I always order brown sauce veggie dishes. Most are good, some just okay….but the brown sauce at Fin is excellent! It is the best sauce I’ve EVER had. The staff were friendly and were working very hard. We had to wait a bit as there is a convention in town; it was well worth the wait. The place is pretty small, so expect a wait. But do it!
This place was great. I felt like having a bit more spice in my life and stepped from beautiful Orlando Florida to an authentic Thai eatery that does not disappoint. From the moment I walked in the friendly staff asked me how I was and showed me to a table immediately. I was there alone and I feel like I got just the right amount of attention from the staff they were there if I needed a drink refill and prompt with the food. I had a red curry with shrimp 🍤 and some delightful steamed pork dumplings 🥟. This place was great, the food took me out of Orlando and placed me right in Thailand. Super experience, definitely recommend.
I was really impressed with the Thai green curry at this restaurant. I ordered the shrimp version, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp were fresh, plump, and cooked just right, with a generous portion that felt worth the price. The curry sauce was rich and flavorful, with a smooth coconut base layered with fragrant spices. It wasn’t overly spicy, but had a nice gentle heat that built up gradually perfectly balanced and super addictive. Paired with a bowl of warm jasmine rice, every bite was comforting and satisfying. Beyond the food, the dining environment was also a pleasant surprise. The space was clean, well-organized, and not too crowded, which made it a relaxing spot for both solo meals and small gatherings. The staff were friendly and attentive, checking in at the right moments to see if we needed anything or how we were enjoying the food. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience—great flavors, a cozy and tidy space, and genuinely thoughtful service. I’ll definitely be back to try their pad kra pao or tom yum soup next time!
Sarah was absolutely lovely and displayed excellent customer service skills. Her cheerful and bubbly personality made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was so delicious and seasoned to perfection that I came back two days in a row.
We’ve been looking for a Thai restaurant for a long time, tried @Siam last night. I’m giving 5 stars, food was amazing. Their service was very good. Alisa served us, she was kind and respectful. Owner is very friendly and respectful. We enjoyed our food a lot plus point they serve halal. Had a great experience, definitely recommend to family and friends. Looking forward to try their other dishes.
Had a wonderful experience with the family at this restaurant located in the heart of I drive. We started with the crab wontons which were delicious and cheesy. We also had the shrimp in the blanket which was divine and fried to perfection. It was so good we ordered a second round. My son fell in love with Thai Tea. It tastes like a creamy Starbucks drink and is super yummy. I had the crab and shrimp fried rice and it was fresh, flavorful and fantastic. My mom had the salmon with extra coconut milk. She liked it, but I felt it was dry. My sister loved her drunken noodles with chicken. My son had pad Thai noodles with shrimp. It was tasty, but spicy. I appreciate that you can tell them your spice level so they customize to your pallet. Service was great and restaurant was clean. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend.
Authentic! Approved by real Asians! The green curry is the best, pineapple fried rice with shrimp is also good! Pad Thai is a little bit sweet but okay. Papaya salad is really good! Tom Yum soup is not bad! Summer rolls are so refreshing!!! Sticky rice with mango is great too! Servers are nice & friendly🥰
We had the Red curry and the tom kin soup... and for dessert we had the Thai custard with the coconut sticky rice. The soup was the large and it was huge and filled with vegetables!!! Very delicious. Especially that dessert. They were packed and busy. I sketched! It is a small place. Very casual. But very kind service and great food. I'm grateful. Thank you. Happy New year.
If you are looking for some authentic and tasty Thai food you are in the right place. The fried rice here is too good and a must try. Recommend trying this place when you crave for flavorful Thai food. A bit on an expensive side but definitely worth your buck.
At Siam in Orlando, Florida, is an absolute treasure for Thai food enthusiasts. It's hands down the best Thai cuisine I've ever tasted. This small local gem consistently serves up mouthwatering dishes that keep me coming back every time I visit Orlando. The volcano fish, three-flavored fish, combination fried rice, and Siam basil duck are all must-tries—each bursting with flavor and authenticity. For those who enjoy a spicy kick, opting for the Thai hot option will take your dish to the next level. At Siam truly delivers an unforgettable culinary experience that leaves me eagerly anticipating my next visit.
Great location. Service was a little spotty. You only have to provide a can and glass to serve a beer. Thai iced tea takes some preparation. Beer came way later. In my world beer trumps iced tea. Should be the first thing out. Food was very good though. Loved the Tom Ka Gai soup. One of my favorites and it was yummy. Appetizers very good. Sizzling duck was definitely sizzling and tasty. I'll go again.
