A really interesting blend of Mediterranean cuisine, Middle Eastern flavors, and a modern serving concept. The food is delicious, and I highly recommend trying it.
Ordered delivery. Too good. Salmon had perfect texture and the sides (tumeric cabbage, spiced carrots) were incredibly flavorful on great quality pita.
Really great casual spot for a delicious dinner. Loads of vegetarian options and huge portions, so come with a big appetite! We had the pita wrap/sandwich with falafel, hummus side, falafel side, and sumac fries split between 2 people and had leftovers to take home for lunch the next day. The falafel is a 7/10 for me as it could use some spice I can’t quite place to make it perfect but it’s fried really well and crispy. The huge portion of sumac fries was delicious and well fried as well. The salad that came with the falafel side was so tasty and crisp, really fresh greens! The hummus was smooth and creamy and the fresh soft fluffy pita with it was great. We were part of a party of 6 and had no trouble finding a table on a week night, food came out over several rounds but was all hot and fresh when it got to us. Highly recommend
Nice patio eating area, rustic style. I ordered the merguez plate. Very savory and juicy. Served with a salad, tahini and a good pita bread. Also a choice of lentil soup, mejadra rice or Jerusalem salad. I also shared a sweet, rich and nutty baklava. Delicious ! Nice service and a great place to have a conversation over a good meal.
Very cute outdoor patio. First place I’ve been to in a while where the portion sizes actually justify the cost! We ordered the Brussels sprouts, sumac fries, beef/lamb pita and the salmon salad. The Brussels sprouts were delicious; not too oily and nice and crispy. Sumac fries went great with all the different dipping sides. (Which they did not skimp out on at all) Beef/lamb pita was moist and juicy. Loved the beets in the salmon salad! And we still had so much food leftover! Will definitely come back.
This place is absolutely insane. This is hands down the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. And I don’t ever say that about anything. The fried broccoli is nuts. The falafel is a must too. And the chicken shawarma plate is top tier.
Food is really flavorful and if you get a plate you get a lot of food, comes w rice salad bread and hummus , the baclava is also amazing , brown sugar and pecan flavor. We tried the salmon, chicken shawarma, and the meat patties plates, the broccoli side was also so delicious . Outdoor seating only! But there is plenty of shade and fans to keep cool, also dog friendly. They have free water and cups on the patio.
Came for lunch on a Thurs. It was rough finding parking as there is very limited street parking and no parking lots, only neighborhood parking. Staff was amicable and quick service. I ordered the Kofta plate with lentil soup. Overall good meat (little tough), hummus was great as was the lentil soup. Pita bread was great as well, very soft. Ambiance is decent, good amount of seating outside.
This place was great. I got a chicken shawarma and I don’t know what kinda sauce they put in that thing but it was very sweet with a little citrus taste, the chicken was very well seasoned, and it was tasty. The fries were also very well seasoned and crispy. Overall, the food here was very delicious! The outdoor patio had a very relaxing vibe with trees and lights above us which I also loved. I hope to come back to this place again and I recommend it to anyone looking for some delicious Mediterranean food.😊😋
Miz La La is an ideal place for pampering your taste buds and for introducing visiting family and friends to the best that LA has to offer. The ambiance is comfortable to be with friends and cozy enough to take a date. The menu has options for vegetarians and carnivores. My favorites are the falafel, chicken shawarma, and fries. Do try all the small salads they have. There is usually street parking available, but during busy hours, you may have to park down the block. The food is simply healthy and tasty. Some portions are very generous.
Yo this place was way better than I expected. I have high standard for this kind of cuisine and they knocked it out the park. The chicken was so juicy and succulent. The rice was divine and the sauces and pickled dishes they added were amazing. A great place for a quick bite to eat or to chill with friends. I can’t wait to try the fish as well as their beef and lamb kebab. I felt very full after finishing this def counts as a good healthy meal with lots of green options
What a gem in West Adams. The food was BOMB. everything is super fresh and the ambiance is great. It was super busy when we went but were able to find a table. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and I also Ordered the chicken shewarma plate which came with a side and pita. The pita was nice and fresh. Not sure if they’re made to order or not but tasted like they were just made. The flavors were fantastic and I can’t wait to Go back.
