Amazing pizza! The manager saw that my friends and I were going to wait in the car since it hadn't opened and he let us in early! People pleaser and convenient! I've been 25 times and im not tired of it yet! Keep it up!
Paul is an amazing manager! Thank you for your amazing service and being a great pizza place!
These guys are the best, personal service, exceptionally nice food, friendly professional conduct and nice atmosphere. The owner and his staff is super friendly and helpful, I will never go to Lubbock without paying them a visit, being it to eat or just greet them . We introduced a lot of our friends to this place and all of them agree on that . Thanks Paul, hope to see you soon
My family and I ate there for the first time. The food was great, the cost reasonable, the staff were friendly, and the place was clean. They have food for both those who are on a gluten free diet as well as a low carb diet. We will be back.
Quality ingredients! You can sure taste the difference. The crust is really nice. Non greasy dont feel overly full or feel like I need some pepto after eating. One of my favorite pizza spots in Lubbock. The other being double daves.
First time coming here... well worth it. Perfect size personal pizza. Which you get to create... they also gave out a military discount...their service was amazing thank you for making our time worth coming in..
BRETT HARRIS!! You gave us the best service we have ever had on a date ever! 1. We came close to close and he still took so much time making our quality pizza 2. He gave us a recommendation on almost EVERY item 3. He should be the face of employee service! Thank you so much for the great experience!!!
Never been here before, and I should say, (that's the best pizza I've tasted in awhile. Looking for a great and affordable meal. Try pie five to satisfy your hunger. I know I enjoyed it and everybody else that was there
Fast Fab for personal pizzas. You can customize toppings and it is pretty good, far better than delivery brands. My wife and I particularly enjoy the low carb cauliflower crust.
I ordered delivery through Door Dash about a week ago and had ordered 3 one toppings, unfortunately one was left out. I left a review for Pie 5 on their site and was IMMEDIATELY contacted by Paul, the manager apologizing and wanting to make it right. Not only did he personally deliver the missing pie, he threw in another one. I've been enjoying Pie 5 for years now, and this confirms how great they are even when accidents happen. Thanks Paul and Pie 5!
Best pizza per $ hands down. Best experience is definitely dine in so you can be specific on which toppings and how much of them. Line chefs behind the counter are super friendly don't forget to tip
I tend to come here once every other week or so to get food for myself and coworkers. The food is always done correctly, timely, and wonderful. Never had a problem with this place.
This place Rocks...Hats off to the Manager...he help my family and I...but the Pizza were delicious.....my first time in this place. Yet it was very clean and so were bathrooms..As a food critic and a military family we been to many food establishments across the county, I highly recommend this place...Tell Them Dahlia send you !
Great manager that was polite and helpful. You watch them make your pizza and they were very generous with toppings. Fun place to bring the family.
Extremely fresh pizza made your way! I really liked the way i could build my own personal pizza and that I got to eat it right out of the oven. Everyone should give this place a try because it was really reasonable in price.
This was my first time visiting Pie Five Pizza! I'm not a huge pizza fan, but oh wow!! It was amazing!! Super affordable! Fast!! I will definitely be back with my family!!! Thank you Pie Five for a GREAT first experience!!
First time I tried it. You pick the type of crust you want (thin, pan, gluten free, and couliflower). You pick your sauce they have about 4 or 5. Pick your meat and toppings all for the same price. It was good and fast.
Had never been there before. The pizzas were delicious. The employees were friendly and patient to explain the toppings choices. This will be my future pizza place. Been going about once a week for nearly a year and have always had a great experience.
We love the ability to create our own pizza masterpieces at this food place. Fresh hot and ready to eat. Prompt service and good pricing. We love the variety that they specialize in!
Really affordable food for a fancy pizza place. We bought a full size pepperoni and 2 sets of wings with ceaser salads. It was around $35. The pizza was amazing after a long drive and I luckily ordered and picked up just in time before they closed. They were cleaning up the dining room when I got there. Salad was also yummy and sometimes it's a hit or miss ordering salad anywhere, this salad was fresh.
My grandson love this place. I don't blame him. The made to order pizza is awesome. Pick the kind of crust you want, any or all the toppings you desire and it bakes in about 5 minutes. Just a great, quick place to go for individual pan pizzas.
Still the best deal on a pizza, made your way, and cooked quickly. Staff is pretty friendly and pays attention to how we want the pizza. Rarely have to ask for a table to be cleaned which is great considering how busy they are.
