Visiting from out of town for my sister's graduation on a Friday night. Place was packed, and we had a large order (6 people, 9 drinks) yet the food was hot and delicious, and all the staff were super friendly and chill, espwcially our server Benji. The manager (Erin, forgot her last name) was also personable and chatted with us about the TV she was changing the sport chanel on.

We had a great time eating at this chili's Tina Lee was our waitress and her positive upbeat attitude had us feeling the joy. the food was also on point she was an amazing waitress we loved it.

The food was great and affordable, family of 3 ate for about $75 including dessert. I thought it was a pretty good deal overall. Our server was polite and attentive and the atmosphere around was pleasant.

We had an awesome dinner experience at Chili’s! Our server Isabel was the best. She was so inviting and informative about any questions we had regarding the menu. She made sure our drinks and chips were fresh, and checked on us throughout the meal to meet any needs. Our food was brought out in a timely manner, and everything was fresh, hot, and tasty! Quick, clean, and delicious. Awesome experience overall.

Our server Netty was an incredible hostess. She was professional and timely as well as incredibly kind and attentive. Our food was delicious and very tasty. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is awesome and fulfills their role amazingly. We came here for my birthday and they sang to us and brought an ice cream sundae, which was so sweet. Overall the rating from me is a solid 5/5, thank you to all the staff from my family to y'alls!

I would have to say if u eat here, you need to ask for Tina. She is exceptional. 100% dedicated to taking care of her customers. She has a quality about caring that you don’t see so much in the restaurant business anymore. You will definitely get your moneys worth eating here.

I usually love this location, I come here all the time. Vance is my usual server and he is always great. However this time I went for my best friends birthday and not only was the chicken sandwich different and I had no way of knowing but I no longer wanted it (because it was completely different and tasted quite awful) but when they brought me a replacement they still made me pay for the stupid sandwich and I had only taken one bite out of it. I am very upset. Vance did amazing and the manager did everything she could but I'm just a bit irritated that I still had to pay for something I didn't eat.

We stopped in for supper last night. It was pretty crowded when we arrived so it took a while to place our order. But when we finally did, our food was out pretty quickly. And everything looked and tasted good. The prices were good, and our server was attentive. And friendly. He was the only one working in our area and every table was full. He was really hustling to take care of everyone. In my opinion, he was at a disadvantage and they should have had another server on duty. We enjoyed the food. We even took cheesecake home and it was sooo good. We will certainly go again. Just not during peak hours.

Kennady was very welcoming as soon as I walked in! I wasn’t too sure what to order with all their menu options but she helped me navigate to the 3 for me option (I came in for lunch). I had a Crispy Chicken sandwich and a salad. She made it even better when suggested Swiss Cheese on it would be perfect (great btw). Chili’s has a good one behind the bar! Can’t wait to be back with friends!

It took some time to get seated, even with using the online check-in. Once at our table, the service was great. We were checked on frequently for refills and kept up to date on our food status. The food was great, and overall, 2 see had a great experience.

My family and I had an enjoyable meal. Food tasted good well cooked. Staff was nice. Place was clean and didn't have much of a wait.

I am a regular for this particular Chili's and Vance is my regular server and he is amazing as always and I came for my birthday but not only did they not have the secret sauce burger that I absolutely love the service assistant mixed me and my friends burger when they came out nearly an hour after we ordered them my best friends chicken sandwich came out different then what we normally get and then when the manager came out she was very dismissive of our concerns and frustrations about the meal then proceeded to only give us a plain remake of the chicken sandwich and made us pay for it. I probably only will come back for the drinks and Vance but being this heavily disappointed with the food and disrespect from management I will not be ordering outside of appetizers

It's been a while since I've been in Chili's. I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the chicken salad. The was really good. I and service was great. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The only complaint I had was tat they were at 50%, but that was not really their fault due to staffing issues. I get it. Tech is out and probably a lot of the staff left back home. Over all a good dinner just to get out of the house.

