I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. The food was exceptional from start to finish. I tried the pappardelle, which were absolutely fantastic—perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. The risotto was equally impressive, creamy and well-balanced, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Also the meatballs and the octopus were amazing. Although the location might make it seem like a typical tourist spot at first glance, that impression disappears the moment you step inside. The restaurant is beautifully maintained and managed with remarkable professionalism. The atmosphere is elegant without feeling stiff or overly formal, striking a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. A special mention goes to the manager, Rosario, and our waiter, Francesco—both were truly outstanding. Their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism elevated the entire experience. Considering the quality of the food, service, and overall ambiance, the pricing is absolutely fair—comparable to, or even slightly below, the average in Miami Beach. Highly recommended.
Excellent experience! We had a New Year’s Eve dinner here and everything was top-tier. Adela was our server and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. We will definitely return. Also, you must try the mushroom truffle ravioli.
We stopped in for dinner o 5/24 after a long day in Miami beach. We're actually staying at the Gale hotel which also houses this restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised. The lemon rosemary chicken dish, picture, was possibly the best chicken I've had ever. And I've eating lots of chicken with mid-level expectations. Both the flavor and the tender chicken contrasting with the crunchy skin on top make this a very special tasty dish. My daughter had the main lobster raviolis which were also exceptional. Plate presentation was very nice. Nahuel was our server and helped provide menu advice, excellent service, and helped make our meal very enjoyable. Prices were in line with Collins Ave expectations. This was a nice experience!
I almost gives 5 stars to the food but it wasn’t amazing, I ordered tagliatelle with frutti di Mari and my wife spaghetti al pomodoro and there were normal , and looks like they were saving on Parmesan cheese, that’s why I didn’t like the service 100%
So enjoyable and a great choice for breakfast, or even dinner. Friendly staff and a great menu. Loved being able to sit outside and watch the world go by as I ate and drank. The food was perfectly cooked each time and Adela and Cristian had a huge passion for their job in making sure you left happy and full. Will return again on my next visit to Miami Beach.
Great service. Everyone is very attentive. The food is delicious. Highly recommend the cacio pepe. Also one of the best caesar salads I’ve had!
The food and service at Dolce Italian were top notch. Food was plated beautifully and tasted great. Service was prompt and attentive. I was made aware that the automatic 18% service charge on the bill was split with all the staff while any additional tip would go straight to the server. Not ideal for the customer. Besides that, everything else was very enjoyable.
Wow! One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to, if not the best. The food was just amazing and the portions are very generous. The Ceasar salad and the eggplant parm appetizers were delicious and very big. The spinach ravioli was very good as well. The key lime pie was a great ending for a delicious meal. Very recommended!
The meatballs with Polenta is amazing! Excellent drinks and service. Beautiful outdoor seating and inside bar area with air-conditioning. Totally recommend!
Great service and delicious food. The saffron risotto with veal was incredible. Large portion and the veal was super tender. Really melts in your mouth. We accidentally ordered a non vegetarian dish for our friend but the staff was kind enough to swap it out for another vegetarian dish
We recent had lunch and seven days later we had dinner. Both days the food was superb. I mean it was really good. I've posted our dinner pictures, risotto osobuco, Truffle raviolis, even a simple margarita pizza. Their lunch menu includes pizza but no pizzas for dinner!

I was having a great night out on Collins and decided to dine in for a quick bite to eat. The service was speedy and attentive. I had the Grilled Octopus and Dolce Meatballs with a glass of wine. Both fabulous!

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Florida. Beautiful space especially outside. Great service and truly delicious food. Pastas are so good.

