This place is very well-known as a Korean BBQ restaurant, and for good reason. They offer many different styles of meat, especially dry-aged cuts with a unique and memorable flavor. The service is outstanding—staff are always smiling, constantly coming over to grill the meat for you before you even ask, and making sure the table is fully taken care of. The side dishes are generous and refilled endlessly, including doenjang stew, begee paste stew, and other banchan that pair perfectly with the meat. The highlight at the end was the nurungji with doenjang stew, which was absolutely amazing. It was a truly new and enjoyable dining experience, and I’m already thinking about coming back again. Oh, we was 6 people and ordered chef cut combo and variety combo large. Was enough .
It was my first time visiting the new location, and I really liked the clean store and the spotless restrooms. The quality of all the meats were excellent, and the boneless short rib (Kkot-sal) and lamb were especially delicious. The side dishes (Banchan) were light and plain, which was great for pairing with the meat. We also separately ordered Myeongi-namul (mountain garlic leaves), and it is even more delicious when wrapped together with the pork belly (Samgyeopsal) and beef brisket (Chadol). The server kindly grilled the meat perfectly for us and refilled the side dishes. A unique point was the individual tongs provided, which were great and convenient for picking up both the meat and the perilla leaf side dish. One drawback was that the chairs were lower than the table height, which made eating a bit uncomfortable.
I highly recommend Yangmani for Korean BBQ! The grilled meat is absolutely delicious, and the service is really great. Definitely worth a visit!
The food was incredible. We ordered the chef’s selection, and the quality and portion size were impressive. Worth traveling for, and will definitely be coming back here in the future.
Yangnami has upgraded to slightly higher-end quality meat after relocating. The unmarinated beef has a bit of a distinct flavor that some may love while others may not, making it a question of whether it’s worth the price in a restaurant with this kind of ambiance. However, the marinated short ribs are excellent, and the variety of meats available is a definite plus.
Amazing food, so worth the price as well! The 대창 is so delicious!! I have twin babies and the restaurant was very accommodating to my family & I with our stroller. We really appreciated it since we previously came from a way more spacious outdoor restaurant that gave us horrible service due to us having babies with us. So we left and decided to come to Yangmani instead to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Will be back for the amazing food and wonderful welcoming service from the staff! Thank you!
This place has become one of my favorite K bbq spots recently. Literally every side dish makes your eyes wide open👀. So delicious!!! Love getting the combo that includes pork meats and intestines! Don’t forget to ask for rice😋.
You can tell a KBBQ isn't messing around when all the side dishes are basically just wraps for the meat. Dry aged beef, XL galbi and offal cuts are specialties here.
Got chef’s combo Bf likes the mixed combo more and I agree. The 2nd meat in chef’s combo was soft but the 3rd and 4th meat were a bit grainy. I would take my Korean mom here. Side dishes are Korean focused (sprout kimchi, pear salad, spicy beef ssam, bean biji soup), not Americanized (potato salad, fish cake). Side dishes can’t be taken out just fyi!
Delicious Korean BBQ and they will help you with the cooking of it, so don’t worry! Get the combo so you get all the yummy little sides like spicy salad and noodle soups. The meats are delicious - we like the thin brisket and marinated rib the best. Mix and match how you like! Don’t forget to try all the condiments. 5pm was a good time to go, by 6pm there was a wait but it didn’t seem too long. Servers are friendly and willing to explain all the tricks of how to order and eat everything you order 😅 if you are unsure.
Great combo size for 2. Loved their quality of meat and side dishes. We ordered combo for two, pork with intestines combo. Just a right size and portion. Service pretty decent. I didn’t like every worker comes and touch the meat. Overall I was very satisfied. I would definitely go back. Its sad that they only open after 5pm.
They have really interesting side dishes here. I have never tried most of them but the red ones are all spicy lol. Personally, I am not a big fan of intestines so I didn't order that. I wish there was as large a selection of meat as side dishes, but the brisket, boneless short rib, pork jowl, and pork belly were really good. There's valet and street parking if you're lucky but the area around the restaurant is pretty sketchy.
Went back after several months. Was a big fan of the other location on 8th but when it first moved, the food was way different and banchan was poorly stocked. Recently tried them again and it was as good if not better than its original location. I do like the bigger space and atmosphere felt more welcoming and festive. Some same servers have stayed through the years and we drink with them like old times. Good to be back.
The restaurant is tiny with friendly staff. There’s a lot of new side dishes that I have never tried and thought it was interesting the meat was good. We got combo C. More than enough food for 3. Overall experience was good. Except I was sitting in a puddle of grease beneath my feet. I didn’t know where to put my feet because it was just all over the floor was I was sitting. Will come back next time to try other dishes in the menu. We came in late but they were still trying to accommodate us with a big smile which was a plus. Thank you!
4.5. Quality quality quality. Awesome place. Service was great. Valet is $3. Banchan is unlike any other. They have jang Jo leem, spicy beef, beef tar tar and other high end banchan. We got combo 4 which was amajing. They heat up their meat daen jang on the grill. Their salad mix is legit. We had a staff dinner their and it was so much fun. Their tables are marble and seating is plush. This def is NOT ur Ayce place… meat quality is legit. I’m not a baller enough to go here all the time but def on my list if I want to impress someone. They have valet parking which may take time bc the lot is small but dude is cool.
A good place to have bbq after work. Food is great portion! We’re 4 girls and ordered the combo for 2 guys plus one other dish. And we’re all full. The staff is very nice, he mentioned the amount is enough for girls. Not asking us to order more.

Delicious meal. We had the combo and could switch out some meat so we got the intestines instead of tripe - so yummy. The manager was very warm and welcoming. They cook all the food for you, although they move fast so we felt rushed to have the next meat. Sides are all delicious. I came here 2 years ago and I think the food is even better now than it was last time.
The restaurant has very little interior charm or decoration, however the food makes up for this. Meats are very fresh and quality cuts. Ask sides are well done, nicely presented and well spiced. They do the grilling at your table so you don't have to. It's Korea town and parking is very difficult, arrive early to find a spot. Seating indoors and outside. The staff are friendly and helpful. One of the better places for real, non-scene Korean BBQ in LA.

The daechang and makchang were delicious. It's a shame they don't have fried rice. One server was always stern and silent, and another splashed soy sauce on my shirt and quickly apologized. Everything was neither good nor bad. I'll go back again if I crave daechang.

We came here expecting a good meal and ordered a combo for two. At first, the meat was grilled well and the experience was decent, so we decided to order an additional à la carte dish (daechang). Unfortunately, that’s where the experience changed. The additional order was not grilled for us and came out completely burnt to the point that it was not edible. The inconsistency in service and food quality between the initial order and the additional order was disappointing. On top of that, the response from what seemed to be either the owner or a manager felt quite unfriendly. The level of service clearly changed depending on the situation, which left a bad impression. Even AYCE bbq places have better service thesedays. Ever since real owner passed away, things are downgraded so much.
