Breakfast for 8 was easy here. Wait was minimal, service was quick and the food was great! The best part was the kids having their own menu that was basic and traditional, nothing over the top that overwhelmed the picky eaters. Views are great and the tables are properly spread apart to avoid bumping into each other and the staff. Prices are relevant to any local breakfast joint but better than your average resort price. You can enjoy mimosas as early as 7am which was a great starter for the day! Room charge was the easiest option for us.

Very good breakfast with a view. We enjoyed the French toast and smoked salmon bowl. The staff was friendly and helpful. Gave us a tip on where to get the best malasadas in Maui. 😃

Excellent breakfast and a great view of the ocean. They have a chef it seems, when Covid hit Hawaii most chef’s left the restaurants and replaced with line cooks. Also excellent service, prices but that Maui

We ordered several dishes and all of them was over expectation. Perfectly cooked scallops, potato brûlée was wonderful. I wouldn’t say no to more lobster in the lobster noodles but what we got was delicious. The drinks was good balanced and the service was good.

The food was honestly outstanding! My family and I have been to so many restaurants along Kaanapali and I am so happy to have found this one, it is such a gem. Thank you Jacob for being such a great server, too!

Came here for breakfast every morning. Shoutout to John for being the best waiter we could have asked for. He was so kind, remembered our order every morning, and never made us feel rushed. Also, the avocado toast is what dreams are made of. HIGHLY recommend. A little expensive but the quality of food is top notch.

Read about the Dinner buffet in a travel magazine. I normally use google reviews as a filter and probably would have passed this one by as it had a lower than average rating. Local ingredients prepared by local chefs. Bring your appetite. No line ups or waiting around. Dont park at the beach though... cuz it gets locked at 7:00.

The property that this restaurant is located on is absolutely gorgeous 💯!!! The staff was amazing 🤩 and the French toast is exquisite!! My husband and I come to Maui at least once a year and we will definitely be back!! Mahalo🤙🏼

We had three exceptional meals here. This included two dinners (one was the buffet) and the champagne Sunday lunch. Food is very tasty with a lot of seafood and salads. But the breakfast buffet isn't good. The servers are lovely.

They have a really good breakfast menu here. I really liked the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. The staff was very professional and helped us make our decision. We will definitely be going back during our stay

Breakfast was as amazing as view of ocean! Avocado toast and Breakfast Bento were INCREDIBLE! Guarantee you will not find anything this good on the whole island for breakfast! Ingredients are incredibly fresh with an amazing creative culinary touch! Visit to the hotel is worth it too! Design and atmosphere are amazing! Best cup of coffee entire week on Maui!

10 starts for customer service. Ryan provides absolutely outstanding hospitality. He is friendly, professional, courteous and always on top of things. Food doesn't come out cold, glasses say full and he is always ready with a suggestion and a smile. Ryan's personality and work ethic are exemplary. Promote this man into leadership positions.

Beautiful dining experience — we were lucky to get a reservation! Our own fault we were late, however they were kind and graceful and still accommodated our dinner party. Leisurely meal pace, which is expected and appreciated on the islands (if you’re in a hurry you should alert up front). Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive and checked in frequently. Server Shawn was wonderful. I ordered the Scallop Risotto, which may have won the prize for the best meal of the week on Maui! Others ordered Prawns, and Curry dish… all rave reviews. Great kids options, and our picky eaters definitely approved! Would definitely return, and definitely recommend!

Right there at Nanea, nicer dining environment than Auntie's Kitchen or Pailolo. Thursday night is their ribeye special.

Service was good, dinner was great, breakfast was great. I’d recommend the buffet whilst my wife would recommend the salmon eggs Benedict for breakfast. Dinner, the highlights were the Wagyu burger and sirloin. My wife raved that the steak was prepared better than any steakhouse she has been to. 5/5 (expect high prices as with anything in Maui in the tourist areas) - Tristen

We had the Ahi poke nachos, replacing the shrimp chips with rice - so delicious! And the brussel sprouts were perfectly done. Lovely patio dining. Very nice in every way. Drinks are on the pricy side -as is typical in Maui restaurants.

