My first time ever visiting a Smashburger and it lived up to the hype. I put in a mobile order to go. It was made fast, and the employees were friendly (can be rare in L.A.). The place was very clean inside also. But most importantly the burgers were AMAZING. This was made fast but it isn't "fast food" quality. Its more like a sit down restaurant burger. It's ugly and juicy and "old school" style. Pure delicious. Oh the prices are amazing too. You could easily spend this much at a fast food joint and get way lower quality. The fries are amazing and compliment it perfectly. You gotta go here at least once.

Yesterday was my first experience with this establishment! First and foremost I have to give the cashier Jocelyn a special thank you!! She was ultimately the reason I placed my order,after finding out they did not sell turkey burgers. I was ready to leave until she enlighten me to the chicken burger,which I would highly recommend as she did for me. All said and done I can say I will be returning whenever I'm working in that area(she even hooked me up with an employee discount when she saw I was security). Definitely a great burger. I got the bacon smashed at about 9:30 and on a Saturday night. It was perfect. I had to leave this review… at this time they had a 3.8 and that’s definitely not correct they’re definitely 4.5 +++ I would eat here again anytime any day! Definitely will not disappoint. Price is decent too. Great Value!

Was there for the Clippers game and been wanting to try their burgers. Definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the single smashburger with tots. My buddy ordered sweet potato fries and garlic tots. Burger was flavorful and the fries/tots were all good. The garlic tots were the only item that was just, meh. Just a heads up, they don't have a public restroom.

My roommate was craving some burgers and this place came up. Although the restaurant is located inside a seemingly fancy hotel, it has a very chill and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful and the ordering process is smooth. Now to the food. Even though I ordered the vegetarian burger, it was juicy and extremely delicious. The sweet potato fries were also amazing. Three of my other family members ordered the cheeseburger and each one of them found it to be flavorful and tasty. The last of my family members ordered a grilled cheese which was also wonderful. Honestly amazing burgers with an amazing atmosphere. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

This was a quick and delicious burger! The staff was helpful and the food was good. Not as many menu options as other locations, but they made up for that with a better tasting burger. Oreo shake was ice cold for a summers warm day. Health rating on the door was a B, but that stands for Better.

Really great breakfast buffet. Wonderful fruit options, probably the best fruit quality I’ve had in America at a breakfast buffet. They had eggs to order, various muffins and breads, and a hot line of meats potatoes and eggs. Would have liked a better tea selection. Our server was surprisingly rude, I don’t mind monotone or short, but he was snippy and just outright unpleasant. Hostess was kind.

DELICIOUS! The Italian cuisine that is showcased at this restaurant is stellar! I had the rigatoni bolognese and I literally melted into my seat when I had my first bite, so flavorful! I paired my meal with an avocado Caesar salad and an exquisite Italian Cheesecake covered in chocolate with a serving of ice cream and cocoa powder. Staff was okay, my waitress was attentive and polite but overall they were quite awkward. However, I would return to this restaurant as it had excellent food options and shout out to the young lady who brought all the dishes to my table she was so kind-hearted and professional! Note: this is a pricier, upscale establishment but its causal and welcoming!

Ordered take-away from this place. Love the mushroom pizza and seafood pasta. They taste good even it’s takeaway. Ordered both garlic fries and regular fries too. Garlic fries a bit soggy, but regular fries taste good.

When we came the first time, we took two pasta dishes it was really good and tasteful. The chocolate cake was good. However the second time was disapointing, the service wasn’t as good as the first time and the angus steak wasn’t what we expected for the price. The quality of the meat wasn’t there but the vegetables were really good and well seasoned. The burger was ok, the chips that came with it was oily and tasted mid.

