Even though they were slightly understaffed, they took care of everyone with class and pride. They were all so kind. The manager was moving around helping her staff and checking on everyone. While we were there, we happen to be seated by a couple "karens" (no offense to anyone), and the staff handled their negativity, and lack of volume control gracefully, with patience and compassion. Another thing worth mentioning, for sure... that though I'm sure the food orders were piling up, our food was still fresh, hot, and yummy!

Cassie is great!! She has been working non stop the restaurant was way busier than normal because there was a power outage and even though she was stressed and tired she held herself very well. We were sat with our two children, awkwardly directly next to a couple on their first date and were not left with any sort of dessert menu at the table, so decided to opt out of that rather than trying to flag down our waiter. My sister and I were in Longview yesterday and decided our cravings were for Applebee’s. We were happily greeted by Marissa, our lovely waitress. It appeared that everyone in the place was enjoying the environment and Marissa’s service, too. It was lunchtime there and the regulars were sitting at the bar, but we were at our table nearby. My onion rings were the best ever, and my sister said the fiesta lime chicken, with the Mexican rice were such treats! To top it off, she also had their $1 dessert, the bite-sized brownie with ice cream. We have to go back to this Applebees’s when we drive through Longview on our way to Dallas.

Me and the guys went last weekend and when I say we had a blast l, never been to an Applebee’s that awesome mainly because the workers before we worked our way to the bar a young man i think his name is Eric great kid really about his business and caters to you despite how many people are in his section. The real fun started once we worked our way to the bar and Christian their female bartender literally was the life of the party which seemed so effortless for her. Seamless entertainment despite seeing how many orders for drinks came in with no bar back she most certainly did her thing with out missing a beat. Most definitely 10/10 Applebees is hands down best bar and grill on the loop, heck even in Longview. Go check out the nightlife there while the lady bartender is working and watch you have an amazing time. Best staple of Longview. Whether you tip one dollar or 100 they give you service worth a 200 dollar tip.

I had one of the best nights great meal (I’m very picky and hard to please with my meals)the energy the service the attention to detail actually left me stunned for an Applebees. The bartender Christian not only crazy beautiful but can make any drink quickly and taste amazing. Both night bartenders are definitely well rounded people whom can converse over almost any topic almost like a friend I’ve know for years even thought we met 20 mins ago. Food was great and the server kiaya even went out her way to ask about my allergies so that I had a good experience. I could tell that when it came to their attention to detail to provide the best service they can it was taken seriously. The Atmosphere is great, whether you’re a regular or coming in for a quick bite they make you feel so welcome. The closing lady bartender; Christian I think is such a great conversationalist pays attention to everyone at the bar almost like she’s know what you want before you, and has great taste in drink choices. Plus they have the other bartender Justin who is a staple in the Longview nightlife.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience last night. Jasmine was very sweet and attentive and did a great job taking care of us. The food was great and the restuarant had a very relaxing atmosphere. Had dinner here tonight with a few friends and it was delicious! I recommend the triple dipper boneless wings and the bourbon Street chicken and shrimp. It comes on a hot skillet with mushrooms. It’s really good. Raven Was our server and she did a great job and was on top of it! It’s so nice to be able to go out and eat really good food and have great service in a fun atmosphere.

Always love the food. Low on staff but our server went above and beyond. The restaurant needs a desperate remodel. It was also pricey.

Overall the service was great. However, they waited quite a while after we had ordered to inform us that they were out of baby back ribs. The only reason we went there was for the ribs. Well we were very disappointed. Remember this was on a Saturday night around 6pm.

I went with my son for his Birthday. The food was the delicious but the server was new. Don’t get me wrong, we are all new at some point, but she didn’t know about a new item in the menu. Not only that, she didn’t know if the food was spicy or not, and when I ordered the food, she did not ask what side I wanted and just got me fries. I am not an angry or picky person so did not complain and ate everything, the food was so yummy. At the end we wanted dessert and were told that there was no ice cream. We asked for an apple pie without the ice cream for my son, and they proceed to tell us that the cash register could not ring an apple pie because it originally comes with ice cream. Meaning we could not get any dessert even without ice cream. We left a little disappointment and got dessert somewhere else.