My barbershop quartet eats here once a week, and we have never had a bad experience. Paul is such an amazing guy, and runs the store very well. When we weren’t able to have our weekly dinner there for over a month (due to one of our group having ankle surgery and being home bound), he drove all the way to Idalou to check on her and bring her some pizza, expecting nothing in return. The rest of the crew is fantastic as well, and have always been courteous, and the pizza is very delicious. There are so many options and varieties that you can go a long time without having the same thing twice.
So very happy to see this place is back in business. It lost nothing in the transition. Still ever bit as good as before. Thanks Pie Five. Is this place closed down for good? Very sad to see they are closed for whatever reason. It's certainly not because of the food or service. I absolutely love this place. I have never been disappointed. It's like a Subway, but for Pizza. You get exactly what you want every time. I like lots of veggies, and that is what I get. These are supposed to be personal pizza, but it is very generous. Just my last visit I learned that you can order your pizza well done. I liked that even better, all the veggies were cooked. If you like your pizza a certain way, you can't go wrong here. The employees are friendly and helpful. The manager is a gem. You bet I will be back often.
First time customer. I had really driven for some Chipotle next door, but it was closed down early for July 4th. It was just me and my toddler, and we split a Farmer's Market on cauliflower crust. It was honestly the best pizza I have had in a long time. My toddler even ate two slices and he never eats his dinner. The employees were friendly and the pizza was really ready within 5 minutes. I was very impressed. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I think this would be a great lunch spot on Mondays, since I saw a sign that said on Monday all their personal pizzas are $5.55.
It was my first experience at pie five today; an excellent experience at that. Upon entry, the first thing that caught my eye was how clean the place was. All employees were masked up and wearing gloves. The manager was engaged training new employees. Food looked incredible on the prep end of the line, and tasted delicious coming out of the oven. A place I will definitely be revisiting!
8/20/17 I did not care for their dessert. Personal pizzas are amazing. I love customising the pizza instead of charges for different costs on a huge large pizza. Prices are reasonable for quality. Tables were filthy but restrooms were perfect clean.
The owner Paul is a great guy. We go every Monday for $5.99 special and they are always so happy to see us. They know us by name and sometimes surprise us with a free dessert for just coming in.
Went here about 8pm at night and it was not busy at all. This place is like a subway shop for Pizza and the food was really good. You can choose your own toppings or pick from some menu items. The price was very reasonable and the staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again. I took my pizza home but just a note that the dining area looked clean and well maintained.
My favorite is the hot honey sticky fingers pizza!!
I love the complete customization here. I can get whatever crust, meat, and veggie options I want. Wonderful value since the price is great for everything you can get. The staff is great at allergy accomodation. And I appreciate that the bathrooms and facilities are frequently and thoroughly maintained.
Pretty great place to eat foe smaller size pizza. I wish they offered bigger sizes but the quality in my opinion makes up for it. Love the 5 meat pizza! Always a good experience when we come here.
One of my favorite places to eat. It's the Subway for pizza.
Best. Pizza. Ever! The employees were amazing! It was fast. It was hot! Most importantly, it was delicious and fresh! I had the Ol' Maggie, and the delicious fresh basil that was sprinkled on top after it was baked was the icing on the pizza! Oh, and the sauce was simply to die for. Eat here, you won't be disappointed!
Eat here at least 3-4 times a month. Love the make your own pizza! Ingredients I want, the way I want. Fast, easy and delicious! Everyone that works here is always friendly and accommodating. They have rewards program to earn points towards pizza. Download the app on your phone. Easy to earn and redeem. Simply scan barcode on every visit. Refillable soft drinks and tea. Dessert pizza slices sold. As well as individual salads.
My first time here but it won't be my last. The pizza was perfect
I eat gluten & dairy free and my experience at pie five was beyond phenomenal! As soon as I requested a gluten free crust, the employee immediately removed his gloves, washed his hands, put on a new pair of gloves and began assembling my pizza on a clean tray to avoid cross-contamination. Not only was my service experience amazing, but the pizza itself was AMAZING! I will be back asap
They accidently gave our order to someone else on a togo order. It did take awhile before it was noticed. Paul the manager not only remade our order himself but credited us what we paid. Which was greatly appreciated as after waiting over 30 minutes i was getting little upset as we needed to get on the road. We always eat here in lubbock when we come as their cauliflower crust is awesome. And being gluten free, we have nothing but dominos where we live
Didn't know they only do personal size pizzas but trust me its so good and reasonable priced loved it
I just ate there for the first time and had a totally vegan pizza Oh my God finally a place that will cater to what I want. Delicious
All of the employees here were helpful, patient, and sooo friendly! It's a little pricey, but it was fast and the food was great!
