Food was great as always, came in to town for a few days. I had to get a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries.
Pennys is literally the best burger and fries you could get. The fries are perfectly crunchy and soft in the middle and they put a lil Cajun seasonings but not too much. And the burgers are just bomb like the best little burger stand burger ever. I always get the avocado burger and they’re generous with the avocado too
Always fresh and great food. My go-to is cheeseburger and chilli cheese fries. Their fries are what old diner fries used to be. Crispy and just the right amount of seasoning. Tastes good even when they are a day old.
We got the guacamole bacon burger, chicken sandwich and double cheese burger; my goodness all of them were so good. Everyone loved their burger. The fries were crispy till the last one. Yummy.
When I was there on me holidays, I popt in for some dinner. I had 2 hot dogs and chips, as Bernard Mathew's would say" bootiful realy bootiful".( poor old Bernard he fell in his mincing machine) definatly going there again ten out of 10👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome little local place in Highland Park. I’m sure every town have one of these.... but this is mine in my area. Been coming here for years. Consistent breakfast, occasionally dinners. In store service, and unbeatable fares.
I would always drive by this place and decided to finally try it out and was so glad I did. I had a cheeseburger and it was so delicious and big. They give alot of french fries too. Definitely my new go to spot for a burger and fries.
I love this place mostly cause Penny's last name is treashion.
New to Highland Park. Pennys burgers sre amazing, French fries are the best. Definitely will be my to go to for burgers and fries. Service and staff very friendly. Thank you for a great experience Xo
Was around the corner and wanted a quick breakfast I could take to work, cant be late. Stopped in ordered a breakfast burrito for me and a co worker. The burrito was made super fast and when I got to work and took a bite I was so glad I stopped here! Yummmm thanks hard fast working crew at Penny's. I wish I lived closer to stop here more often. If you guys are near by I recommend a quick stop. They have seats inside and outside. Place was clean and there were friendly smiles from staff. Made me feel like they appreciated my visit. Now and days it's the friendly service that keeps customers coming back. Ofc it helps that their menu is huge and very affordable too. Good luck to you Penny's. Hope 2020 brings you big time fortune. Happy customer. 😁
Great burgers. Large menu. Friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Not sure why I never go here and now that I have I realize I have been missing out! I love the breakfast burrito and there works burrito was ticket and add an order of fries and you won't be getting hungry until dinner time. They give you ample fries, I had to force down the last few fries I was so full! The best part to the burrito was the bacon. Next time I am going to get just the bacon burrito. Not a lot of vegan or vegetarian options but my guess is the veggie burrito is good!
Penny's is the Bomb! I have been coming here for over 20 years. The mouth watering, delicious cheeseburgers have not changed a bit. Their menu has enough variety for all. The coffee here is smooth and tasty. Breakfast also five stars. Oh yum. . .
Penny’s Burgers has always been one of my favorites, been coming here for years. Food is very good and there is quite a variety. It is a must place to eat if you come to highland park! Very clear environment, inside and out. Great customer service, friendly staff. Try their chili cheese fries! 🔥
1st timer...Ordered the french toast breakfast. It was yummy. Only thing I'd change is putting 4 - 1/2 slices of toast instead of 3. It was just crispy enough to hold the syrup, eggs over easy no runny stuff and sausage was hot. 5 thumbs up!!!!
This place is great and the prices are kinda unbelievable. Veggie burgers are under $7. They only have one size of fries but I’ll say it’s large cause they hook it up. Food was delicious
The workers were so nice, one of those you know knows how to take care of your kind of feel. The food was good, I didn't have time to take pictures because I was too focused on eating it.
I can't believe it I haven't been to this place in years and it was amazing. I had the best pastrami sandwich I've had in years. We had also chili fries and chili burger from my husband and everything was just amazing we left so stuffed but yet satisfied. Highly recommend this place.
Love Penny's everything from here is awesome. Great burgers, fries, quesadillas, burritos, and grilled cheese. 100% recommend eating here. The staff is so awesome too.
Super tasty, fresh, real, and so inexpensive. Very friendly staff. Inside seating is clean and air conditioned. Loved the huevos rancheros with beans and rice. Eggs are treated with gentle respect and everything from scratch not a jar. Go!!
Great food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and clean facility. My favorite item of the entire menu is "The Works Burrito" but if meat isn't your thing they also have vegetarian options.