When we first got there it started off rocky! Empty restaurant no staff waited 32 minutes to sit 2 of us. Bathrooms were not clean (men’s) but usable. The male waiter was complaining out in the open for customers to hear. I thought oh boy here we go another bad review why do I do these. Then we got seated and here comes Jasmine to save the freaking day! She was outstanding her recommendations were spot on!! Even though she was being worked into the ground she kept a smile!! Our drinks stayed full and our food was quick and accurate! I can not wait express enough Jasmine is the only reason this review got a 4 star and not a 3.1!!! She is the type of server you want when you go out to eat! Now let’s get to the food! We had some Asian bbq wings great sauce! (Thanks Jasmine!) the wing itself needed more meat but over all 7.1/10 We got 2 burgers one plain and one with secret sauce Burger with jalapeño special sauce 8.1/10 with out 7.1/10 Fries pretty good how a fry should be made simple and seasoned 8/10 Now the triple choco dessert is where we get wild! Jasmine recommended it and it was the Bomb!!!! Enough for 2 to share and it tasted amazing 9.1/10 Normally I would be harsh on something’s but the manager was busy doing her job and many others and she was excellent so we will let the bathroom slide and the wait. But thought it was odd all the football games were playing on the side of the restaurant that wasn’t being used true to short staff issues Overall experience 4.1/5 would definitely return I truly hope they get fully staffed this location is extremely underrated. Jasmine I hope this review finds you! I’ve done reviews across the country and you are by far one of the best servers I’ve had the privilege to meet. My wife and I think you are amazing!

The waitress didn't want to do her job. I waited about 15 minutes before she took my drink order. I received 4 brussels of broccoli as my side. Ribs were dry and I assume they were running low on BBQ sauce.

Marisa needs either a raise or her coworkers need to step up. She was tending the bar and acting as a waitress for us as well while her coworkers talked casually over arranging silverware. We have noticed if happen to be out late and come in after midnight there are a lot of young people in there and they tend to be rowdy and can get loud. But if you eat during the day or before 11pm it is a great atmosphere. We went in on 3/25/18 and had a waiter that we request because he is really good but it was late night, almost midnight and he spent a lot of time hanging out with kids at tables drinking. We had empty cups through half our meal and had to ask another waiter for drinks and to-go boxes. Updated review due to lack of service and no control of the 21-25 year olds going crazy and the manager was "okay" with it. She was laughing and talking to them. Some looked like 13-15 year olds but they were drinking. One younger waitress asked for an I.D. the guy said he didn't have it on him. She told him she couldn't serve him. He finally talked her into getting him a beer. He asked for another one and She told him, "Chug it down and I will bring you another one while my manager isn't paying attention." Not a good visit this time!

Went here while my Fiance & I were in her hometown on a trip & have never eaten at an Applebee’s & wanted to try it out. To say the least, we never wanna go back to another Applebee’s… We were seated quickly & our server seemed to be rushing us ordering & seemed rude when we didn't know what to get yet by staring at either of us, the tone in his voice, & disgusted facial expressions like we were stupid or something. We simply have never eaten at an Applebee’s & were still just exploring the menu options. He looked to be a middle-aged, medium-heavy set Hispanic male. We got our appetizer, the fried pickles & they were alright. We then got our food & my Fiance bit into a piece of cartilage once or twice while eating her Chicken sandwich, which she didn't want to eat anymore. My Alfredo pasta was very watery & pretty much flavorless. The beverages were good & so were the fries. The food just didn't look appetizing either. I paid $51 & some change for our bad meals… This place is not worth $60 when we could have gone somewhere nicer or better & gotten a lot better bang for my buck.

