Really good, sloppy burger! Also got some cheese fries that were tasty too! We were able to dine in, and our order was ready after about 10 minutes. Worth the wait, everything was correct. They were operating a busy pick up line too, so I was impressed.

I really like this place. This place difference from others because they have nice music all the time, clean restrooms and tables. The place is not very big that is why people are not talking very loud and you can spend there a few hours with good mood. The best part I like that they have can for recycle (they love nature). And now about the food. I am vegetarian and there for the first time I ate a burger with mushroom cutlet (smth new). Very delicious. For the drink I had time limited drink- pomegranate. SO so good. You definitely have to try!

Excellent food quality and very helpful and friendly staff. My go to order is always the shroom burger with well done fries. I can say with certainty the shroom burger is my favorite item on the menu. If you have any doubts about this veggie option please try it, it has gained my favor forever.

This local burger 🍔 chain is always delish no matter if we are in Manhattan or Long Island. Burgers are the bomb, and newer sandwich line of chicken is better than Chick-fil-A. Also, have beer and wine on tap from local breweries and wineries. ShackMeister is my favs and is made by Brooklyn Brewing Co. just for Shake Shack.

I will give you the str8 truth! In early 2000, I went to my first Shake Shack, in Brooklyn. I was disappointed. Close to 20 years l8r, I happened upon THIS ONE, on Rt. 110. My views changed, and I was very impressed, from food to service. But the BEST part of the experience, is this young lady, in the photo. Her name is Michelle. And she is a Darling of a worker. Though she doesn't have to, she caters to me & my son, upon every visit. She even remembers my name. Michelle TRULY intensifies the experience to a different level. And I must say, she is a TRUE, model worker. I pray she stays as long as the doctor allows me to eat burgers! 🍔 😋

Came here in the middle of a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see that all everyone was being served in a very timely fashion. This is your typical Shake shack experience, quick service, tasty food, and pretty easy to get to as well and located near two relatively big malls. Would definitely recommend this location for anyone in the area looking for a quick bite. Added bonus that there is also sitting inside and outside and the bathrooms were particularly clean when I use them. Edit: we did wait a while for the food but I was distracted cause I was watching a game but in reality we waited close to 15 minutes for the food. Not a big issue if you’re staying to eat.

I can't believe I spent over $14 for a small cheese burger with bacon and small milk shake. Tasted good but not worth that much. Was still hungry afterwards. I bumped up my rating because of the excellent customer service provided to me by both online and in restaurant employees.

Had the two new Korean burgers but they didn’t really give the Korean taste. Would prefer the regular burgers. Still loved the strawberry shake! Kind of expensive tho.

My overall experience here was good. The burger itself was much bigger than I thought it would be and the beef is definitely the star here. The bun is very soft and doesn't really hold up to the beef inside the actual burger, but I like it and prefer the potato bun over a white bun. I also got the cheese fries which were good. The cheese sauce is actually good quality you don't get that chalky powdery taste, it taste fresh. I deducted them a star because I couldn't really taste the shack sauce at all not even sure if it was on there to be honest. But I'd still go back because it was a good burger and the beef they use is good quality.

Very rare these days you get that out of a large corporation! Well done shake shack! Dont order delivery from here. Food always cold. This time the Drinks missing. Called the store and no one picked up all night. Called the Uber driver who this store partnered with basically not their problem. Even tipped her $10 bucks!!! Said they didn’t give her drinks…on the receipt had the drinks…no cares to check that? As I said something goes wrong…can’t contact anyone for issues..

The gentlemen at the counter was very nice. Whether its sunny out or raining good light comes in through these giant windows. Food also came quick.