Wait time wasn't bad. Service was great and just overall patient and polite. The atmosphere was nice too even with the place being crowded. The food was okay. Chips and salsa is always a must. My meal was just greasy, but I feel like it could be a great meal. Drinks were great. I'm hoping with the place being crowded, that the food just didn't have enough attention but otherwise it's a great place to eat at.

Ambiance is good, but its too busy and super noisy. We visited over the weekend with family. People serving there are welcoming and happy, understand the requirements and change the menu accordingly if needed.

Haven’t been to Chilis in a while however I was out and about flower shopping with my aunt the other day and we stopped in for a quick bite at her suggestion. Staff was amazing, service was quick and best part was we left full and happy for only $25!! These days thats rare. Don’t be sleeping on Chilis if you’re looking for good food, quick service and all at a price that is absolutely affordable. Thank you Chilis for not price gouging everyone like most companies are right now!

My wife and I recently visited Chili’s, and while we love this restaurant, our experience started off a bit rough. We noticed a lot of staff standing around while customers were waiting for tables, which was frustrating. Instead of waiting, we opted to sit in the bar area, but the tables were dirty. It wasn’t until we asked for a rag to clean it ourselves that someone finally came over to wipe it down. However, once our waitress arrived, everything turned around. She was attentive, checked on us regularly, and made sure our drinks were always filled. Her great service definitely made up for the rocky start. Overall, while the beginning was disappointing, the excellent service we received from our waitress helped turn things around. Hopefully, management can address the initial issues to make the experience smoother for all guests.

I am not sure if they were short staffed or just not hiring enough people to take care of their customers. Food was good, but would not go again if they have a full building. I usually don't mind waiting to be seated, however when customer service is affected, then I will go to another establishment.

We came during the COVID craze during lunchtime. We waited 20 minutes to be seated which, given the circumstances, seems fair to me. We were immediately attended by our waitress and within 15 minutes, our food was at our table. I feel that the waitress could have been a tad bit more attentive, but I realize that restaurants have had staffing issues so it wasn’t a problem. As for the food, it was very good overall! There was a long wait, the table that supposedly been cleaned was sticky. We ordered chips and salsa with queso, which took forever to get until we received after our main dish. There was no apology from anyone for the delay. 3 service came by and said would check on the order. The dish I ordered was nothing like on the menu. They were very tight with some of food. The very minimum, I felt ripped off for the price I paid. I like to get my money's worth. It will be another 2 years before I go back, maybe it may be too soon.

Unfortunately, I can't say much for than it was okay. We called beforehand and still ended up waiting 45 minutes for a table, our drinks stayed empty most of the time, and the food was good, but not great. I will say they had about 7 different birthdays while we were there, so maybe it's just that they were very busy, but I wasn't impressed enough to want to go back. I had the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas and they were very greasy. My husband had the bacon burger and he said it was just blah. My boys really liked the chicken tortilla soup though. Middle son was disappointed with his shrimp pasta. So it was just okay.

We went on a friday night, not terribly busy but loud nonetheless. Food was slow coming out, but was tasty. Big mouth burgers are just that...1/2 lb meat with toppings. I took half of that bad boy home. Unlimited chips/salsa..one my personal favorites. The main compliant I have is the menu, many choices are too spicy for me. This is becoming true of many restaurants though. I have GERD (reflux) and just a weinie when it comes to spicy hot food. Chilis is always a goos stand by, just not a frequent choice of ours

Cheese sticks were cold, and chicken crispers were salty and tuff to eat. Chili's need to go back to the original recipe for the crispers. Why change a good thing.

Host wasn't very helpful when we asked 3 times for a booth and all we got offered was normal tables even though I was able to see empty booths and pointed at it where there was people sitting on the next table, and the restaurant was about 35% capacity. Server wasn't attentive only got 1 refill of my water and it was towards the end when I was ready for my bill. I recommend the location on University over this one. Food presentation and taste was on point.

Came during dinner time and ordered our usual. Waitress brought our drinks and took our order. never came back to check on us after the appetizer which we never received. Finally our food came out. She made it back around to refill our drinks then said she would just take it off our tab. Sucks when you look forward to getting our favorite skillet queso.