Had the Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger and the Chicken Parmesan with Pasta! The Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger says it has a Tangy Bacon Sauce! (WARNING) ITS NOT TANGY IT'S SPICY ENOUGH TO BURN YOUR MOUTH AND MAKE YOUR NOSE RUN!!! They need to put a warning on the menu for those sensitive to spicy food! Asked the server if it supposed to be SPICY and she checked with the manager who told her it could be. The server offered to replace it with one without the Sauce but I told her as long as the whole sandwich is not like the first bite it would be ok. Overall the meal was ok but but not worth what the bill came out to be. Give Applebee's a 5 out of 10 for this meal.

There are much better options out there. Table and seats were wet when seated. Our waiter was missing most of the time; he never brought refills. Another waitress checked on our section more than him. Backyard blackberry lemonade had zero alcohol in it. Restroom floor is both sticky & slippery. Place was not crowded, yet our food took a long time to come out. Place was not crowded, yet they seated people in the same area so it felt uncomfortably packed, while I'm looking at empty sections. The food was way too expensive for the experience of slow service, the tiny booth, & loud people seated around us. The most irritating part is my teenage son was doing the endless wings, etc. When they finally brought his first plate (a few little ribs), he immediately told them to get another ready. He was done eating the few pieces in minutes, & we waited 20 min before the second plate ever came out. He again told them he's going to have another, he's done with his plate in minutes (tiny portions to reduce waste - that's reasonable) and sitting and waiting close to 20 min for the next plate. This happened each time he'd get another plate - lots of sitting & waiting with no food. By the time he got his 3rd plate, the rest of us were finished with our meals. I guess the plan is to have him waiting so he'll start filling up on our food first lol. We had to stay at the restaurant waaaay longer than necessary, just because he had to wait so long between plates. And no, he didn't eat a ton - the amount he finally ate was the same as what you'd get with a regular entree. Positives: Our food was fine, the 2 women taking over for our waiter's tables were helpful, and the hostess was really nice. I hope management is aware of who is doing the work & appreciates them adequately.

The food that Applebee's served was delicious and was absolutely not part of the problem when we went. The issue we had was with the waitress. She was running around like crazy but was somehow very slow and this was at about 1 o'clock in the morning. We constantly ran out of our beverages and she was so slow that we didn't even get to order dessert because by the time she came back around we were just ready to go. Not disappointed in the food, just disappointed in the service.

I have been eating at applebees in Longview for years. Been very pleased until today. Was very excited to review them as the food is always good especially my fav dish the grilled lemon chicken. To start, we never knew who our server was as the someone different came to the table every time and I note they were not busy. My husbands water didnt get refilled. The food today was fair at best. My salad came out with alot of wilted lettuce. They replaced it, twice but finally it was good. The chicken was tasty but after the lettuce and server issues, just disappointed me as I frequent here and they are always good. So for that I will go back, but since it was the first time I been here since I started reviewing, just disappointed. Come on Applebees I know you can do it!!! I go back maybe they were training a new staff member.

I had to send my soup back 2 times and then finally had them take it off the check because it was still medium temp. Our server sucked.. I think thats what really bothered me she was really kind of rude and kept rushing us never prebussed the table never refilled our water.. the manager did. I placed an order for take out about 30 minutes till close. I was disappointed to find the cup of queso was less than a fourth of the container full. If they didn't have much left for the night I would have understood and possibly ordered something different or they could have charged me for a smaller size but I paid about 8 bucks for enough queso to cover 5 chips literally. They also only gave one set of utensils when we ordered 2 meals. I know we ordered a little late but I still expected decent service however I'm highly disappointed with what I got. On a good note the waiter that took my order over the phone was excellent with no misunderstanding, didn't have to repeat or correct a single word.

Literally I’m from the service industry and Kayla the bartender only pays attention to her friends and would not refill my drink nor pay me out even though she has been made aware we are celebrating my birthday. She has made me feel unwelcome multiple times and the last few times I came she wasn’t here so I kept returning. I have never received worse service. She always wants to reuse my glass which I don’t mind at all if she would actually refill it rather than me having to wait. I waited 14 minutes or more for a ticket and waiting 30 or more minutes for her to to pay me out I’m still waiting. It’s insane. She can socialize on her time. I’m glad she has so many friends but paying customers here to celebrate are also important. I won’t return if she is here because it was so unpleasant

We were seated at a tall table after asking for a booth and then agreeing to a half table booth. We sat there for 10 minutes, and no one ever stopped by the table or took our order even though they walked by several times. We left unacknowledged and hungry! Needless to say, I can't rate the food. My rating is actually a zero star for service.

