A Cozy Spot We Keep Coming Back To This little Vietnamese place right next to Ace Academy has quickly become our go-to after summer camp. After a long day of learning and running around, my kids always ask to come here and honestly I’m just as excited every time. The space has a warm and cozy feel with a forest-inspired vibe. Even though they don’t take reservations, we’ve never had to wait long. They also have high chairs which is super helpful when we’ve got the whole crew with us. My daughter calls it a hidden gem and she’s not wrong. The egg rolls are perfectly crispy and the combination chicken banh mi is our top pick. It’s packed with flavor and always hits the spot. The pho is also great especially on days when we’re craving something warm and comforting. It’s the kind of place that just feels easy and welcoming. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, and happy kids. We’re big fans.
Great spot if you need to feed a large group with young kids on short notice and would like to take them somewhere decent looking without spending a fortune. The restaurant interior is quite nice, really clean, plus there's a seating area for a large group in the back that feels semi-private. Grilled meat + rice dishes were delicious and a huge hit with the kids. The bun bo hue has awesome favor, much better than other pho restaurants in the Bay, though I wish it came with slightly less spice. I usually get my food not spicy so it took me a while but I still finished the bowl because it was that good! The service was impeccable too - friendly, attentive, helpful. Remember to bring CASH for tip. 10% already included in the bill and you leave the rest of the tip on the table in cash.
Great Vietnamese dishes, in a contemporary ambience, at relatively low prices. The vegetarian BANH MI ($9) had soft bread, and great tofu filling. The combination rice plate ($18) is quite large with yummy pork and egg. The chicken pho ($16) has great flavor and will fill you up. The restaurant is new and they will sort out small issues (the sandwich combo shows curly fries in the menu, but it came with unseasoned straight fries, the lemon soda says it comes with pickled lemons, but did not).
I work at Home Depot in the same parking lot as this restaurant. We have waited patiently for the past three years through Covid for them to finish remodeling and open. It was well worth the wait!! Service is impeccable! And pho is delicious! Their water is even cucumber infused. I had the special soup pho, I asked for spicy, and I added the red pepper they have on the table! Yum!! I also ordered a side of egg rolls and they were delicious as well!! I’ll be going back on my lunch breaks to taste more of their menu!
Great food and service. Interior vibe is clean, airy and fun so don’t be put off by the 1990 Burger King architecture. Wanton bowl had lots of wantons in a flavorful broth. Seafood Pho had lots of shrimp, mussels, white fish and calamari in a great tasting broth with just the right amount of heat. Menu also had 8-10 types of Banh Mi sandwiches, as well. We definitely will return.
I ordered Vietnamese ☕ drive through every time that I stopped by Home Depot. The coffee was very good and the service was very good. They always had a smile on their face. My wife also like their pho. I hope you guy will enjoy it too.
Super delicious banh mi and drinks! Service was very attentive & nice, food came out quickly. Cute atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. My partner and I went for a date night. We got the chicken & the beef banh mi - I think the beef was the best! Filled with fresh ingredients. And the egg rolls (ate them too fast to take a pic 😅) were perfectly crispy & meaty. Looking forward to trying the pho & other drinks on the menu next time! My only minor concern was that our table was next to a door that is another entrance/exit so it got quite chilly at times. Tolerable enough that I would sit there again if not too cold out.
Great staff, contemporary setting, amazing Vietnamese food. Definitely try their bun bo hue. The prices are friendly and the staff is kind. The portions are also very big so be prepared to take some food home.
Come here for some authentic, clean, and delicious Pho! The meat is throughly clean, broth tastes fresh. Being Vietnamese, you always have your guard up about trying Vietnamese restaurants cause our moms be cooking it up in the kitchen. Happy to report, this place checked all the boxes!!! The staff is genuinely kind and are patient to answer any questions about the menu. They sell Bun Bo Hue too, it’s spicy and has that kick. Next time I want a whole bowl of BBH. We picked up a Cha (cold cut) banh mi for the road which satisfied our cravings. The bread was so yummy and fluffy! We enjoyed the meat, dry shredded pork, with the picked daikon. A bit pricier than other SJ banh mi’s but you’re in the Cupertino area, it’s expensive out here. We also can’t wait to come back to try com tam (broken rice) and vermicelli noodles :)
Who knew - Banh Mi and Pho joint with a drive thru! They have hot pot, which I am sure is Viet style in every way. I'll have to come back and give it a try as well. I ordered pho with brisket only, and the staff made every effort to get it right. I hope they keep this up because it is restaurant style service. I also came on Sunday evening on a rainy weekend, seating with only 4 other tables with customers in a 40 plus table capacity. Anyway, I'm very picky about pho quality and broth. The cooks made the mark with it and the oil amount being just at the right amount in heaviness. Anymore would be horrid. The service scape and interior is very chic and modern, French accents, and Viet Cafe music running in the background. Very fitting and likeable. Desert menu, they have one thank goodness and the drinks look great. I ended up getting the lychee delight, served stylishly in a drink flask. That tasted just right like a mojito. I will walk home with a classic Viet bologna banh mi sandwich to go and won't have to think twice that this sandwich will be made right. 😋 Thank you Pho Banh Mi and wish this place good luck down the road. It will do well. They have other locations as well in Palo Alto and Los Altos.