Food is not great as we have known chili’s to be, service is slow , our largest complaint is every time we goin either Lubbock location they are nasty dirty, wood surfaces are never wiped except tables, windows have children’s food fingers all over and payment kiosks are not wiped thoroughly ever.

They were great at first - brought chips salsa. They about 11:30 we started having to ask for refills - then they took our order. We waited and waited and waited finally about 12:45 we asked again for refills (5 of us) three had water. Finally at 1:00 we asked if our order was ever coming out. Yes ma'am - we are short handed today. Ok that would have been nice to know during our wait. ( We have eaten here before and food is always good). But today was unacceptable. No communication to let us know about the wait. Mean while other tables were receiving their food. Nope not us. The to go orders were on fast forward and everyone hat came to pick up never waited at all. So we left after talking to the manager and team. We only had chips salsa and water and two drinks ice tea and Pepsi. So we left. The receptions came running out to make sure we paid. After a two hour wait for food, really that's what y'all were worried about. A good Manager should have came out and apologized and gave us coupons for next time. I don't see the irony in waiting 2 hours for food. Maybe y'all will have a better experience than what we had. Probably will not eat here ever again. Sad 2/22/23 - Take out service. They were extremely helpful. We ordered the quesadillas salad plus shoreline State with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Well a piece or two of broccoli....came in super small portions. Guess restaurants need to cut back somewhere. The quality of food and quantity of food would not be where I would come back. The place wasn't busy. It was clean and the waiter that took my order was very sweet.

We have been going to this Chili’s for 3 years now and at least 6 times per year. This is the first time the chips and salsa were sub par. The salsa was spicy, when we spoke to the server she said they are adding jalapeno to the mix. The chips are always warm, thin and crisp, well they are now store bought cheap tortilla flavorless chips. Please bring back the original chips and salsa!

Got the rib combo, they gave us 3 napkins 1 for each of the people at the table, the pigs must've been starved before because there was barely any meat on their either. Mashed potatoes not seasoned and couldn't even season it because there was no salt or pepper on the table. The corn was a mouthful of butter since it wasnt hot enough to melt. Everything was cold and lukewarm. The cheese sausage was gross because the food was cold so there was just cheese clups. I dont recommend eating there, very disappointed.

We went on a Tuesday evening. It wasn’t busy, but it took forever to get seated. Then they put us at a table that was too small for our group. The server was pleasant and friendly. The appetizers were good. Those were the only bright spots. My Caesar salad had the dressing on the side and was not good. We waited about 45 minutes for our food. Everything was slow! Our visit lasted an hour longer than it should have.

November 25th, my 48th birthday was one for the ages. Great company and extremely poor customer service. Lack of communication between Manager on duty, kitchen and our server. Several people in my party ordered steaks which our server didn't know they were out of until 15-20 minutes later. The server I believe attempted to cover it up by saying it was a glitch in the tablet he was using to take our order. I also ordered a beer 3 times in which the server thought I was "joking" and I actually never received it. The situation made absolutely no sense.. After discussing the matter with the manager on duty which didn't seem very managerial eventually gave us 50% of our bill which seemed sufficient. We have experienced bad customer service in other chilli's in different cities with basically the same result. Without a doubt we will never return to another chilli's ever again!

We had not eaten at chili's for sometime. We decided to go today. Not a good ideal. First my husband asked for the 1/2 rack of ribs. They had none, so he decided on the brisket quesadillas. What a joke. I wish now I had taken a picture of them .No brisket in them. I ordered the cajun pasta with chicken. So I shared my chicken with him so he would have some meat. I asked for some ice when the waiter finally came to the table. Never received the ice. He finally showed back up after we had finished and asked if we wanted more tea. This meal cost two people $65.00. We will not be back

Food was great 5 stars on that. The young lady serving us was not every good. She didn't check on us.I asked for a to go drink and she give it to me with drink all on the outside part. She didn't even take the time to clean it.