The food was authentic and scrumptious! We had everything made vegetarian and they were able to accommodate. The drunken noodle was perfect with flavor in each bite. The noodles were not stuck together or mushy. The Siam basil, phad ginger, and param were flavorful as well! The atmosphere and service were great as well! They were pleasant and welcoming. Would definitely come again!
Pad Thai was excellent here,, Fried tofu was a perfect crunchy outside and soft inside. Chicken satay was good, my kid actually cleaned the plate. Golden fried snapper was satisfying with and the vehetables with it complement each other. Mango sticky rice was a good finish. They were nice even when we came 30 mins to closing time.
Authentic Thai food, and the chicken and beef are halal. No short of flavors, will leave you wanting more. I got the garlic and black pepper chicken, highly recommend, had me drinking the broth. Wife got the chicken pad Thai, recommend that if you’re a fan. Owner was super friendly. This is a must for halal foodies.
Great homemade soups and noodles. Loved our food from soup, to Ramen to curry dishes. A must try!
Stopped by, on a visit from Tampa. It was so nice to have really really good Thai food.
This was really food. Had the portal soup and the @siam duck. The was mild and very refreshing. They could have put a few more mushrooms in it though. The skin on the duck was very crispy and it came sizzling. I ordered medium spiced since other reviews said that the food wasn't really hot. Should have ordered mild. It was spicy but still very flavorful.
Food was really lovely and full of flavour. The service was also quick & friendly. Will certainly be coming again!
The place is peaceful and has a romantic atmosphere The food was full of flavor and culture And cooked to perfection Nothing over cooked Or undercooked Fresh vegetables mixed with the chicken and rice All I can say is I am now a fan of Thai food Family oriented place. I’m sure if you go You will not regret it I’m so ready to back and order a different plate I can still smell the aroma still
In town for a convention, and this was a lovely surprise around the corner from my hotel. Chill atmosphere and the food was delicious. Everything was light and fresh tasting( even the fried spring rolls weren’t greasy). Staff was very pleasant and friendly.
I always try to find small businesses when traveling, so I decided to try Siam Thai. I am glad I did. The food is authentic and delicious. The service is awesome. When traveling, I tend to find one restaurant and be generous with a tip. When he saw the tip, he told me, "this is too much!" (It wasn't), so they are extremely honest! Highly recommend.
I stopped by here after a work related conference, super hungry after hours of walk, talking, and participating on the exhibit floor. The smell was what attracted me in, and I am happy it did. As I was starving, I was worried that the portions wouldn't be too large, but after I got my 2 plate, I was quite satisfied. The soup I got was Tom Kah, and the dish was the Drunken Noodles. Both were delicious, the Tom Kah had plenty of mushrooms and chicken, and the drunken noodles were very tasty and filling. Will come back at some point
The place is wonderful. Great Thai food with an awesome customer service. From the owner/manager steve to the waiting staff, everyone is very accommodating. Food is freshly prepped and tastes great. Recommend reservation as it is usually full most days, which speaks of its quality. And for the Halal challenged, it’s Halal everything!
This was a great experience at this Thai restaurant. The service was great without having servers hovering over us. The food was phenomenal and the presentation was so good. Everyone in my party of four completely demolished the food before them down to the last drop. The serving sizes were a good size, and the food was cooked to perfection. I especially loved the rice molds that were used to create flowers and hearts. That was an extra step in the presentation that was well received. I would go back in a heartbeat to eat here. I had the Royal Seafood, chicken satay and Tom kha gai soup. My table mates had chicken pad Thai, tofu pad thai, and scallop green curry.
This is the only place I know of in Orlando that serves halal thai food (except the duck, afaik) We started with Tom Kha Gai soup, from the looks of which we were kinda skeptical but it was so damn hearty. We ordered Volcano beef, which if you want an idea of the taste, the sauce tastes like the sweet and sour sauce that you get in Chinese takeouts for fish/pork dishes. We were expecting it to be a little more spicy. We had the Siam Fish, steamed, which was okay but nothing super exciting. The panang curry and the dragon noodles were on the other hand, sth to die for. Absolutely loved these two dishes, would recommend in a heartbeat. I had a thai iced tea which was decent as well. Overall it gives the vibe of a traditional asian place with wooden tables and decor, which is rare in Orlando. Easily one of my top favorites in Orlando now.