Calm clean nice place to get a burger and the staff is very sweet as well as the burgers are delicious and not bad at all price wise we dined in and yes might take awhile but its because there busy and honestly worth the while it was our first time going and we didn't expect much since we were just hungry but they were good burgers and pretty good size meals overall we were very satisfied with our whole experience!
Penny's Burgers has been a beloved staple in Highland Park since 1969, and it's easy to see why this charming diner has maintained its popularity for over five decades. From the moment you step into this nostalgic eatery, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly embodies the spirit of classic American diners. The menu at Penny's Burgers is a delightful throwback to simpler times, offering a fantastic array of old-fashioned diner food, mouthwatering burgers, and hearty breakfasts that cater to all tastes. Whether you're in the mood for a juicy, perfectly cooked burger or a comforting plate of pancakes and eggs, Penny's delivers with consistent quality and flavor. One of the standout features of Penny's is its affordability. In a city where dining out can often break the bank, this spot offers great food at prices that won't hurt your wallet. The portions are generous, ensuring you leave fully satisfied and with a smile on your face. The no-frills, counter-serve setup adds to the charm, making it an ideal spot for a quick, delicious meal. And if you prefer dining al fresco, the patio provides a lovely option to enjoy your meal outdoors. Penny's Burgers isn't just a place to eat; it's a piece of Highland Park's history, a testament to the enduring appeal of good food, friendly service, and a welcoming environment. If you're in Los Angeles and looking for a taste of timeless diner fare, Penny's Burgers is a must-visit. Five stars, without a doubt!
Penny’s is AWESOME! Drive up from the airport just to go here. The breakfast burritos rock! And the service is fast and friendly. AND the place is incredibly clean - kitchen, dining area and bathrooms. Great job to everyone and Carla is an amazing leading the team!
I recently had the pleasure of trying the hamburger at Penny's and was blown away by the quality of the meat and the delicious toppings. The bun was perfectly toasted and held everything together nicely. The fries were also crispy and seasoned perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this burger joint to anyone in the area looking for a satisfying meal.
Very clean inside this was my first time here and their burger's 🍔 are ginormous!! I ordered the cheese burger, avocado, bacon well-done. It's was cooked to perfection 🤤 I had a side of French fries and that was served in a ginormous portion as well. At first I thought they were a bit pricey BUT you definitely get your monies Worth 😍!! I highly recommend this place
Stopped by for lunch during work as I always noticed this place was busy whenever I would pass by and they didn't disappoint. The bacon cheeseburger I had was cooked fresh to order and tasted amazing. The seasoned fries on the side were great also. On top of all that the staff is very friendly. I will def be back to try other menu items!
Great place, super fast and consistent, good prices too. There is a new vegetarian menu but the items ring up oddly. I'm still putting 5 stars because I eat here 1 to 3 times a week and want to give a good review, but the veggies items need to be updated in the POS so that they ring up correctly.
Burger combos are definately worth it when you have a crave of a good burger
Pastrami sandwich is my favorite.Never disappointed with fries and dr. Pepper is the best meal when in hurry.
I'm never in LA, let alone this part but I will definitely be back for Penny's! The chilaquiles verdes were so good, very flavorful salsa, and the beans and rice were delicious. We also got the avocado cheeseburger and fries, fries had great texture and the burger was a great size.
After visiting my mom at the Montecito Heights Healthcare and wellness center for couple hours I was very hungry and trybto think were to eat. I decided to go to Penny's Burgers in Highland Park not far from the center. It too me couple of minutes traveling on Figueroa Ave to the corner of York blvd where Penny's Burgers. I park in the shopping center where the 99 center and Big 5 located. When I arrive there it already lunch time and the lunch crowded comes in for lunch. I look at menu display they very good selection Burgers combo,Sandwich, pastrami and Mexican meals and also breakfast. Then I decided to get a club sandwich combo comes with fries and soda and choice of bread I got it wheat bread.
The employees are very sweet and you can tell they take pride in their service.
The ladies taking your order are super sweet, burger is a 10/10.
Got a double cheese burger combo all i can say is Amazing! Love the food and they have other varies of food and breakfast
Appears to be under new management and now has the best cheeseburger in Highland Park
The absolute best hot dog I have ever had and it came with mustard, which I can't stand, but it was perfect with the other condiments. Thank you!