Our server Andrea deserves more than the 5 stars. Not only did she explained things super well, she did everything with a smile. Having to work on Christmas day is definitely not fun but that didn't deter her from being extra charming.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: The food was ok, but there was no wow factor for me. I'm not sure I would come back. They have a different menu for brunch... maybe the food is better? Service was excellent though!! AMBIANCE: Located in the JW Marriott hotel. Noise level is noisy since it's open concept to the hotel lobby. DRESS CODE: Smart Casual ORDERED: Came for DineLA 10/2023. We got the roasted beet salad, burrata, braised beef, seared branzino, pumpkin spice cheesecake, and a birthday dessert on the house! For drinks: Will You Stay in LA? and Little Italy SERVICE: Service was exceptional! Super friendly and attentive! PARKING: I'm sure you can park at the hotel, but we found street parking for free and walked two blocks.

We stayed in the hotel and came for breakfast, which was not included in our hotel stay. It was not busy on a Wed morning around 9:30am, yet we had to wait at the reception for a while before we got seated as there was no one available to attend to us at the reception counter. As we got seated, the server came with coffee and orange juice and asked what we like so we said coffee. She poured us coffee and then asked if we had breakfast included in our stay which we said no. She gave us the menu and said coffee was included if we ordered buffet. When we later clarified that we didn't want buffet and wanted to order ala carte breakfast and cappuccino instead, she was not very friendly although she took back the coffee. The food here was ok but expensive.

The roasted cauliflower has fresh flavorful herbs. So grateful they offer a vegan option. Service here is excellent. Wouldn't come back though unless I happened to be at the hotel or nearby.

Dining room was open and airy and service was fairly good however the food was a bit of a disappointment. Ordered the Tagliatelle with bolognese and was served a bowl of spaghetti with meat sauce. Apparently they were out of Tagliatelle and didn't think it necessary to inform me of a substitution. I changed my order as what was presented was wholly unappealing unless you were 6 years old leaving my partners to sit and wait while her meal got cold. No offer to remake hers to serve us at the same time, as if it was a fast food order instead of a dining experience. The dishes were nothing special, the Goat cheese agnolotti was overly sweet. Cavatelli with crab and corn sauce was very heavy handed. Did not live up to expectations, especially with so many alternatives in walking distance.

Watch the Superbowl at the restaurant. Great to see they are equipped with some TV here. However, the TVs inside might be too old fashioned without enough clarity. The newly designed TVs outside have no sound while it's really cold when staying outside at night after sunset without the necessary heaters. The food is just all right but somehow expensive. I have waited for a long time to have my salad and Sweet Potato fries. As the Cobb salad only has bacon without other protein costs $10.99 I chose to order another Grilled Chicken which cost $3.99 with only a small piece of Chicken Breast. Crazy... damn. However, the sweet potato fries are at a large amount. The staff are welcome here.

I’ve heard great things about smash burger and was excited to try this location. It disappointed. Be prepared to pay an up charge from what I’m assuming is the location at LA Live. As you can see from the pics taken, the single burger was $11 and an order of fries was $5. As a heads up, you can get an order of fries inside of staples center cheaper than this place. Additionally, the beers on tap were down to two options and shakes were no longer available at 6:15pm. For the price and location, I would have rather gotten two bacon wrapped hot dogs from street vendors instead.

I finally went here for lunch to try it out since I work just a block away. I told the hostess I needed a quick lunch she said great! And I was seated. A long 15 minutes or so passed and someone finally comes to fill my water cup and take my order. I put in an order for their 30ish dollar lunch dish. Another long 25 minutes went by and no one came to fill my water and the food was not ready. I needed to go back to work and tried to flag down a manager to tell them they were too slow, but alas no one was at the front booth or anywhere to be fount - no waters, no busboy, no one. Worst part is, they weren’t even full. The family next to me was also looking around in confusion as to why things were taking so long. Fail all around.

20 min wait for stale fries and chicken tenders. Literally zero flavor except for the breading which was also stale. It tastes microwaved. To make matters worse they didnt even have dipping sauce. I'll never eat here again. Also, it's overpriced.
