My friend took me here and I was impressed. Nice meaty burger, friendly staff, and kosher to boot. Hey the fries well done is my suggestion. And the spicy burger was yummy. I'll be back to try the spicy lamb burger next.
I love the burgers over here. Very tasty Very delicious I normally order a regular burger medium well and it's always delicious Love the entire menu and the ambience I would definitely recommend coming here for a nice kosher burger especially on a Saturday evening when they are open until really late.
Me and my friends come here all the time. It tastes good and is one of the only kosher meat places open on Saturday night. Try the chicken fingers cooked in sweet chili, its the bomb.
Do you want amazing clean burger do you want an amazing chicken sandwich do you want Israeli salad? Do you want hot wings that are kosher I love the lamb burger comes with jalapeños. This is one of the best Los Angeles Burger joints on pico and La Cienega. Lovely place clean friendly family setting nice and safe for you to kosher meal. It kosher is the best way to have healthy food they make lots of different Israeli salads they make a chicken sandwich that’s amazing chicken wraps everything is organic and healthy. I highly recommend you visiting LA Burger bar on Pico in Los Hannukah.
Excellent kosher fast food in the los angeles area. Can't think of any other place that could offer you this great menu and kosher too.
Food was delicious!!! They have gluten free options... The vibe there was great, although very full. They told us upfront what the wait time would be which was really appreciated!
Ssoooooosssoooo good. My wife and i love the homemade burger feel amd taste.. she had the lamb burger and i had the l.a burger and both were so delicious. Love the vibe of the place, the decor and the music playing was great. Definitely coming back
If you ever wanted to eat meat and dairy together but you have a small conflict, that your a God fear'n tzitzis wear'n jew, and you know that you can never never ever, eat milk and meat together ... they got some options here for you. Go for the nachos. You can't go wrong. Topped with vegan cheese, Delicious.
Delicious food, big portions and fast service!
I got take out and the Tower and Spicy Lamb burgers were great, as were the "cheesy" fries.
Food was decent and the customer service was outstanding!!
Was open at 10 PM in LA when few were!! Super yummy, got the chicken rice bowl and was actually great flavors and fresh, filling generous portion, really nice choice
Good food, affordable 🤍
The place to be in LA for kosher food really good vibe I would recommend eating outside it’s really nice and the food is מאין עולם הבא 😋
great food service was amazing and really quick service highly recommend
I love this upbeat place and crave the chicken on a regular basis! Great for families and dates.... Saturday nights gets hectic but who cares? Its Saturday night ! 🙆♀️ Best customer service and love that the owners are back there cooking along with their staff, great guys.
i visit this restaurant every time i come from nyc. its probably my favorite kosher restaurant in LA. the burgers are mouthwatering and i got the wings last time which were also really good. just wish they had a little more seating but thats not a big deal. definitely will return
It’s a great spot to grab a filling meal. I ordered the nachos and my friend got chicken tenders. We shared them and couldn’t finish, that’s how much food there was! It was pretty tasty too :)
Wow the food really smacked food was really really good
I've been going to Burger bar for years it is a staple in the community great food despite being Burger bar they have lots of options I love their chicken soup and salad.
Wonderful! We had the chicken soup, steak sandwich, and fries. Portion sizes were very generous, prices were good, and the food was very delicious and comforting :)
An easy 5 stars for me! I visited Cali recently and couldn’t get enough this place! Very tasty fresh food; portions are generous and the prices are more than reasonable! One of the most well rounded kosher restaurants I’ve ever been to! Well done! Keep doing what your doing!
I ordered food to bring home. The food came in a short amount of time and everything I asked for was there. The best part was the quality of the food. This was the most delicious hamburger I ever ate! The sides were very good too!
Our first time there today for lunch. I had the steak salad and I have to say it was probably one of the best steak salads I've had so far. The quality of the steak was not only juicy and tasty but also plenty of it. Many places put two strips of dry steak on top of a bed of lettuce and call it a steak salad - not this place. They are very generous and you most certainly get your money's worth. The salad was fresh and well seasoned. The burger was also delicious - it looked and tasted homemade and the fries were hot and fresh. Loved the experience! Definitely coming back.
felt compelled to leave a review after I saw bizarre reviews from "foodies" who complain about the stupidest things. Their BBQ wings here are fire. They also have a brisket or pulled beef sandwich on sourdough type bread that is very good.