So far so good! First time here, but I like what I see! It's spotless clean. The line moves very quickly. There is an app so you can order in advance and have your food waiting for you. The menu is simple - focusing on burgers, hot dogs, fries, and milk shakes. They also have chicken sandwiches if beef isn't your thing. The "chicken shack" is fried chicken with lettuce, pickles and buttermilk herb mayo on a bun. That's what I had and it was excellent!! And.. they have a "chicken dog" - which is actually chicken sausage (apple and sage) on a hot dog bun. Toppings include lettuce, tomato, pickles, mushrooms, BBQ sauce (and of course ketchup, mustard, and mayo). The fries are "crinkle cut". Cooked perfectly golden brown and available with cheese on top. The shakes come in a variety of yummy flavors - including chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, black & white, coffee & salted caramel. They have frozen custard - dense, rich, creamy ice cream made fresh throughout the day. They have a beer selection consisting of about 5 different micro brews. I think we have a new favorite lunch place!!! :-)

Overall, no issues. Order was correct. Food tasted delicious. Service wasn't horrible. Atmosphere was clean, but very disorganized. Probably one of the most disorganized take out restaurants I've ever seen. Maybe it was a fluke because I went to grab some burgers on Valentine's Day. There were bags for Uber, Lyft, and normal customer pick-uo everywhere. I repeat, everywhere. Even the ordering counter was hard to find because of all the bags. But again, the order was correct. Food tasted fresh. Service was friendly, but they had a hard time helping to find my bag.

Pre-corona virus review. I've been to a bunch of Shake Shack locations in the LI area but the Melville one is one of my favorites. Of course the menu is what everyone knows it to be, and the food here is consistently good just like other locations. I do like this one since the seating area is pretty large, it's clean and I like the large parking lot. They get the food out pretty quickly. Never had any complaints so I guess I'm lucky since there seems to be some subpar reviews of this location. Hey, it sure beats McDonald's, right?

2 double cheese burgers one fry 2 shakes $37.60. Food was good. Shakes were good. Not great but good. I read previous reviews decided to check it out. Will not be back. For me the food does not justify the price. They give you a buzzer to sit and pick out your condiments while you wait. Okay experience in the glass enclosed fast food dinning area. The menu offers hot dogs and dessert as well as other burgers and chicken. Everything is alacarte. All In all not a bad experience and one I would recommend if money is no object.

This location seemed all in all pretty good. The restaurant is clean and using the order station was easy. Service from the employees was not the greatest as is the trend in todays market. Simple needs are not being met and customer care is met with looks and none verbal facial expressions by the cooks and food preparers. Lastly, the food preparations were very sloppy. My burger and several other in our order were half way off the center of the bun and there was no pride in the final product. For my family spending approximately 200$ here today would expect better.

We ordered chicken sandwiches, and while the chicken was cooked well, they had a strange aftertaste, like old oil. We think the restaurant should check how often they change and clean their oil. Unfortunately, wouldn't try this spot back anytime soon because of that.

I ordered the Shack Stack: it is a shroom burger (fried portabello mushroom and cheese) that sits on top of an angus-beef cheese burger. The shroom burger was quite tasty. I separated it from the sandwich and ate it by itself. Next time, I will order the Shroom Burger itself. The angus cheese burger tasted ordinary. I would not order it on its own.

Over-priced if you ask me. I visited the new Shake Shack on 110 in Melville on Tuesday 3/20/18 and I ordered the Chick'N Shack, Fries and a beer. There was something wrong with the chicken sandwich and I couldn't figure it out. The chicken inside was fine, but the fry batter on the outside was really dark, almost burnt. It didn't taste burnt, but it didn't taste right. Maybe the fryer oil was dirty or turned up too high. I wasn't happy with the sandwich. The french fries were good though, but they're probably cooked in a different fryer. The Brooklyn Shack-Meister Ale was the best part of the meal!

Saturday night at 8pm. Not overly crowded. Burgers are comparable to Burger Fi. Easy to see right off of Route 110 in Melville servicing Huntington and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Reasonably priced. Plenty of parking. Long lines but it moves quickly. We will definitely be going back.

This past weekend we ordered some delicious burgers from here. One of them was supposed to have a gluten-free bun, because I have celiac disease... and they packed my food together with food containing gluten, which contaminated my gluten-free meal. Please be careful, this is extremely dangerous. It's not a fad, it's not because I want to be difficult... it's for my health, and the health of all celiacs, that we need to order gluten-free bread. It shouldn't be mixed with other food, nor placed on the same tray or in the same bag. It's a delicate matter. I enjoyed my burger, but I had a terrible night with stomach pains for three days, intense discomfort... some people have even worse reactions and end up in the hospital. I advise you to train your employees on how to handle gluten-free food, the risks for people who can't eat gluten, and the precautions needed during preparation to avoid cross-contamination. Thank you, I hope to be able to eat there again without this happening again.

