Great place for a quick stop! I love the beer battered fish tacos, served street style with a fresh lime and a creamy crunchy slaw. Very nice and accommodating staff. Very clean.

Yeah, Del Taco is like a better Taco Bell, not quite a Rubio's, and none of them are really Mexican food. Mexican fast food, yes. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Yesterday a young lady helped me to find which items on the menu were gluten-free. She earns all five stars for you. I am so happy to find another restaurant with food for people like me! ❤️

Great location, considering it's on its own around the only gas station off the freeway in the area I cannot complain about the service. It's always packed around lunchtime so I don't expect my food to be ready in under 5 minutes and that's ok. Staff is friendly and very informative about thier products. Even occasionally provide coupons to customers. Would eat here again.

Clean, well lit, easily accessible with helpful friendly staff. Like most other Del Taco locations I have been to, the food was great tasting with incredible freshness qualities. If you are in the need for a late evening munchies run, this is the place to get your grub on.

It's Del Taco food is good. Service is good for the most part, just check your drive through orders. Could provide more sauces with drive thru orders and inside but that's just me. Overalls great.

The foods great. The workers are pretty chill. I usually bump my corridors there, while I'm eating some tacos with some friends and they seem to have no problem with it so I enjoy going there on my free time.

I assume the young lady working was alone due to the time it took. Which was not a problem at all. She handled it well and had a positive attitude. The order was as asked for. No complaints.

This is one of those Deltacos where they will put good portions on their burritos and tacos. Recommend 100%. Do not place online orders though. Every single time I've placed an online order, their system does not work and my order never goes through.

I've been coming to this location for over 15 years and since November of 2023 the orders are done correctly ,quickly and prepared to go professionally. Thank you 07/04-07/07 I stopped on these two nights on my way back from work in Coachella, The drive-thru lines are horrendously long in a sense the wait time not the number of cars but more importantly they are operating in my opinion and illegal operation they ask you if you're going to pay with card or cash and they can't calculate the change when you give them a penny to get even change back also they're not honoring the prices on the value menu there's a particular item that says chips with house-made guac for 199 they charged me $279 and 299 respectfully for these items I explained to him what the menu said they did not seem to care they were very flippant when I look for the drive-through window I could see about four employees just standing around I don't even think they have that many working at night but they seem to be up to something nefarious

Got 2 free tacos for downloading the Del app, honestly im in the restaurant business so i wasn't expecting much as i know that often with free and promo items like this you are trained to make these items smaller, i get it. I was so glad i was so wrong so pleasantly and surprised! Probably the best del taco ive ever had! Even Looked almost identical to the pictures, which, again, i dont even expect because never happens, anywher! It was BIG, meat was hot and very juicy, flavorful, lots of cheese, sone of everything in every bite! Looked and Tasted special made and fresh. Awesome job Mecca Locale!

If your looking for fast good crunchy tacos. Then this Del taco is the place. Why? Because the tacos i had here were good.and eye pleasing tasty, crunchy tacos . Look the problem that i’ve been having with other del tacos is that they seem to forget to fill in the taco shell .long story short .basically I get a half a taco and when they are like tthat it usually means you got broken .tacos in the bag. So now you know why i am so excited .the tacos here were good and on point . Plus the staff here at night was very nice and friendly and the service was fast with little to no wait time in the drive-through. I had a great experience here, so I totally recommend this place.

This Del Taco is pretty much the only one we go to, due to the convenience of its location. Over the past several years this location has had various managers, but the other employees are what makes the speed and quality consistently good. The food is always fresh and hot when we get it and we get it surprisingly fast. I've also never seen it dirty - floors, tables, restrooms, etc. Kudos to the staff at the Mecca Travel Center Del Taco! 👏

Fastest service and freshest, hottest food I've ever experienced, bar none! I had just received my receipt, and turned around to wait, and they called my name along with "order ready!" Our order was for three, hungry people too, not just me! These workers need to be rewarded for their hard work and friendly service!

Was good. Just wish they got the sauce packets right. Asked for med and we got mild not the end of the world. Merry Christmas, props to those that work Christmas day.

After a 3 1/2 hour drive through the desert in 115 degree heat, this Del Taco hit the spot. The food was typically Del Taco and the air conditioning was working perfectly. I've eaten in much worse.

The atmosphere here is alright, there is alot of homeless people coming in and out but overall this place is okay, they do have outside and inside diner, and of course restroom but the only thing that irritates me is that sometimes they do not put a sign and after all the order they say" we need exact change and no cards accepting at the moment".