It’s not a hole in the wall so you’re unlikely to even read this review or do anything based on this google review, but here goes. Generally, in the past I’ve had great experiences at this chain. This one was the worst site ever. The food I ordered was late, it was gross, the staff didn’t care, and the place smelled horrible. Feels like staff, and managers and cooks just doing less than bare minimum. I was overcharged on “accident” they didn’t want to even fix that mistake. I’ll happily never return, buyer beware.

I posted my review already. 0 stars. Look at this raw burger they gave me. I had to STARVE because I threw it away after I turned the light on and saw the inside. Children work here that are not equipped with the right skills for this type of establishment.

The day we went to have lunch. Only 2 people were there working. It took forever and to top it off, my bacon was still raw and the cheese was burnt to the plate! They should have just closed!

This place is still awful. You might as well be self service because do you have servers ? The microwavable food is way to expensive for what it is.

My boyfriend and I ordered dinner online tonight, the website said that it would be ready at 6:48 pm. I got to the restaurant at 6:50 pm and checked in online. After waiting 10 minutes I called to make sure they knew I was waiting (in case the online check in didn’t go through). The women I spoke to on the phone practically dismissed me, and then hung up on me. As I’m writing this, I’m still waiting on my food (7:23). I called again at 7:30 and asked for an update on my order and was placed on hold until 7:33 when I hung up the phone. The food came out shortly after that phone call, the women handed me the bag and went to walk away.. so I had to call after her to tell her that I was missing a drink, she looked at the receipt and said “all I see is a large Pepsi” I informed her that I also ordered an alcoholic beverage with our meal, she rolled her eyes and walked back into the building, came out a few moments later with my other drink. I was checking the bag to make sure all our other stuff was in there. I ordered three things, went I got to the last box I was honestly in disbelief of how they put together my boyfriends sandwich. (I will attach a picture). I am very glad that my boyfriend and I are not from here, because I would never go back to this restaurant, horrible customer service, and unbelievable wait time.

They told me that I could leave them a review on Google for a free chips and salsa but whenever I got my check, it was not in fact free. It was four dollars plus the drink that my girlfriend ordered was $10. Will never come back.

$125 worth of ordered food waste of hard earned money. Pasta with pepper chicken, had a watered down flavor. The kids Mac and cheese looks like Kraft Mac n cheese. Seasoned chicken breasts under cooked, grilled bacon cheddar sandwich was ok except bacon was limp and undercooked. Bahama moma alcoholic drink tasted like it had 0 alcohol. 6oz steak was way over cooked and could hardly eat it. Green beans tasted like they just come outta the garden, NO TASTE. WE ordered food at 4pm, ordered regular drinks at 3:52 pm. Didn't get drink or food till 5:07pm. They weren't busy at all. This was before dinner traffic. The food was overly priced for the quality of food. We will never go back. We should've stuck with Papacitas!

Too much pepper on the fries, more sauce than riblets on the plate, and a salad with croutons after I specifically ordered one without.

Very unprofessional and poor management. No wonder Yall can’t keep employees.

Food nasty, service trash nd they extra charge

Bartender saw us arrive at the bar. Didn't acknowledge us to say, "I'll be with right with you" but turned his back to return to a frequent patron conversation. Finally, approximately 10 mins bartender asked us what we would like to drink. Food arrived. Chicken parmesan, no seasoning like it came from a jar or can. Husband ordered chicken and pasta but received only chicken & onions but NO PASTA. Very minute seasoning. Never returning.

Me & a Coworker went to dine in for drinks. We stood waiting to be seated for 5 minutes. We ordered drinks & spinach dip for appetizers. The spinach dip was cooked in the microwave, the tortilla chips were stale. We told the waitress she took the chips & brought out some more chips that were stale. We asked for the manager. He came to our table & we explained to him that the chips were stale, he took it off our ticket. This Applebee's is short of staff, food is horrible. I would NOT recommend this Applebee's. I am glad I didn't order a steak.

