I walked into the restaurant and I realized that there was a new menu!How ever it was really delicious! The Furikake fries and tried the chicken Katus curry! I would recommend to anyone who loves Japanese food.Also,last but not least the customer service was on POINT! Respectful and attended to us.

A refreshing new take on Japanese chicken katsu for 2025. Very friendly staff, very attentive. Very personable and delicious chicken katsu! They have a delicious spicy (or non-spicy your choice) curry sauce that they let you pour over the rice and chicken and potatoes and carrots, and it's absolutely delicious!

I love the food here! Especially the huge vegan selection. The ramen and spicy vegan chickn is very tasty!! Portions are good and prices very reasonable. This is a great go-to spot. Friendly service and comfortable seating inside.

This is my second time having dinner here. I was amazed by the vegan meat because it’s just like a real meat so I’m satisfied with it! I also like the boba milk tea. It’s sweet so I like it!! :) Post the photos of what I ordered for these two times.

Wok & Roll in Long Beach is a hidden gem! They’ve revamped their menu from Chinese to Japanese cuisine, and I was so excited to find vegan options. I had the Vegan Chicken Katsu with rice, potatoes, carrots, and curry sauce — it was crispy, flavorful, and the curry took it over the top! You can pick your spice level too. Big portions, great price (under $20!), and super friendly service. The space is clean, modern, and everything is made fresh to order. Highly recommend — 9/10!

I used to work at Wok N Roll back in my college days, and it’s amazing to see how far this place has come. The recent revamp of the restaurant and the menu is next level — clean, modern, and inviting. I had the ramen recently and was blown away. Flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and a level of care you can taste in every bite. What makes this place special though isn’t just the food — it’s the people. The owners, especially Alice, Steve and Ken, treat everyone like family and that warmth is felt from the moment you walk in. Proud to see them thriving and evolving. Highly recommend checking them out!

The place has gone through some changes but man are they for the better! They recently changed over to more of a Japanese menu. I got the curry and dumplings. Next time I want to try an udon dish. The place is super cute now too. Will dine here more often and maybe eat in instead of taking out.

Tien, thank you for providing EXCELLENT at-the-end-of-a-shift customer service. I have to have a soup type meal at least once every two months. Only being able to eat soup that night and having to deal with a problematic Uber Eats delivery situation, I'm glad Tien resolves the situation extremely well. The Vegan Spicy Ramen is decent. I think the broth can use an additional type of seasoning like Ginger or Turmeric, more spices, less salt. The noodles need a bit of air which usually twisting with a fork or chop sticks can create (to avoid noodles sticking together/settling so quickly, gives the noodles more fluff too, also, drier noodles are fine since broth comes with the meal). The Chow Mein tastes even better with the spicy sauce. The other parts of the meal are good and the meal tastes good altogether. I recommend giving one's taste buds a reset/time before eating between the Chow Mein and the Vegan Spicy Ramen: they have distinct flavors that I don't think mix well right after each other.

Looks like I need to find new favorite dishes here because the service is great, I will always support a small local asian owned business, and my vegetarian friends love it too. Their note and care to minimal packaging definitely brought a smile to my face. Thanks once again! But the food was below standard, undercooked “vegan chicken” and the pepper fries were not so good, very dry. I had ordered two vegan chicken dishes, garlic vegan chicken and orange vegan chicken, was very disappointed with it. The hot and sour was just okay. I really wanted to give them a 5 star rating after I saw the note but the food was sadly very disappointing.

Great employees here but unfortunately the food is over salted and over priced. I eat here about once a year praying for a different result. I'm happy to see they are expanding with options like ramen but I truly believe the whole place needs a revamp.

Went in this noon to get 2 plates..... super nasty Chinese food. Never had something as bad and nasty disgusting food. I expected more for the price. I must get a refund. Seemed like the day before leftovers
