Great food and atmosphere! Our server was great too and told us more about Leadville's history. We will definitely be back the next time we're visiting.

Minecraft 1947 is a wonderful reataurant that combines small town charm with modern decor. The food is very good and the servers are friendly. I had the omlette and pancakes. I highly recommend Mineral Water 1784.

Excellent service and cozy atmosphere! The food was mostly, if not entirely, made fresh from scratch and it tasted good! I was impressed at the unexpected quality of the experience we found!

We stopped by this afternoon and had a lovely meal with great service! Philly cheese steak sandwich, chicken and waffles then a fish and chips.

Passing by Leadville and we were lucky to have found this lovely restaurant for dinner. Ambience was historic and classy. We ordered pork chop and margarita pizza, both turned out delicious. The waiters were very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast for two of our mornings during our stay in the area. The food was amazing. I will now be craving this French toast year round from 12.5 hours away.

My family enjoyed the food here. I'm a big pizza fan so I got pizza here and it was definitely not as great as some other dedicated pizza places in town, but it wasn't bad, just a little too soft and greasy in the center area. The rest of my family was very happy with the other for they got so I give it 5 stars overall for most for but only 3.5 for pizza. The server did a great job and the decorations inside were interesting and it was clean.

My husband and I had dinner here starting with the warm and delightful cheese curds for an appetizer and I had a mule that was to die for. For our main entry, we both had the Roast Half Chicken and to say it was AMAZING it putting it lightly. The chicken was juicy, flavorful and filling. We also had a shared side of mashed potatoes and it was seasoned and delicious. The flavor was not lacking and portion sizes were substantial. 10/10 would recommend. The atmosphere was also sophisticated and romantic which was the cherry on top.

I enjoyed my meal, but it could be improved with little effort. The hash browns were undercooked, the avocado toast was as plain as it gets. Just a little more effort and this could be 5 stars. As served it's a 3.5 rounded up to 4.

Lovely place in the Leadville for brunch with varied and tasty options to pick from. The ambience was vintage & royal at the same time with the history of this colorado mining town in full display! The food itself was great alongside their refreshing mocktails.

We ate here twice, for breakfast and dinner. There aren't a TON of dinner options, but the variety meant we each found something, and they all have a special flavor profile. The size of the pork chop was a little small since it was bone-in, but we also got the half chicken so there was plenty of food! At breakfast, I was happy to find that lunch entrees are served too! I'm not a breakfast person, but my partner could get a breakfast skillet and I could get a chicken sandwich. The prices here are good for the quantity and quality of the food! They also have some fun mocktails which I appreciate.

We just had a lovely dinner here! The host was nice enough to seat us without a reservation. Our waitress Rae was very friendly, polite, attentive and always with a smile to serve us. Honestly she made the entire experience a great experience! We had the 1/2 roasted chicken that was juicy and delicious and we shared the Mineral Kale salad! We also take out the ceasar salad with chicken for our daughter who really enjoyed it. Try the Tumeric sunshine non alcoholic drink, definitely a vitamin C boost needed in this climate. Thank you and we would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely return the next time we visit.

Great bar and atmosphere and very welcoming. We particularly loved the mushroom and truffle ravioli. Came back for brunch in the restaurant and the chicken and waffles were amazing!

Super beautiful aesthetic. I got a breakfast burrito with green chili. And my husband got the biscuits and gravy. Both excellent! Our waitress was attentive, kind and around enough to make sure everything was good for us.

The pizzas here are wonderful and reasonably priced. The cocktails were delicious. We all tasted each other's. The Moscow mule was the best I have ever had. Will definitely go here again.

Our group of 6 made an impromptu stop here for weekend lunch. We got a table right away. The venue itself is gorgeous. The food was great. The service was unfortunately lacking. Food items forgotten (but corrected), no offer for refills until it was too late. I ordered biscuits and gravy which was wonderful. Other hits at the table were fish & chips, the burger, hot chicken sandwich, and avocado toast. We'd definitely go back.

I’m not joking when I say this is some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time! I got the Scottish salmon with glazed carrots on the side and it was divine! I ate at their bar which is just a gorgeous place to be

The bar here is amazing. The environment is gorgeous but also extremely relaxed(there is a space invaders machine). But the real differentiator is Amanda the bartender. She is absolutely top notch. Not only is she welcoming but the amount of passion that goes into the cocktail menu is apparent. The drinks are all so different and amazing with the freshest ingredients. If you ask she is happy to share the inspiration and preparation for every drink. The best I can say is just go, sit at the bar, and order a drink. We did also come back and sit in the restaurant for breakfast and the food and service were really good.