Wow! This place is underrated. The food is incredible.!!!! If you want guaranteed delicious food, home like warm environment like the old days restaurants - this is fantastic!! I was blown away at every dish 10 out of 10 - and I’m a picky foodie;) I’ve been to all the latest fad kosher restaurants in the area and I love many of them but there’s something about the simplicity of this place; generous portions, decent prices, booth, and most important the quality food that really blew me away. I also like the simplicity of just ordering at the counter and the buzzer rings when your food is ready no back-and-forth with waiters, etc.
Easily one of my favorite restaurants in LA. Just tried the new fries up from the menu And honestly, I have to say it’s one of the best things I’ve had. Definitely gonna order catering
Love it!!! Yessy was very helpful kind and polite taking my order. Onion rings are the best.
Great salads, tenders, burgers, fries, and tacos! Service is typically quick and food is practically always on point. A great place for casual dining, sharing a meal with friends or family, or treating your little ones! Take advantage of the refillable self-serve soft drink cup they offer.
Got the BBQ Pulled Beef Sandwich and it was very good. Everything was very tasty. This place has very generous portion sizes (probably some of the most generous I've seen).
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and it’s easily one of my favorite places to eat. I’ve tried just about every item on the menu and have never been disappointed. The food here is always fresh and always tasty. Of course, my favorite thing to order are their burgers and they have a variety of different styles of burgers to choose from! I personally don’t feel like you can go wrong with any of them. They’re all unique in their own way. The restaurant itself is always clean and bigger than many other kosher restaurants in the area, with seating available inside as well as outside. The staff are all very friendly as well and the food comes out quickly, which is always a plus. Their extensive menu means there is always something for everyone so it’s where we usually go when we go out to eat with a large group. LA Burger Bar has been my go to spot for years and it’s a restaurant that I consistently recommend to anyone looking for some great food.
Definitely tasted good. The service could use some help because every time an order is ready they shout the names at the top of their lungs while everyone's trying to have a nice meal.
Amazing varieties of my classic favorites. Would love to come and dine again.
Good burgers. The pricing is fair and portions are large. Salads are very sharable. There is no need for each person to get their own meal, other than the burgers of course.
Great burgers! And the beef tacos, what a surprisingly amazing food. Got this food late night and it sure did deliver. Never heard of the place before, but it had good reviews and it was one of the only late night spots to get a burger delivered. Fries good. Burger good. TACOS GOOD! Nicely done all around.
Great place for late night cravings. I called ahead and picked up food. Per recommendations in the reviews I got the sweet chili tenders and sweet potato fries and they were great! +1 for Kosher!
Very tasty food. Hamburgers are very good. Can be very crowded upwards of a 40 Minute wait with no available seating as the place is very popular and crowded. Service can be alot better though, as employees do not smile and seem unhappy to truly provide the 100% Customer service experience. SMILE
Food is tasty. Hearty salad size and fresh ingredients on burger. Unfortunately we had issues with the ordering tablet and no ice in the soda machine. Plus it’s a bit weird to a posted charge of $0.25 for sauces like salad dressing and ketchup, but then there’s ketchup on the tables. Fine to charge for it, just not common at that price point so a bit confusing.
Great vibe and atmosphere. The food tasted delicious! If you like burgers and fries, this is the place to go to!
Ordered stake salad. The meat was chewy and a bit overcooked. By the way the meat is pounded. Please don’t pound it and give customers an option of how well done the meat can be cooked. Ordered other items in the past and food was great. They did give me some extra free sauces for the salad which is always nice.
Food is very good and service is fast. Prices are kind of high but totally worth it.
Good food atmosphere is old and dated but we still enjoy it.
The lamb burgers was real good. service was good also really enjoyed my lunch at La Burger bar.
It was a little challenging to find parking, ended up parking a block away. The food was good and burger was juicy. The sweet potato fries were amazing. I think it is a little over priced for a burger, fries and a fountain drink. Two of us ate for $52. Staff was friendly and inviting.
So this place gets REALLY busy on Saturday night, nonetheless my food was ready quick and tasted pretty good. I ordered the Lamb Burger as well as the Buffalo Wings. The burger tasted good but the wings were smothered in Frank's red hot. I still ate them though! 😉 🤷♂️ 7/10 would recommend.
Decent burger as a burger fanatic I visited this place based off the reviews in my opinion didn't live up to it in full. The burger reminded me of burger king seems like the patties are premade which is a no no in my book for a gourmet burger. However my girlfriend had the wrap and said it was really good. I would pick this place over any chain burger spot the service was good and friendly and the cookie was pretty good.
My burger wasn't very flavorful, but maybe it's because I got the jalapeno cheddar cheese spread which was a bit overpowering. At least the burger was juicy. The bun seemed like some generic store bought one. Maybe I've been spoiled from "fancier" burgers, but the bun was too dense and didn't complement the meat well.