It was Udder chaos in the streets with people having a great time. Lots of love in the air, super patriotic vibe. Penny's was the place to be!
It's a little fast food place that's been around. It seems forever. Great. Pastrami sandwiches, burgers, fries, etc.
Great place to come and grab a bite to eat. I ordered a pastrami cheeseburger combo (#12) And it was huge! They also served a large amount of fries. I believe it was totally worth it. Would definitely like to return and try some other foods on their large menu. They have lots to choose from!
Found the pot of gold in my neighborhood. Sad I didn't know about this place earlier. Going to bring my friends and make this place our regular. Food is excellent. Just spot on. They were quick with my order. And they wide variety of food to choose from on their menu. They also have old timey interior as well as a patio you could eat at. Can't go wrong with Penny's.i would highly recommend going here. Perfect spot for anyone having the drunchies. Just go here and check it out for yourself.
Great burgers, freshly made, but the place is Hispanic-culturally geared, and a non-Hispanic person can feel a bit marginalized and out of place, although staff are pleasant and patient, and the music was great, 1950s and '60s rock and roll. The woman, taking and bringing orders, never smiles, and she put her hands around the drinking rim of my water cup. I also asked for no ice, twice, and got ice, twice, i.e., even in the replacement cup. Something gotta be wrong, there. But their burgers and fries are delicious, non-greasy and CHEAP
Customer service was okay. Lady was prioritizing phone orders, not sure if thats standard for them. There was no one else besides me when I got there so I thought customer thats in person would get prioritized but might not be the case with them. Food was overall okay. I saw some other reviews claiming that the food was really good blah blah blah. I thought it was mediocre at best. I went in to try a burger. Ordered a bacon, avocado, and cheese. The taste was lacking. Burger contains fundamental ingredients but no dressing on it. If you don't like burgers with dressing such as thousand island you'll probably enjoy it, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. On the plus side, I was able to order a chile Asado on the side. They were moderately spicy. Coming from someone who loves spicy things. Its not obvious that you can order the item, but if you ask they'll charge a dollar per chile.
Good, cheap, heart attack food. Their combo meals can easily feed two people - their burgers are huge and they give you enough fries for 2-3 people. Afraid of gaining weight if I come here too often.
Good bacon cheeseburgers. Patty is a little thin. Prices reasonable. Here's the problem: they charge a dollar to wrap a burger with lettuce instead of a bun. That makes a single-patty bcb almost eight bucks! It's discrimination against keto people like me. Racism! Other than that, pretty good. The people are all very nice. Recommended.
I have always been a huge fan of Penny's. Since the 90s, when I would come with my mom and my kids. Great food. Too bad the prices went way up. But, still good food.
Remember coming here 15+ years ago so decided to try it out again. They have their order window outside which isn't bad unless you're waiting for your food on a cold winter night. Food is good, I think i remember the burgers being bigger but i was also much smaller then.. expect to pay an easy $10-$15 per person. Will be back to try different items.
Update: 3/17/2021 Originally my review criticized the customer service and how much it needed work on. It's been more than a few months and I'm happy to say that's it's improved a lot since then. The food is as good as ever! Try the asada fries with extra guacamole and sour cream!
Grew up with Penny's on York and Fig since I was a kids. Always a good spot to eat. New owners and still same great taste.price it's okay. Stop by and try it. It's a long demanding local spot to go to.
This is a super cute small business burger joint that I thoroughly enjoyed. Great prices - my double burger and fries were $8.50. The double burger was huge. It was a bit dry, not enough sauce. Compared to in n out, Penny’s burgers didn’t have as much flavor and juice. But i put ketchup on every bite to solve that. The fries were awesome. Thicker cut, had a nice crust on the outside and soft on the inside. Huge serving too. Larger servings than usual. Really cute vibe. Lots of seating inside and out. I was happy to support this local burger joint and would return and recommend. Their chilaquiles also look delicious.
It's a fast food joint! A bit pricey fpr what you're getting. That said, they're more than willing to modify your orders & do more for a customer than many places these days.
I've been eating the food here for years and its really good. I like the employees here they are helpful. The location is easy to find from the street and not as all difficult to locate. I do recommend this location to everyone. Stop by to check it out for yourself. Enjoy.
