Está genial tener una cafetería donde poder comer cosas sin gluten en pleno centro de Madrid. Tienen muchas opciones de pastelería con muy buena pinta. Los bizcochos están buenísimos y aunque es caro, ponen una buena ración. El café también es muy bueno y el cupcake de plátano y chocolate, aunque un poco más seco, bastante rico también. Cuentan también con opciones saladas como sándwiches y ensaladas y pastelería vegana que espero poder probar en otra ocasión.

Hace años que voy en esta tienda / cafetería. Un desilusión total. La vendedora muy poca amable. La tarta de chocolate / avocado con un sabor a tierra sin ningún sabor a chocolate. Y casi 6 € el trozo individual, cuando a este precio esperamos algo bueno y sabroso

Edito mi reseña tras haber ido ya varias veces y poder sacar mejores conclusiones: Cafetería con todos sus productos sin gluten y, además, algunos sin lactosa, veganos y sin azúcar. Sólo la recomiendo si vas a pedir algo para llevar o si vas a ir en horario donde el local esté prácticamente vacío y vayas sin prisa porque son MUY lentos. Tanto en el horario de desayuno, como en el de merienda, estuvimos más de 15 minutos esperando a que alguien nos atendiera (algo que hicieron después de exigirlo expresamente) y luego estuvimos esperando 45 minutos para que trajeran nuestro pedido. Entiendo que tarden un poco más si pedimos un sándwich o unas tostadas y lo tienen que preparar, pero si pedimos algo de pastelería que ya tienen hecho y no tienen más que emplatarlo, no tiene sentido que tarden tanto. En todo este tiempo muchas personas abandonaron sus mesas y se fueron sin si quiera poder pedir y otras aún habiendo ya pedido. Uno de los días pedí para llevar un mini cupcake de red velvet y otro vegano de chocolate de tamaño normal. Ambos estaban muy buenos, pero me costó sacar el de chocolate del envase en el que lo metieron por ser muy estrecho y acabé manchándome con el frosting innecesariamente. Creo que no es el envase más idóneo para meter un cupcake cuando además no te dan una cuchara ni nada para comerlo con ella aunque sea. Otro días que fuimos, pedimos de nuevo el cupcake y algunas tartas y estaban muy ricas. Sin duda las recomiendo porque tenían un gran sabor, en ningún momento notarías que son sin gluten o veganas. Los precios los veo bastante altos para el tamaño de los productos. Sé que las opciones sin gluten suelen ser más caras que las normales, pero lo he visto un poco exagerado. Aún así, todo estaba rico.

Es siempre una opción perfecta para quienes no pueden tomar gluten. Y para los que sí podemos, suele estar todo muy sabroso, recomiendo los muffins y las tartas (los macarons no están muy conseguidos pero se dejan tomar). Está ubicado en un sitio muy céntrico de Madrid y está genial para pedir algo para llevar.

Vegan chocolate cake was heavenly! Went back our last day in town since we were so impressed, the vegan chocolate cake was sold out so we ordered the carrot cake and a chocolate cupcake. Both were dry and not that great. Didn’t seem worth the calories to eat. Disappointed that it was so drastically different. If you go, highly recommended the vegan chocolate cake, but be wary of other options.

Celicioso Bakery is a charming little cafe bakery offering a variety of baked goods including cupcakes and other sweets. There is also a dine in area which has a number of tables. My cake and coffee with both very good. I was disappointed with the wait time for service. This was due to a large number of customers and relatively few servers. These servers were also working at the retail counter. They were doing their best, but were stretched way too thin. Otherwise, it was a nice experience and the server was quite pleasant.

Very friendly staff that are courteous and helpful all with a smile. The owner should be proud of his/her staff. I just wished someone spoke English fluently as this is a tourist area. I bought the lemon cupcake (2.80 Euros) late evening. The outer icing was hard at this time because I suppose it has been on display since this morning. However the inner icing layer was still good and sweet ! The cupcake itself was somewhat hard and perhaps that is because the cupcake has been on display since this morning, which can significantly influence moisture content in cakes. I will come back again but probably best to buy it daytime instead not so late when they are closing already.

Visitaba el lugar siempre que venía a Madrid, lo encontré deteriorado y sucio(mesas sucias y sin clientes ). La comida bajo su calidad. El sandwich ok pero macarons y muffin no lo intenten malísimos. Con lo que salen💰😳. Algo me llamó la atención siempre hubo fila para comprar y comer ahí, ayer no había nadie .. por algo será. La gente ya no quiere tirar su plata porque hay otras opciones de calidad en la ciudad.