To be fair, I should have expected not feeling amazing after eating fast food, but I had never had Del Taco before. Eating it was an experience. It didn't take too long and I appreciated the variety on the menu. I probably won't go back because it doesn't match my health needs, but it was fun experiencing it once!

Delicious food, and fast friendly! Good for fast food tacos! But… the chicken quesadilla came with No chicken.

Over worked and under appreciated, these employees handle a constant stream of locals and demanding out of towners. High traffic has not compromised this locations quality though service can be visually frustrated sometimes but somehow shines through.

I think the timer needs to be longer, the tortillas need to be warmed a bit longer, the tortillas are a little bit rubbery, not on the heat long enough. You cant rush a tortilla, i wonder if Coachella's tortillas are warmed correctly..?

A good place for buying oats, grain, cereals, and other dry goods such as lentils. Mary said they don’t sell these things at all, and even if they did, I could get a better deal at the supermarket — well, I went to del taco and I told them what Mary said, and they laughed! So who’s laughing now, Mary? The answer is: the guys at del taco to whom I posed this question. I subtracted two stars because immediately afterwards I was jailed and imprisoned for an excruciatingly long stretch of time and during that time, my dear friend Mary passed away before I could tell her about the best place to buy oats, grain, cereals, and other dry goods such as lentils.

I live in Texas where we do not have a Del Taco, so I was excited to have it again after all these years. The food was good, but it was not what I was expecting. I would have rather gone to Taco Bell!!

Del taco generally has the fast food I enjoy. This Del Taco is a high demand, fast paced store that requires skilled cashiers due to it's constant flow of customers.

If you like completely inauthentic Mexican food that is soft enough to be sucked through a wet paper drinking straw, this is the place for you. You can literally eat this stuff with gusto even if you have badly rotted teeth or ill fitting dentures. Heck, leave the dentures out entirely, you'll be fine. Nice and bland too, caters to the peptic ulcer crowd quite well.

Not the best del taco but not the worst. Food is fresh and the place is clean. However if you order something like extra cheese or sour cream you will be charged for it but chances are you won't it. Also the service is super slow.

Waited in line for 45 minutes to order 1 carne asada fries and 1 chili cheese fries just to get home and realize they gave me 2 chili cheese fries. I'm not wasting anymore money on this place.

Would not suggest eating at this location. This place was heavily fly infested during my visit and flies lay eggs in food! Employees were walking around sweeping, but not enough. Walking through the doors there does not to appear to be any fan system that prevents flies from coming through when door is opened. Beverage machine was a mess, lids and trash all over. There is a casino and other food locations if you continue down hwy 86 that are far cleaner. Food was good though, almost did not want to eat it though. Employees are nice, helpful, made order accurate, but unfortunately the person who owns this del taco does not care much about sanitation and fly infestation (leads to eggs, and worse).

Food was good. Service was terrible. We walked in, no one in line. The shift lead was at the front counter, looked at us and said nothing. Ignored us completely. Another team member walked up, said nothing to us. Started talking to the shift lead as if we weren't there. They finished their conversation then asked what we wanted.

All employees had masks on but the manager didn't and was handling the food I asked why she didn't have one on she said because she was on break

Customer service blows told the drive thru guy we had a coupon but wasn't able to print it out but we had the code he then stated we couldn't give him the code and we had to print out the coupon. We order our food paid for our food when he gave us our receipt he had a coupon he told us we had to print out. We ordered food we really didnt want.

Absolutely the worst Del Taco I have ever been to. The food was cold, and the order incorrect, the bathrooms were NASTY, and to top it off, the place is severely understaffed... The drive tru lady kept rushing like if she was trying to reach a specific time limit of having people on the drive tru that I understand they try being so fast that we left opening the food back on the freeway and half of the order was missing to be right 4burritos short I guess gave them free money so so sad ....

Poor customer service. Oder was wrong on several meals that I ordered. I asked for a specific hot sauce and was assured there was an ample amount in one of my bags. There was not. I even tipped thinking they had everything correctly made. Also the fries were nearly burnt, in every meal combo. I got the sense they were not even slightly interested in working.

Placed an order and wasn’t repeated order back and no receipt given! Along with them telling me to wait in a certain spot so their timer wouldn’t go off. Five minutes later, when called to the window and given my order. I wasn’t even told what was given to me and the girl at Drive thru had an attitude, because I was checking my bags. Next time I’ll drive the extra distance to receive BETTER service.

