place is rundown, which is ok, since some of the best places we've found aren't fancy but unfortunately the food was not worth the stop. Chicken enchiladas were bland. My 8 year old did like the children's taco plate. Salsa was great and saved the day because husband poured it on his food to be able to eat it with some flavor. There was food on the floor and not very clean but the server was very nice, friendly and we did receive our food very quickly.

The restrooms were really bad. Old grime toilets hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. But, we didn’t die or even get sick. Just be weary of the cleanliness. Service was rude and short. Didn’t have much interaction but appeared waitress was mad about something else. We paid said thank you and likely won’t go back. Decide for yourself just look at the walls and paintings when you get in… you tell me if you trust me review. Lol

After a few minutes they didn’t get us situated; therefore, we complain to the workers. After, a lot of discussion I realized the dissatisfaction they had for us as people. finally, they kicked us out without a saying or a reason so we decided just to go to mc Donald’s down the street.

Closed at 920pm on Saturday night with advertised closing hours of 10pm. I was disappointed they were completely dark, they should update their business hours. I saw two other people visit and discovered they closed early. From other reviewers, they don't seem to take their own business hours very seriously.