Cozy atmosphere for dinner, when we sat next to small ponds with colorful 🐠 fish. The service was kind and attentive and the food was delicious - tender chicken on Belgian waffles, Asian short ribs (big portions of slow cooked meat) and Coconut 🥥 curry.

I absolutely love my Sundays off. What made it even better was an impromptu text I got asking if I wanted to do brunch with part of my gang. Oh yes, please! ATMOSPHERE: Located within the Westin Nanea Ocean Villas, the open-air space is the hotel's sole restaurant. Every table has a view of either the hotel grounds, pool or ocean. Live music serenaded us throughout our brunch. The vibe was relaxing, cool and laid back. BRUNCH: To start off, mimosas were available in four flavors - orange, pineapple, guava and passion-orange-guava (POG). My friend and I had infinite amounts of the guava version which had the perfect sparkling wine to juice ratio and got us very relaxed. For the buffet, I started off with king crab legs as I wanted to get down and dirty before having breakfast selections. The crab legs were chilled and tasted fresh. They're not pre-cracked so you have some work to do! Cocktail sauce was available but I ate them plain as they had a perfect amount of salt flavor. I had a couple pieces of tako pokē as well, which were surprisingly good with a firm texture and nice amount of seasoning. The scrambled eggs were the only disappointment as they were gritty, possibly due to being actual Egg Beaters or mixed with it. The broiled salmon with Hamakua mushrooms was really moist and tasty, covered in a fresh garlic/oyster sauce mixture. Sides of Portuguese sausage, bacon and fingerling potatoes were good. Other selections available that I didn't have were locally-grown and organic salads and cheeses, prime rib, breads, fruits and desserts. TIP: Unfortunately there was no omelette station and the only reason why this review isn't five stars. SERVICE: Hostess greeting was immediate, professional and friendly. Servers took excellent care of us. Our mimosas were constantly refilled and we were checked on throughout our experience. And best of all, we never felt rushed out and stayed till closing time at 2pm. OVERALL: Chill ambiance, good food and service equals a definite return.

We had açaí bowl and vegetable omelet for the breakfast. The portion was decent and tasted good. The food was pricey for the portion size

Nice setting at one of the beach side resorts. Waitress was very nice and the food was good. Menu is typical pool/beach grub. I'd describe as more of a bar with a restaurant attached.

Location is incredible, ocean views. Not much vegan options. They offer some vegetarian salads but that's about it. It is quite an upscale dining experiences.

Breakfast buffet was alright, though not the spread I would have expected for the cost. If you're staying at the hotel, you get a voucher good for one breakfast (for one person) each day you decline room service.

Late post from Nov 2024 experience : Had dinner there since we were staying at Nanea and saw poster that they had prime rib special that evening. Setting was beautiful and service warm and friendly. Food was pretty good. Some of the vegetables seemed old and therefore chewy. Overall it was an enjoyable meal.

I stayed at the resort where this restaurant is so I thought we’d try it bad move I had steak & Brussel sprouts under cooked and the steak with mushrooms. Let’s just say the mushrooms was the best part of my meal. My wife enjoyed her butterfish that’s why I gave this place 3 stars.

The food was fine but you order at the counter and your food is in disposable containers with plastic silverware. Somehow eating Eggs Benedict out of a plastic container loses something . I won’t go back .

OVERPRICED BREAKFAST BUFFET - But decent place for dinner if nearby Duke's restaurant is booked. Find it right off the walking path connecting all the beach front resorts by the Westin Nanea Ocean Villas.

The service was way below par Food was decent, but server didnt take the order right. While we ordered it started raining and part of our table getting the rain, the server didnt agree to move us to a different table. Order took too long to deliver and was partially messed up. We were given bill of a different table. Overall annoying experience. Not matching even a bit with the overall good experience of Westin resort

Our waiter was good. He checked in periodically. The food was fine, but I will not be going be back. My rice was unevenly cooked and my vegetables were over cooked.