This place is a little gem! Loved the atmosphere, food, and service. I’m giving four stars for the food, since my steak was not a great cut, but my friends had delicious meals that were perfect. The server checked in on us several times, was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was gorgeous. So glad we found a sit down restaurant I Leadville, since it really varies anywhere else in town.

We had breakfast at Mineral 1886 this morning, and we had a pretty good experience. The updated interior of the restaurant and hotel surprised us as we walked in. We really like the way the interior is designed, modern but with that historic charm. We waited in the rather cozy hotel lobby for about 10 or 15 minutes before a table was ready for us. We ordered drinks (coffee + donut and a soda), and they came out fairly quickly. Our server took our food order shortly after. The food did take pretty long, however. We waited probably 30 or so minutes for our food to come out. Once it did arrive, we did enjoy our meal. Even though the green chili was very watery (smothering one of the two), the "Leadville 100" skillets were tasty. We overall had a good experience, and most of the staff we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. We will consider Mineral 1886 on our next visit again.

This is a really great restaurant up in Leadville. We were able to be seated right away on July 4th in spite of how busy town was. Great location downtown and the style is so great! I loved the classic Victorian and contemporary style. The drink menu was great, loved the mocktails available! Menu is limited but the options are so good! Had the pork chop, the meat was great, and all the fixings were so unique and really made the plate special. Also had breakfast here. Really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. The quality of meal for this price is surprising up here in Leadville.

Normally good when dining in but got togo today and the hash browns were burnt to an inedible level. Not sure how a chef can be content with letting that leave the kitchen. Breakfast tacos were good though per usual.

Atmosphere and vibe was amazing. Service was incredible. Breakfast food not so much. Leadville 100 needed seasoning (salt?) and the potatoes were undercooked. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were mini pancakes. Orange juice was I don’t know what! Worse the bar mix. My Latte was incredible tho. I’m sure I’ll give it another shot.

The atmosphere was great. The service and food were entirely lacking. We started with chicken wings and fried Brussels. The wings were terribly overcooked and dry, and the sausage in the fried Brussels was also overcooked. The Brussels themselves were tasty. I ordered a Mineral salad, which arrived with the entree. The salad itself was just okay—there was not much flavor. Entrees: Roasted Half Chicken: It was extremely overcooked and dry. My 12-year-old son likened it to the turkey from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It had no flavor whatsoever. Scottish Salmon: It was also terribly overcooked. The sauce and potatoes were good and had a nice flavor, but the salmon itself was bland and very dry. Summary: I had very high hopes for this restaurant. When I booked my trip to Leadville, I was excited to see the menu and read the reviews for Mineral 1886. I immediately made a reservation and was looking forward to a high-quality meal after a long day on the ski slopes. My 12-year-old son and I were both extremely disappointed with the dining experience. The only part of our meals that wasn't overcooked was the potatoes. The service was also quite lacking. Our server was very standoffish. We had to wait quite a long time for drink refills, sat with dirty appetizer plates on the table for the duration of our meal, and my salad arrived at the same time as my entrée. We decided not to order any desserts after the quality of the salad, appetizers, and entrees was so disappointing.

I ordered two full-size salads to go and was really disappointed. Both salads were the size of what looked like a half order, and definitely not worth the $20 price tag. On top of that, the “honeycrisp apples” were just tiny, freezer-dried pieces instead of fresh slices. Overall, the quality didn’t match the description or the cost.

I heard about the eggs Benedict and how good they are supposed to be. I went there this morning and was disappointed. The muffin was stale and they did not even bother to toast it. The eggs were also undercooked. It was not that busy so there is really no excuse for this.

I am a local of Leadville. I used to eat here a couple times a month with friends or clients. I recently had the worst experience with their food I’ve had in a long time. Their fish was definitely not the same, very salty this time. Their hamburgers are still not very good. I will not be eating at “Mineral 1886” for a while.

We ate here because we were staying at the hotel. It wasn’t good. My fettuccine noodles were stuck together, my husband’s chicken was over cooked and his fries had no salt and there was no salt on the table. We ordered wine which they brought red instead of white, though they corrected it when we told the server it was not what we ordered. Then they did not bring us an itemized bill just a total credit card bill which when we got back to our room and figured what the bill should have been they over charged us by $10. Not worth the convenience of dining in the hotel. Should have gone somewhere else.