I ordered a 10 oz Ribeye well done half the steak was well done they took it to the back just to cut the pieces that I ate just to reheat the same steak which then became dry not flavor which still charged me for it

I was super disappointed with my recent visit to Chilis. I’ve been seeing everyone on TikTok trying the triple dipper so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the mozzarella sticks, the honey chipotle chicken crispers and the southwest egg rolls. I was most excited for the cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks. Sadly when my food was delivered I could immediately see that the cheese in my mozzarella sticks had been overcooked to the point that the cheese was busting out. So unfortunately there was no cheese left inside them, just the remnants of cheese and crust. Definitely no cheese pull. The egg rolls had good flavor but they seemed like they had been sitting out. They were lukewarm and dry but still the best part of the dish. The chicken crispers were cold but the sauce had a really good flavor. If the items would have been properly cooked and at the right temperature then the dish would have been great. Sadly, that was not the case. My husband said his burger was okay, he ordered the double rancher burger. However his fries were very overcooked. Our server was very friendly and attentive which is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. The girl that delivered our food was not our server. She wasn’t friendly at all. She had a very idgaf attitude. She coldly put our food on the table without saying anything and left. It was very obvious the cheese in the mozzarella sticks had been cooked out yet she still delivered the food. All in all we weren’t impressed with our experience and it’s safe to say we will not return. There are far better restaurants in town and in this economy, I’d rather not waste money on subpar food.

Took food 45 minutes and the food was cold. Our drinks sat empty for 15 minutes. We ordered 2 molten cakes at the end it took them 30 minutes just to have them taken to another table and instead of them offering to make it right they asked if we wanted to wait another 30 minutes for another order.

This all happened at the Slide location on Memorial day. Had family come to town and we decided we wanted some of Chile's fajitas and sweet tea. We were seated and ordered the sweet teas, after a few minutes we were told they had NO sweet teas so we ordered Dr Pepper then was told the Dr Pepper was not working properly so we got cokes. Now, we ordered fajitas and again after a few minutes another waitress came to inform us that you had NO BEEF FAJITAS. So, after all this time and aggravation our Memorial Day Chile's lunch was ended by us leaving very disappointed. Out of all days Not to have what Chili's is famous for, this wasn't a good one to chose.This all took place at 1:30pm and they were not that busy.and wasn't open long enough to sell out.

We ate here March 23rd. The service was good but the food was burnt and I only took a few bites. They comped my entree and also comped our dessert which was very nice of them. However I have been sick since I ate there. I threw up as soon as I woke up this morning and am still experiencing digestive issues. I would recommend the manager or owner check the kitchen and fridges because you can kill people if there's food not at the right temp or if it's past expiration. I do not plan on ever returning.

Wait staff is nice and attentive. The curbside is a whole nother story. Waited 30minutes because my son likes their pizza amd fries. It was just sitting on the counter. Don't tell customers to wait for a 'ready text' if we'll never get one.

If this restaurant is going to charge $25+ for a plate of food, you would think the food wouldn't be burnt or dry. Disappointing to say the least. The waitress was very nice.

Appetizer took at least 20 minutes. Which sucks for the server who suggested them because im sure this could affect her tips. Either way food was good but thats twice for me already. My return will be slow.

I’m so disappointed in chilis now. They are no longer serving corn on the cob… which was the only reason I ever came to chilis. I certainly didn’t come for their steak that’s almost always over cooked and small portioned. Just mid food now, we will not be coming back. You lost a customer chilis.

This is the second time I have gone to Chili’s here in Lubbock, Texas. And this is the second time that I’ve had to send my burger back because it was raw. Unfortunately, for them this time, which is the second time they didn’t even bother to bring out a new food for me at all. I waited over 20 minutes and finally I just said forget it cancel the order I’m not paying for any of this. The first time I went to Chili’s over here they did the same thing however they fixed me a new burger right away and brought it back and it was done. This time, of course as I mentioned above, they didn’t bother. They just ignored me. I talked to the manager. His name was Fox. I told him what happened. He asked me about the second burger, and I looked at him and I said there was no second burger. They never brought anything back to me. So even though I know it wasn’t his fault it was the the responsibility of the staff to make this right, they did not !!! I will never ever go to Chili’s again in Lubbock. I do not recommend them at all.