I! Am not sure if the food here is...legal! The,breakfast is good and affordable. I really like the eggs and toast! Now! Let's get to the...Steak Sandwich Combo. I, liked it! If I can make a recommendation? Season the steak in a marinade for 3 day's,so it will be tender! It did not melt like...butter,in my mouth! Other than that it was a wonderful experience!!!!
Went by upon closing so we were unable to sit inside, so, we had to take our food back to our Air BnB which was 15 minutes away but nonetheless the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was worth the wait.
This is the 3rd time in a couple of months that i've been to Penny's. The food is fantastic, however... not once has my order been right. Got a Bacon Burger... and it came without the bacon. Ordered a burger with no cheese last time, and it only had cheese. It's kinda ridiculous, but also kinda funny. Luckily the food is good, and worth the hassle.
Steak sandwiches are good. Fries are average, but good. Location is clean, lots of dedicated parking, staff are friendly and prepare your food quickly. Counter, entrance, seating and restroom are all accessible. If you've got a lunch date, this is a nice burger joint to come to and have a burger and split some fries. Come here and you can get in and out with the time you've got.
One of those neighborhood hamburger joints to go to for a good burger and fries. The menu has just about anything you want and more. Breakfest burritos are the bomb. The Avacado Bacon Burger, Taco and Orange Bang drink is pretty good. This place has been around for a while. It has not change through my years growin up to include my parents growing up around here. Normally get take out. Highly recommend.
Had my first Penny's experience. The staff is very friendly and the dish I had, the green chilaquilles with eggs over easy and it was pretty good! They even add avocado. They could go lighter on the sauce as it drowns the chips. Curious to try their red version. However, this isn't a gourmet place, It's a diner set up. So, are two eggs with chips plus salsa with rice and beans worth 15 dollars? Probably not, but that is the world we live in.
This place has been going downhill in customer service since change of ownership. Thousand island is now $0.60 which I don't mind paying, except I either don't get it or If I bought multiples I only get one. I tried asking for the others I ordered was told by the lady that she would be right with me and she never gave them to me waited like an extra 15 min after she gave me my food. Instead I just asked for my money back from the thousand Island I had payed for but never received. overall food is still good.
First time here ordered the pastrami burger with fries. The burger was cool nothing life changing, thin Pattie, medium done pastrami. Fries (smh) was hard and not seasoned(probably uncommon) . I was expecting some soft thick fries with a combination salt.
My first time here and I tried the works breakfast burrito, they over cook everything on the griddle. Everything in my burrito tasted like jerky because it was over cooked. I believe if it wasnt over cooked it would be a great breakfast burrito
Its fine. Real wet dense burger. Probably eat it there or it'll be a mush fest. Fries are thick boys but decent. Onion rings are super cronch but flavorless without dip. Will go back to check out the rest of the menu 🤷🏼♂️
Service is super slow! I was charged for items I ordered but wasn't on my sandwich nor in my bag. I didn't bother to address the issue because I had already been there 43mins on a call in order. Tuna melt was okay and Carne asada taco was pretty good.
The pastrami burger is legit but the carne asada tacos are a bit lacking
To me, the food is good, but their customer service is on the way down. Just had a bad experience. The lady at the register was rude, I told her what I ordered the works burrito and said no bacon she was adamant on the bacon. I said im allergic to pork. So, I ended up leaving, going else to eat. If the customer service is going to be like this. I will not be returning. Sorry, I'm speaking the truth
The food is good, but lacks on seasoning. The fries are super good 👌🏻 but the burger meat was a bit cold and had no flavor 😕. Now as for the dine in experience, well that's another story place is dirty regardless if the staff wipes the tables down the window frames had a trail of ants and flying bugs. Not the cleanest spot to eat at when having kids. 💁🏻♀️
I’m a local neighbor. Have come to this location dozens of times. Food is very good. Service and wait times are miserable. The overall experience is slow and inconsistent. They only have one point of sale with is constantly being interrupted by phone orders. Those same large phone orders extend cook and service times to get food out. On several occasions between ordering and my food being ready took 30-45 minutes.
The food was okay. I had the pastrami sandwich, which I found was a standard no frills sandwich. The burgers are the one thing that sets this place apart. My sons had cheeseburgers. One had pastrami on it, my son l Ioved it. The chicken burrito was okay. It was better than the pastrami sandwich.