Really nice meal, at a good location too. Portions are well sized, and tasted great. Went low carb and the salads are perfect, nice and sizeable with plenty of protein. Good authentic flavours. Avoid going too late to avoid disappointment of stuff selling out from their fresh menu.
We had the best dinning experience: great food, great customer service, and great atmosphere! The restaurant was very clean, restroom was impeccable. I was there with a couple of friends to have dinner. We had the duck salad, chicken green curry, chicken yellow curry, and seafood soup, we tried the Thai beer, and for dessert coconut ice cream...😋😋😋 I recommend this 💯%.
This Thai restaurant is amazing!!! So much favor and such amazing food! We’ve been here more than 6-8 times and we always leave beyond happy with the choices of food we order. We’ve order from Panag curry, Fried basil rice, Tom yum fried Friday and drunken noddles! All taste soooooo good!! The staff is always friendly and wonderful!
Visiting from out of state, we wanted something that felt like home. Stumbled upon this lovely sit down restaurant! Owners were very welcoming! After we got carried away & stayed a little longer after closing hours. For starters we got the chicken satay, nothing fancy about those just your average. What surprised us was our second appetizer and that was the crispy calamari. We didn’t expect it to be so good & the perfect texture just because of other thai restaurants (usually not a popular thai appetizer) but they really blew us away with there. Next for entree, we went with the chicken red curry with medium spice. Yes, their spice level is spicy so order with caution or none at all. We also ordered the laab (not pictured). It's considered a salad & I’m surprised sticky rice wasn’t included but it was very flavorful & filled our craving.
Excellent and authentic Thai cuisine. Chicken Satay was good, although I was surprise by cold peanut sauce. Not how I’ve had Satay anywhere else in the world before but very enjoyable. Main course of Chicken Panang. Spice levels can be chosen between mild and Thai hot; I had Thai hot and I can confirm it’s authentic Thai hot. Wow - it was certainly spicy!! Curry served with Jasmine rice which was in the shape of a heart. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable meal and highly recommended if you want authentic flavours.
Great Thai food at a convenient location close to Universal and hotels area. We went for dinner after a long tiring day at Universal. Reserved the table using google maps, reserve table option. There was no waiting time to get table on arrival. Service was good. Food came in decent time , though the restaurant was really busy at that time. Their dining area is not huge but they can still accommodate big group. We tried their soups, red curry, basil fried rice and seew noodles. Everything came up good.
I absolutely love this place & our waitress Prim was phenomenal! I ordered a water with lemon and she brought me new lemon in every glass of water she refilled for me and 2 in the water she gave me to go when I was done as it was a toasty Florida day. I ordered the Pinapple Fried Rice - Thai Hot. And they delivered! It was not only spicy, it was absolutely delicious! Best fried rice I've had in a decade! I even got to meet the master chef Ron in the back, who took the time to make sure I enjoyed my mean and answer some questions I had. I will definitely be back after and I suggest you do the same...
Solid spot that’s accessible to may hotels. SUPER prompt service. The pad Thai was great- they deep fry the tofu so it’s crispy. My friend got the chicken and that was also yummy. I got the lunch portion and it was plenty. Bonus they give you an egg roll and small salad with peanut dressing as an appetizer! They have 3 levels of heat listed on the menu or you can do Asian spicy. They have a hot sauce caddy with some yummy chili oil.
The food was absolutely divine! I had the red snapper volcano meal and the fish was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. My friends and I shared all of the deserts and I can't pick a favorite because they were all so good! If I'm in Orlando again, I will definitely be coming to eat here again!
The Pad Thai was delicious! Ron knows how to cook some good food. Our waitress Prim was fantastic. Excellent service all around. I will be definitely coming back.
Lovely food, our waitress prim was super attentive & run off her feet but still great! All food was delicious definitely recommend !
Very authentic Thai spot with a simple menu and dishes packed w flavor and heat. Our server Mike was outstanding, very attentive and helpful w the food recommendations 🤙🏾 Our food came out quick and hot, both ways 🌶️🔥😁 Very relaxed environment and prime for date night. It was a relief to see this place has regulars, too 💯
While I haven't had Thai food in a while, @ Siam Thai delivers excellent food. Nothing was too stand out but the "Volcano" is probably the best thing on the menu. I sampled the chicken volcano and it was just the right amount of spice to not linger. I had the duck today and it was quite good, but nothing too special. If you're looking for a quick Thai fix, you can't go wrong here.
