Feeling hungry didn't want anything big.But since we live in the area , we stopped in and gave it a try and was not disappointed. Looking forward to eat there again and try something else on the menu, very delicious.
I can't say anything bad about this place. I enjoy myself every time I go. They all know me there so when they see me walk in they pretty much start my order. I never order anything different. So if you're interested try out the pecan Berry salad. I truly believe that McAlister's deserves five stars on everything. I have never walked into that restaurant being dirty and anyway. Bathroom is always clean. They welcome you in the door and say goodbye to you when you leave.
McAlister’s Deli in Mansfield truly went above and beyond for our community. Consetta, the General Manager, and Portia, the Store Manager, were incredibly accommodating and generously sponsored food for our 2nd Annual Pink Holiday Initiative with The Montgomery Legacy Foundation (501(c)(3)). Their in-kind donation of classic sandwich trays, a cookie tray, and salad helped nourish our volunteers as they served with love and care. Because of their support, we were able to allocate more funds directly toward our mission and successfully pack 100 gift boxes filled with essentials to bring joy and hope to breast cancer patients who are newly diagnosed or in active treatment across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. We partner with six hospitals and breast centers to deliver these boxes, and McAlister’s support played a meaningful role in making this possible. The food was incredible all around, and the generosity shown by this team speaks volumes about their commitment to the community. Thank you, McAlister’s Deli Mansfield, Consetta, and Portia, for your sponsorship and heart for giving back. We are truly grateful.
The evening began with the inimitable Brooklyn greeting us with an effervescent smile, professional polite demeanor and a professionalism I found refreshing within the service industry. She demonstrated a clear understanding of the menu options, making recommendations without sugarcoating, and completed the transaction with deft skill, all the while delivering witty disarming banter that set the tone for a wonderful evening. Jaden slid up with the teamwork, delivering entrees and charm and offering options when a change became needed, again with the joie de vivre this whole crew emanated. The two are well matched for this shift. Rounding out our experience was the fearless and peerless Porche. Clearly the leader of the pack, she carried herself as a manager and more a support system for the success of the team and business. She tempered concern for our evening, with praise for her team, passing the accolades to them, where so many might claim it for themselves. This team certainly made us fans, of the meals, the facility, and certainly the experience. What a wonderful experience. Go see them!
Visited on 9/5/25 at 3pm after having a procedure done at Baylor. The cashier was friendly and I was cold and she offered me her sweatshirt while I sat and ate. Great customer service, regret not getting her name, but shout out to her for excellent service !
I absolutely LOVE this location from the moment you walk in they give you a kind greeting. The people who take my order are always so nice and patient while I give them my order. A'Niaa is the BEST. They get your drinks while you pay and the food is super speedy. Tried the new BBQ pork stuff and OMG. The food here is amazing. Always get a spud because they always make sure to load them up. I enjoy every moment I'm in there. By far the best location in the area, totally recommend!
We've been coming to this location for a couple of years. We are always greeting when we come in, the people that take your order are always friendly and respectful. The food is always fresh and tasty, the prices are still decent and the manager usually stops by to check on us. You can't go wrong here.
This is my favorite location because they have a drive thru!! I tried something new today and was not let down! The 1/2 Lemonade 1/2 Sweet Tea is good, but I added the black cherry puree & it's soo good!! I got the choose 2 & tried the grilled chicken Ceasar wrap, 10/10 recommend!! The Ultimate Nachos with chili was delicious! The chili itself was a 7/10 due to tomatoes, I'm picky, lol. Also had to try the Mardi Gras cookie.😋 I'm definitely trying something else new next time!
The food was served promptly in a clean environment. The attentive staff frequently checked in with diners, refilled drinks, and cleared plates promptly. The hot and delicious food was a pleasant surprise. The staff even tipped the pole with the order number to indicate that the table needed to be cleaned.
