The food was pretty good but a tad bit pricey but it's understandable giving there located in an expensive area but the service as fast, nice and attentive and I loved the look and decor along with the music being played. Enjoyable eating experience.

Cool ambiance inside in this pho shop that was formerly a burger king. I like how they kept the drive through. Banh mi and pho taste good.

This is one of those places that’s so amazing I want to keep it to myself! Tasty, fresh food, efficiently and cheerfully prepared, at a reasonable price, in a clean and comfortable environment. Fantastic! Pho is top-notch, as are the sandwiches.

New and attractive space. The pork banh mi is my favorite, but the pho is good too. If you order spicy, it's pretty spicy (although my Korean granddaughter might disagree).

Convenient location. Stopped by Home Depot for plants and got here during a cold rainy day. Got a couple sandwiches and a bowl of special beef noodle. Yummy for sure =] Definitely coming back for this Pho hotpot.

Nice- it still looks like a burger king including posters 'make it a meal' on the drivethrough but you can get Vietnamese food. I got a chicken Ban Minh and it was good. Wish they had the traditional style with pate. The baguette is excellent. Service is fast and friendly. I'll be back.

No MSG. Noodles, rolls and sandwiches we tried all taste delicious. They provide ice water and hot water. Hot water always has perfect temperature. The best Pho noodle restaurant.

First time visiting this place, the atmosphere is very relaxing. Food is delicious. I asked for spicy soup. If you are not a fan of spicy things, don't order it. This soup was on fire 🔥 super spicy. Sandwiches are delicious, perfect crunch on the bread. Definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I gave this place a try last night - 1 beef and meatball pho, egg rolls and a pork belly banh mi. Everything was DELICIOUS! The broth was flavorful, the banh mi bread was just right and the pork belly -so good! the egg rolls were a great appetizer and their sauce was nice! My only let down was that we didn't get any bean sprouts, lime or pho fixings .. perhaps they were an addition charge? or they just forgot? - they were pretty busy in the kitchen... either way, it's not something that will keep us from coming back! :) We have been waiting for this place to open for what seems like, forever - the location is very convenient!

The place is clean and service is adequate. We order beef pho and chicken pho. The quality and quantity of meats are great. Chicken is range free chicken leg. The price is slightly higher than average pho stores but consider the quality of the food, it is worth it.

The flavor was good!!! The pho here was one of the best I’ve ever had. The salad was not bad, abundant. The price is reasonable. Worth to come again.

This used to be a Burger King but is now a super cute pho restaurant! I love the interior so much, and the seats are comfy. The staff is super friendly and prompt. Make sure to bring cash so you can tip them as they don’t allow electronic tips. (This is also a note for myself as I didn’t have cash when I came.) I got the vegan pho but added chicken. There were large portions of veggies and chicken in the soup! The noodles were very bland and kind of soggy and the vegan broth is too bland for my taste but I will probably request a different broth next time. Nice little spot I will probably come by again if I am in the area :)

This is such a cute little spot. Multiple different “areas” to sit that each have their own vibe. Our waiter, Tony, was really great, the service was fast, and the food was good. This is definitely becoming one of my more frequent spots!!

There's little I can say in ways of critique here. I got the special pho and enjoyed it immensely. The soup is balanced and not too salty. The meat is plentiful and fresh. The place is clean and well lit. The service is fast and courteous. So the only critique I have to point out is the green onions. They were cut quite crudely.

A Cozy Spot We Keep Coming Back To This little Vietnamese place right next to Ace Academy has quickly become our go-to after summer camp. After a long day of learning and running around, my kids always ask to come here and honestly I’m just as excited every time. The space has a warm and cozy feel with a forest-inspired vibe. Even though they don’t take reservations, we’ve never had to wait long. They also have high chairs which is super helpful when we’ve got the whole crew with us. My daughter calls it a hidden gem and she’s not wrong. The egg rolls are perfectly crispy and the combination chicken banh mi is our top pick. It’s packed with flavor and always hits the spot. The pho is also great especially on days when we’re craving something warm and comforting. It’s the kind of place that just feels easy and welcoming. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, and happy kids. We’re big fans.