El lugar estaba muy sucio. El servicio era lento. Me pedí una manzanilla y la tetera eataba sucia por donde sale el aguac y alrededor. Dentro de la taza encontré algo raro que no sé lonque era y mi cuchara venía con algo verde pegado. Les dije que me lo cambiaran, y me lo cambiaron sin problema. Una de las chicas se disculpó. Al ir a pagar se ve el interior de la barra, y no estaba muy ordenado ni limpio.

Ok so this review is very interesting. I had the triple chocolate cake (vegan) and it was very good. My husband had the avocado toast which was a HUGE deception given the price: it’s basically toasted bread with avocado on top. No tomato no extra taste no nothing.

The place looks really nice and servers were friendly. However, I hate to say that I did not like the cupcakes. The cupcakes were really hard, dense, tough, and very dry. I literally choked when I tried to swallow my first bite. My friend was about to perform the Heimlich maneuver on me. I don't have a gluten allergy but I wanted to try these since these cupcakes were gluten-free. I've never had gluten-free cupcakes before so I wanted to see what the difference was. Maybe gluten-free cupcakes are suppose to resemble dense hockey pucks? For me personally, I did not like the cupcakes.

Hoy domingo, 1ro. de marzo fuimos a tomar una infusión. Es ran patético ver los "CARETOS" tan desagradables de las tres dependientas, que daban ganas de irse. Nos quedamos porque habíamos quedado, con un par de amigos. Sería muy interesante que alguien les diga que atender con esas caras llenas de enfado, agrías, espantan. Los dueños deberían tomar en cuenta, nos acaban de contar que un día de esta última semana, entraron tres y como entraron se fueron, no les gustó las caras tan desagradables y que una de ellas, no paraba de cogerse el pelo. Les dio asco.

Super decepcionante :( yo soy celíaca y me encanta el celicioso pero todo estaba congelado, duro y sin sabor. Los huevos poches parecían duros, el aguacate estaba negro y el pan se deshacía y estaba frío. La ensalada de quinoa parecía pasada. Super decepcionante.

Porque no se puede poner menos nota. El servicio nefasto, 4 personas trabajando dos mesas en la cafetería y han tardado una barbaridad en lo ponernos las cosas. Y para colmo le han traído a mi padre una magdalena con leche y él es intolerante a la lactosa y se ha comido la mitad , y lo hemos repetido 100 veces. Todo muy sucio y cuando vas al baño te encuentras cucarachas . 4 personas sin hacer nada y todo así , el dueño/a o jefe/a se lo debería de mirar.

Mi marido pasaba por ahí esta mañana, y, para darme una sorpresa ha comprado 6 Cupcakes. La primera y última vez. No sé si eran de ayer, pero la magdalena seca y los rellenos eran como azúcar duro de colores. Ni lima limón, ni banana con chocolate, ni nada. Lo siento por mi marido y por los 22 euros.

Una de las empleadad estaba resfriada. Se sonaba y tocaba la nariz de forma constante. Le sugerí que se debía lavar las manos y me contestó que ella no servía comida. Puede ser, pero el espacio de mostrador es tan pequeño que pongo en duda que no haya entrado en contacto con menaje o comida. En fin, me voy con la porción de red velvet a medio comer (no estaba rica) y con sensación de mal servicio y mala higiene del local. Hacía mucho que no venía por aquí. Y seguro que no volveré.

No volveremos más. Las dependientas que nos han atendido esta mañana no tenían ninguna gana de trabajar. No han sido nada amables. Además, los baños no pueden ser más cutres. En el de mujeres no había jabón, el dispensador de papel de manos estaba precintado con cinta aislante… Las tartas no tenían buena pinta y algunas estaban expuestas rotas. Horroso este sitio. Para el precio que tiene, no merece ni la pena.

Zona de mesas muy viejo y muy oscuro, me ha dado sensación de suciedad. Estando sentados en la mesa ha aparecido una cucaracha corriendo por el suelo. Y de los baños mejor ni hablar, viejos y sin papel higiénico, ni nada para poder secarte las manos. Lo único decente del lugar el café, es bueno. Pero vamos no volveré a aparecer por allí

“Sándwich Puente Romano”, una auténtica decepción… Este sándwich debería de tener pollo jugoso bien rebozado, salsa de mostaza, bacon, aguacate, rúcula, pesto. Las personas que lean este comentario juzguen por ellos mismos. Soy una clienta celíaca que le da mucha pena como se ha deteriorado tanto este lugar, llevo siguiéndolos desde su apertura, y haberme encontrado esta situación de absoluta dejadez me da auténtica tristeza. El servicio y trato al cliente pésimo, trabajadores sin ningún tipo de ilusión, no miran a los ojos y los tienes que llamar siempre para ser atendidos, a todas las mesas que había a nuestro alrededor les ocurrió. Ojalá volviese el mimo, cariño e ilusión por el cual yo los conocí e hizo que la gente siempre volviese. 🙏

