Delicious brunch! Great vibes. Shared the Crab Cake Benedict and the Marine, both of which were divine!
Amazing crepes! Excellent portions for the price! The waitress was also very nice! Will be stopping by again on my next visit to Long Beach :)
I love this place! I can’t wait to come back. I got the Bolognese buckwheat crepe. It tasted like a pizza in crepe form. I love the French writings on the ceiling and in the corner they have a couch you can sit and eat at which I love. My server was Victoria and she was so attentive and nice!
I got a mushroom sauce crepe and it was the most delicious sauce I ever had. The 1st waiter seemed annoyed but we didn't get an exclusive person for our table. got another one who was super nice and also a female waitress who was very nice and accommodating. It is a bit pricey but the place is very welcoming. And food tasted perfect.
I always love to come here, last week I invited a good friend of mine to have breakfast, couldn't be better, impeccable service, very nice attention and the food magnifique. A littlepiece of France here. Thank you very much!!!.
This place was so nice! Just a small place on the corner but wonderful food and service! Discovered there is one in San Diego which is where we are from and plan to go there! Delicious food!
Love having breakfast here when visiting Long Beach. Favorite thing from the menu is Croque Monsieur with French onion soup. But waffles and omelets are also amazing Ambience is very relaxing they have very cozy decorations inside and outdoor seating. Service is great from everyone but Yoseline is really outstanding. Wheelchair accessible and dogs are allowed in the patio
Beautiful breakfast, the meals were delicious and fresh and the service was outstanding. We recommend this gorgeous French inspired cafe. Lovely staff.
One of my favorite places to eat! I’ve been going here for at least 7 or 8 years. The food is excellent, although I’ve noticed that the portion sizes have decreased. However, the quality and taste remain fantastic. The service is outstanding! The employees are very kind, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is cozy and well-managed, a great place for breakfast or brunch.
I'm glad you had an excellent experience at Creme de la Crepe in Long Beach! The delightful ambiance, paired with their exquisite menu, made for a memorable dining experience. The service was impeccable, creating a perfect blend of delectable cuisine and top-notch hospitality. A true five-star gem worth revisiting!
10 out of 10! I’ve tried crepes and omelettes everywhere from the Bellagio on the strip to the little local joints in my city, but this one had the best I have ever tasted! The staff was welcoming and definitely set the tone for the French styled dining. Complements to the chef!
A Taste of France in Every Bite! I had a wonderful breakfast at this charming French café! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy, Parisian feel that made for a perfect start to the day. I ordered the buckwheat crêpes with cheese and sautéed mushrooms, and they were absolutely delicious—light, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The earthy richness of the mushrooms paired beautifully with the melted cheese, creating a dish that was both comforting and refined. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the delightful experience. If you're looking for an authentic taste of France, this spot is a must-visit!
I really enjoyed my food and the atmosphere. I grabbed my own table, the waitress was there alone with multiple tables so it took a few minutes. No worries. I ordered a small French press (good for two cups of coffee), the autumn waffles with a side of eggs and bacon. Everything was so good! Peaches on waffles with syrup... what's not to love.
Very cute French restaurant in downtown Long Beach. Breakfast and Lunch available. Each and every plate was delicious. Wide variety of different items on this wonderful menu. Service was absolutely top notch. Highly recommended if you're looking for an incredible dining experience. 10/10.
Great breakfast place. Loved that the entire menu is open all day long. The vibe is fantastic; it feels like you have walked into a Parisian cafe the moment you enter. Our server was extremely nice and was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The menu includes excellent options for most special diets.
Just attended a conference at the Long Beach Convention center. We found Creme de la Crepe about two blocks from the Marriott Courtyard. The food and the service was very good, we ended up eating here 3 times this week. On our first visit for breakfast I had the Gauloise sweet crepe which was so good with cinnamon baked apples and brown sugar. Not too sweet. On our second visit I had Nordique, a savory crepe with smoked salmon. It was also good. There were a lot of tomato and I am not the biggest fan. I should have paid closer attention to the menu and should have asked if they could leave off the tomato. On our third visit I had a waffle topped with cinnamon apples and a chestnut spread. It was very good. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, There's a couch if you wanted to chill. The playlist at dinner time was all jazzy versions of pop tunes. I used Shazam to add a few to my library. When I'm back in So. Cal, I will come again.
The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food quality is remarkable, and the atmosphere is lovely and cozy. If I were staying in Long Beach for more than one day, I definitely wouldn't look for any other restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
Enjoyed a really nice brunch. We tried the waffle, gluten free buckwheat Mantinale crepe and alfredo pasta. We loved them all. The server was very kind and attentive.