Great spot if you need to feed a large group with young kids on short notice and would like to take them somewhere decent looking without spending a fortune. The restaurant interior is quite nice, really clean, plus there's a seating area for a large group in the back that feels semi-private. Grilled meat + rice dishes were delicious and a huge hit with the kids. The bun bo hue has awesome favor, much better than other pho restaurants in the Bay, though I wish it came with slightly less spice. I usually get my food not spicy so it took me a while but I still finished the bowl because it was that good! The service was impeccable too - friendly, attentive, helpful. Remember to bring CASH for tip. 10% already included in the bill and you leave the rest of the tip on the table in cash.

Great Vietnamese dishes, in a contemporary ambience, at relatively low prices. The vegetarian BANH MI ($9) had soft bread, and great tofu filling. The combination rice plate ($18) is quite large with yummy pork and egg. The chicken pho ($16) has great flavor and will fill you up. The restaurant is new and they will sort out small issues (the sandwich combo shows curly fries in the menu, but it came with unseasoned straight fries, the lemon soda says it comes with pickled lemons, but did not).

I work at Home Depot in the same parking lot as this restaurant. We have waited patiently for the past three years through Covid for them to finish remodeling and open. It was well worth the wait!! Service is impeccable! And pho is delicious! Their water is even cucumber infused. I had the special soup pho, I asked for spicy, and I added the red pepper they have on the table! Yum!! I also ordered a side of egg rolls and they were delicious as well!! I’ll be going back on my lunch breaks to taste more of their menu!

Great food and service. Interior vibe is clean, airy and fun so don’t be put off by the 1990 Burger King architecture. Wanton bowl had lots of wantons in a flavorful broth. Seafood Pho had lots of shrimp, mussels, white fish and calamari in a great tasting broth with just the right amount of heat. Menu also had 8-10 types of Banh Mi sandwiches, as well. We definitely will return.

Super delicious banh mi and drinks! Service was very attentive & nice, food came out quickly. Cute atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. My partner and I went for a date night. We got the chicken & the beef banh mi - I think the beef was the best! Filled with fresh ingredients. And the egg rolls (ate them too fast to take a pic 😅) were perfectly crispy & meaty. Looking forward to trying the pho & other drinks on the menu next time! My only minor concern was that our table was next to a door that is another entrance/exit so it got quite chilly at times. Tolerable enough that I would sit there again if not too cold out.

Come here for some authentic, clean, and delicious Pho! The meat is throughly clean, broth tastes fresh. Being Vietnamese, you always have your guard up about trying Vietnamese restaurants cause our moms be cooking it up in the kitchen. Happy to report, this place checked all the boxes!!! The staff is genuinely kind and are patient to answer any questions about the menu. They sell Bun Bo Hue too, it’s spicy and has that kick. Next time I want a whole bowl of BBH. We picked up a Cha (cold cut) banh mi for the road which satisfied our cravings. The bread was so yummy and fluffy! We enjoyed the meat, dry shredded pork, with the picked daikon. A bit pricier than other SJ banh mi’s but you’re in the Cupertino area, it’s expensive out here. We also can’t wait to come back to try com tam (broken rice) and vermicelli noodles :)

Who knew - Banh Mi and Pho joint with a drive thru! They have hot pot, which I am sure is Viet style in every way. I'll have to come back and give it a try as well. I ordered pho with brisket only, and the staff made every effort to get it right. I hope they keep this up because it is restaurant style service. I also came on Sunday evening on a rainy weekend, seating with only 4 other tables with customers in a 40 plus table capacity. Anyway, I'm very picky about pho quality and broth. The cooks made the mark with it and the oil amount being just at the right amount in heaviness. Anymore would be horrid. The service scape and interior is very chic and modern, French accents, and Viet Cafe music running in the background. Very fitting and likeable. Desert menu, they have one thank goodness and the drinks look great. I ended up getting the lychee delight, served stylishly in a drink flask. That tasted just right like a mojito. I will walk home with a classic Viet bologna banh mi sandwich to go and won't have to think twice that this sandwich will be made right. 😋 Thank you Pho Banh Mi and wish this place good luck down the road. It will do well. They have other locations as well in Palo Alto and Los Altos.

