Great Korean food known for thei pork neck soup and bbq ribs
Great barbecue pork ribs and the service was super! Will go again!
Pork ribs r so~ good and kimchi spoup is amazing.
The ribs are probably the best you will ever have.
Great Service! Good Good! Must visit Korean Restaurant!
Great food and great service Server name sungho he is very nice
Amazing pork neck stew. Great sides. Like!
Been eating here for twenty years. Waits may be long but sooooo worth it.
Ham Ji Park is probably my favorite Koreatown restaurant. The gamjatang (a pork neck and potato stew that's not nearly as spicy as its fiery red color would have you think) is the best I've ever had, and the spicy pork ribs are divinely sweet, spicy, and ever so slightly charred. I prefer this location over the 6th street location because parking is a bit easier, and the environment is more laid back. You're not really in the heart of Koreatown, so there isn't really much to do around the area (whereas the other location has bars and such nearby), but I kind of appreciate the old school ahjooma vibe of this location.
This is one if not THE best Pork Rib spot you've ever had. I eat here on the regular and their prices keep me coming back. I'd rather not have to wait in long lines but if everyone in LA new about this place it probably wouldn't be easy to get a table here. Enjoy the Dae Ji Galbi!! SP
I love this place! Everyone is so nice and relax, when you enter you can feel like your part of a family. The food is to die for I love the employees there's so calm not in a rush, it gives me a peace.
The pork neck stew and pork short ribs are must get. The portions are big so the dishes will definitely feed 2 if not 3 people.
The pork ribs fantastic. Little bit a spicy. But it's perfect. Very Korean style. You may order beer.
Good food , ribs are amazing , the only one bad thing about this restaurant , they have only one way to place an order , only via phone, no uber, no doordash pick up , no postmate , i hope one day they will be able to do this ..
Best ribs ever. Can't recommend highly enough. One of my favourite LA spots to eat
Pork Ribs are always seasoned just right and and less busy then the other location.
They have the best ribs in town and I love their salad. Not the cheapest place to eat but worth every cent.
Really tasty Korean marinated pork galbi, you have to enjoy once^^ Strongly recommend here^^
Went in Thursday evening- not too busy. We had the signature pork spare ribs and back-bone stew. Also came with rice and bowl of salad. Everything is family style and really good. The stew: good portion, tasty, and my personal favorite. Pork ribs: My friends did say the pork ribs were one of the best they tasted. Parking was easy in the back garage with valet $5. Also had covered outdoor seating, saw a small dog there so I think dogs are allowed on the patio.
This place is known for the pork neck stew and the pork spare ribs. We usually get the pork neck stew. It’s even better to take it home to eat at the comfort of your home because it can get a bit messy. The pork meat is so tender and juicy and full of rich flavor. The broth is so good that you want to drink every drop or mix some rice into it. Everything is so tender and soft that the meat easily comes off the bone. Also the tendon and cartilage is the best part. I have to warn you that it’s a tad bit spicy but if you’re use to spicy foods, this should be fine. Make sure to also try the pork spare ribs too. The second best item on the menu. The ribs have a sweet and spicy marinade on it and the taste is super delicious. Order the pork neck stew and the pork spare ribs as a pair. This amount of food will be good for 3-4 people. They have parking in the back and if you’re lucky street parking is available.
Absolutely one of the best pork spare ribs in the country. Rivals anything out there and there really is nothing like it. Other dishes are good too but always come back for the ribs. Oh and the salad and sides are amazing as well.
Wowww this place was so good. I was super surprised at how fast everything came out. So much food!! I don’t even know what we ate since my boyfriends dad was the one that ordered everything but I literally fell in love with everything. Whatever they put in the salad, chefs kiss. I have never eaten so much salad. Overall amazing food, extremely fast service, cute small environment. Will come again!
It was my first time there, but the food was absolutely DELISH! The pork was so tender and falls off the bone. The restaurant is a bit small, but it made it easier to receive service because the kitchen was right next to you. Would absolutely visit again! I have only one photo and if the video uploads, you can hear the sizzling of the fresh pork ribs! Update: the video was not even an option to upload, but here is the picture!
Food was awesome. Small place and not many tables. Pork ribs and lamb was good.
Free parking, delicious pork galbi, and easy to access.
My go-to comfort food after trips. Their 청국장 is on the point!