Got it for free delivery so take this with a grain of salt but I live close by. Got the LA burger and onion rings which came with three sauces: one being ranch the other russian, not sure about the other. Definitely agree with them being watery or really thin, the ranch was also took sweet. Patty wasn't medium rare and burger tasted ok, nothing really special. Rings were fried nicely but could use a bit more seasoning.
Food is Great, if your willing to suffer the wait. Even when there's zero customers or still takes 20 minutes for your food. I guess extra long care makes for better fare...
Everything’s kosher if that is of help to anyone. There is no table service here and the ambiance is very casual. I had a burger and it was pretty good, but nothing too special. Lots of options and it’s a decent quick-bite.
Average tasting burgers. They look hand made and fresh. But the patty's flavor is lacking. Buns ok. No combos. French Fries bought separately, and they are uninteresting. This place is definitely not worth over $20 for a 1/2lbs burger, fries, and a drink. For example, 5 Guys has much better flavor for the same price. The restaurant was super crowded with uncontrollable children running around throwing things and parents ignoring them. I was looking around the restaurant, and i think i was the only one there eating a burger. So maybe the other stuff on the menu is good. 🤷♂️ Oh, also, it seems that they call out partial food orders that are ready, not the entire order. A lady sitting with a party of 4 kids and 3 adults got called 5 times to pick up food at the window. Seems annoying to have to pick up several times and everyone in your party eating and waiting different times.
The experience here is never usually great for me several times of accepting my cold and very small portions of food finally decided to return it didn't have my receipt well that's alright you see because the bar have there own copy filed in there system and can without a doubt pin point your order down to the color of your hair and the same woman who helped me just 10 minutes earlier swore she couldn't retrieve my receipt (not my problem) right? Wrong! And yes she does infact know without a doubt remember helping me managed to reached the executive decision all on her own there was no help for me forcing down my throat another unpleasant experience with no money back. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. No overhead running the joint overseeing customers are treated very rude and usually left to fin for themselves. Unbelievable......
After walking by this burger joint and smelling the wonderful aroma, I finally had a chance to stop in and give them a try. The staff was friendly and the experience was fine, however our food took an exceptionally long time to arrive. We spot checked everything before leaving (to go order) but realized that there were numerous mistakes once we got home and unpacked all the food. Nothing was inedibly wrong, but nothing was quite how we'd ordered it either. Despite this, it smelled great and we dug in... To very disappointing food. These burgers were mediocre at best; not awful but not remarkable either.. I won't ever crave these burgers, but I'll admit that this place is constantly busy, so give it a try and decide for yourself!
I always love this place:food is great and affordable. But this Sunday night it's a nightmare:they're way behind and we've been waiting for our food for an hour. I tried calling before coming to see if they were busy and if we should choose another place but they just kept hanging up the phone (I saw the girl at the counter actually doing it when I got here). If only they answered and said there was an hour waiting time... Very disappointing. My kids are climbing up the walls, it's loud as hell in here, and we almost had to fight to get a table. Plus, when they call out the order, it's unintelligible, so we have to stand by the window and keep asking if it's ours. It's increasingly frustrating.
It's got "burger" in the title so it must have a lot of burger options... But one of those options is NOT cheese. No American, no swiss, no cheddar, just vegan cheese for non-vegan beef burgers. I don't get it. A burger just isn't the same without cheese so I went with a breaded chicken sandwich on a roll. It turned out pretty dry. The chicken was good on its own, but the roll was toasted into a brick and the ingredients needed a lot of ranch to make it tasteful. In a funny twist, the sandwich was so dry that it was an ideal leftover to microwave later and soften it up without it being mushy.
Good food for a kosher restaurant. The place is too loud and they call the numbers of your order in a very low volume. They need a pager or a screen to show the #s. It is sooo uncomfortable and annoying to hear your number while there are 40 people talking in that place!!
Uber eats . Chicken wraps were just ok. Dr Sandwich is way better for them. Didn't try anything else
My husband and I stopped by while in the area to try this place. "A place called Burger Bar that specializes in burgers must be something to try," is what I thought however I was wrong. This place is nice and appears very clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food: I ordered a pastrami burger and fries. The burger patty was smaller than the bun it was served in. There were a few bits of chopped pastrami on top of the patty and the grilled onions could be counted one by one... I counted square pieces. My husband ordered a spicy lamb burger. The taste was average and he had the same complaint, the burger patty was smaller than the bun. The fries were very tasty and crispy. Very delicious! We ordered a small order of chicken wings with sweet chili sauce. Those were very tasty as well. We also ordered a chili dog. It was an all-beef hot dog. The chili was not to my liking. It had a very strong garlic taste and not much of anything else. The burgers and chili dog were both missing cheese. Unfortunately this place only has vegan cheese and it wasnt something I was willing to try. I disliked the fact that we didnt get an option to have non vegan cheese. This place offers Kosher food. I missed non vegan cheese, I missed having more pastrami flavor in my burger. I definitely disliked the fact that the burgers were very average and cost $11 each. I dont feel that the burgers were worth that much when the flavor and ingredients didnt warrant the cost. I dont recommend this place and I actually feel it was a wate of money.