We had very good experience for the first three visits. We ordered Pho Seafood, Pho Special and Wonton Egg Noodle Soup and enjoyed them all. We also had Lemongrass Beef Banh MI and Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. We liked them all as well. Today, it was our fourth visit. We had Pho Seafood and Lemongrass Beef Banh MI again. Pho was as good as before. But, the Lemongrass Banh MI was not as juicy, tender, fine cut and tasty as before. We were a little bit disappointed. We hope the quality will be maintained consistently. So, we can continue enjoying this newly opened good restaurant in Cupertino.

Have you ever had a whole lobster in your pho before? You can here! They also have Pho Hot Pot! We didn't try that this time, but it looked interesting! If you're not looking for soup, I highly recommend the Banh Mis - they're so flavorful and the bread is just baked enough that it doesn't cut your mouth when you bite into it. Did you also know this used to be a Burger King? They did a good job with their garden accent wall. *Lobster Pho (just ok, the lobster tasted kind of stale) *Combination Banh Mi w/ Grilled Pork *Lychee Delight *Vietnamese Coffee

I had the beef banh mi. I liked the toasted bread and fresh veggies in the sandwich. The beef was bland and had no taste. I had to add hoison sauce. I talked to the manager and his only response was we have three restaurants and people order a lot of Bahn mi. He didn't want to listen to the customer. I admit I don't know much about authentic bahn mi. But I do know when something doesn't have enough flavor. The beef needs seasoning or sauce on the sandwich. Please taste for yourself.

It wasn't bad, but Bowl of Pho down the street is so much better. More meat, more noodles, more veggies, tastes better, better meat quality, more menu options, and faster service. Honestly, just go there instead.

Under new management, so we tried it again although we were disappointed last several times under previous management. Ordered Pho and Bun(pork Vietnamese salad bowl)。pho is ok but bun is excellent . Very flavorful, quality veggie variety. Good portion of bbq pork. Probably 2nd best Bun I ever had. No. 1 was in S. Cal. Nice clean setting. Will be back with friends. Update: came back for lunch Sat. Ordered combination bun and combination sandwich. Bun is as good as last time, lots of veggies, bbq pork good flavor, spring roll good taste and 3 shrimps are kind of bland. Sandwich is very large portion and good in general. Bread can be lightly toasted to be perfect.

Late review for back in Sep'24. Came by with my parents. My mom like coming here with her friends since staff is friendly and lets them yap without kicking them out. I personally had the special pho for $17. Pricier end. Pho I would probably prefer pho ha noi based on taste and portions. We also ordered a grilled pork banh mi $9.95, and a vermicelli pork $17.95. Staff was friendly and offered me a drink for it being my first time. Easy parking in the plaza. RIP to the burger king that used to be here haha.

This used to be a Burger King and awesomely they still have the drive-through going on but I have not utilized it yet for pho. They did a good job of shaping up the interior and the drab windows are even tinted with color now. I liked the broth of the beef pho and it came with a good amount of meat and green onions surprisingly. The noodle portion was on the small side. They add an automatic 10% service fee which is fine as I would at least tip that much but just FYI in case anyone didn't notice and take that into account before tipping more.

P

Enjoyed a banh mi sandwich and a chicken salad. Sandwich was toasted to perfection which gave it a very nice crunch with every bite. Asked for no jalapeños but was added. I was able to take it out of the sandwich with no issues. Chicken salad had a nice dressing to it with more on the side and the grilled chicken was delicious! Would definitely come back to try other dishes and love that they have a drive thru!

Pho Banh Mi offers a delightful dining experience with its combination banh mi featuring pork, accompanied by a generous serving of French fries and a Vietnamese iced coffee for just an extra dollar. The roll itself boasted a delightful buttery texture, while the addition of egg complemented the flavorful pork pieces beautifully. This steal of a deal not only satisfies the palate but also offers excellent value for money, making Pho Banh Mi a must-visit destination for those craving authentic Vietnamese flavors without breaking the bank.