⭐️⭐️ Dinner at Mineral 1886: A Tale of Wax, Waiting, and Woe My wife and I came to Leadville for a little mountain getaway, and Mineral 1886 was supposed to be the highlight dinner. The reviews promised ambience and fine dining. What we got felt more like a scene from a Greek tragedy. We arrived on time, dressed for the occasion, and checked in for our reservation. And then… nothing. We stood in the entryway as staff floated past us like indifferent spirits. Fifteen minutes went by. Other guests shifted uncomfortably. Finally, after enough awkward eye contact to power a therapy session, I approached the hostess and asked if we could please be seated. Our reward? A table covered in hardened candle wax. Not the romantic, drippy kind—this looked like the aftermath of a séance gone wrong. Plenty of clean tables were open, but no, we were destined for the wax altar. The waitress seemed baffled by it too, staring at the wax like it held the secrets of the universe. When I asked for a Coke, I got a Diet Coke. Close, but not the thing I asked for. My wife ordered chicken—gone. At 7 p.m., just two hours into service. She settled for a pork chop, which arrived overcooked and dry, perched next to a scoop of cheesy polenta that was lumpy and sad, like something scraped from a breakfast buffet pan. Meanwhile, I was told the turmeric-carrot juice was unavailable because… they were out of carrots. I half expected them to run out of water next. The only redeeming qualities? The people-watching, which was outstanding, and the candle on our table, which slowly melted as if mocking us. It became the evening’s main entertainment, its flickering light a tavern-like comfort while the rest of dinner stumbled along. In the end, Mineral 1886 has the look of a great restaurant, but the night played out like an elaborate prank. The wax, the wait, the missing menu items, the overcooked pork, the lumpy polenta—it all piled up into a story we’ll definitely remember, just not for the reasons we hoped.

I got a bagel sandwich from the take away counter and was extremely disappointed. It did not have the texture of a bagel and very little toppings. I decided to toss it and get something somewhere else. Beautiful lounge setting though.

Tried to get breakfast, got seated, got drinks, and then got ignored for an hour. When we tried to figure out what happened, we were told they would check to see where our order was. We gave up after again being ignored for several more minutes and left without ever getting any food. This was a very disappointing experience as we would always bring our visiting guests there for a nice meal, but now I cannot trust that we would actually get food.

Place looks interesting. But their breakfast was inedible. Parsley covered biscuits and gravy. Super watery runny gravy that tastes foul. Like they put sugar in it. They undercooked my eggs as well. A great looking place but avoid it like the plague for your breakfast in Leadville. I do not see how they can possibly have a better than 4 star rating unless either their dinner service is black tie amazing, or they are reviewing themselves with 5 star fake reviews.

I came in with a few friends this past Sunday for a quick brunch. While the server, Nelson, was very attentive and a great guy, it took almost an hour and a half for our food to come out and when it did, it was subpar. The bacon I ordered looked about a day old and burned to a crisp and the chicken and waffle was dry and flavorless. Also a couple came in a half hour after us and got their food first which was frustrating. And see the kitchen, staff, laughing and joking around while we’ve been sitting at our table for so long, apparently not caring about if they got their food out on time . A strange thing to note was that there was no music coming out of the speakers and aside from other tables talking, it was weirdly quiet. All in all, I was hoping to find a local restaurant to frequent when I traveled through Leadville, unfortunately, this will not be one and I will tell people to steer clear.

I really wanted to like this place, but it was a huge disappointment. The Eggs Benedict had zero flavor, the “side” of salmon was laughably tiny for $4, and the English muffin managed to be both toasted and soggy at the same time. I ended up sending it back and settled for a yogurt parfait, which had maybe eight pieces of fruit in the whole thing. For the prices they charge, this place is honestly a joke. Don’t waste your time or money. Oh and don't get the bacon, it will be burnt ...

The restaurant is in a beautiful historic hotel but the food and service is absolutely trash. I paid extra for salmon on the benedict and they served a tiny sliver less than 1 ounce on each one. It was literally one bite full. They should be completely embarrased to serve this. The food was flavorless and required salt to make it edible. Don't bother coming here. Servers didnt seem to care at all. Spend your money elsewhere folks.
