The owners are gracious and friendly and very happy to explain anything. The food is wonderful, far better samosas than any restaurant in Fresno and the goat curry is to die for! Fresh, fragrant and delicious! Order well ahead and they will have what whatever you would like. We are trying the tandoori fish next time!!

We absolutely loved our experience there. We walked in for our order and got to browse the store while we waited for our food. Their selection was awesome and the woman who helped us, Mita(sp?) was outrageously kind and hospitable. We took our food to go, I almost gave them the five stars before we ate our food. The food makes me wish I could give even more stars! This place will definitely be a staple for myself and my family.

At the Punjab Market in Madera, California I picked up some frozen garlic naan which was delicious when heated at home. The take-out Chicken Curry, made extra hot per my request, was delicious! No more trips will be needed to Fresno for great Indian cuisine!

Neeta & Surender have a fabulous little store with a variety of Indian products and spices. The food in the restaurant is delicious and hot! Our favorite is the butter chicken with garlic nan! This is a great family owned business and a gem for the community of Madera!

3.5 stars ⭐ We tried tadka dal, baingnan bhartha, kadai paneer with tandoori roti, rice and raitha Food tasted good and felt less greasy. We also took some aloo paratha to go and they are not the biggest you can get in dhaba but decent sized ones Chai was $4 which felt a bit steep in price and wasn't tasting good either. We only tried the vegetarian dishes there Good place to stop by on the way to Yosemite as the other restaurant in Merced (taste of India is horrible) It's located inside a grocery store with limited seating

The Gentleman asked me if he could help me and when I asked about food he handed me a menu. After I ordered he disappeared, and came back once my food was ready. It was delicious. Very good food. I saw no sign of a kitchen, or a resturant aside from seating within the store. It was a surprising place and I hope to stop here again.

Staff is good.I ordered fish pakora but I don't like it too much because it was made up with breadcrumbs and PUNJABI FISH PAKORA never comes with breadcrumbs.It only comes with coating of BESAN(Gram Flour) only.Fish pakora i really don't like.I am a really good JUDGE of fish pakora because i am eating it from last 30 years.Believe me or not.. So please don't use Breadcrumbs..Please..

Owner came out and started yelling and telling us stuff because we parked in front of his store even though we were conducting business on that shopping center. Parking does not say that is exclusive for his store. If that’s how worked up he gets over a parking spot I can only imagine the service.