Had a wonderful brunch here. The breakfast platter work eggs, sausage and veggies was so hearty and flavorful. The crepes were also perfect, I got a savory version. Really good menu and the staff was really sweet too. They had a nice coffee menu too, 100% recommend if you’re in Long Beach.
I don’t know where to start w/this one!! This is a must guys!! They made me the BEST Vanilla Latte in the world!!!! I loved every bite of my brioche French toast the pictures don’t do justice all of their dishes were amazing!! We felt welcomed & the music & vibe was chill!! Love, good eating & now off to the beach!!
Amazing place where I often stop by. They have two menus, the breakfast-lunch and starting 4pm they have the dinner menu! Very well located, I really love the chill Frenchy vibe at the restaurant. Coffees are excellent and the meals are so tasty. Of course if you are looking for salty, I would recommend the omelets! And then if you are looking for something sweet, I would recommend “make your own crepe” where you get to customize your crepe. Prices and so reasonable and staff is so friendly! You should definitely check it out!
Always looking for a layover breakfast that isn’t fast food or overly fancy and this restaurant fit the bill. Not too busy on a Monday at 10am so service was friendly and quick. I opted for the Switzerland Buckwheat Crepe and it was just right. Price was inline with what I expect in SoCal. I’ll definitely return on future Long Beach layovers.
After an event, we came in with a group of friends to try this place, and we’re so glad we did. The food tasted amazing — I tried the seafood and beef plate, and both were incredibly savory and full of flavor. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and satisfying. Our server was absolutely amazing. She was quick, attentive, and very accommodating to our table, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her great service really elevated the whole experience. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!
We spent the night downtown, waiting on our cruise and walk the two blocks over to this quaint little restaurant based on great reviews. This is a great mom and pop café with even better service. They were friendly and quick to get our drinks and help us ordering. I had the omelette which was cooked perfectly and seasoned even better. My wife had the French Benedict and raved about it. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients and nothing is warmed up. It all came out piping hot. I saved enough room to try the fruit crêpe and I’m so glad I did. That was one of the best crêpes I’ve ever had in my life.
The fruit crepe was very good, came out quickly and the service was also excellent. It’s a shame it’s such a small venue as I got the last table and it was quite close to the door, but other than that I can’t fault it. It would be nice if they opened a little earlier than 8am, but that mostly personal preference and being up early in the morning!
This place was so good that I had to come and review! We went around 11AM. We ordered two crepes and tried their almond affogato. It was heavenly good, just the right balance of espresso and ice cream. We also got some hot chocolate. The place is situated on the corner, and has such a French vibe. Cute outdoorsy setting, and the servers were all so polite and good. On a side note: I never have chicken sausage anywhere, I have never liked it's taste. But today I just dont know why I gave it a chance, and ordered their Paysen crepe. IT WAS DELICIOUS. The chicken sausage was heavenly and so so soft, not at all chewy. And best part is, they have not overpriced their dishes. Affordable standard rates as they should be.
This place is lovely. You must try the Escargot! Its absolutely divine, I come like once a week just for them and a glass of their Grapefruit Rosé. Simply delicious and there’s a parking lot right across the street. Friendly staff! The escargot is what is photographed. They’re so tender and delicious, and they sit in pools of gorgeous olive oil, herbs and seasonings. I cant stress enough how good these are!
Small dining space. Its inviting and the employees are super friendly and attentive. They were patient as we drank our hot drinks before ordering. We ordered the crab cake benny, smoked salmon benny and also some friend toast. The drinks and food were both great. We would visit this place again!
Went there with a friend for the first time today and was immediately taken with the European vibe inside. The tables included high tops, shared long table, sofa with table, bar seating and outdoor tables. Everyone who worked there was very nice, although seemed very busy and not as attentive as I'm used to. The coffee was tasty-I ordered a latte with almond milk and a hint of vanilla flavoring. For my meal I ordered hash with grilled chicken, which was delicious. Great experience, highly recommend. I will definitely be returning.
Such a cute and quaint little place! Atmosphere: 10/10 Clean with a decent amount of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The decor is random, but well put together, and I love the wood furniture and brick accent wall, it gives the place a warm feeling. Service: 8/10 The server was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable of the menu. And I don’t blame the service on the server at all, she was simply overwhelmed and didn’t have help. Eventually another server came and it got better. Other than that, the service was great and the server did a great job making everyone happy and keeping up as best she could. Food: 10/10 In all fairness we only tried the pigalle crepe, strawberry banana smoothie, lavender latte and a mimosa (they only provide orange) and they were all fabulous! My daughter basically inhaled the crepe and smoothie, and I did the same to my latte and mimosa. I am definitely coming back to try their Thursday special which is a 3-course menu for $39/person. Overall we very much enjoyed our time here and are already planning several reasons to return.

Delicious crepes both savory and sweet.French standard are on and for a reasonable price.Highly recommend if you are craving authentic French crepes in a cozy café vibes.

We went the day after Christmas. Needless to say they were very busy and understaffed. They did their best to accommodate everyone. First time and I'm not sure if it was the cold weather but the coffee was really good!. I got the Espagnol Crepe. It was good I'm not sure was dressing they used on the salad but it was delicious.
Was able to get a table pretty quick on a Sunday with a big convention down the road. Service was pretty fast, although they did forget a piece of our order, we waited for it but that made us a little late to our next destination. Price was... LA... food was decent, not the best Benedict ever but not bad. Crepes were light but not as flavorful as some places. Coffees were great, just pricey.
Nice crêperie in downtown Long Beach. The savory crepes are made out of buckwheat like in Britany, a rare occurrence in the US. There are also non crepe items on the menu to satisfy those who might not like a complete meal made out of crepes. The staff is very good and attentive. The crepes taste good and one savory followed by one sweet will make a complete meal.
We were looking for a place to drink coffee before our boat ride to Catalina Island. I ordered a chai latte. We didn't get to stay long. The de or is cozy and French themed. We got the French toast to go. It was good without the syrup. You need time to enjoy the vibe here. I hope to try this for real. They didn't have croissants or sell quiche by the slice. Try it. Staff was nice.
Nice spot. I like the vibe. It’s cozy. There is tables and a couch. I usually come here to grab lunch and get work done on my laptop. I like the couch so I can be comfortable. Windows nice and wide so you can the street. Service is a little slow but not a deal breaker. Owner is French. There is French music playing and nice art in the wall. Nice spot in Long Beach
Very nice place. Enjoyed coffee and cream. The service was absolutely perfect, nice, respectful and fast. They brought special plate of cream with mint for our puppy for FREE. And they did everything for us to feel comfortable. The only reason I rated them 4 stars was black creepy flakes on my waffle (second photo), the waffle maker is old and greasy I suppose. And mango was absolutely green and unripe. But I will definitely be back.
The service was okay but would have been nice to fill empty drinks. The food here was pretty good but it seems the portion sizes for the breakfast items we had were small for the price. Others eating lunch items the portions seemed much larger. Overall they use quality ingredients and cooked everything perfectly.
Breakfast! Drinks: mimosa and ice tea Meal: waffle and 2 eggs and bacon, 3 eggs dish came with bread, salad and au gratin potatoes. Never got a refill on the ice tea so paid 3$ for about a cup of tea. I had to wave down server for another mimosa. Eggs for both dishes were over cooked. No rhyme or reason to the server. Had two different people ask us for drinks. Had to wave down a server for our check. Food in general was good.
I had the omlette. Sausage, bacon, swiss cheese. It was ok. Sausage was salty, bacon a bit hard. Best part was the sliced baguette and butter. Spouse had healthy breakfast. Said it was good, tomato was green. Coffee was great but not special. Also had build your own desert crepe. Choose ice cream, chocolate, cookie butter, toasted almonds. I think they forgot the almond. Was good.
If you're a fan of crepes and looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Creme De La Crep! This charming little creperie has stolen my heart with their mouthwatering creations, particularly the Nordique and Marocaine crepes. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy seating arrangements and lovely decor instantly set the tone for a delightful culinary adventure. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my visit. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the crepes! The Nordique crepe, filled with smoked salmon, cream cheese, fresh dill, and capers, was an absolute masterpiece. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, with the delicate crepe acting as the perfect canvas for the rich and savory ingredients. It was a true delight for my taste buds! Equally impressive was the Marocaine crepe, which transported me to the vibrant streets of Morocco. Filled with tender Moroccan spiced chicken, roasted bell peppers, caramelized onions, and a drizzle of tangy harissa sauce, this crepe was a burst of flavors that left me craving more. The combination of sweet, spicy, and savory elements was simply divine. What sets Creme dela Crep apart is not just the exceptional taste of their crepes, but also the attention to detail in their presentation. Each crepe was beautifully folded and garnished, making it a feast for the eyes as well. It's evident that the chefs at Creme dela Crep take great pride in their craft. In addition to the outstanding food, the menu at Creme dela Crep offers a variety of options to suit every palate. Whether you're a meat lover, a vegetarian, or have a sweet tooth, there is something for everyone. The extensive selection of both savory and sweet crepes ensures that you'll never run out of delicious choices. To top it all off, the prices at Creme dela Crep are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes they offer. It's a place where you can indulge in culinary excellence without breaking the bank. In conclusion, Creme dela Crep has won me over with their exceptional crepes, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service. Whether you're a crepe enthusiast or simply looking for a unique dining experience, this place is a must-visit. Treat yourself to the Nordique and Marocaine crepes, and prepare to be blown away. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
I like the salmon salad. I order a side of veggies and am in heaven. The veggies sometimes include sautéed asparagus, squash, mushrooms and they are a wonderful addition to the salad... I also love their orange juice. It is a very small but charming place. There is a couch to choose or a high table with stools, low long table or outside. Usually a travel log is on the monitor which transports the eaters to wonderful locations. I recommend this cute spot!
I was expecting more crepe options here, but the food was great in terms of what my daughter and I ordered (Bisous and fit crepe). My husband said his was way overcooked (lamb sausage hash). Our server, Brenda was great! She was attentive and super friendly. They accommodated all of our requests.
This place is located in a high traffic area so parking can be hard to find. If you’re unable to find street parking, there are parking structures/lots available for a flat price. The restaurant is rather small with various seating options and in addition to that, there’s outdoor seating as well. No shade available on a sunny day so do keep that in mind. Our party was a party of 10, 8 adult and 2 children. Since there’s limited seating, our only option was outdoor seating. Service is rather slow. We asked for highchairs twice and water at least 3 times. We didn’t get water initially because they forgot, then they ran out of clean glass, and we didn’t get our water until we were basically done with our meal. I got a panini and it came with a side of salad and sliced potato and cheese square. I wasn’t a huge fan of that potato cheese since it was too heavy on the cheese flavor. I also got a glass of champagne I think. Overall, the food was decent but service is rather sub par.
Buckwheat crepes are fantastic, I had Espanol. Don't be me (hungry and greedy) and don't order anything else. Their avacado toast looks better than it tastes anyway. Just two servers is definitely not enough and makes the service awkwardly slow, even once you get their attention - they're pretty helpful and friendly.
😄 Liked: * A tempting menu with many options * The lamb sausage pattie adding extra flavour to a rich, creamy French Benedict with melted Brie, a poached egg with its liquid yolk and tangy salad * An excellent choice of crepes, both savoury and sweet * Attentive service and fast turnaround * Warm tones and casual decor 😞 We were hoping for: • The authentic European Hot Chocolate so thick that you have to dig with a spoon. The server had no idea what we meant when we asked if it was the thick hot chocolate and despite her reassurance, what we received was the watery version with a lot of sugar. 🔎 We were in the area needing a quick bite and the food option was satisfying, but we would definitely look elsewhere for the real hot chocolate.
I really enjoyed the savory buckwheat creeps (Marocaine). The sauce was fantastic. However, I was disappointed with the omelette. The egg was difficult to eat, and the meat wasn’t any better. The 4 stars is definitely for that delicious crepe. I do recommend people trying this place as it has a cute atmosphere.

Place was crowded and clean and welcoming. We sat ourselves and were waited on promptly. Coffees came out at different times as did the entrees. I was looking forward to a crepe. Mine was the Fit crepe with veggies and pesto. I found it salty and a bit soggy. My husband ordered an omelette which was fluffy and large. He liked the veggies in his. The salads were fresh. My chai tea was good as was the espresso. I must note that the waffles and eggs Benedict looked good.
So this was our second time here but I think it will be our last, biggest issue is we showed up for brunch a group of 4, I asked to be put on a wait list , seeing that they’re full and that’s to be expected so no big deal, I was told there is a party of 4 ahead of us, no big deal wait quotes 20-25 min. First group of 4 was seated about ten minutes after,Another group of 4 showed up after me and were seated ! I walked inside and said hey , and another waitress asked oh how many in your party? I said umm 4 we already talked to another host and the people you sat came after us! All they could say was whoops sorry but it will be 20-25 more minutes. It ticked us off but we didn’t want to leave. I don’t understand why they don’t have a wait system here. Not even a note pad to take a name and build a wait list . No idea if it’s the owner or just the staff but just didn’t make sense. Once we were sat the staff were professional and nice so we are at about 1 hr from start of our wiat to seating. We ordered our drinks and food. Came out timely except they forgot my wife’s meal. We tried to get their attention but they kept very busy and we had to shout a little to be like hey hi my wife never got her meal. Waitress apologized and said hopefully it’s ready ( it was a standard crepe entree nothing fancy) . We watched and could see the kitchen staff had no idea so we knew it wasn’t ready, it wasn’t even started. Eventually she got her food but it just was unpleasant. On the bright side my meal was delicious but just was unpleasant experience.
Decent Food, But Service Needs Improvement We dined here recently, and while the food was pretty good, the overall experience left something to be desired. The escargots were absolutely delicious—definitely the highlight of our meal. The crab cake with poached eggs, however, had to be remade because the eggs were hard-boiled instead of properly poached Benedict-style. I also ordered a latte, which in the menu photo looked beautifully presented with latte art. What I received, however, was just a plain cup of coffee with no design at all—not a huge deal, but a bit disappointing given the expectation. The biggest issue was the service. We tried to order extra bread but couldn’t get our server’s attention for at least 10 minutes, despite waving multiple times. When we finally managed to order, it took another 10 minutes for the bread to arrive—and they brought us wheat bread instead of white, without any communication that white bread wasn’t available. They simply served the wheat bread without explanation, leaving us with no choice. To top it off, they brought us the receipt for the extra bread before actually bringing it to the table, and when it finally arrived, it was the wrong kind. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the lack of attention to detail, slow service, and poor communication made the experience frustrating. Would I come back? Maybe, but I’d hope for better service next time!
The first thing I appreciated was the convenient parking right out front, which made arriving and leaving much easier, especially during busy hours. The interior of the place was charming cozy, cut…

Been here twice only for breakfast, not very impressed, presentation is beautiful but not so much the taste. Espresso and lattes not that good. Had a crepe, which it was hard and tasteless, and also a Belgium waffle, very hard to even cut up. Very friendly service and cute restaurant, but at least breakfast not so good.
Honestly this place isn’t great. I am gluten free and when I asked a question about one of the crepes the waitress kept talking about dairy free. Like… these are two different things. I ordered the Montargene and it was supposed to be potatoes, cheese, onions, prosciutto and cornichons. When I tell you this thing came out 80% potatoes. I don’t know about you but eating a thick crepe with potatoes inside just made me feel over carbed with nothing to break it up. The prosciutto was MAYBE 2 slices over the top. I ordered that and a cappuccino, the cappuccino was good but for $30 I would expect to be full but it was just too many carbs and minimal protein. Topping it off it was bland as all get out. Gluten free people deserve good food and just because they have an option, doesn’t mean we should just be happy it exists. Now I have to head to a 7-11 to buy a protein drink and hope I can make it to dinner.
Very beautiful outside but the food was so bad! I ordered a fit crepe however it was not tasty! overpriced as it had only mushroom and tomatoes! The place was empty although it was a breakfast time.
Smells like piss because they didn't clean the floor (see pictures). It got our bags wet. Waited an hour for food. Every table ate before us even two rounds of newcomers (we are a family of five, o…
Perfect choice if you want that true Parisian experience with the BAD attitude to pair along with it :) The menu looks delicious! Unfortunately, the service was so poor we couldn’t stay to taste it. Maybe some more customer service training would benefit this location. It shouldn’t take 20min to get a glass of water! Merde…. So much potential but missed the mark with unprofessional servers.
We were recommended this restaurant as a great breakfast spot, and the reviews were good. Service was quick and great, and the food arrived quickly and presentation was amazing. However, that's where things went wrong. I'm a vegetarian and made sure to order a crepe that had no meat in it, along with the pumpkin spice latte. Unfortunately I was served a crepe loaded with bacon, and didn't notice the mistake until I was a few bites into my meal. I was the only person in my group that got a crepe, so there was no mistakenly grabbing the wrong plate. When I called the server over she immediately had a new meal made for me, however my family was already done by the time it arrived. I was still charged for the crepe, which I guess is fine and I paid for it. A decent restaurant would have taken the meal off my bill, but it is what it is. However, I decided to not leave a tip because I was already starting to feel sick to the stomach from meat that I am unable to digest. Not an ideal way to spend the first day of my Long Beach vacation. Now imagine my surprise when I looked at my credit card bill just now, a few days later, and found they added their own tip... To the tune of $120 above the cost of my crepe and coffee. I'll be calling my credit card company in the morning, followed by the management at this restaurant. Avoid this place at all cost!
Very disappointed. Crepes were very doughy, did not taste good at all. Service was bad: we got drinks half way through lunch and coffee at the end. Not really what I expected. Oh and the place was not busy at all, so no justification.
It is 8:18. They don’t close until 9:00 I’m here and i wanted a crepe. I walk up to a lady telling my that they closed early. How inconvenient. And they were clearly still open. Short blonde girl with a striped shirt on. Won’t be back.