Food is great but their hygiene isn't. I visited the store yesterday and noticed the food handlers touching the store phone and other dirty things only to immediately resume working on people's food, without washing hands or at the very least replacing their gloves. It was so natural for them; was without hesitation. I wonder what else they could be doing without caring for the health of their costumers.
The food was ok, but the fries were off and seemed to have been frozen and thawed a few times possibly. Not sure though. But they weren't right. Also, we went there on a Saturday night and it was pretty loud and crowded which is understandable. But their system of letting you know your order is ready just isn't good. Their speaker system sucked and was unintelligible. A sign with your order number would be a huge improvement.
Absolutely overpriced. Plus I didn't get the grilled onions or the grilled jalapeno on my lamb burger you go out of your way to advertise on your menu. The only good part of the experience were the 4 sauces they allow you to have with your order free of charge...for now
The food was very good, but do you want to eat among barking dogs? I sure don't. One family left and waited outside for their unleashed dog to make his confused way out to them. And no, these were not service dogs; these were pets.
Wildly popular on a Saturday night with the local crowd looking for a friendly, (noisy) Kosher experience, but the food and experience for us was less than enjoyable. We were there desperate for food after a day of travel. Ordering from the unpleasant woman at the counter was a charming experience and picking up our "to go" order from the window at the kitchen proved to be as difficult for us as many others. No one except experienced locals could hear or understand the distorted gibberish yelled through the pickup window. People were struggling to hear names being called and going through bags to try to figure out what was in them. Entertainment at its finest. I had a crispy chicken sandwich which was large, but bland (really bland) and mostly forgettable. My wife had sloppy tacos and wasn't provided with a fork so it was difficult to eat. Clearly a place the local crowd loves but I'd never go back for the food.
Is it too much that ask for seasoned food? Ice for your drink? To be greeted as you walk into the restaurant? When my friend and I walked into the restaurant, the cashier at the front was having a discussion with a coworker - they did not break the conversation to greet us. Eventually they took our order but the cashier was not very friendly and we did not feel welcomed. I got the L.A. Burger and it was horribly UNDER SEASONED. These beef patties, onions and mushrooms have never met a single crystal of salt or dash of pepper in their lives. And to top it off, my burger was COLD. The BBQ wings were decent; nothing to sing about. So what do you do now? You've lost your burger to winter (for all your GOT fans), so you put all your hope on their large array of sauces for relief ... only to find that they're ALL WATERED DOWN and FLAVORLESS. Their thousand island sauce was 999 island short of being a good sauce. Then we headed to the fountain drinks to try and wash down this waste of calories, only to find that the ice machine has NO ICE. Perhaps they used all the ice to cool down my burger. Two stars due to very overpriced ($15 for just the burger) bland food, poor customer service and no ice. The only friendly encounter we had in this establishment was from the fly that kept nicely and persistently trying to eat our food.
The food is whatever and the service is not good. Many times I've been here and they always forget to make my order. I ask where is the food and they said they are making it after 30 minutes. Many times it wasn't even busy. You have 8 workers there. Everyone's food should be out in 15 mins or less. I know restaurants with 4 workers servicing more than you.
The BBQ/buffalo chicken fingers are RANCID. Not spicy, just RANCID, I nearly threw up having a bite of it. Not sure if the sauce was expired or what. I asked to replace it with normal chicken fingers and they wanted me to pay the full price again. It’s too bad, their cobb salad is not bad, but I will never be going there again after that experience.
Absurdly overpriced. Their cheapest burger, fries, and a fountain drink was over $24. Nothing was good about the burger and the fries were super mid. Fountain drink was flat too.
Just because it's kosher don't waist your money hear. There are lots of other options better than hear. They don't care for customers at all .
Unfortunately this place has no respect to their 20 years customers . The owner does not even bother to talk to me to resolve the issue . I’m so sorry for being a long customer but not any more. They don’t even deserve a star.food quality gone bad too. They expect you to have a salad without dressing!!! Awful
Ordered at 10:30 over the phone, they told me the order would be ready in 20-30 minutes. Came in at 11, they told me it would take 15 more minutes. Checked again at 11:25, they said 10 more minutes. I never ended up getting my order. Would not recommend.