Great food. But all their fountain drinks are 80 percent ice and 20 percent drink. I am paying 4 bucks for this too give me a break.

A piece of advice, small and large drinks come in the same cup. Save the money order a small. Try to deny it shake shack but this has proven true over a couple visits.

*UPDATE* 2 years later and here I am again and it’s no better. Recently went in for lunch and came to find out that there were now no actual human beings you could order from. There were only 3 touchscreens, one of which was broken. One woman had a problem and couldn’t get anyone to help her so she was stuck there. The other took such a long time that we just left because there was a line and no way to order food. I’m very much done with Shake Shack. Well the food was good, but we did not get the hot dog we ordered and instead got… someone else’s leftover chicken bites?? We got a very greasy box that had clearly already been handled with 4 chicken bites in it and they only come in 6 or 10, so… very grossed out.

In my humble opinion, Shake Shack is overpriced and their food is much smaller than their competitors. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken sandwich was very good, but again very small when compared to their competitors. If I'm being honest, the only reason I do visit Shake Shack is because my lady is a vegetarian and loves their mushroom burgers, otherwise Shake Shack wouldn't get a penny out of me. Again overpriced, but that's just me! 🤷

Used to order here regularly, but the last two times got watery stomach upset to use euphemism. The double shack burger and cheeseburger were definitely the cause, because leftovers the next day had same result. They have open kitchen, and from what I've observed the cleanliness there leaves something to be desired.

Don't bother. The hamburger came with nothing on it. No lettuce, no anything. Only condiment on the side was ketchup. Bun was flimsy. Shake, vanilla malt, was good. Noisy, crowded. Most people were crowded up against counter, waiting for take out. Parking was in the back, too far from the entrance.

Very honestly I’m disappointed I’m even writing this… I absolutely love shake shack and been to many locations many times including this one and frankly I needed to mention this because I feel like it should definitely be worked on to continue Shake Shacks continuity of quality. Maybe everyone there now is new or didn’t have enough time to be taught properly. But everything ALMOST everything was unseasoned, minus the fries that had salt atleast… The burgers tasted bland, cheese sauce was bland. On top of that I was given a hard time over a small drink I ordered that wasn’t accompanied with the rest of my order. First I was asked for a copy of receipt. That wasn’t good enough. Then, I was asked for the bag to confirm I don’t know what else. It was just a small soda. I don’t know if I want to go back and try this Melville location after this experience. It’s really so sad.

I used to have good experiences here but it just seems like everytime I go now I am dissatisfied

What a rip off. Burgers taste good but cost a fortune. They are very disorganized there and l saw people arguing about their long waits. Shakes are good but be careful because they don't always fill them. No refills on soft drinks which is ridiculous. The food is decent for a fast food burger place but you don't get much value here. Lines can get crazy too.

Poor customer service. I came in here yesterday after work and there were 3 kiosks to order from that were occupied but a group of coworkers. The line of 5+ people started with barely enough room for us to fit in the restaurant. Instead of any of the employees offering to take orders at the human registers, a group of 5 of them stood around joking about their own uber eats experiences. At some point, the manager called a few away to do some work in the back. No one made eye contact with the crowd, said hello, or offered to help. I worked in the food industry for years and this was deeply upsetting the little customer service and customer experience left in the world.

Basically spent like 98$ at shake shack just for the grilled cheese to be burnt and the lady guarding the ketchup like we didn’t get 3 other burgers anyways 0 out of 10

Unfortunately I believe the hot dog i ordered for my five year old son was purposefully burned because they didn’t agree with our constitutionally right to breathe fresh air, and inability to tolerate a mask. I hope that this wasn’t a retaliation move however we have orders hot dogs from there in the past and this has never happened

Forgot my order after waiting 30 minutes all my friends ate and I ended up eating by myself

We went to Shake Shack to order takeout on August 4 2024 , when we got home my burger was broken apart and missing meat, my wife’s burger had cheese on it but was ordered without, my son’s nuggets were missing ranch dressing packets so he ate them plain. Store is to far from home to go back to make any adjustments that night. We will not be returning,Thanks again for a enjoyable meal.

