I have walked and driven past this place so many times. I always said to myself that I would come in and that I would take one of their cooking classes. I was running errands as I get ready to move in January so I treated myself to dinner. Walking into this place the first thing you notice is that it’s cozy. The decorations are simple and the menu is scattered on the window above where you place your order. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helped me choose my drink which ironically is one of my favorites. Thai Iced T and she helped me decide on my second dish. The tea was perfect! My first dish was Moo Palo ( Braised Pork Belly with steamed Bach Choy and jasmine rice. ) The Pork Belly was perfectly cooked, tender and extremely flavorful. The rice was fluffy and the wasabi sauce was an amazing complement to the entire dish. The second dish that hit my table was Kee Mow ( Flat rice noodles stir fried in our signature drunken sauce , white onion and bell peppers.) The overall flavor and chew of these noodles was absolutely mind blowing. I topped this dish with their hot sauce, then devoured it. Now I will tell you one thing, do not and I repeat do not come here if you are in any way impatient or unaware that great food takes time. This place is a must visit and I mean that
Stopped in for a late lunch, got quick service and great food! The spicy garlic dumplings were AMAZING! Generous portions of meat in the lunch specials. I had Pad See Ew with beef and my partner had the Chow Main with chicken. So glad we stopped in! Will be back!
This review is overdue since we dined here about 3 weeks ago I wanted to give a shout out to the young lady in the front who was so sweet and provided superior service. The ambiance is lovely ! I really enjoyed dining here, peaceful and inviting. The food was delicious for the most part and I would highly recommend this restaurant if you have a craving for Thai Food. 🥗🍖 🍛
If you haven’t tried Dek Sen’s…what are you waiting for?!?! The food is fresh, plentiful, and served steaming hot. The Kee Mow is great, and if you haven’t had the perfectly crispy Hell’s Wings, you’ll need an order of those. The star of our show today was the Moo Palo, the most melt-in-your-mouth pork belly I’ve had in a while. The staff is friendly and the environment is very clean. Absolutely adding this to our lunch and dinner rotation!
We saw Dek Sen’s post on @sanfernandovalleyeats , so we looked them up. Dek Sen’s is an interesting name, we were told it means favorite person in Thai☺️ We were reluctant to order kimchi fried rice at a Thai restaurant but so glad we did. It was amazing!!! It’s not a typical Korean kimchi fried rice. It has garlicky and tangy flavors. The runny egg yolk blended well with the rice. We also got cream cheese crab Rangoon, fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. LOVED their sweet and sour dipping sauce. We asked for extra to bring home. Very casual, fast and friendly service. You order and pay at the counter. They don’t speak much English but they are very accommodating. We are super happy to find another restaurant close by that we love. Will definitely go back for more!
Dek Sen is a great addition to the awesome Thai food scene in the central SFV. Friendly staff, great food & teas. Happy to have them near our place!

Food comes out fast and is always delicious. I adore this local spot and I hope more people have the chance to check it out. I’ve yet to try something that wasn’t outstanding
Ordered some take out yesterday and can't stop thinking about how good it was! I got their Pad Thai, it was standard and delicious. The service was quick and friendly! Walking into the restaurant to pick up my food showed they have a fun and authentic ambiance as well! I will be ordering from here again!
This is some of the best Thai food I have had in LA served by some of the friendliest people. I have probably eaten here upwards of 15+ times. The lunch specials are so affordably priced, generously portioned and quickly served. The hot sauce they make themselves is delicious and I’ve yet to have a bad menu item. I don’t leave many reviews but this is truly a favorite spot that deserves all of the love and patronage the neighborhood can offer.
Hands down, one of the best Thai restaurants in the Valley. It's a hidden gem where you'd least expect it. The dine-in experience isn't anything to write about, but their takeout is absolutely worth it. You won't be disappointed. The portions are generous, the prices are super reasonable, and the food is flavorful. I highly recommend ordering directly through their website. Not only will you be supporting a small local business, but you'll also save around 20% compared to ordering through Uber Eats or other delivery apps.
Great food at reasonable prices. No longer affiliated with Rustic Spoon so they have some new items on the manu.
There should be a line around the block to get into this place. The braised pork belly fried rice is amazing. We ordered veggie rolls, shrimp rolls, and braised pork belly fried rice. All delicious. Very reasonable prices. There is a little something extra spice wise in the fried rice. I can't quite identify the spice, but it makes all the difference. It's possibly the best pork belly I've had from a restaurant
We usually do pick up. Every single dish we ordered was amazing. The chicken satay is the best we've ever had, hands down. Nothing ordered has disappointed, so I try something new each time. Highly recommend the wasabi noodles and the Roti Bread.
Delicious food, fast, friendly service, cozy & authentic atmosphere. Very quiet inside - some soft music would have been welcome, but great experience overall.
Very tasty and very fresh veggies. People are nice and friendly. Will come here again!

This is my go-to take out place! Everything is delicious, I can never make up my mind about what to get and always end up ordering food that will last me for days. The ladies who work here are the sweetest. Really a gem of a place!

I live half a mile away. My delivery order was barely warm. Took forever to get here. Used their website paid $5.99 for delivery. I feel like I got ripped off. Maybe eat there to avoid all the fees and cold food.
The hole in the wall places are usually the best food-wise and they didn't disappoint.

I've had way better Thai food other places. I know I went at the end of the day if I usually get the bottom of the bar at that point but as far as peptide chicken was pretty bland with the noodles aren't consistent and the flavors just all wrong.

Americanized Thai. Pad Thai with ketchup taste. Pla kra pow from frozen fillets. If you like Thai food would avoid. Seems like a good deal lunch special (by non Thais) is the draw.

The food tastes great, but the portion sizes for $25 are disappointing. For that price, I expected more, especially when other places offer better value. Just a heads-up for anyone considering having their takeaways here.