Best korean pork bbq ribs and gamjatang in los angeles.
Food was really good all around. Came in by accident and was exactly what I was looking for. Everything was cooked for us which was great.
Great place for tasty grilled pork rib, gamja tang (stew made with pork's neck bone), and other dishes. They offer generous portion and reasonable price. And avove all, it,s yummy!!!
Tasty pork BBQ, fermented soybean paste stew, and fish egg soup. Their portions are generous and great to have for leftovers next day. Staff is always helpful and responsive.
Legendary Korean spare ribs. The best I’ve tried in the country. Remember the good old days 20 years ago, a young buck in LA obsessed with these spare ribs.. just go try them. Close to the Gaylord. Go now.

Pork items are bomb. Banchan items are below average.
Gamja tang here is pretty damn good. I had it several times at other places, but this one is really the only one I am willing to eat. The stew is hearty and perfect for a cold winter night. The pork neck meat comes right off the bones and the potato absorbs the flavor of the stew. The pork ribs are the most popular thing to get here and they live up to the hype. Adding on kimchi fried rice with pork was a great way to carb up, and it was really tasty. One gripe I have though is that it's really greasy and they could probably do without adding the extra butter. Just a matter of preference though. Now all your night needs now is some bokbunja-ju or some soju and you're set! Service is pretty good, they get you what you need and they don't skimp on banchan if you ask for a lot. The decor is bright and clean, but can be a little cramped on a busy night. And it does get busy at times. This place is one of the premiere restaurants in K-Town and for good reason. Parking is standard K-Town valet for $2 in case you're wondering.
Great pork ribs and soy bean paste soup, but the place is pretty run down and they had some leaking issues in the kitchen which overflowed to the hallway and was reeking of chlorine smell while trying to enjoy my food
After over 30 years .. still good food... I usually don't eat pork, butttttt I eat here.... Took one star off for seemingly way too high price for pork rib....
I always come here when in town. Convenient for big groups and the price is right. Pork chops and the stew are what you're looking for.
Food was fantastic, honestly, some of the best I've ever had (and I've had PLENTY of Korean food since moving to SoCal in 2019). Ambiance was really good too. Super chill place to eat at. 10/10. Parking is extremely tight, though. So, highly recommend to go and find street parking and then walk over here.
This place is known for its delicious Korean pork ribs and soups. There’s a branch on 6th street, but the staff there isn’t very friendly, which is why I haven’t been there. The staff at this location is much nicer, and the food is even better than at the 6th street branch.
A true ghetto country market style food and atmosphere with great pork ribs! If you love food - especially bbq pork ribs, you have to try this restaurant. Everything here is authentic. I would recommend the pork belly or ribs. You will not be disappointed.

HamjiBak, you will be missed!! They're closing at the end of the month, so I had to come back one last time for good time's sake. Pork neck stew - still as good as I remembered it from five years ago! The price went up of course since then, and soup refill is additional $3. Pork ribs - sooo goooood. Complimentary salad was just as good as I remembered. Banchan (side dishes) were meh. Service was absent. I waited 40 minutes on Tuesday night for dinner. Parking is free in the lot behind the restaurant, but if it's full, there are free street spots around the area. Bathroom is separated by gender in the back. They are only accepting cash, Venmo, or Zelle. They do not take any more orders after the first order is placed.

Old fashion korean pork bbq place. They are less spicier than looks. Worth a try.
Don't order 감자탕... it is about the worst food I ever had at a restaurant !!
Side dishes were under average: Not that fresh Gamjatang was with many chunks of bones; which was good but it’s taste is below average: too sweet None of my group didn’t like the whole food

If I could give zero stars I would. The service was extremely rude. The banchan was super sour, so I could tell they were old. The food was also just not good. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
burned pork ribs. waiter didn't wash his hands after smoking and he was serving again. so disgusting. and we called server so many times never come. bad service
So so. Gam ja tang is just meat and soup without any veggies or potatoes…
It was the worst experience I have ever had.... waiter was rude... food is expensive and not very good .. I told the waiter that I didn't like his service and he said. Well don't come back here any more. ... I wont
Salad was soooo not fresh. I ate only 2 leaf and trash it everything. Looks like recycled. 0-star.!! Never go back.

Rude bad service the manager yelling screaming at customers, servers sneezing on food. We waited for our table, but when he came out to get us he gave our table to someone else. No wonder this place is bank for closure by the bank for not paying there bills.