Horrible service!! My food came out wrong and cold well not my salad that had brown old lettuce in it. My soup came out wrong the 1st time cold the 2nd time! My corn on the cob was old and cold. It took 30 minutes to get a old fashion burger, soup , salad , and corn on the cob just for it all to be cold . Our chips were cold we were there 48 minutes I didn't even get to eat! My husband felt bad so he didn't really eat his food either. I canceled my order it was already taking long just to remake me another salad and corn. Management came out said she's sorry and that's it. We're regulars there but this place and the service have gotten bad! Oh and our waitress never came back to the table but once. I asked her for a refill she never came back I asked her for ranch warmer chips and nothing she never came back to our table !

Macaroni was gross, my chicken was extremely small, and on top of that the server was very inattentive!! It was my son’s birthday, and he DIDN’T get his birthday reward or a song, which is the whole reason we came. We will not be back.

The waitress was annoyed by me asking for refills. I ordered a sweet tea. She refilled the same. When I asked for a third refilled knowing she got me sweet tea the first and second time. Then on the third she brought me unsweet. And we been waiting 45 minutes. Eating chips and dip with 3 teas in. Think we will take it to go.

Food was horrible and shouldn't have been almost $94 There was no room for anyone in the restaurant and they kept seating people They sat 4 families of 6 back to back when other tables were available through the restaurant that would not have made any of us uncomfortable Couldn't even move back in my chair to use the restroom because we were that close The waitress had an attitude and acted like it was a tragedy to go get a juice box for my son She didn’t even bring it another waitress did The same waitress who brought the juice was walking around with chips and salsa and I guess she didn’t know where it went and literally chunked it in the middle of our table (as we were all talking) and said free chips and salsa and walked off (it was not ours nor did we want it) Very unprofessional My daughter got food poisoning from the triple dipper she ordered and it is her birthday The women’s bathroom was dirty I should have my funds fully refunded I will never step back into this restaurant

Went in at 3:45pm to the bar area. The lobby had maybe 10 tables consisting of 2-3 tops. 5 servers and the bartender.....and this is what it looked liked. The bartender had no tickets to fulfil and only 2 tables before us. I was highly appalled at the mess everywhere.

Tryed to sit 2 people at a 8 people table in the most uncomfortable area smh and when I asked for a booth they looked surprised and offered the bar. Then we were told we could only have 1 drink smh

Everyone in this picture should be let go. That was the worst experience I've had in a long time. Let me explain; I placed a mobile pickup order 30 minutes in advance, took 10 minutes to get there, and took another 20 minutes to wait for my food. It was NOT busy, and to top it off, almost ALL the employees were in the back partying. This is not hyperbole, they were actually in the back yelling, cursing, eating food, and playing on their phones. I've never seen anything like it. Not a single care in the world, meanwhile you had 3 uber eats drivers standing next to me, confused, waiting for SOMEONE to come out just to acknowledge them. Some even went into the kitchen to let the employees know they were waiting. Not to mention how unsanitary it is, touching food after they touch their phones, eating food directly out of the fry basket, etc. Sure hope it wasn't someone's order! One of the employees (rightfully) got an angry phone call while I was there. Instead of dealing with the upset customer, he made excuses stating that "they don't have a GM, just an 'acting' GM" and completely dismissed this upset customer. I'm all for people having a good time at work, but come on.

Chilis on Slide Rd...I totally understand that you are having to raise prices. It's our world right now and I'm willing to pay the price. What I don't understand is when my delivery order arrived....my cup of queso was only half full. HALF. I'm a huge fan of Chili's but you can't expect to raise prices and then not even give a FULL cup of what the customer ordered....COME ON! $7.19 cup of queso...I DON'T THINK SO.