Late review for back in Sep'24. Came by with my parents. My mom like coming here with her friends since staff is friendly and lets them yap without kicking them out. I personally had the special pho for $17. Pricier end. Pho I would probably prefer pho ha noi based on taste and portions. We also ordered a grilled pork banh mi $9.95, and a vermicelli pork $17.95. Staff was friendly and offered me a drink for it being my first time. Easy parking in the plaza. RIP to the burger king that used to be here haha.
This used to be a Burger King and awesomely they still have the drive-through going on but I have not utilized it yet for pho. They did a good job of shaping up the interior and the drab windows are even tinted with color now. I liked the broth of the beef pho and it came with a good amount of meat and green onions surprisingly. The noodle portion was on the small side. They add an automatic 10% service fee which is fine as I would at least tip that much but just FYI in case anyone didn't notice and take that into account before tipping more.
Enjoyed a banh mi sandwich and a chicken salad. Sandwich was toasted to perfection which gave it a very nice crunch with every bite. Asked for no jalapeños but was added. I was able to take it out of the sandwich with no issues. Chicken salad had a nice dressing to it with more on the side and the grilled chicken was delicious! Would definitely come back to try other dishes and love that they have a drive thru!
Pho Banh Mi offers a delightful dining experience with its combination banh mi featuring pork, accompanied by a generous serving of French fries and a Vietnamese iced coffee for just an extra dollar. The roll itself boasted a delightful buttery texture, while the addition of egg complemented the flavorful pork pieces beautifully. This steal of a deal not only satisfies the palate but also offers excellent value for money, making Pho Banh Mi a must-visit destination for those craving authentic Vietnamese flavors without breaking the bank.
Very nice experience. The menu is limited, but that's a good thing. Not overwhelming like some Pho restaurants. The waiters are attentive and helpful. I've been here twice and plan on returning in the near future. Good Pho... I love the lemon soda water and the spa water is tasty as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Under new management, so we tried it again although we were disappointed last several times under previous management. Ordered Pho and Bun(pork Vietnamese salad bowl)。pho is ok but bun is excellent . Very flavorful, quality veggie variety. Good portion of bbq pork. Probably 2nd best Bun I ever had. No. 1 was in S. Cal. Nice clean setting. Will be back with friends. Update: came back for lunch Sat. Ordered combination bun and combination sandwich. Bun is as good as last time, lots of veggies, bbq pork good flavor, spring roll good taste and 3 shrimps are kind of bland. Sandwich is very large portion and good in general. Bread can be lightly toasted to be perfect.
Expensive... But decent banh mi. Expect $13-15 before tax and tip. I think their in-store menu price is higher (~$2 more) than door dash. It also took a bit longer than expected for a banh mi order at a slow night. With so many other Vietnamese options in the South bay, its not my top choice to return.

The food is good, but it is simply too expensive for this area. A bowl of pho here costs about 20 dollars with not much to justify for it. Prices need to come down to be more in line with the many other pho restaurants in the area.

Worst pho i’ve ever tasted, meatball tasted stale and old broth had no flavor

Great service but the vegan pho was very bland, literally just boiled vegetables, no coriander, no lemongrass, please add flavor...
$20 for a bowl of pho.... That's quite ridiculous. Out of what used to be a burger king? Price aside... The utensils are all wrong. Metal Fork and spoon alongside disposable chopsticks? It's like make up your mind. Do you want to be eco friendly by using reusable utensils? But then they cheap out on the chopsticks with takeout chopsticks? Using the metal tools leaves a metallic taste in your mouse. Should have been ceramic/porcelain soup spoon and proper chopsticks. No saucers for dipping. Definitely don't come here for the pho. I noticed most people got banh mi as takeout.
I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and was shocked to find a 10% service charge added to my bill. While waiting for my food, I even asked the staff to confirm whether this charge was a mistake. I cannot understand a business model that imposes such charges on takeout orders; it feels unfair, especially since I expected a straightforward transaction. While the food was acceptable, the pricing policy has left a bad taste. I value transparency and fairness in service, and unfortunately, this experience has led me to decide that I won't be returning. I hope the management reevaluates this policy for the sake of their customers.