The hamburger was enjoyable with a good meat-to-bun ratio and appropriately balanced dressing, neither overpowering nor overwhelming. The toasty bun complemented it well. However, the French fries seemed a bit old, giving off the impression that they'd been sitting around for a while. The service was quick and friendly, but one aspect that slightly bothers me is when I order a burger special and get asked if I want cheese. It sparks an internal debate for me – doesn't adding cheese make it a cheeseburger combo? It affects my enjoyment of the meal, although I understand they might have their reasons, perhaps for upselling or due to customers often ordering a hamburger but actually wanting a cheeseburger. Nonetheless, it slightly hinders my overall burger experience.
The people are nice, but a bit clueless. My order was being taken when all of a sudden the cashier started talking to another customer. She did not excuse herself and began taking that customer's order. When she was done, she returned to completing my order. Weird! When I received my food (pastrami burger), my pastrami wasn't fully cooked. It was served cold. I have ordered food here in the past. It's always a 50/50 chance of getting consistent good food, but not always 100% terrible. There's room for a lot of improvement since you get what you see, yet somehow enough to return for more. It's an absolutely convenient location.
This is a good place to get burgers and fries. I do want to mention one thing, the fries used to be seasoned differently as they are now just seasoned with salt, which is disappointing to me. As for the other food on the menu, I would say tread lightly. I recently went and got a crispy chicken sandwich combo and was very disappointed. There was more bun and lettuce than there was patty. The cheese was bigger than the patty. I expected better for the price. I did order chicken strips and one chicken strip is bigger or the same size as the chicken patty. It would've been better if they put the 3 chicken strips in place of the chicken patty. I don't know if I'd come here to order anything else other than a burger and fries after this experience. I added a pics of my order.
Ive been living here in highland park for over 40 years and I only been here a hand full of times I was there on Sunday morning it was kind of packed two people a head of me so when it was my turn the girl that was gonna take my order had me waiting for a bit she saw me she knew I was there she was quick to attend to the driver's picking up food it should be equal and not just here every where
Was there Sunday Father's day 2023 was looking forward to a good lunch.I ordered pancakes plate, coffee, and club sandwich combo. Prices sky rocket over $30 food was okay. Dinning area really dirty. I asked one of the ladies politely (while she was cleaning trash can in dinning area) if she can wipe down our table. She promptly sprayed the table and Used The SAME Towel Same Side to wipe our table Gross! I told her in Spanish, "You used the same towel wiping the top of trash can to wipe our table!!" She responded back,"it wasn't the trash! It was the top of the trash" Duh! The same thing I said. Wow! ! Asked her to borrow the spray and paper towels to wipe it my self. No this was very unprofessional. The working crew Needs Serve Safe certification need training in all area. The city of Health Department should check them out.
Ordered a bacon avacado cheeseburger Togo and was excited to try. Once I got home ( 20 min drive), I unwrapped my burger and found no avacado. So not cool! Make sure you check your order before you leave.
Food’s fine but they will mess up your delivery order 100% of the time if you don’t call them and walk them through each part of your order. If you order 2 breakfast burritos and add avocado and bacon you’ll get one regular one and one with the extra even though you paid for the extras for both. Order 2 fries with ranch and they’ll send you 1 ranch even though you paid for ranch for both orders of fries. When you call to make sure they give you what you paid for they’ll try to say you only paid for 1 of the extras until you walk them through the whole thing and then they’ll get it. Might seem like it’s not a big deal, but it’s annoying enough for me to not order from here anymore.
Ordered two burgers and onion rings. I asked for one of the burgers with extra onions. I arrived home and one of them was marked "extra onions" but to my surprise it had no onion. I checked my husband's burger and it had no onion either. To top it off, the onion rings tasted stale. I ended up tossing half of the burger as I can't stand a burger without onion. I love onions. Suffice it to say, I will not eat here again.
The pricing of their food is going up way too high. Today i came in to get breakfast, ive always bought breakfast and always get 4 extra sausage links and 4 extra bacon strips for my kids so we share a meal and today i was so disappointed in the massive price increase. They sold me only 2 sausage links for $2.75! Not that long ago it was possible to get 4 sausage links at that price. For the price of almost $3.00 you can actually buy 8 sausage links at the grocery store and just cook them your self vs geting only 2 meager sausage links. This made me not want to return to Penny's. The owners are getting too greedy with less food and charging even more for the meal which if you live paycheck to paycheck, and dont make $18.00 or $20.00 an hour, it will make it much harder for most people in the Highland Park area to dine here. I truly am disappointed, they just made me want to start cooking at home which i usually like to take a break from that at least once a week but looks like due to their massive price increase, its best for me to cook at home and save more on food.
