A great stop for a quick cup of joe, and a breakfast sandwich. They offer all the coffee classics, some pastries, breakfast sandwiches and other light fare. The prices are great for this area and food and coffee fantastic.

Very sweet artisan coffee place with beautiful view but small - for small groups

It’s a cozy shop at the end of a hallway. Ordered two iced caramel cortado’s that were made perfectly. There are a few inside seats but what really makes this place special is their lakeside balcony. Sat out there every morning at 7a enjoying the view!

I LOVED this place. Obviously, nothing beats the view. I had their featured drink — an “Almond Joy” latte — and an egg and cheese sandwich on everything bagel. That was three days ago and I’m still thinking about this breakfast, it was so good.

It’s a beautiful place, with a spectacular view, I loved the coffee, my favorite was the caramel latte. Its owners are very attentive and friendly. In my opinion it should be a mandatory stop when you visit Lake Placid.

I never order lattes because I never quite like them. I usually find them too liquidy. I randomly thought I would try a vanilla latte here, and it was BY FAR the best one I’ve had in forever. So creamy and slightly foamy. The view was impeccable I ended up staying for 2 hours. The barista was lovely. And I also chatted with other clients. Overall a very good vibe with amazing coffee and of course the view!

The caramel macchiato was great! It’s the perfect balance between the caramel flavoring and the coffee. The iced latte was great as well. It has sort of a woodsy taste to it (in a good way). Just the right amount of sweetness. The view also can’t get much better than this. The service was amazing. They helped us find exactly what we were looking for and they served us our coffee right to our seat. And again the view is just unbeatable.

I recommend getting there early so you can enjoy your coffee overlooking the lake. My husband and I were on a mission to try all the local coffee shops but the lavender haze coffee kept us coming back to The Coffee Bar. A must try for coffee lovers!

This was my favorite spot visiting lake placid.. nothing beats a good cup of coffee with beautiful view of the lake My daughter grabbed a hot chocolate and we just sat out and enjoyed our best part of the day

Delicious coffee, delicious food, and a great view? Who could ask for more?? This was a great find during our trip to lake placid. I opted for their specialty almond joy latte, which was soo good! We got 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, one on a plain bagel and one on an everything bagel. Both were amazing. Will definitely be returning to lake placid in the future and will be sure to return here, too!

We arrived at few minutes before closing so we were the last guests. The cofee was good but not exceptional. It is a major turn-off if the cappuccino or espresso is served in a paper cup when you consume it on site. A coffee bar should not do that. Other than that, it is a typical place for a coffee in a touristy location.

Rustic little coffee shop with best views in Alpine Mall. Has coffee and tea, fruit smoothies, and basic breakfast and lunch offerings. Food and coffee aren't showstopping, but are simple and hearty, and the atmosphere is really nice, especially if you can snag a seat on the patio. Service is a little slow since they tend to be understaffed.

Loved the tiny balcony. Great way to start our morning. The breakfast sandwiches were okay, but I’m also a big breakfast sandwich girl. The americano was very good.

We had two Breakfast sandwiches, one iced latte, and one chai tea. The prices were great, the service was fair, the atmosphere was cute but lots of boxes and surplus supplies cluttering the area. The view out of the patio was to die for though!!!!!! Highly recommend for that lake view alone!!

Asked my kids what they want and they told me that since they came in the guy behind the bar. Seems the owner was looking at them in very strange way and made them uncomfortable. We end up only getting sandwiches for my son and wife since I refuse to order when the service is this much pathetic. Food was okay. Not that great but not bad. That what my wife and son told me. We never went back again during our stay

Staff member was extremely rude. I venture to Lake Placid often. I will never return to this coffee shop.

Came for a coffee at 3:55. Rudely told we are closed. When I pressed, can I please have a coffee. They said they were out of milk. Maybe they should adjust their hours to 3:45 if they want to leave early

I am Big on friendly service. Nothing kills a repeat customer like poor service. Whoever the guy is that works/owns this place needs to be replaced. I wouldn’t go back here again if it was the only coffee place in town. If the coffee was good I didn’t notice due to the terrible taste in my mouth from the shoddy service.

10/10 views. 1/10 customer service. I didn’t like how the man working mansplained what a flat white was to me after I had just waited 25 minutes for a coffee. I was a barista in Australia where a flat white and a latte got the same amount of milk, the difference was in amount of air you let into the milk when steaming (hence why a flat white is flat milk). I ordered a cortado and was caught off guard when I asked for a little more milk and he said “order a flat white next time”. Again, I had just waited TWENTY FIVE minutes for a coffee. I could’ve gone without the attitude. Especially because everytime I’ve ordered a flat white in the past it’s been made with too much milk so forgive me for trying to err on the side of caution.