My husband and I went there for date night! After about 5 or so minutes standing by the front door (no they were not busy and yes employees kept walking past us), they finally seated us. We sat there for over 15 minutes before finally getting greeted by our server. We watched 2 other tables get sat and greeted before we were! When we finally got a server, we went ahead and put in our drink, appetizer, and main dish orders so we didn't have to wait all night.The drinks were amazing and the food was ok. We asked for a the menu so we could order a desert. However by the time our server finally came back, we had finished our second round of drinks and decided we just wanted to leave. Our server never asked how everything was or how we were doing while we were eating. Again, while the bar may have been a little busy, the rest of the restaurant was not busy.

Place is terrible and discriminated against me for my disability. I was not allowed to have anything off their happy hour menu because i was drinking water. Waitress told me i had to order a drink from the bar or a soda. I explained to her my diabetic situation and was still denied. She obviously doesn't know the laws , but she will!!!!

I Stopped by ordered a Crissy chicken salad to go, for 15.99 you would expect it to be fresh got home the salad was wilted the chicken tenders were old I was really disappointed. Food is Already expensive but to get something that's barely edible. So I ate it bread stick and a few bites of the hard chicken tenders off the salad . 17.58 down the drain

Sat at 9:00pm, waited 30 minutes, waitresses argued over who’s table we were, then we ordered our drinks. Waited another 30 minutes, drinks weren’t out yet, left at 10:00 or so. I understand that this was on christmas, however everyone else in the restaurant at least had their drinks brought to them in a reasonable amount of time. Very frustrating experience, although it seemed more like a management or communication issue than an issue with whoever our waitress was supposed to be. Can’t speak to the food because we were unable to eat.

Kelly the hostess on Christmas Day was extremely rude, she should not be a hostess at all. She’d disappear, wouldn’t take down peoples names and when she spoke to you it was rude. But the other lady in green was super friendly. I understand it was busy but it takes just as much energy to be kind as it does to be mean.

My girlfriend and I went there last night, it was moderately not too busy. We order the new hot honey chicken skillet, white queso and chips, a tortilla soup and some drinks. First it took forever for the food to come and when it did it was cold to the touch. Everything even the soup. I live nearby a short walk, by time I made the maybe 7 minute walk when I walked into my hope EVERYTHING I HAD ATE CAME BACK UP FOR VENGEANCE! I mean I was so sick I emptied my stomach, it’s the next morning and I was hoping to feel better but baby I got a fever and been stuck on the toilet since I woke up. I usually don’t do this but I spent $70 in there last night, and to be brought cold and old food that made me sick it upset me. I mean jeez how hard is it to make sure the food is safe for people to eat.

We went to the restaurant in Longview on 10/26/25. The hostess took a minute to greet us but when she did, she had 2 small children in tow. The whole time we were there the kids were running around, following her with no shoes on. We ordered our food, the ribeye steak tasted and chewed like it had been sitting out awhile. The garlic mashed potatoes tasted like they were left over from a few days before. Our waiter ended up disappearing before we could get our ticket. The kid that finally brought us our ticket had his ear plugs in and lip studs completely around his mouth. All in all, was not a good visit. Applebee's used to be amazing! Not anymore! We will definitely not be going back!

This is the 3rd time my family and I have been there each time we waited for 30 minutes to be seated and mind not busy at all restaurant over empty, we were finally seated waited 30 more minutes before the little black waitress came and took our drink order then 2 white families came in and she hurried and seated them and got their drinks mind you we're still waiting on our drinks. I stopped her and asked if I could place a drink order she proceeded to tell me she smelled weed on us so she couldn't serve me a drink, I don't even smoke anything because of my lungs, I asked for a manger 2 came to the table I asked him and her if they smelled weed white manger said he had a cold couldn't smell, black manger said she just had covid and couldn't smell. I really hope you guys get it together but we will not ever be back
