Small hideway that's open on Friday nights and on the weekends. Food is great. They are a catering company as well. Stop by and try the homestyle cooking.

Used their team for wedding catering and so pleased! We met Tracey at a bridal show in Dallas and were thoroughly impressed with the various samples she had! Through various phone calls and e-mails, Tracey answered my endless questions and did everything she could to make us feel confident in our decision. She helped us narrow down our options for our tasting when we couldn’t decide, and was honest with us about what things would and wouldn’t travel well to our venue. When we visited for our tasting, she provided a full meal’s worth of all the items we wanted to try, which gave us the ability to get a better picture of flavor and quality. She was incredibly flexible and helpful with special requests and dietary restrictions. All our food (appetizers and dinner) was delicious and Tracey/her staff were beyond friendly & helpful during our wedding. We also hired her staff to stay later and act as bussers for dishware rentals from another company, and they made sure everything was put back the way the rental company required. Almost two months later, people still make comments about how great our food was! I would recommend Tracey to anyone without question.

This was an unbelievable find! The catfish was crispy and not greasy. For sides, I had the Elotes, which had a kick, was citrusy and not drowned in mayonnaise and the green bean casserole, also delicious! My guy had the chicken fried steak and wants to go back and have it again. Everything is made from scratch, nothing is frozen! The staff was amazing and this will be in our rotation permanently! Oh yeah, they are also BYOB!

Friendly Mother and Daughter duo running a fantastic restaurant. Some of the best service you'll ever receive coupled with fantastic home cooked meals with large portions. Yet to try anything on the menu I wouldn't give 5 stars to. Can't reccomend them enough.

Super huge portions. Home made catfish. Elotes. Chicken fried chicken. Affordable. Super friendly wait staff. Sweet Tea is bomb. Kids Grilled cheese was good. All around atmosphere was low key. Renegade by Styx was playing. Nothing but good stuff to say. Definitely a good Mesquite find. #supportlocalbusiness

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Tastebud Temptations! The dinner choices of home made favorites such as steak fingers, green bean casserole, mac & cheese and chicken fried chicken (or steak) made for a difficult decision. While tonight's choices (the steak fingers) were not calorie conscious (cheat day!) They were well seasoned, crunchy and delicious. The menu provides a selection for most tastes and appetites. The grilled vegetable medley served with my companions daily special, grilled sausage, was fresh, crisp and delectable. His mashed potatoes well seasoned and mashed perfectly. The banana pudding served to the table across the aisle looked phenomenal and by the looks of those enjoying this, it was something not to miss.

Really Special to have a quiet atmosphere. Hard to find a good place to visit these days, most places are full of noise and television. This place Sticks to the classicssolid good food, excellent service, and a nice quiet environment to enjoy it all.

This place is a hidden gem. The location is very small and easily overlooked. It is definitely worth a visit if you've never tried it or a return trip if you have.

My coworkers had been telling me about this place for some time now and eventually they got me out of the office to have lunch. Let me just say the portions 😳 are well worth the price. I've never had steak fingers that tender. Could've used a tad more seasoning like garlic or a table blend but overall it was of good quality. The mashed potatoes and bread ...are... phenomenal 🤤. I have a few more items in mind that I'm looking forward to.

My coworkers had been telling me about this place for some time now and eventually they got me out of the office to have lunch. Let me just say the portions 😳 are well worth the price. I've never had steak fingers that tender. Could've used a tad more seasoning like garlic or a table blend but overall it was of good quality. The mashed potatoes and bread ...are... phenomenal 🤤. I have a few more items in mind that I'm looking forward to.

I had heard so many good things about this little restaurant and was so excited to finally try it! I went three separate times and they were closed until finally today they were open! I was very disappointed with everything about this place! My service was terrible, the waitress seemed like she had absolutely no idea what she was doing! The poor girl wasn’t paying any attention to her tables and I noticed many of us sitting without drinks (and some without even menus) while she sat at a table in front. Also the restaurant is very small so you can hear everything going on within the four walls, especially when the kitchen staff began to yell at her in front of customers. This happened TWICE. Not only were 2 of our 3 orders wrong, but the food was TERRIBLE. Some of the most bland food I’ve ever had to consume, except for the “oven roasted vegetables” which were disgustingly covered in a gooey sweet substance that I can only assume was once brown sugar. The only good thing I can leave you with is that our waitress was very sweet and friendly, and seventy five percent of the food was piping hot!

The food was good the manager was awful I was embarrassed in front of others customers she asked me if I had a problem I said yes and before I could tell her anything she i don't have to the eat here this started take my food this with me asking for a spoon for the veggies the serve told me to use the one in the mashed potatoes I told that in my training as manager one pare of tongs for 3 items one for pork and chicken and tong for fish and roast is what I call cross contamination .she ask all tables how was everything she did check with us she went to each table for them to pay we had to to go to the front door. We had a party of 12 i will not return because I was embarrassed and the way I was treat will not recommend them