I ordered single veggie with avocado and no pickles. I went to the counter and informed the staff. Less than 3 minutes she came back with the sandwich. I checked the sandwich at the counter, the avocado was added to the same exact sandwich. Whatever happened to making the fresh sandwich correctly. Well damn I spent $35 with no problem. Why should the customer pay for the mishap of your technology and staff. Not to mention the rude as staff at the counter giving you your order. I’m standing there and he practically pushed me to the side without even a simple apology. Also, you should have staff clean your tables. No one should have to clean their own table to eat at. Went here with some friends and we were very disappointed. The wait time was long, about 25 minutes, and food arrived cold. My friend's chicken sandwich was sloppily thrown together and fell apart in her hands because the bun was soggy (see pic below). We spoke to the manager who was rude and indifferent towards us. I ordered a mushroom burger, and it was greasy and tasted a little off. The cookies and cream shake wasn't bad, but nothing great. The food did not seem worth it to me. A bit overpriced for what you would normally get. I just wasn't impressed with this place. Overpriced, long wait time, cold food. It's too bad because I really expected much better from Shake Shack. I don't understand why there are exorbitant wait times for this food. You're better off going to a normal restaurant for a meal than here- same price but better food, better service and less waiting.

I’m a fan of shake shack burgers but yesterday I was disappointed. I did curbside pickup and when I got my food it was cold I still took a bite into it cause I’m hungry and pregnant when I got more into the burger I noticed it was red. I never knew “WELL DONE” meant red meat never again!

I have never had such a disrespectful and unprofessional experience at a restaurant. The food runner, SKY, should not be working in customer service especially here (management should handle her). First, we sent our burgers back because they were undercooked (we requested well done, but they came out pink). When my other half asked for refills on our Diet Coke, he was handed regular Coke instead. When he politely asked what soda was poured, Sky insisted it was Coke “like you said” — which was completely untrue. What happened next was ABSOLUTELY unacceptable: Sky told my other half that he’s “been up here 10 times” and to “go about his business.” This is outrageous behavior, especially when the mistakes were on their end. Customer service is a NON-Negotiable, and I expect Shake Shack management and the regional manager to address this situation immediately. Staff should never be allowed to treat customers in this manner, especially after repeated errors. I will not let this go until it’s resolved — this level of disrespect is unacceptable for any establishment, let alone one with Shake Shack’s reputation.

If you have any allergies, beware of this place. I omitted cheese from my HAMburger order and when I got it, it looked like they put the cheese on the bun initially but then scraped it off.

Horrible dining experience. All they care about is the grubhub door dash Uber eats deliveries.. restaurant full of drivers crowding dining room and jeopardizing our food and our dine in experience. The police and fire marshall would shut them down due to overcrowding if they were here. Greed and no care for our healthcare

Was making a delivery in the area. Got hungry. Wanted to eat something decent. Didn't want to eat McDonald's or Burger King.. i saw Shake Shack. I definitely regret stopping there.. the chicken sandwich was awful. The chicken was hard. Seriously $10 7 eleven is better..

I feel so sorry for the people who work here. They seem absolutely stressed and miserable, probably because they are forced to work in unfair conditions. Shake shack is yet another in a long list of awful food corporations that charge outrageous prices for mediocre food, while leaving their stores and employees to rot. The food is ridiculously over priced, I paid $5 for less than $1 worth of French fries, and the facility is filthy and carefully designed to be as uncomfortable as possible, likely to get customers to leave as fast as possible This review is against CORPORATE, not the fine people who work at this store & others like it. You need to treat your employees with dignity & your stores with care, especially if you charge these outrageous prices.

I went to this place I feel unwelcome we asked we food well done they didn’t do it one of the burger was supposed to be no sauce ,the person who take our food to the table push the tray and drop our ketchup all over our table he didn’t apologize for nothing they didn’t have a tag name very rude and unprofessional