Very nice experience. The menu is limited, but that's a good thing. Not overwhelming like some Pho restaurants. The waiters are attentive and helpful. I've been here twice and plan on returning in the near future. Good Pho... I love the lemon soda water and the spa water is tasty as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

2.5 * max Food 1 star for traditional spring roll. Shrimp did not taste/smell fresh. Not exactly sure about the avocado in there but maybe someone will like it. The lettuce should be chop up and include some other herbs perhaps? It is called “traditional” spring roll. The sauce is very starchy and missing flavor. 2.5 stars for banh mi. Also lacks flavor. Very bready, soft and not toasted :( 3.5 stars for combination pho. At least they give a lot of meats. 3.5 is for the beef balls! They have the chewy Viet beef balls! Service I’m not even sure if their servers fully understand English. They seems to be very fail at getting orders and often does not come back after you ask for something Also the location is right across from a kid ballet school and dance school yet they have no kid bowl/utensil, not even plastic fork/spoon. They also don’t seem to have fresh noodle option. They also gave our daughter a chipped bowl! The place has only opened for 1 week!

I liked the decor and the staff were friendly. However, the food is overpriced. The spring rolls were good. The Spicy Beef Pho was not good. It had the wrong kind of noodles in it which made it difficult to eat, and it was laced with MSG which gave me a headache for the rest of the day.

We ordered a #12, Grilled Chicken Banh Mi and one #5, Walking Chicken Pho at the drivethru. The Banh Mi was excellent but the pho had dark meat consisting of drumstick and thigh meat. The drumstick meat was okay but the thigh meat was extremely tough to chew. If we were close enough I would have returned it. But we stopped on the way home from the dentist and it wasn't practical to drive back. The young lady that took the should speak a bit slower if she wants to be understood. Due to the tough chicken, this place was not impressive having spent $28.22 for lunch. I'm not sure if we'd stop by again.

The decoration is good. I ordered special Pho for dinner and it is mediocre. Beef slices are not tender and broth is not hot enough and has sweetness(?)

10% service charge. Pho starting from $16. Togo boxes 0.50 each. For the #4 pho itself, I’d give 3.5-4 stars, about average. I’m not liking this service fee trend in SJ so I’m not coming back and supporting this practice.

We ate here when it first opened and like it. But it seems to have gone downhill - change of ownership perhaps? The menu has been simplified - only a handful of pre-configured pho soups. For example, no pho tai (rare steak). You have to order rare steak and meatballs, hold the meatballs. Do they give you more steak because you didn't take the meatballs? Not sure. Spring rolls had shrimp, but no pork in them. Slices of avocado instead - is that an improvement? Or did they run out of pork? Either way they were pretty tasteless and uninteresting. The pho itself was OK, once you figured out how to order. The noodles themselves were stuck together in a clump at the bottom of the bowl, which made the soup hard to eat. Asked about desert but they don't have any. The interior is clean and cheerful, and the service was friendly. But the food is uninteresting, basic, and limited in choice. Plenty of better options in the neighborhood and surrounding area.

Expensive... But decent banh mi. Expect $13-15 before tax and tip. I think their in-store menu price is higher (~$2 more) than door dash. It also took a bit longer than expected for a banh mi order at a slow night. With so many other Vietnamese options in the South bay, its not my top choice to return.

The food is good, but it is simply too expensive for this area. A bowl of pho here costs about 20 dollars with not much to justify for it. Prices need to come down to be more in line with the many other pho restaurants in the area.

None authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Pho below average and the Banh Mi is just ok.

I gave this place a year since it opened, hoping it would improve but I'm moving on to the various other options around here. Firstly, they are not online and most of the phonecalls either go to voicemail or there is no answer. A lot of times we give up and order from somewhere else. Second, they have lost our order a few times. Since you can only order over the phone, the number of times we turn up and they haven't put in our order has become too frequent. Doesn't help that a phonecall is the only way to order takeout - if you can even get through. Lastly, they have decided to add a charge for each takeout container and surcharges. The food is fine but the lack of service and unprofessionalism is not worth the trouble. So I'm throwing out the menu and will be surprised if this management lasts another year.

Pho Ga’s Broth was good but quantity of Rice Noodles & Chicken was very small in portion size. Friendly Drive-In Representative! However price felt expensive considering the portion size.