Service and food were not what I expected from a Westin property. Definitely sub-par and over priced

M

Overpriced menu, small servings, and lazy service.

Nice location, views and interiors. Service is awkward and extremely slow. Kitchen is overpriced and funny (share plates is a joke). Place is almost empty during dinner hours while neighboring Duke’s has 1 hour + wait list.

Your basic hotel breakfast. Had a big juice menu that they couldn't make. Very small menu and only open 7 to 10am. No lunch or dinner

Mediocre at best. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a great dinner, this is NOT the place. SafLve yourself the hassle and pick another place. I don't understand how this place has a 4 out of 5 review. My 2 out of 5 is generous.

It was my son’s birthday and our last night in Hawaii. So I wanted the night to be special and it wasn’t. First of all they sat us near the live Music so the people sitting near it couldn’t hear any of the conversation. The drinks were fine. The appetizers were very good, coconut fried shrimp and the pot stickers. Then they served my one grandson his meal when no one else got there’s until after the appetizers. The meals were ok but not great. The seared tuna was not seared and extremely spicy. My son’s curry was half cooked rice and mushy vegetables. It was very expensive for an ok meal.

2 Bloody Mary’s (for dine in but they came in SMALL plastic cups) were $42 (before tip) they came with a small lime wedge and a pepper. This was probably the most disappointing Bloody Mary I have ever had, worse than a dive bar and 3x the cost. This is a super expensive resort and THIS is the quality they have? Incredible, will NOT be going back. Going to try Dukes next door even though we are staying at this hotel.

Awful meal. Ordered the New York steak. Good majority was fat. Made me sick after. Service was slow and for the price point incredibly disappointing.

M
Michael Hilborn

The breakfast buffet is extremely disappointing! They charge $29 for limited selection, poor quality and they don't keep the food stocked. Always had to wait fir the pancakes, bacon.

Photos of Dinner offerings are tired. A corporate trained Pastry Chef will elevate everything I’m seeing: ‘A rising tide raises all boats.’ Is the Food and Beverage Director even the building? Maybe not on weekends? He / she needs to be. Hard truth: People, always, eat with their eyes and spend accordingly. Weak showing for internet driven business offerings.

Wow, what a letdown. Went to Brunch about 1:15 PM, and the buffet was pretty picked over. It appeared that everyone working was counting down to close the buffet, but they were supposed to be open until 2:00 PM. Some dessert and side items were not stocked well enough to accommodate us 'late comers'. There was also very limited supply of salad and/or fruit and dessert items. Other items on the hot side that were suppose to be fresh made, were dry and unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber (Lobster Mac). Breakfast consisted of Scrambled Eggs and Cheese Blintzes, with some Sausage and Potato dishes that did not look appealing enough to even try. Plus when I went back to the hot side selections, someone had already pulled the signs telling which items were in which pans (this was before 2:00). The Poke bar had a nice variety, but all the items were very bland and flavorless, and had a sticky texture. The octopus was too tough to eat. The Crab legs had one claw left and a lot of smaller pieces, but we managed to enjoy what was left. As far as bottomless mimosas, it was hard enough just to get two. We also had to ask for crab utensils and wet wipes, which should be given unsolicited. When I arrived to the carving station there was no one there, so I helped myself to a piece of Prime Rib, which was already sliced. The chef/cook arrived shortly thereafter and gave me a slice of Salmon. Quite frankly, having only two items at the carving station for Sunday Brunch is very disappointing. In fact the selection overall for the entire buffet was dismal for a cost of $50 per person. I have gotten better food and better selection at my local Hometown Buffet. Save your $50 and eat elsewhere on your vacation.

Got seated and a couple minutes later ordered drinks. Sat for another 10 minutes and the waiter never came back to take our order or give us our drinks. While waiting I cased out everyone's food. Didn't look like you got much for the price. We got tired of waiting and left. Seems like a great atmosphere which is such a waste because this part of the boardwalk needs more good restaurants.