Best pizza and staff ever!!! Clean and welcoming environment too!! I come to Lubbock for doctors because I became very ill last year and my food options are limited! The staff went over and beyond to read the ingredients in the gluten free crust..changed gloves and made sure there was no cross contamination! I've never been somewhere that they care that much..outside of our hometown!! Love this place! I will definitely be back! Thank you Lacy, Ava and Jared for going over and beyond!!! The manager visited with us as well.. Absolutely amazing!
Amazing pizza. Had the parmesean stuff crust. Was the best pizza I ever tasted.
Paul and his team are absolutely remarkable!!! Top rated customer service! Probably The Best personal pizza we have EVER had!!! Thanks for our lunch! :) -Alicia
Chill atmosphere, staff was very friendly and happy to have me there. Pizzas were very good. Thin crust was nice and crispy and there's plenty of options for toppings.
My wife and I ate here together and the food, price, service, and atmosphere were great. I have a sensitive stomach and any outside food would normally make me sick however, I felt great after eating here. The prices are great especially for us colleges students. Everyone working were nice and cheerful. It felt like a great place to hangout and will be telling my friends about it. Totally recommend this place.
Paul and his crew are wonderful! Especially when it comes to food allergies (ie wheat, gluten). So far (knock on wood) I have yet to get sick because they are careful not to cross contaminate. They always place my gf pizza in a box, away from the non-gf pizzas. We travel to Lubbock monthly and always make time to stop in and grab a gluten-free pizza. Ready for a Pie Five Pizza in Amarillo!
While the pizza was very good DD and the staff made the experience a pleasurable one. I have a significant dairy allergy (not intolerance) and DD instantly was on top of it. She made sure gloves were changed, cutting utensils were swapped for fresh ones and she even brought me out the bag of dairy free cheese to check (Daiya for those wondering). Just an over all pleasurable experience when eating out can be very difficult. Thanks for making my lunch out a pleasant experience ladies!!
The food here is exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The service is notably professional, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Prices are reasonable, providing good value for the quality offered. Overall, this place is highly recommended and has earned a special place in my heart.
We had the Five Star pizza...AWESOME!!! The toppings were just perfect, the thin crispy crust was excellent, and the young lady that waited on us made this a very pleasant experience for our first visit here. We'll be sure to come back and try some of their other pizzas. Thank you for such a tasty lunch!
the food was amazing. it's cool getting to watch them make your pizza. bathroom was nice. they have a touch-free handle to get out which is nice. you do have to unlock the door with your hand which I think was the only thing I didn't like about it because that defeats the purpose of the touch-free handle.
Nichole helped us on our first vist and was super friendly. Its really cool to be able to build your own pizza with any toppings you want. Its also super fast. I kinda like my pizza cooked a little longer so thats why 1 star off. I think it would make the flavor better. My wife loved her thin crust. I would come back.
Colby was fantastic and very attentive to my son's gluten allergy. He changed his gloves and got different pans/utensils. We've never had an experience like this one before and we're so grateful.
The pizza was really good but just a bit pricey for me. I had to wait quite awhile for breadsticks and was disappointed that no ranch or marinara sauce was offered until I asked as I was leaving the store.
Great place for a "Build your own" pizza. The pre-built options they provide are great.
First time and it can be a little confusing. You pick your crust and your cheese, then your toppings. They have some regular pizzas on the menu but I prefer individualized pizza. It was really very good! I don't eat pizza much, because of carbs but the thin crust really is thin.
So far this is one of the best pizzas I have had here in Lubbock. So I only gave it 4 stars because it's not the best I've ever had. But all the ingredients seem fresh and it's efficient fast I will go back. Well I've been back 3 or 4 times and it's pretty consistently good.
Had delivered pizza so did not see the facility. Interesting all personal sized pizzas. Nice selection of toppings. Pizza was a little salty - not sure if it was the sauce or the magic dust - ? Delivery service to our hotel in about 30 minutes via 3rd party.
I don't deny that the pizza is good, especially the toppings. Which is why it frustrated me immensely when I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza with magic dust on top but I received basically a cheese pizza with one pepperoni and one piece of sausage per slice, and missing the magic dust altogether. The other 3 pizzas were made as ordered with toppings aplenty. I'm not sure what I could've done differently because I order the same thing every time but whatever the case, it's a pretty crappy feeling to spend $50 and get that in exchange.
Personal pizzas made to order Subway style. Choose crust, sauce, cheese and ingredients. I chose thin crust with ghost chili spiced sauce and mozzarella. All the ingredients were bright and fresh. Dinning area clean and employees friendly. Just a few knocks. No beer! A good beer would've been great with the spicy ghost chili sauce. Plus the overall bite was a little salty and again a beer would tame that. Then the crust was not cooked enough for me. So my conclusion is order take home so I can cook the crust longer and pair up my pizza with a beer of choice.