This is seriously unacceptable. The cow is still mooing at me. I asked them to get me a burger slightly pink so that it isn't completely dry. But this is completely raw it really isn't safe to serve someone this. I called and asked to speak to the manager and I was put on hold for 10 minutes without anyone coming to the phone. I had to hang up and call again, and ask for the manager once more. After telling here what I had gotten and my concern , all she offered was to remove the burger off the charge on my card, she didnt even offer to remake it for me or anything , this is horrible, I mean come on they dont have people in the restaurant to tend to ,you would think they would be making their to go order as excellent as possible. If I could rate this a zero I would.

I wish i'd checked the reviews. Spent 45 minutes on my lunch break waiting for a triple dipper and some sides in a near empty restaurant. I got up and left to circle k because that's all I had time to eat. And she walks up to my girlfriend and says "special delivery" 5 minutes later. Like you didn't notice i clearly just paid $60 to sit and eat chips with my girlfriend and left?? Ridiculous. She said the food was good, but that's the last money this location will get from me.

The waitress was the only good thing about the experience. They were out of many things on the menu, including queso. Took 45 minutes to get our food after ordering. Food was also very cold.

The medium rare steaks were damn near rare. the mac n cheese was rubbery noodles in white water. and how do you screw up mashed potatoes? Best thing was the over priced chips and salsa (didn't want salsa) and queso priced separately. Not to mention a server dropped some chips at the table next to us and no one swept them up. They just broke into tiny pieces as people walked. Took 5 minutes to sit down and forever to get worthless food for WAY too much $$.

Do not usually have an issue with service at Chilis but it was the worst at this location by far. Not sure if short-staffed but it was chaotic. Also, NO SKILLET QUESO? What a terrible idea by Chilis. Why remove a favorite item that’s been available for so many years? The replacement queso was basic and tasted like something you’d microwave at home yourself. I had really loved that skillet queso but I don’t see much point in visiting Chilis anymore now that it’s been foolishly removed.

The problem is they have food on their ceiling that even when you inform them that it's there, they did nothing to clean it. And it looks like it has been there for me quite a few weeks. It's dried on then they seem to not care. They're, I'm not a happy group of people. And then the staff lets you just sit there forever. It was quite disappointing since I had been this location years ago and it was way better than it is now, right? It doesn't seem that they have a sense of urgency and or a sense of making it a fun thing, nice dinning experience. The food was good. Not great, but good. But that was about the extent of the positive of the event that I had with that location. I called to speak to the manager to inform them about this. And the food that's on the ceiling since there, the employee who was a host that I informed did nothing about it.Did not tell anyone they didn't let it sit there so that's got to be a health hazard. They gave me the number of the district manager who doesn't answer, and then I called their corporate number, who says, Hey, leave a your information on our website. Everything seems to point to they really don't care. So my ratings here are based on my visit from current, as opposed to the way the restaurant used to be years ago. If you go there, the food is good, the service is horrible. And they really don't seem to care about making it a fun, enjoyable thing dinner out. And the company, it tells you to go to websites.If you have a problem with the serious that you had. This could be a corporate culture that has shifted since the last time. I have gone to chile's at this location, which has been a few years. Overall, there are better options with better customer service and better experiences in Texas. Then this particular establishment, and this is a particular location. Can it get better? I'm sure it can, but they need leaders. We're going to take it seriously and not let it get to this point before they possibly do something. But when I did call and talk to the manager at the location, she was very nice, but yeah, it seemed like lots of words, because all of the things that she gave me to do people, they didn't answer or the company said, leave. You're yeah comments on our website.

The food was horrible and the manager was horrible! The staff didn't care if you were there or not. They brought out our food with it being charred, dry, and missing condiments. The fries were cold and hard. If you have a good set of choppers and like cold fries, you'll like these. Asked the waiter if I could have the ranch that went on my little burgers, he brought me a little dipping cup. The manager came to the table, and my husband showed her how overcooked the burger was, and she said I'll have to tell the cooks. My husband said, " Five guys, really blows y'all away." The manager replied," Yeah, they have good burgers, "along with saying that if you don't eat the fries after 5 minutes, they're not good anymore." Then walked away! The manager must not have liked her job! No refills were offered to us. Ordered queso with chips, and the cheese was so overcooked or what seemed to be sitting out for too long. Nasty, very nasty! Beware this place is a dive!!