I haven’t had McAlister’s in a long time. I wanted to give them a try for lunch. I ordered off the website for a pick up order, which was very easy to do. This location has a drive thru window but your order already needs to be placed through phone, app or the website. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the choose two which had multiple choices to pick from. I enjoyed my half Chicago Dip sandwich and half spud. The Chicago dip had Swiss cheese and Giardiniera peppers that enhanced the taste. It came with the au jus to dip in. The sandwich stole the show. I do wish it had more Swiss cheese on it. Unfortunately, My baked potato didn’t have the condiments it was suppose to come with like butter or sour cream.
Food was hot and fresh, but kids pretzel dogs were a little overcooked and mac and cheese was underwhelming. I ordered another mac and cheese kids meal after the initial order I placed and they forgot about it until I went to the counter and asked why it was taking so long. At that point, I had to get it to go because we had a class to get the kids to. Restaurant and bathrooms were fairly clean.
We went here for the first time just the other day. The sandwiches are pretty tasty…definitely a step up from a Subway. They weren’t very filling though and for the price, not really worth it. If you’re going to get a side and a drink, I recommend the chips because the other sides came in really small plastic cups and although they tasted good, there just wasn’t much there. The soda cups were very generously sized, but couldn’t be easily refilled. When we initially were ready to order, one of the older ladies in back was barking orders at the young kids up front and no one was manning the registers. While we stood there waiting, a line formed that went all the way to the door. Eventually one of the girls turned around and just walked away from the group to start taking our order. After ordering, we noticed that one of the tables had something spilled all over it that looked like vomit but was probably soup. A fellow customer eventually covered it in napkins after no one came to clean it. We were pleased with the quick service as our food came out promptly, however one of the four orders was wrong and it was one which had been modified according to a dairy allergy so we had to send it back and wait for them to fix it. While we were there, they proceeded to get at least one thing wrong in every order after ours. Every single group of diners had to walk to the counter and return something to have it fixed. One thing I do have to say though, the staff was endlessly polite about the mistakes and fixed them as quickly as possible. All these mistakes were costing them time to get behind on the line of new orders though. I think we will probably go elsewhere next time even though it was not bad food. The bathrooms were accessible to everyone. I didn’t go inside to see if they were clean. I can say they had the AC cranked up nice and high which was a welcome relief from the triple digit heat.
Food portions were super small, 1/2 sandwich looked more like a 1/4 sandwich. Chicken tortillas soup was missing the main ingredient of chicken. Partner was also dissatisfied, full sandwich looked more like half a sandwich. Ac and cheese looked like it had been sitting out for several hours. Only took one bite and could not eat anymore of it. Today’s experience was not what I am used to for McAlisters deli.
This location in Mansfield has been very bad recently. We have had several bad experiences that I’m sorry to say it’s come to a point where I have to say something. We ordered the choose two and got a half sandwich and soup. The gave us the TINIEST piece of sandwich. I included a picture of the soup container to compare how big it was. Definitely not a full half of a sandwich and they did this for both of our orders. We have also had several orders from here in which they have just straight up forgotten our sides. Have your employees ask themselves “would you be happy to pay for this?”
I know the risk that I take going to any restaurant/fast food joint nearing closing time. However, this truly irritated my soul. I already felt sick and I came here for tortilla soup. And they wrapped it up nicely which i really appreciated. But why would you give me cold soup? Literally cool to the touch where I thought “maybe the wrap keeps the heat out lol” I really was hoping it was at least warm. I opened it to drink it because I didn’t feel well and really needed something on my stomach and I couldn’t even drink it. Please don’t assume I want to warm up my soup at home. And most importantly don’t shut off the warmer or whatever keeps the soup warm at closing not, before I walked in 9:36. Upside, the girl at the register was sweet and the blt was good but I couldn’t eat the pick two if my soup is COLD! That really sucked
This McAlister's is consistently slow, but tonight it took the cake. When I walked in, there was one family ordering and one seated with food. That was it. I walked in at 8:22. I checked my text messages because I received one as I stood in line. I ordered a ruben, potato salad, and an Arnold Palmer. I didn't receive my food until 9:07. My sandwich took 35 minutes, seriously. To top that off, it was very heavy on the 1000 Island, to the point that the rye was mushy and falling apart on top. The sauerkraut was in a lump and not spread at all. It was just a big mess. *No pickle and etc too. There were employees doing side work rather than helping with food. Some walking around on their phones and doing everything but getting food out to customers. I spoke with the manager, and she said those employees were off at 8:30. There was a long drive-through line, and they had one trainee making sandwiches. She did apologize, but it's always slow here - just not this slow. I wonder if it's the owner or the GM who's responsible for such a poor performing restaurant. Either way, the slow service should be addressed. I really like McAlister's, just not this McAlister's.