There is a lack of consistency here that prevents a higher rating from me. It's a great concept with a good chance of a great pizza - you select what you want on there like Subway does, and they cook it lickety-split. However, depending on who happens to be handling things on the other side of the glass, you can end up with varying degrees of care or expertise. It also seems to be increasingly dirty as time goes on, with prices going up with the level of soil.
Loved our pizza!!! Our first time the employees were friendly, amazing, and very very helpful! The second time it was alright . The guy employee that helped us was amazing but the girl employee next to him seemed like she didn't like us. But it's alright, the food was still delicious. I recommend it!!
Not bad but not great. They have fresh ingredients and toppings which is good but the thin crust is more like a saltine cracker. The restaurant is relatively clean but I did notice flies buzzing around. Music is a little loud but that's everywhere now. Plenty of screens for watching what ever game is on. Not my style but it is cheap for what they offer $11 and change for a pie and a large drink is good.
Girl making my pizza was decent, food was great, the rest of the service was horrendous. Waited longer than it took for the pizza to cook to be able to ask for pesto and seasoning on my pizza. My friend wanted extra icing for the cinnamon sticks and the kid says to her "it already comes with it" while she is holding the food. There is also so much cross contamination, if you have any allergy DO NOT EAT HERE. She touched all food with the same gloves mixing all ingredients, the person in front of me got olives and mushrooms I did not but yet the taste and even some particles of olives and mushrooms were on my pizza. Moderately priced. There is no attempt to reduce cross contamination here. Overall I dont mind the cross contamination too much and will probably eat here again but this is not the place for someone with allergies.
The only reason I'm writing this review is because I have just had one bad experience, one that is rather unusual for this location. The girl working the line was rather rude and lathered on about double the sauce that they usual put on the pizzas, thereby ruining the majority of my pizza. One of the workers also had one of the back doors open, making the section of the restaurant we were sitting in roughly 60 degrees. I'm sure the next visit will be better, but I'm going to leave this review up to make a point that this should not happen.
I will start off by saying that we really love the pizza here and the atmosphere is great. However we had a very poor experience with the service. We waited about 30 minutes for our pizza, before I had to stand there and ask them to track it down. They “found” our pizzas in a warmer as they had confused our orders with someone else. When we finally got the pizzas, the crust was soggy. They also did not give us the other things we paid for like ranch. We normally love the food here, but this was an incredibly disappointing experience.
ordered a spring mix strawberry mix salad. got iceberg. they said thats all they have. then it should be removed from the menu. I did receive a refund. the pizza was ok.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The staff were all wearing masks and just as friendly as could be. It was brought to my attention that the menu had just undergone some kind of overhaul and that some recipes had changed. The manager, upon learning it was my first time to the restaurant, offered me a free drink while I waited for my order. And at this point this was a 5-star review. Unfortunately the food itself fell a little flat. The pizza dough was dry with a consistency like refrigerated bread and was devoid any kind of seasoning or flavor. The regular red sauce was sparse and sweeter than I had been expecting and in turn overpowered the rustic undertones. The cheese was nice and chewy with a rich flavor, but just like the sauce, sparse. The toppings were surprisingly flavorful, but would really benefit from being left in larger chunks as the homogenous slurry of minced meats didn’t have a satisfying mouth feel from bite to bite. Overall It wasn’t terrible and the problems certainly were not with the staff, but I expected more from such a highly rated restaurant. Especially considering I could have enjoyed the same quality for a fraction of the price in the frozen goods aisle.
They have recently raised their prices. I have gone to Pie Five since they opened, and although I felt their prices were high for such a small pizza, it was also good and fast. Recently, they have raised their prices by .50 cents and I felt it was just too much for such a small personal pizza. My husband wanted to go there and I warned him it really was not worth it anymore but he insisted. So we went, and I was shocked that the pizza crusts were less than what they had been before. The little girl ahead of me had over an inch of pan around her crust, and my pan pizza had no sides like it was supposed to. I have decided not to go back - it just is not worth the price they are asking anymore.
I just had to throw away my $15 gluten free pizza because the lady decided that gluten free dietary requirement meant it was a personal preference and it was okay to cross contaminate my pizza by cutting it on the same board as all the other gluten pizzas. I’m sorry, I don’t feel like being doubled over in pain and on the toilet the rest of the day. And I won’t be back, because this place is obviously not gluten friendly.