I was just at this location, I was standing in line from 10:54-11:01 and they would not sell me breakfest. I then continued to wait 15 mims for my small order and had numbers behind me served before myself. The restrooms and floors were gross, and as if they are never fully disinfected. The staff was slow and over worked. They need more than just 2 workers on the line. This was my first and only time at this location and becuse of this experience I will not be returning.

Went to this location last night food was cold! They as at the drive thru "what can I make fresh for you?"Fiesta pack burritos werent even rolled just folded like how lazy can you be.Beans and cheese were cold chili fries were cold .They didn't give me my receipt or change till i asked. After 5 hours of travel I pulled into Del with a grumble in my tummy at 5:15pm... Generally a very busy time of day for any restaurant considering it's dinner time for most but much to my confusion and dismay was told at the drive through speaker that they were closed. Every light in the house was on, no explanation was given but it looked as if a staff meeting was going on in the dining room as I drove by. Taking my business to the subway next door which seems to be what everyone else's is doing at the moment. Meeting at dinner time?! Bad choices made here

I had ordered 2 orders of fish tacos and asked if I could have additional lime and they said it would be an additional fee of .75 cents. I declined. All the fish taco tortillas were cold. I asked to have them warmed up. Looks like they just put them on the grill and during the process the lime was charred. See photo attached. Maybe I have high expectations and I expected them to heat the tortillas individually. Is it standard practice to serve cold tortillas?

I hate the fact that they're not even willing to try and just park you as soon as you pay for your order in drive thru, even if there is no cars. There wasn't even any other cars behind. Plus they charge me for a 2 dbl ch burgers and they made them single patties.

Don’t waste your time here. Park and walk in to Chelo’s Burger!! Or drive to Coachella!!! Oh my goodness!!! Double Del Burger did not look like their ad. The one slice of tomato was sliced so thin it was completely see through, the lettuce was literally a “sprinkle” of lettuce. This burger was 95% from looking like what they advertise!!! The soft tortilla for the taco was so cold it was broken in half. I called this location to ask the manager if I have to pay EXTRA for my food to look half way of what they advertise and if it is required for me to heat my own tortilla? NO ANSWER!!! I called multiple times and never got an answer!! Poor quality of Food! The disappointment, is this seems to happen often. I now understand why they do not answer their phone, they know it’s probably a customer with an angry complaint!! I hope the owner or manager sees this!!

They've done a better job at getting orders right but it's so frustrating to have to park to get your food brought out. It makes having a drive thru for convenience pointless. There were literally no cars behind me and they had me park. No customers in the lobby but 7 cars parked up front waiting for food. There is no system to how the food is brought out. I saw my order being walked out to several cars before she asked me if it was my order. Very disappointing.

It’s disappointing that every time I visit this location, my order ends up getting parked. It feels like almost every car gets parked, not just occasionally. Right now, I’m sitting here waiting along with several others. I understand the need to meet speed of service goals, but making parking the standard practice is frustrating and comes across as poor service. 9/7/2025

GenZ’s working weekend, yall need to have older supervision in here. Why my fries have the smell and taste like they was wiped with a rag, or dropped on the floor and picked up. Bad customer service for some weird reason the larger girl with braces always it seems like she’s in a Big mood 😒 No matter how polite you are with them. Service has been horrible as of late. There's been something wrong with every order I've made in the past few months. They almost always add guacamole to my asada fries when I tell them not to, they completely miss an item, or they swap it out with another. Even after they repeat my order to me and I confirm. I ordered a grilled chicken taco today and got a snack taco. I once spent 20 to 30 minutes waiting on 3 burgers when I was the only one there. I was able to see 3 people just standing around through the drive thru window.

The food is mid as you would expect from a fast food restaurant. The "service" is terrible, I've gone there many times and it feels like you're rolling the dice on service. It's either okay or mediocre at best. This last time was straight rude. I had to wait for my order about 25 minutes at the parking lot. While other people who came inside after me walked in and out. When my order was finally ready. The lady shoves the food into my hands. While talking to her friends. Half the time they forget at least one item. The atmosphere is subpar at best. The employees do little to make you feel welcomed. I'll never go to this Del Taco again. I used to work in the fast food industry myself. Never once did I ever feel the need to make a customers experience like that of this Del Taco.

I kindly asked for no ice on my drinks and they handed to me with ice. I then reminded her no ice and she just dogged me so I had to explain to her the reason is because we have a sore throat. Then when i drove off I realized they forgot my fries.