We had two Pho. Vegetarian and seafood. Vegetarian soup was tasteless , more like hot water and noodles. The seafood Pho was little better but very few pieces of seafood. Two Pho and fresh spring-role for $55. No thank you.

Their chicken options were absolutely terrible -- the walking chicken pho is basically chicken bone pieces with small pieces of meat and skin still attached to it. The rice chicken dish tasted off as well, it did not seem like they used normal chicken. Honestly, regret eating here.

Great service but the vegan pho was very bland, literally just boiled vegetables, no coriander, no lemongrass, please add flavor...

I love pho, I think, how could I go wrong with some delicious pho. Got takeout from this establishment and it really opened my eyes to the new lows one can achieve with what I would consider my favorite dish. Noodles were stale and brittle, every spoonful of broth was just globlets of grease, which was not helped by the mere skimpy sprigs of basil, and the meat was uh... not tasty. I can't speak for dining in nor for the other menu items, but that takeout pho was easily the worst I've ever had. I've learned to be grateful for the pho that I can eat anywhere else.

I started frequenting this place a few months ago and back then the portions were satisfying. I understand prices are up because of this democrat inflation (biden/harris)...but since visiting a few days ago the have downsized the portions about 20% and have also started charging an unethical 10% service charge. Ultimately I felt ripped off (high prices and shrinking portions) I won't be coming back.

J
Joon Moy

I'll keep it simple here. For $18, I'd expect *double* the amount of food compared to what I got. Extremely skimpy portions for just standard fast food quality pho and rice/noodle plates. I'm not returning

They charge for carry out/to go containers! It was $.85 for the spring roll! Does it mean I should bring my own containers for carry out orders the next time? 😳

We have been going to this place for over a year. They recently changed ownership and the menu is not what it was. They don’t even have option for soda which is crazy to me. Sad to say we won’t be visiting here anymore.

Such a turn-off! My best friend and I parked in front of the restaurant 15 minutes before they opened. As we were waiting the cook came out with his gloves on holding his dirty phone in one hand and smoking a cigarette in the other hand 🤢 We Left Right After!

First, they advertised a lobster pho, even though they don't make it. They have it on the menu but they don't make it. They didn't say they were out of ingredients, they said they "don't have it"; as in don't make it. So I guess they just advertise it to get people in the door! Should've walked out then. But we ordered their other pho dishes. Then we realized the only condiments they have was Sriracha sauce, chili oil, and hoisin sauce. That was clue #2, should've canceled the orders and walked out then. But we were pressed for time and decided to stay. It was not worth it. It was pho for the American pallete...let's just leave at that. Would not recommend this place. Have no idea how they got a 4 star rating.

Never go again! Ordered takeout, it charged the takeout fees for each dish, but also charged service fee 10%. Checked with cashier, he said that it is not a mistake, it’s the policy. Bad.

Noodle soup has one very important element which is the temperature of the soup, but I was so disappointed when I ordered a dinner for 8 people on Sunday 3/5/2023. It embarrassed me because every guest who get their noodle soup came with ICE COLD (from the fridge)meat and noodles so when they poured the soup over it totally cool down the whole meal so everyone had to find a pot to reboil their soup before they can start their dinner. I guest you could imagine how messy it would be for 7 people struggling to reboil their soup in one domestic kitchen and took nearly over 30 minutes to have something to eat after spending $150 and had to cook yourself. And to mention the 8th person who ordered a papaya salad who end up the salad was so plain, not sauce and mean portioned make her lost her appetite and had to be dumped. What a disastrous dinner I ever had and I swear I won’t go here again. If someone do, good luck to them.