Had the worst service ever. Not only did I order over $40 worth if food but they took for ever to make it. Everyone at least 5 orders that were behind me got made and I was watching then pass my ticket. Once there were no customers waiting the cashier finally said were making your food well I told her why did it take so long? Her answer was she was making the orders as they come in. Well I said it's not true because everyone behind me got their food. She wasn't friendly. Fries are cold. Food was bland and the service most of all is the worst. You just lost a 15yr+ customer!!
Shocking they have an "A" rating! We chose to leave AFTER we ordered our food outside because all the tables inside were dirty. They have a "No Pets Allowed" sign on the door but the crumbs and stains left on the tables and floors says differently. I ordered Chilli Fries but they looked like dog diarrhea. So I chose not to taste the chilli instead I dug around my plate for plain fries. The fries were oily, dry, had no flavor but did have a bright orange color. Not worth the money I paid and I won't ever be returning.
Talk about "Price Gauging!!!" $17 for a steak sandwich! And it wasn't even that good! How is it possible to justify this price? I know what beef costs at the market and it's way beyond "inflation". Just a greedy S.O.B. taking advantage of the poor people of Highland Park. I will NEVER buy food there again.
I grew up across from this restaurant in my entire life I have slowly seen it and Decay to what it is now the food is absolutely horrible I stopped eating hamburgers here a long time ago and today this morning December 31st I had the very worst breakfast burrito of my life a little bit of advice to all of you people and newcomers try Mando's up the street. Penny's has lost my business where they can't even make scrambled eggs ham and hashbrown and put it inside of a tortilla correctly and the food tastes like they never clean the grills
Took them 35 minutes for a simple order. No reason or explanation as to why. I love supporting local businesses and Penny's has been my spot for years and years but after 2 disappointing visits in a row I think it's safe to say that they are not what they used to be and they don't seem to care. It happened in line with the gentrification so maybe they think that now since HLP is so popular and such that they dont need to try as hard? Idk but def not worth it. Just go to Troy's on York.
Today is May 15th,2024 and I recently ordered a pastrami combo and I asked them to grill my pastrami and it's no where near grilled, not to mention everything is on the wrapper and not in between the bread, I will never order their pastrami combo again, you might even lost me as a customer,my pastrami doesn't taste like it's been cooked at all, fire everybody or do better with food preparation plus they gave my fiance a pork chop dinner with a hard hot dog bun and at this point I just wanted my money back for bad service and food preparation
I have been coming here for years especially their breakfast burritos but the last two times I have come to eat it has been horrible. They changed the cheese they use and their green salsa must be out of a bottle now. It use to be made their now it is horrible and black pepper infused. I know their is new management and it has gone down hill. I hope they go back to the homemade flavor and give up the cheap replacements.
I had been going to Penny's since it opened. There used to be a gas station at that location decades ago. A couple of years ago I stopped going because tha cashier intentionally slipped me a counterfeit $10 bill. I left my information with assurance that I would be reimbursed after notifying the owner. Never was contacted. Well I made the mistake of going back today for my daughter who wanted a hamburger from Penny's. Well what I got today besides a hamburger was a pubic hair embedded in my zucchini fries order. Needless to say I will never go back again.
I have been a loyal customer of Penny's for 12 years. Lucina working the register today is very rude - I received my order and noticed the fries were not fresh - I asked for a fresh order and they said no. They prefer to lose a customer over a $5.00 order of fries. Quality of this place has really gone down hill. Going elsewhere in the future.
First and last time coming to this restaurant...bought French toast drove back to work and no butter or syrup 😫 im like really! So I call to remind them that putting syrup and butter in their customers pancake, French toast or waffle orders is mandatory! Called once and put on hold for 5 minutes, called again and placed on hold for another 5 minutes ....so I call again and a woman answers and tells me the manager is not there ...pretty much got blown off and a eye roll....not a happy customer....I threw my plate away..very disappointed in the staff at this restaurant...the reply was we are short staffed and I don’t know what you want me to do...put butter and syrup in the bag, thats what I want you to do! Arggh!