While they do have a GF buns, the burger itself was bland with barely any flavor. For a $13.50 burger in LA I would expect it to taste like something edible. You're better off going to any fast food joint over this place. Also, tables are not wiped down and the place looks like a messy disaster.
Don’t ever ever eat at this restaurant. There food makes me sick and so did my family. I felt like throwing up right after I ate there food. It might look or taste good but it makes you sick. Please if you care about your health don’t eat at this place. There is so many more restaurants in this town that serve much better and healthier food
The food is above average. The crew are nice except some of the cashiers who are somewhat rude. Generally, the customers are also rude even the adults. Still a good kosher place for los Angeles.
This restaurant is absolutely disgusting. I got the sweet chili chicken fingers and they smelled like dog food or should I say dog poop. Please if you care about your health do not eat at this place. Also when we talked to the manager he did not even apologize and talked back rudely that there something wrong with us and not there food.
I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, the meal was disappointing from start to finish. The burgers were thin and overcooked, completely lacking flavor or juiciness. Others in my party ordered a salad, which arrived undressed, with wilted lettuce that looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The wings looked decent, but taste-wise, they were nothing special. The fries were just okay, and the onion rings were overdone. On top of that, parking is nearly impossible to find, which just adds to the frustration. One particularly surprising aspect was that we were required to bus our own table—something I wouldn’t normally mind, but given the cost of the food, it felt a bit off-putting. To make matters worse, there were people hovering around our table, clearly waiting for us to finish, which made for a rather unappealing dining experience. Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
If you are a delivery driver, don’t even bother accepting an order from here. They don’t confirm them so you end up wasting your time and gas, because other drivers steal them. It’s unfortunate for the customer, the restaurant and the driver.
Do not pat till they explain what you ordered. They charge you for what you didn't ordered and allow once you ask them to take the order out ,they refused and they will tell you we don't loos money you should take the item even it's there mistake. Absolutely waist money to go to this location. Unfortunately, once you have to eat kosher, they try to rub you just because they are not too many choices out there. This is not acceptable, and I won't make this people reacher by rubbing others.
I wished the was zero star to give this place for the manner and attitude of the staff. Specially the Julie that takes food orders and the Maneger Sam. I was on the way to LA burger bar I called and I wanted to place a large order for 6 people so I don't have to wait so long and I called and from the moment she answered the phone she spoke with the attitude. I started placing the order when I asked about side orders that comes with the wings she told me don’t have onion rings, she mentioned the other sides that I could order and I asked her to repeat because I couldn’t understand what she was saying so with the attitude she repeats them the same way, I ordered French fries and I continued placing the order and I forgot that she told me they don’t have onion rings so at the end of the order I asked for side of onion rings and she in a very nasty attitude said I ALREADY TOLD YOU WE DON'T HAVE ONION RINGS then I asked for her name she says I don’t have to tell you I told her let me speak with the manager, she said the manager is busy I told her again I need to speak with the manager she says I have to put you on hold after putting me on hold for a about 5 minutes she responds manager is busy in the kitchen I told her this is important the manager needs to handle the situation she still refused and she asked me for a credit card and when I told her I need your name to give you my credit card information she still refused by this time I already reached LA Burger bar. and I started recording and when she realized I was recording and asking her name she told me her name her name is JULIE when I asked I want to speak with the manager she still refused and when I started in a loud voice asking for manager, The manager Sam was hiding in the kitchen and since he realize I am recording even though he came to the front he was just standing there and not saying anything. this was the worst treatment from staff of a restaurant in my life.
This used to be a great place to eat, but the last 3 times I’ve eaten there, the lie meats (especially chicken) smelled like it was spoiled. I’m not sure if it’s under new management/ownership, but the quality of their meat has gone down. The last time I ate their I was nauseated for a day after. I’ve seen other recent reviews state the same thing. I really hope the owner reads these reviews and quickly resolved the issue before someone becomes seriously ill and complains to the health department and closes the place. I travel to LA for work a lot, and I used to look forward to coming there for great food. What a shame...
Go across the street to Corridor 18. Better food and way better service. You’re Welcome
As a faithful Jew, I am extremely upset. I thought the whole point of being kosher is to ensure the quality and holiness of the meat. Almost every single chicken wing was deformed and didn’t even look like chicken. I used to eat here all the time, this is my last time ever getting food from here. Absolutely ruined my night and I’m starting to question why I’m kosher if all the kosher food in Los Angeles is absolute garbage.
