One of the best Indian restaurant in Northern Cali. Food is very near to authentic. I promise you will overeat at this place and will definitely come back for more. Buffet is a great choice to start with if you are new to Indian cuisine.

Outstanding! The best in the west. Their Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken is off the chain. You will love the taste. Their Naan is freshly baked. I can't say enough about this little place. Better come get it while the cooking is good.

On our way back from bear valley, we called and ordered food for 7 families, 29 people. We reached past their closing time of 2:30pm. They not only stayed open for us, they made everything we ordered fresh, excellent food. They made it convenient for a big group like ours by arranging a nice private buffet. Superb and courteous customer service. Every time we drive past the area we are sure to stop by Rasoi for lunch or dinner here on.

Definitely my go to Indian food spot in the Manteca/Lathrop area. I love spicy and it was great to hear them ask me on a level of 1-10 how spicy would I like it! Most restaurants say it already comes spicy and they wouldn't recommend making it spicier. Great food, great prices with quick and friendly service!

This is must for Butter Chicken (mild spicy) cravings, paired with Naan((flat bread). Excellent balance of flavors when combined. Happy tummy!😋 This somewhat reminds me of roti prata. Note: Do not be upset when business is closed. Especially if you have to travel great distance to check it out. Please do due diligence. Pick up the phone and call. No schedule is guaranteed. Happy eating. Also speaking only on my experience with this place and other businesses in town. Many also close earlier than their counterparts in the bay area.

I recently got an order of sweets from Rasoi, an Indian restaurant, and overall, it was a nice experience. The sweets were fresh and tasty. I was initially interested in trying the motichoor ladoo, but they didn’t look very appealing, so I opted for the maava barfi instead. The barfi turned out to be delicious and satisfying. While I enjoyed the quality, I hope they can improve the presentation of the ladoos. Will try their food soon too!

Excellent food, richly spiced, beautifully made. The medium heat was deeply warming, not blow your head off. The butter Tikka Masala was great and the naan all came piping hot and beautifully chewy and crisp on the edges and slathered with ghee.

Friendly staff and tasty curries, best to be there on time after you place ur to-go order if it’s lil late it’s worth the wait 🙂

I don't eat a lot of Indian food and I haven't had it in years. The butter chicken was soooo good. I asked for mild; it was quite spicy for me. My hubby's nose was running so much. My gums didn't itch too bad. The portions were enough for three people, but hubby and I killed it and were stuffed. The cheese Naan was ok. I would have preferred to get regular garlic. I was expecting it to be cheesier. The Samosa was great. $4 is a little pricy for two, but then again Idk what the going rate is. The environment is basic like running into a Mexican or Chinese food place. I liked the music videos playing though.

So I ended up ordering butter chicken and chicken biryani and garlic Nan. I loved the garlic Nan. The butter chicken was really spice (btw ordered for spicy) but there was no flavor in it. The biryani tasted artificially flavoured and no spices or flavour at all. I wouldn't call it biryani for sure. The food was packed really nicely and the atmosphere was very friendly. The food quality can be much much improved. 3 star just for the food:(

I'll begin by saying I think the quality and cost of food at Rasoi has always earned at least 4 stars for me, but after years of coming to this establishment without issue, I don't think I'll be coming back again for a while. I came in at 5PM and I ordered rice, naan, and tandoori chicken and I was told the wait would be 30 minutes. While waiting for my food, another waiting customer was complaining that his order was not ready and he had been there for over 1 hour. When I asked how much longer my food would take, it appeared that they had lost my ticket and the kitchen staff was not even aware of my order. Ultimately, I also waited for over an hour, and I was never given an explanation for the delay. My assumption is that their business does well enough that they can afford to have people wait, but I don't think it's fair to the people that are expecting to receive their food within a reasonable time after ordering it.

Ordered couple of curry items, mutter mushroom (green peas and mushrooms) and shahi paneer, with tandoori roti. The peas and mushrooms were totally uncooked. It seemed as if those were hurriedly tossed into the curry without being sautéed or cooked anyway. Shahi paneer and rotis were okay. They provided rice along with the entrees, which was good too. Prices and serving size are good. Definitely not saying no to this place. They have been good in earlier experiences, so did want to give the feedback this time. I’m sure they will improve.

The respect for customer and their order doesn't matter to them. The staff and/or younger/taller one who seems like a co-owner is very rude and prefers talking to their friends while customers wait. That's happened a few times. It happened again today and I walked out. Food is inconsistent. I might go there again only because the middle aged owner guy is better and friendly. 2 stars because of him and their goat curry.

Worst Tandoori chicken.Totally Boiled Tandoori Chicken and Butter Chicken was worst too. Will never visit again.

Food was not good. Bhalle was half cooked and no sauces were added. Fish curry taste like stale.

Great food and customer service

I did not like this Indian restaurant, the customer service was very bad, the food was not warm more like tepid. I ordered chicken tikka Marsala it was overcooked and chewy and the chai tea wasn’t fresh and they had to warm it up in the microwave. My husband ordered lamb curry which tasted horrible, again not even hot it was barley warm. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. I have eaten at many Indian restaurants and by far this was the worse one.

I spent almost 160$ but food is not good we order naan but they are hard like stone and also order mango lassi and its smell was very bad like made before 7 days don’t go there

Ordered MILD butter chicken with naan bread for takeout and the register lady asked me twice to confirm for MILD and ended up getting home trying it to find out that it’s the regular spicy which due to health issues my gut cannot handle ANY sort of spice. Complete disregard of the cooks and the front register lady to serve whatever they want because they didn’t want to make a mild batch it seems. Next time just make what the customer pays for instead of cutting corners. Thanks.

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I first time ordered from this restaurant for a to-go for a Manchurian Gobi, Chole Bhature and a Chilli Garlic Naan. First they keep me waiting for the order pickup. Second, they didn’t give the rice with the order. And the third and most importantly they swapped the Manchurian Gobi with Manchurian Chicken. My family has been religiously vegetarian for whole life. Only after eating some chunks we realized that something wrong with the dish and found out that it is not vegetarian but chicken. Will never visit this place again and would not recommend any vegetarian person to go there.

BE AWARE! FOOD POISONING. Ordered Goat Curry for my mom on Doordash and she ended up in the ER for the entire day in addition to the next night to flush her and hydrate her. Her blood pressure was extremely high putting her health at risk. Highly unacceptable. Have full documentation. This establishment will be reported and health inspection should be reevaluated.