Had a drive thru order. Got in line waited 10 minutes and no one and the intercom. We drove to the window and waved and everyone ignored us. I finally called the store and someone answered and then one of the girls named Brooklyn came running who wasn’t doing anything but standing at the front line came and said they’re busy and no one wants to work the drive thru or wear headsets….. So why have a drive thru option if you aren’t going to man it. Is it that hard to staff one person in the back doing to go orders? No wonder everyone from Mansfield is starting to go to the Arlington Highlands. Atleast in Arlington they acknowledge you right away.
I had a very disappointing experience at this McAlister’s Deli location. The young lady at the counter seemed more interested in finishing her conversation with a coworker than taking my order. Once my food was prepared and sitting ready, she continued cleaning and spraying counters instead of giving me my order. I had to ask for it. The lobby and drive-thru were both empty, so there was no reason for the delay. Customer service should be a priority, especially when it’s not busy. The same standards during the day should not decline during evening hours. Very disappointing.
Hello, I wanted to share some feedback regarding a recent order. My husband and I purchased two chicken Caesar salads and requested (and paid for) extra dressing, which unfortunately was not included. The salads also appeared to be browning in areas, and each contained only a few small pieces of grilled chicken. For a $30 order, this was disappointing and not the quality we were expecting. I’m hopeful this was an isolated issue and would appreciate the opportunity to have this corrected. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
It gives me great pain to say this because I love McAlister’s….but this location’s food is just bad. Compared to the Cedar Hill and Burleson locations, which are awesome, the portions for the sandwiches at the Mansfield location are a lot smaller. The potato salad and bacon consistently have strange, dirty after tastes. The bacon and bread for the sandwich is consistently cold. The sweet tea tastes incorrect as well. Other than the nice people that work here, something is seriously wrong with this location and their food and I hope it gets resolved.
I came here when it first opened in Mansfield. It was terrible then so I hadn’t been back . I thought maybe it’s better now so I’ll give it another chance . Normally I love other Mcalister’s. So I get home and my jalapeños have mold all on them . I was grossed out so I just threw all my food in the trash . I don’t want anything free either because I don’t want to eat this food from here. 🤮
I’m disappointed however I can’t say surprised. I ordered through my rewards a kids meals and BOWL of broccoli cheddar soup. My child’s mac & cheese was literally 2 spoon fulls and not even half full and the pic is my soup which isn’t even open (still wrapped) and not filled. I just know you have me all the way pissed off. I even tipped eventhough it was a drive thru pick up. I should go back and get a full refund because why are you playing with people like this in this bs economy. You won’t have to worry about me wasting my money again I can guarantee you that.
I just ordered the New Yorker to go and went straight home afterwards to enjoy it. However, I was very disappointed when I opened my sandwich to discover that it was a soggy, lukewarm mess. The bread was soaked with grease and/or condiments that made it very difficult to eat. I was really looking forward to this, so I tried to eat half of it. I don’t feel very well now; I feel like vomiting. I’m gonna have to throw the other half away now, which really sucks given the price. 😞
Order here pretty frequently and rarely have issues. I bought a spicy turkey melt, and even though that's what the box said, that's definitely not what I got. It had the thickest slices of cucumber and tons of olives on it (more olives than meat -like someone dumped a filled container on it). I called the restaurant back when I got to work and they said they would look into getting me a refund but I haven't seen anything yet. Holding out hope but not hopeful.