We came in and were exciting for some nice pho after swimming, the man in the front with the suit was so rude off the bat! First of all he sat us down and no water was given but the table next to us i saw he gave them water, second was they only had enough for one bowl of chicken pho but we all wanted it so I was trying to ask him some questions like oh can I have maybe half chicken half beef or beef with chicken broth? He was extremely rude and unprofessional with his answers and I was willing to get up and leave but my friend didn’t want to so we stayed. I ended up ordering the beef pho with steak and meatballs which was good but I didn’t even feel hungry anymore after being treated that way for asking 2 simple questions. Another thing was my friend ordered avacado spring rolls and the avacado in it was hard as a rock and we all know hard avacado is gross and has no taste so my friends mom told him that it’s hard and should serve ripe avacados and he began to say “because we normally put shrimp in it” I have no clue what that has to do with the avacados being hard and gross… he was disregarding her whole request even though she was nice about it and wanted to help him with food quality and standards instead he completely ignored her and kept looking over to someone who came in to the kitchen. rude. That guy needs an attitude adjustment I’m assuming he’s the owner so being the owner and acting like that doesn’t make the place look good at all because wow the place is so pretty and clean but he’s got to go! Also the servers/ kitchen workers were very nice though. If you’re craving pho and you’re around this area just go down the street to pho hoa we just wanted to try something new but we will be going back to the original place from now.

This is why you can’t trust google reviews . This pho place in the area showed the highest ratings but the chicken pho was trash. Told them white meat. They brought pho with nasty skin on it and the broth was terrible. So oily and lacks flavor. It was basically a bowl of grease. Disgusting never going back here.

The pho is very expensive and not worth the price. You can get much better elsewhere with more generous cuts of meat.

Worst pho I’ve ever had. I ordered the chicken pho soup and it was so overly sweet I couldn’t even finish it. We were a party of two but our food came out nearly 20 minutes apart, so one of us had to eat alone. Food was terrible, service was just as bad. Would not recommend.

This was hands down the worst pho I have ever had. I never knew pho could be made so bad. The noodles and steak were fine, no complaints but the broth was literally just oil, nothing else. It was so bad I didnt eat any of it. I cannot express how bad the broth is. The service and atmosphere were fine, and if that's your criteria for a good restaurant then this would be a good place for you, but if you value quality and tasteful food I would stay away from this place. There are far too many other Pho options to very close to this place to ever go here. On top of all of this, there is a service charge for credit card and they charge for to go boxes. Extremely overprice and terrible pho. I would not refer this place to anyone.

We ordered the special pho (advertised to come with tripe and other meats) and traditional broken rice place no. 30 (advertised to come with pork chop, shredded pork, and egg cake). Our pho didn’t have any tripe and our rice plate came without shredded pork. I typically won’t order a rice plate if it doesn’t come with the shredded pork, since it’s what makes it authentic. It would’ve been fine if they told us those things were missing after we order, but they just serve the food thinking we would not notice. The shredded pork was replaced with fried egg. The rice plate also took very long to arrive about 20 min after the pho. They asked me if I want to replace my plate after I started eating and I asked for the shredded pork on the side instead, but after our family finished eating already (about 45 min after arriving at the restaurant), the shredded pork still has not arrived. At the end when we were paying, we asked that they charge me the Pork Chop plate instead of the Traditional Rice Plate , somehow we already got charged the full price , so then they finally gave us rice and shredded pork in a to go box. It took so long to make it right that the mood was just ruined at this point. The restaurant looks nice, clean and has better ambiance compared to a typical Pho place, but I think I will rather go to a dirtier Pho place with better service and food. The food was just ok. The pho flavor is decent. The pork chop was small in the rice plate. Their spring rolls and the sauce were just mediocre. If you must come here, get only the Pho since it comes fast, but don’t expect to get every meat advertised on their menu.

$20 for a bowl of pho.... That's quite ridiculous. Out of what used to be a burger king? Price aside... The utensils are all wrong. Metal Fork and spoon alongside disposable chopsticks? It's like make up your mind. Do you want to be eco friendly by using reusable utensils? But then they cheap out on the chopsticks with takeout chopsticks? Using the metal tools leaves a metallic taste in your mouse. Should have been ceramic/porcelain soup spoon and proper chopsticks. No saucers for dipping. Definitely don't come here for the pho. I noticed most people got banh mi as takeout.

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and was shocked to find a 10% service charge added to my bill. While waiting for my food, I even asked the staff to confirm whether this charge was a mistake. I cannot understand a business model that imposes such charges on takeout orders; it feels unfair, especially since I expected a straightforward transaction. While the food was acceptable, the pricing policy has left a bad taste. I value transparency and fairness in service, and unfortunately, this experience has led me to decide that I won't be returning. I hope the management reevaluates this policy for the sake of their customers.