This place use to be an At Siam and everything was delicious from the Thai Tea to the Green Coconut Curry. We decided to try it out even though they changed ownership. It just wasn’t the same. Thai tea was a bit watered down. Same goes with the green curry. It didn’t had the right taste either. Something about it being a lil soapy. Great service but food didn’t hit unfortunately.
We came to this place because it was listed as a singular $ on Google maps but according to the menu they're more $$ rank so that was a surprise. Following up was poor service, we order drinks and never received them, and the waiter seemed to be avoiding us. They would look at us and duck away to serve someone else. Also when i paid they didn't include a pen so we had to wait an additional 20 minutes so i could sign the check. Food was good, but I felt like my companion and I weren't wanted there.
I looked up this restaurant looking for some really good red snapper and the reviews were good. Unfortunately my experience wasn't the best. They didn't have any Red Snapper. So , I ordered an order of coconut shrimp as an appetizer to share which is an order of 6. She brought 5 and expressed that they went up on price and it changed from 6 to 5 they just hadn't changed the number on the menu..She eventually brought another coconut shrimp which I appreciated. The gluten-free menu was ok. There weren't many options Maybe it wasn't the best night for them. My friend enjoyed her tea and expressed that her rice was good.Though , I received no refills my friends experience was good
Had the garlic ginger duck. It felt fatty and not really to my taste. They ran out of glutinous rice. Had a few desserts. I liked the packet of fried bananas. I wasn't a fan of flash fried cheesecake, it didn't taste as good as fried ice cream because the structure is a bit disintegrated and it would have been better served with ice cream to balance out the fried batter. It was empty at 6pm but full house at 7pm.
We visited the restaurant for lunch on Friday. The restaurant was empty; it was just us. The ambiance was good. We ordered spring rolls, pineapple fried rice, panang curry, and regular fried rice. Since we're vegetarians, my husband requested no meat and asked for tofu instead. The waiter asked why are we repeating thrice, but after a few minutes, he returned and asked if we wanted tofu in the pineapple fried rice. The three pieces of spring rolls, each cut in half, tasted okay. We ordered both fried rice dishes mild. The pineapple fried rice tasted good, but the panang curry was extremely spicy due to the excessive chili flakes. The rice side portion size was just right, and I liked the presentation
One of the nearby walking distance asian food restaurants - At Siam Thai Cuisine. Great location along international drive. It is a cozy restaurant. Came here for dinner. The atmosphere is very chill. Staff were nice. Tried the drunken noodle and pad thai. The pad thai was more sweet and sour flavor which was new to me. I prefer drunk noodles to be more wide since this one is more thin. The spicy level was there.
Food was good, this was my second time there. but the service sucks. The waitress sucks. She was very rude, The restaurant is very small the waitress sat us at the worst spot. the restaurant had one customer and us . I change to a next table with a better view, keep in mind We were the first customer. She totally reacted negatively screaming at us infront all of the customers that came in later. instead of approaching me at my table. It’s very horrible being at a restaurant and being approached so aggressively. I will not visit this restaurant anymore. I will definitely advice the owner to put more thought into the employee customer service skills specially when speaking with customer. I will definitely give 0 on customer service.
Good Thai food but bring some patience. I was in the area for business. After I ordered my food I waited for 56 minutes before it arrived. One hour is my threshold so I was close to walking out. The wait staff was friendly but they avoid you while waiting for your food. I stopped back two days later since the food was good to try it again. This time there were two free tables but they told me it was going to be at least 30 minutes before they could seat me. I think it was because I was by myself and the open tables seated 4. So I went elsewhere.
The staff here is incredibly friendly — honestly, if good service could fill you up, I’d have left stuffed. The food tastes good, too, but it’s just too sweet, especially the Pad Kee Mao. Now, about the portions… The rice was so tiny — basically a handful — I thought it was a garnish at first. When I found out that an extra scoop cost $3.75, I almost needed a moment of silence. The dinner plates run $25 - $30, but the portions are so small you’ll leave feeling like you just ate a very expensive sampler :) There are tons of amazing places around, so unless you enjoy sweet dishes, tiny portions, and paying premium prices for rice you can count grain-by-grain… I’d explore other options.