The food here is excellent but unfortunately I had a bad experience here because of the poor service. I had ordered sides of fries and falafel along with my main order. We had to ask them three times about the sides, and eventually only received the fries after waiting for 30 minutes. We never received the falafel. Also the chicken pargiyot was not warm, seemed like it had been cooked a long time earlier. It's a shame because this restaurant serves great food, hope they can get their act together again.
This is my first time here but I'll definitely return. It turned my skeptic dad into a fan. This restaurant has opened in my childhood neighborhood that I visit when I regularly visit my parents. And for me it's a little bit of a food variety desert. I can get pupusas and tacos and fast food at every corner. But if I want something different from that... Everything at this Mediterranean place tasted amazing. I did not know what to order. I walked in with a skeptic dad that didn't even want to look at the menu and two kids under The person at the register. I don't know employee owner doesn't matter. He said I got you. And he really did. I posted photos of everything. Everyone ate everything. And I have plenty of leftovers for my husband at home 🙂 So I wish they had a wait stuff? Yes. The staff were helpful when I asked but it's not the same. And if you're going to ask me for a tip upfront, there is an expectation there. For me anyway
Last night was really cute! We had a going away dinner here and we were stuffed! Food wise we had: Broccoli: really nice Brussels: my favorite thing of the evening! 11/10 Oyster Mushrooms: chargrilled taste, delicious green sauce Fries: crispy, nice garlic sauce and seasoning, just fries Hummus: smooth, creamy Chicken Shawarma Pita: only okay Salmon Plate: salmon was cooked well Falafel: crispy, herby, great flavor and texture Pargiyot plate: juicy chicken with a nice cook on the outside, not super flavorful Mint lemonade: refreshing, sweet Service was great and the patio was adorable. I loved all the plants and trees. There was a speaker above us that kept going in and out and was a little overstimulating at times.
I had to try this little eatery on a warm Summer evening. The ambience is lovely. The kitchen sits in the back and it is small but always bustling with movement. You have to walk through the outdoor only dining area complete with potted Olive trees to place your order or peruse the menu. It's nice, clandestine and inviting. The young lady who took our order did not smile and seemed to have a perpetual scowl on her face. She was not very warm and friendly when I first met her. I went back a second time and she was a bit more welcoming but thank goodness the food is delicious or I would not keep coming back. She isn't the reason you go anyways (the guy that takes the orders as well is way nicer and friendlier). I ordered the chicken plate with salad but my date got his usual salmon plate and let me tell you...after sampling his meal, I was disappointed I didn't just follow his lead. The chicken was tasty and very good but that salmon!!!!!! Wow...nicely cooked and seasoned and just DELICIOUS! We also ordered the brussel sprouts and those are delicious as well. I've gone back two more times after my initial visit to get the salmon and brussel sprouts. Things to consider: check your food before you leave. They missed my rice the second time I ordered and forgot my pita bread. They kinda apologized but basically told me to check my food. I'm passing that advice on to you. You have to grab the plastic utensils and napkins yourself as they do not add that to the bag. The salmon is 20 something and the Brussels are 10 something...so you are paying close to 40 for one meal but it is worth it. Parking is terrible. Dine in at least once to enjoy the ambience. Happy Eating!
Food is delicious. Fresh Pitas and delicious chicken and shwarma. Tables are all outside and often dirty. The area is very busy and parking is a challenge unless you want to pay for vallet.
I ate here with my parents and two out of three of our meals were delicious. Unfortunately my mother’s chicken schnitzel tasted like a bland chicken McNugget. Also, everything is given to you in disposable plates and cutlery. Not only is this such poor form to sit at a restaurant and then have to clean up your own table and throw tons of stuff into our landfills, but also have you ever tried cutting a chicken schnitzel with a plastic fork and knife?
The food looks delicious, but was way too salty for our liking. If they didn't put as much salt in all the food it would be better. The Brussels were the tastiest thing we ordered, but needed less salt.