I got the pan crust build your own pizza. Big mistake. The crust tasted like a frozen pizza. Dry and like cardboard. I really wanted to like this place, but it just didnt do it for me. I also had the bacon cheesy breadsticks and once again the crust was like cardboard. The flavor just wasnt there. I would definitely go to urban bricks instead of this place any day.
Love the options the place has to offer and used to come here a lot, but with the new Texas changes to no longer requiring masks, this food establishment does not require masks or distancing of patrons. Aka while standing in line for food there may be a family with no masks coughing and hacking standing 1cm behind you. It would be nice if they required masks during a pandemic.
The amount of stars by other viewers really baffles me. If you want to get screwed by the price & eat garbage, then by all means, keep eating here. This is by far the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my almost 33 years of living. The frozen Totino’s pizza tastes better than this place! Do not recommend to even my worst enemy.
I walked into the establishment to pick up my order and was completely offended by the worker who said to me "I assume that you are here for Door Dash." As an African American person this was completely racially motivated as he did not make the same comment to the white woman who came in after me. I will not be returning to this establishment. This racist profiling cannot be tolerated. Pizza was mediocre so I can get mediocre pizza without the racist commentary elsewhere.
Disappointed is an understatement. Would NOT recommend. Ordered from several different places for a birthday party. Meticulously planned out-where to order from first and where to pick up from and in what order and everything. I ordered from here first as it was gonna take the longest to be ready. 330 to be exact and ready for pick up at 418-for a kids pizza (the birthday girl), one personal pizza, Cinna sticks and garlic bread- made a few other orders and then waited a good half hour before I set out to pick up. Every other place first because again this one was to take the longest. No problems anywhere else, food hot-ready when I arrived... Until pie 5. Disastrous. Not only had my order not even made it to the oven yet but the majority of the workers were standing around doing nothing. There was confusion as to what order was to be sent with doordash and what order I was there to pick up, contamination of ingredients-everything mingling with everything else... What about allergies? Overly powerful bleach smell by the drink station with standing sanitizing bucket within reach of the edge-a kid could have reached this easily. I had to wait another 30 minutes after arriving which in turn ruined every other order that I had just picked up for this birthday party. I had already given them 55 minutes! When I finally got the food and made it home, not only was every other order cold but the pie five was next to uneditable. An hour and twenty five minutes total they took and couldn't even manage fresh cinnamon sticks or bread sticks. You could literally knock them on the counter, sounded like rocks. Sucks being one of the only places that has options for all diets, this was a family regular. So much business lost. Eat here at your own risk, I for one will not be back. Too many other options to even deal with this kind of nonsense. Do better.
I ordered from Door Dash and I paid $15 (before door dash fees). for the smallest pizza I have ever seen. I then paid another $15 for 10 of the worst Lemmon Pepper wings I have ever seen. I asked for blue cheese and got ranch on 2 sauces. Horrible, Dominos or Pappa John’s is better. I was searching for a good pizza. Very disappointing and will not order from here again.
I love this place, it’s normally when on the best places to get pizza from. However I’m not sure what happened today. Their was a male staff in there. Touching his nose and not washing my his hands and touching peoples pizza. We asked a manager in a blue shirt to ask him, to change his gloves or wash his hands. He did not say anything, these employee went on to touch our pizza with no gloves with the same hands he was touching his nose with. My husband then Asked the employee to remake the pizza he did, he was very polite about remaking the pizza. Angelica did an amazing job, she changed her gloves every time, and I was very polite.
I saw some amazing photos of pizza that looked great, so decided to try this place via Uber eats. We are from out of town and usually go to the same place, but wanted to give a new place a try. The pizza was overpriced for what we got. Very small. Both gluten free and regular was very dry like it didn't have any sauce. The gluten free crust over cooked and just a udi's crust. Ended up being like a cracker, but was still charged extra for it. The salad didn't have all of the stuff it said that it should from the site. Just a waste of time and money.
Im military Veteran so I walked in there on Veterans Day. On their website they were offering one free personal pizza for all Veterans. I asked about the offer and got looked at by the employees like I offended somebody. I told them about the offer that was on their website. The employee asked the manager on duty and said there was no offer for any veterans on Veterans Day. Which wasn't a big deal. It was just the attitude it seemed like I got from asking about it.
I only leave reviews when it’s bad. Normally Pie5 is a good place to grab a pizza but tonight I went in at 9 o’clock and they were all ready to go for the night. They put way too much cheese, just kinda threw it on there. They didn’t let the pizza go all the way through the oven, which resulted in a pizza that was still soft. It was just a horrible experience. Would not recommend going in after 8 as the level of service declines drastically.