Lo que antes era calidad, ahora es una vergüenza. Mi madre ha pasado por allí para darme una sorpresa y así le han entregado los cupcakes. Es lamentable esta situacion. Con este trato y presentación, ni volvemos ni lo recomendamos. ❌🧁

Be warned of eating here. My friend has celiac deceise and she wanted a sandwich for the next morning b4 our very early flight. She took 1 bite and it seemed off. THE ROASTBEEF SANDWICH WAS MOLDED!!!! We discovered that the sandwich was already past the cad (best b4 use) when sold to us which is crazy. They don't seem to check there products at all on any dates and that's a health hazard for sure. She already took a bite just now and i hope she is going to be ok on our flight. I am extremely upset and pissed off at this place. Do not go here. The cakes are mid too

Do not eat at this place. The one star reviews slow were not lying.I thought the previous reviews were lying so I decided to try it for myself. I am gluten sensitive and so is my daughter, so we decided to have a breakfast pastry and a small coffee on one of our days here in Madrid. The girl behind the counter spoke to us over her shoulder to tell us to wait. No welcome or question about what we would like- to eat in or take away. She ignored our presence for 15 minutes and then told us to take a table. We sat down for 20 minutes being ignored but patient and watched as she preceded to sit and take the order of customer who came after we did. One lady behind us send back her food for being cold and said they had to re do it. I took that as my sign to leave. I can feel and see the disrespect but I did not want to put with bad food on top of everything else. It was clear that the management of this place does not have a good grasp of customer service or the restaurant business. So we took our business elsewhere. Be Warned.

Walking past on the way to a nearby shop, the tasty cakes in the window caught my eye. Wish I had kept walking - never going to stop here again. Painfully slow service despite three girls working at the time of my visit. Pity, because the cheesecake tasted great (however, it was served on a warm plate, no attention to basics). Was told to sit and my order would be taken, but it was clear that they prioritised customers who were ordering take out. I was forced to wait too long. After looking into space, patiently waiting, numerous staff went past my table all the while they were “looking busy”. Coffee tasted good even though I had to ask for the milk. I asked at time of ordering for milk in my coffee but they missed it - again no attention to basics. Price of coffee was reasonable, price of cake was not. I adore drinking coffee, I adore visiting coffee shops……but not this one

One day apart, two completely different experiences. We found this restaurant during our research for great gluten free breakfast and rode 50minutes just to eat there. We went on a Friday morning and the food was AMAZING! We both ordered the pastrami on the gluten free bread and ordered an omelet as well- it came with a basket of fries and it was crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside… the fries were perfectly cooked. In addition, the service was great! I think our server was Alberto (sorry if I got it wrong) and he was so professional and made our breakfast a great experience. In addition we ordered two cakes, also excellent! Well, we loved it so much that we decided to go back the next morning (Saturday morning)- we ordered the exact same thing, which was the vegan pastrami and, as you can see on the picture, there is a distinct difference between the two orders. The pastrami bread was not toasted or pressed, did not come with arugula (as described on the menu and accompanied in the sandwich the previous day) and no fries (again, as written on the menu). I took a bite anyways and it was COLD! The items on the inside were literally COLD! Cheese? Cold and not melted. Not room temperature either… it was from the refrigerator to the sandwich cold! I honestly could not believe the difference and as much as I hate complaining, I had to say something to the server (there were two female servers working this day). Upon talking to the server, I explained that it was cold on the inside, it’s missing ingredients clearly stated on the menu and it was missing fries- she just explained there is a “new cook” and they cook the meals differently. Nonetheless she offered to take the sandwich back to remake it. While waiting we ate the omelette, which tasted as BAD as it looks… runny, undercooked. The sandwich comes back, this time with fries but I was surprised to see it was the same sandwich, lol, with my one bite that I took missing from it- I ate it, I paid for it and tipped the waiter but I honestly felt so disappointed and confused. How did it get so bad overnight? How can a restaurant possibly allow two completely separate plates to leave the kitchen? COLD? I wish I never went back the next day and preserved the wonderful memories from the previous day. Lastly, I have 150+ reviews and it’s rare that I write a negative one. I recommend this place based on my experience on Friday morning but really hope that this restaurant trains their new cooks better to set them up for success.