I was extremely disappointed with the food at this restaurant. The beef in the beef salad was entirely inedible—every piece was impossibly tough to chew, and to make matters worse, it didn’t even taste like beef, which was quite alarming. The stir-fried dish I ordered only filled about half of the takeout box; while I wasn’t expecting it to be completely full, the portion was unreasonably small. I also ordered tofu, but there wasn’t a single piece included. The rice was hard and tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time. I really wouldn’t recommend this place. While I understand that prices in this area may be slightly higher, the quality here is truly concerning.
Ordered food and came out an hour later. According to the staff, the food is made on a one-by-one basis. Those who have the patience to wait should visit. While eating, take the finished bowl with you. And as he clears the table, he asks me to remove the napkin. Why did the waitress make me do what she was supposed to do? A service fee of 18% was added to the receipt. Of course I didn't pay a tip. Check your receipt carefully. This is the worst restaurant.
Well the atmosphere looks nice inside However the food, price, and Service were very subpar. I ordered a large soup and what I got to go look more like a normal size soup for $18 I would expect the equivalent of a volcano pot with of soup. But what I received looks like what you expect for a single serving $7.95. I asked to see the small and I could not even believe what it look like look like a cup of soup. The two sizes are shown side by side for comparison. You can't tell me the one on the right is twice as big, not even close, but it is $10 more?!!? To top it off the soup was very salty. Not anything like any normal Thai soup I've had around the world definitely will not be going back here
Arrived yesterday for my wedding anniversary meal , got to the restaurant to see 35 school children coming through the door. We was the only other table in here and would have been nice to have a heads up because we couldn’t hear eachother talk! They were SO loud and we didn’t even get an apology for the noise from the waitress or anything. Also we was the only other table in here , they took up the entire place. When asking for the bill just for drinks so we could head somewhere else we was greeted with a bad attitude by the small waitress saying that we should have knew this when booking! When group bookings of school children book in and you know they are going to be loud you should really give customers heads up. We are paying customers wanting a relaxing meal. Disappointing…
Well what can I say Utter terrible We made a reservation for 1800pm, on booking a few hours before hand there’s was plenty off availability On our arrival the restaurant was totally empty we was told to sit anywhere Once sat down we was greeted by a very rude waitress, about 5 minutes after us being there we was over crowded with around 50 kids and 2 teachers, the noise level was utter terrible and we could t even hear our conversation We was given well thrown at 5 cans of pop, treated like children with a straw Our Oder was taken by another abrupt female, straight after this we decided that we wanted to leave due to the service and noise I explained to the waitress what the issue was and the reply was the food was ready, my thoughts was wow never in this world was the food cooked in less than 5 minutes I explained that we will not be staying and the reply was it’s a restaurant and anyone can and be welcomed in, I understand this but tried to explain when we booked there was lots off availability, again the reply was rude and what we did know was that the group of kids had also booked the same time So why was it showing lots of availability on the site even tho there was no tables left I was told pay for the entire bill, with this I told them that the food can’t be cooked that quick and that we was prepared to pay for only the drinks the very rude waitress tried to argue with myself but got no where as another waitress came and said just pay for the drinks I can honestly say I’ve never been spoken to in such a manner before and will not accept this from anyone I myself work in the public sector and if I had an attitude or manor like that I’d except to be sacked from my position This was went to be an anniversary meal for my son and daughter in law, And unfortunately turned out not to be a nice experience We’ve bee eating out for the last 2 weeks and have never come across this kind off attitude before, this is not acceptable at all Jenny
I'm looking at my receipt, and can't believe I paid that much for so little, and they have the stones to suggest an additional tip on top of the normal tip on the receipt... N E V E R A G A I N ! I went there multiple times over the years before it was sold not too long ago, and had never been disappointed. This place used to be the closest to the quality I found in Thailand; not anymore. ************************* New name, new owners: prices went way up, quality went way down, atmosphere is nonexistent, and everything is sticky. They kept a few Thai knick-knacks on the walls, but that's it. It looks like a cheap, greasy, sticky Chinese buffet, and tastes like it, too. My food was insipid and oily, my friend's dishes were average at best, and the presentation was what you'd get at a $10 self-serve buffet: food slapped onto a cheap, ugly, bought-at-an-auction plate; just plop on the dish; uyk!

La Filosofía del Equilibrio: Lo que realmente distingue a la cocina tailandesa es su búsqueda del equilibrio de los cinco sabores fundamentales:
