There's never been a time that I came here and it wasn't excellent. The owners are awesome people, the food is amazing, and although the restaurant itself is small, it isn't cramped.

While driving between Dallas and Shreveport we Made the detour into Longview to try the Deli. It was a good decision to make the stop. The menu items were unique and had back stories behind them. Recently decided to try this place, and honestly I was disappointed I hadn’t tried it sooner. Food was so good. I’ve been back multiple times since I first tried it and have never been disappointed. I love the cool breeze panini. And their gumbo is one of the bests in town

Maybe it's just in my own mind, but a deli typically falls short of five-star status because the concept of making a sandwich seems simple. I can pile meat and cheese on two slices of bread at home, so paying someone else to do it seems a little silly sometimes. While the method of constructing a sandwich may be pretty straightforward, the taste of It'll Do Deli's sandwiches is anything but simple. I just experienced my first meal at this establishment, and I am extremely impressed. My wife and I ordered The House and the Romeo sandwiches, a small gumbo, a small broccoli and cheese soup, and in an effort to leave no inch of stomach unfilled, we even tried a couple of the Happy Hannah stuffed peppers. Everything was so much more delicious than I could have ever expected. The sandwiches' ingredients tasted fresh, and the broccoli and cheese soup was nice and light, but still packed full of flavor, a nice reprieve from the heavy, creamy soup I get at some other places. The peppers, served cold and covered with a generous helping of chicken salad, were very surprising. I usually like something like stuffed peppers to be hot, but these may have forced me to change that mindset. Adding to the experience was the very friendly staff (owners?), and the clean, quaint atmosphere. Since we arrived well before the lunch rush, it felt quiet and adequately-spaced during our visit, but I can imagine that it could get a little cramped during the busier parts of the day. Oddly, this is not necessarily a bad thing. The thought of a line of people running out the door and around the building sort of adds to the appeal. It reminds me of some of my favorite eateries in Austin. Speaking of Austin, It'll Do Deli feels like it could fit in well in the big city. It has a neat name, and the decor inside the restaurant has a quirky uniqueness that had me craning my neck in every direction to take it all in. My personal favorite was the simple touch of a sign above the doorway to the restroom that warned of the dangers of diving into shallow water. This was our first visit to It'll Do Deli, but I doubt it'll be our last. It has changed my opinions of the simplicity of making a sandwich. This place deserves a "job well done" nod in every aspect.

Known about this business, ever since they first started back when they were closer to Good Shepard Hospital. Great food and hospitality, every time I visit, and I hope they continue to stay around for a long time. :)

AWESOME little place tucked in between a Jack-n-the-Box and an Auto Zone. Comfy sandwich shop with a versatile menu, good prices, friendly, quick staff, and nice decor/personality. I got the Batman, which is a grilled cheese sandwich done RIGHT. Superb bread with copious amounts of cheddar cheese and just enough provolone to compliment it. Rarely does a grilled cheese sandwich blow my mind, but this place pulled it off. It'll do!

So not only was the Food Great! The workers were Very Friendly. They were also Observant and the owner watched out for me and my childrens Safety. Been coming here for years as one of my favorite work/travel lunch spots. Watched Kevin and Julie grow together and with their business...and with God (and their dogs!). The best places are always the places with the best people who care the most. This is one of those rare gems. I've tried much of the menu, but my goto is the Merck Cuban and a cup of Broccoli Cheese soup. Everything is great. The food, atmosphere, and heart behind this special place make it all work together perfectly. Thank you for being a blessing and a light to me and to all of your customers. I'm pulling up now!

This place is 1/4 of a mile from where I work. I just went there for the first time today. I have quite possibly had the best sandwich in my life at this place. The "Boathouse" sandwich grilled is simply fantastic! It's a small place with a seating area inside and out. Staff is friendly, and most importantly, they are Christians. They have a Bible out at the counter where you place your order, and you can highlight your favorite verse. Can't wait to go again!

I just happened on the place and will make return visits. My Ruben was really tasty - the bread crisp, the meat tasty and lean and the sauce very good. There were other sandwiches on the menu, and I look forward to giving them a try as well. Locally owned and a small venue. It was a quite place, despite the kitchen being right there where you could watch all the prep. Tables available for inside/outside dining, but I think a lot of folks do carry-out. When I visited, it was well after 1pm and still fairly busy. They had a lot of repeat business....since the owners called folks out by name as they entered. Really nice people.

It’ll Do is a fantastic lunch experience. (It’s not a diner experience because they don’t do diner) I’m a 12 year customer and I’ve never been disappointed. 20 different hot paninis and the soup of the day is a great compliment. And absolutely the BEST milkshake in Longview. Handmade shakes made from handmade ice cream. Different flavors daily. Dine in, dine outside, drive through, and call ahead for pickup.

My husband and I have been curious about this place for years but haven’t been able to go because they are only open for lunch. Well, today we both had the day off so we wandered into the little cafe and ordered a variety of food. The gentleman working the register was very kind and patient. The woman making the food is probably one of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen. The food was amazing. We got the Boathouse and Fatboy sandwiches, stuffed peppers, and cookies. Everything was delicious. The only negative is that I don’t know when we will be able to go back but we will definitely make it happen.

This is a great place to stop in and get a good sandwich. The place just makes you feel right at home. I love going here in the summer, getting a sandwich and a drink and eat outside. When it is not too hot of course.

The smoked brisket is tender, full of flavor. The chicken and brisket quesadilla with black olives, peppers and cream cheese is stuffed full of deliciousness. Fresh brewed tea is still tasting good 4 hours later. (I got a large). In door and outdoor seating and drive thru. Your meal comes in a to go bag with everything you need. Give them a try.

Great local business, the owners are very friendly and seem to enjoy what they do. The drive through could use a bit more structure. If it were a pickup only it would flow smoother. Customers have to call ahead to order or if they must order at the window then they loop around to the back of the line if one starts to form. If you haven't eaten here, you need to!!

paninis were excellent. you can have any side you like as long as it's a pickle wedge and a bag of lays potato chips. very small seating and parking. drive rhru.

Food is good but a bit expensive in my opinion. $9 for a full panini and that doesn't include a drink. It also takes forever. Probably good for those people who want to eat all natural and everything, but to me just not worth it.

Gave three stars because what a cute little place . I was disappointed with the 4 sandwiches I bought not because it was bad but because I was craving a cold Turkey sandwich with avocado . I I didn’t know their sandwiches were hot . On menu says cold or panini . I didn’t know you had to request it cold ! Most places you have to request it hot ! So went home kids would not touch it because it was hot with avocado .Seriously only takes a second to say would you like that hot ? So now I have sandwiches that have yucky hot avocado on it ! I am going to give this little mom and pop shop 3 stars. I'll put the good at the top. Great little mom and pop deli shop, lots of different things on the menu. I'd hate to think what others would think of places like cheddars or saltgrass? We spent 70.00 yesterday on 4 sandwiches and 2 quesadillas from the menu. If you blink you'll miss it, it's a little shop tucked away and it even has a drive thru which is very nice. There seemed be okay parking and it reminds me of a very old deli. Very homey, lots of decor. A place where you can eat and everyone knows your name. I liked that. What I didn't like - Seeing styrofoam everywhere. It made the place look cheap. I do not like styrofoam, I think it's something that shouldn't exist. I don't care what they say, items WILL MAKE IT MELT. I've had it happen many times now. So when I see my sandwich placed in a styrofoam container it makes me feel as if the resturant values low cheap costs over good food and health. The prices... I get it, things are expensive now. But reasonal prices should exisit. The quesidalla was thick, lots of food, but the fried balgona sandwich wich a slice of cheese and burned bread? (I'll get to that soon) come on now.. 12.00 for that? really? That sandwich should only be about 5 maybe 6. Same for the pimento one. Which was just pimento and bread for 12.00. I saw an old picture of a menu and prices where 10.00 back then for a full order. (full sandwich) The burned bread - I'm not talking dark brown I'm talking black. I was inside and there was no lunch rush and it wasn't just 1 sandwich, she burned my bread on all three! We are talking black lines burned. I'm more of a golden brown type of person so they lost a whole star on this from me. I couldn't eat my sandwiches do to this. The pimento was pimento and the balogna, well, was a piece of balonga... That I spent 12.00 on.. and still couldn't eat the bread due to the black. The quesadilla's where good, I will say that. Lots of food in them. The chicken salad sandwich was good too and has got a nice kick to it. The quality of the ingredients were not up to our standards. We could tell that they where cheap. The chicken from the chicken salad looked like chicken from a can but the gumbo looked like it had chicken thighs in it. The only quality ingredient was the multigrain bread which was I guess good, but I don't know because mine was burnt.

I am going to give this little mom and pop shop 3 stars. I'll put the good at the top. Great little mom and pop deli shop, lots of different things on the menu. The atmosphere was great and so where the people. Awesome customer service. I've read some reviews on them being the best place to get food in town.. I personally do not think so. I'd hate to think what others would think of places like cheddars or saltgrass? We spent 70.00 yesterday on 4 sandwiches and 2 quesadillas from the menu. If you blink you'll miss it, it's a little shop tucked away and it even has a drive thru which is very nice. There seemed be okay parking and it reminds me of a very old deli. Very homey, lots of decor. A place where you can eat and everyone knows your name. I liked that. What I didn't like - Seeing styrofoam everywhere. It made the place look cheap. I do not like styrofoam, I think it's something that shouldn't exist. I don't care what they say, items WILL MAKE IT MELT. I've had it happen many times now. So when I see my sandwich placed in a styrofoam container it makes me feel as if the resturant values low cheap costs over good food and health. The prices... I get it, things are expensive now. But reasonal prices should exisit. The quesidalla was thick, lots of food, but the fried balgona sandwich wich a slice of cheese and burned bread? (I'll get to that soon) come on now.. 12.00 for that? really? That sandwich should only be about 5 maybe 6. Same for the pimento one. Which was just pimento and bread for 12.00. I saw an old picture of a menu and prices where 10.00 back then for a full order. (full sandwich) The burned bread - I'm not talking dark brown I'm talking black. I was inside and there was no lunch rush and it wasn't just 1 sandwich, she burned my bread on all three! We are talking black lines burned. I'm more of a golden brown type of person so they lost a whole star on this from me. I couldn't eat my sandwiches do to this. The pimento was pimento and the balogna, well, was a piece of balonga... That I spent 12.00 on.. and still couldn't eat the bread due to the black. The quesadilla's where good, I will say that. Lots of food in them. The chicken salad sandwich was good too and has got a nice kick to it. The quality of the ingredients were not up to our standards. We could tell that they where cheap. The chicken from the chicken salad looked like chicken from a can but the gumbo looked like it had chicken thighs in it. Not that great. Not sure what the other reviews are all about. Apparently my honesty about the food here is taken by the owner as some type of unhappiness. Sorry you had to attack me personally because I am honest in my reviews. If you read all my reviews you'd know I am more of a foodie and enjoy good restaurants.

I got a chicken fajita that had a burnt hard shell, burnt cheese and all it had was avacado, chicken and some kind of weird sour cream sauce. It was tiny. I didn't hardly get anything out of it and it cost $6.00!! I don't have any teeth and couldn't chew most of it! Never again!

First time to ever go here, also I never post reviews but this one really bothered me today. I simply asked what was in the chicken salad because my daughter has food allergies. The "owner" or the lady at the window said "no fruit or nuts" I replied "ok, so like green onions and eggs?" She said "I don't give out the recipe" I'm sorry, excuse me? I didn't ask for your recipe. I simply needed to know ingredients. I will not ever go back. My daughter literally just got a steriod shot from an allergic reaction minutes before I pulled in, I'm not here to steal your recipe, I'm simply keeping my daughter alive and feeding her. For future reference, you shouldn't assume we are out to steal your recipe. If you have allergies, don't go they won't give you details.

I called ahead to find out what they put in their chicken salad. I did this because I have crohn's disease, and there are many foods that give me extreme pain, onions being one of the worst. The presumed owner/manager who answered the phone was snippy and said I will only tell you that it doesn't have fruit or nuts. When I asked about onions, he was even more snippy and said he would not give out his recipe. I said I didn't want his recipe! Just the ingredient list, like ALL food is required to put on their label! I explained that I have crohn's disease and food issues. He STILL wouldn't tell me if it has onions in it!!! That's discrimination against disabled people, and maybe against the food safety laws as well! I was really looking forward to giving them a try.

I dislike leaving a negative review but I was bummed that our sandwiches were not that good. I ordered the cool breeze, it came with avocado but there was so much it was all I could taste, each bite was pouring avocado off the sides. There were jalapenos but they had absolutely zero flavor, there was cheese but also no flavor so I do not remember what kind it was and the turkey tasted like the kind you get from the container at the grocery store.. not that that's a bad thing but when I'm paying $13 for a deli sandwich I expected something like boar's Head. My boyfriend got the high roller and well.. he took one bite and threw it away and got lunch somewhere else 😬😬 it was our first time there, I didn't announce that to the man at the counter because as soon as I walked up he looked very irritated and annoyed, to the point it gave me anxiety and I got nervous to ask him for a recommendation. The only positive was the lady that handed me my sandwich, she was very sweet, complete opposite from the at the counter guy! I love a good little deli sandwich shop to get lunch at but sadly we won't be returning 🫤