We had a wonderful dinner. Sat outside enjoying people watching. Service was attentive. Eggplant appetizer was delicious, as was my bronzino entree that came with delicious shrimp. Gem salad was good and fresh. Spinach ravioli was good but not a standout. Would return.
A must if you are looking for a fine and authentic Italian dish. Serve hot the plates are just to die for! Service is good as expected no more no less ! 4 for ambiance as we were on the terrace and there is heavy loud traffic on Collins The tiramisu is a must so save room for desert
Gem salad was excellent with fresh greens and just the right amount of dressing. The garganelli with pesto was tasty and the shrimp was cooked just right unlike most Italian place that overcook them and tough to eat. The waiter was very attentive and made us feel like honored guests. Highly recommended.
The Dolce is a really nice place to sit and watch people. Along with immaculate service and great drinks, the food was impeccable. My wife had the salmon and said it was the best she’s ever had. My dinner was outstanding as well. Definitely worth every checking out. We will be back!
We have had the pleasure of having lunch here twice and dinner tonight. Bravo to Vito, the GM and his excellent staff for creating an outstanding dining experience. Excellent service. Excellent food. We have enjoyed salads, fresh fish and freshly made pasta. We have made Dolci our dining home while we are in Miami Beach. Do yourself a favor. Dine here. You will love it.
Excellent meal of Scottish Salmon (Fennel confit, grilled asparagus, orange segments, and coconut lemon caper sauce), followed by Panna Cotta - strawberry consommé and fresh mixed fruits. Mauro is a wonderful waiter. Complimentary thinly sliced bread and a beautifully flavoursome olive oil to start. Timing of the meal was perfect. While I dined alone, the couple next to me were celebrating a birthday. This fine dining experience worked equally well for me and them. 5 stars. I will return when next in Miami.
Had dinner with a group of coworkers for dinner. The food was amazing, restaurant was great, and service was great as well. We were sat in a back area that held all 12 of us at one table, which was quaint. I had the braised short ribs, with mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, and carrots! Definitely recommend dinning here.
Service was excellent! Food was delicious! Visiting from Chicago, we went twice! They had gluten free pasta and it was the best I've had in almost 9 years. They were very accommodating and I appreciated it greatly. I had the fruit sorbet for dessert and everyone else had the key lime pie and loved it. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the quality of food and service! It wasn't very loud, five of us could hold a conversation without having to talk loudly. The lights were dim, oil candles at the table, it would definitely be intimate dining for a table of two.
The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. My husband and I ordered the calamari, branzino, and the frutte de mar. I'd go back there in a heartbeat. We ended up going to Maxine's Bistro the next day and were shocked at the difference in service, especially because they are only a few restaurants apart from each other. If you're looking for great food AND service, definitely check this place out!
This is the cutest little Italian Restaurant right along a shopping thoroughfare in South Beach, Miami Beach! I personally recommend the patio seating and the Maine Lobster Ravioli. It was expertly executed and served hot. The lobster was cooked perfectly! Oh! And the Meatball appetizer was To. Die. For. If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a MUST for your To-Do list. DARN GOOD FOOD :)
I enjoyed the world-class bolognese at this wonderful restaurant that also featured great service and a lovely vibe. While the selection of wines by the glass could use some improvement, the overall experience made up for it. I definitely plan to return—100%!
Absolutely delicious. Great service. It’s a hidden gem
I went on a blind (sort of) date about a month ago or so and this was my first time at this restaurant. I loved this restaurant, not only was the food superb but the warm welcome from Vito;the manager was so appreciated, the waiter Hestor was so fantastic, excellent & friendly. The service was so efficient. Thank you so much~! This place is great in every way!
Awesome Italian in the heart of South Beach. Right across from the historic Delano, National and Sagamore Art Deco hotels, Dolce offers excellent Italian cuisine. Attentive staff and a nice choice of wines will make your evening one to remember. By the way, Dolce is in the Gale Hotel...
One of the best Italian restaurants in Miami. We’ve been eating at Dolce for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hands down; the breakfast is damn good. And the price is ridiculous cheap when it includes buffet, water, juice, coffee and an omelet. All this for only 18 dollars. Lunch and dinner have almost the same menu. The lobster ravioli is outrageously good. Our waiter, Alexandr, was super friendly and made our dinner one of the best in Miami. This is a must visit in Miami :)
This is an exquisite and upscale Italian restaurant. Has indoor and outdoor seating. We preferred outdoor. The host was amazing and explained to us about the dishes we ordered. The cocktails were optimally prepared. It you are looking for a good Italian place near the South Beach, look no further. I recommend having a prior reservation. The place gets full.
Dolce Italian Grill has a great atmosphere and follows that up with some delicious food and wonderful service. The appetizers were very good and had a nice presentation. The meals that followed were also freshly prepared using quality ingredients. I also really liked the Spicy Raspberry Collins drink! Not too spicy at all so give it a try! I do wish I had some sort of sauce for my Chicken Milanese but it was still very good as were the other meals we ordered.
Highly recommend eating here. The staff is amazing. They even change take linens between guests. The food is amazing. My wife had the lobster ravioli and I had the spinach ravioli. Amos was our server and was very professional and made sure every need was met. I suggest getting reservations because they are usually busy.
I went to dolce for dinner last night and we had and amazing experience. It was our first time here and we had and amazing experience. Nahuel our waiter was great, he gave us good food and wine recommendations. He is really knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. He made our experience 10 times better. Also big shout out to Amos, great hospitality from their part. Would definitely come again.
One of the best meals I've ever had and that's saying something- I'm from New Orleans. Also the best service I've had in all of Southbeach. Ask for Luca. Super chill, laid back, understated atmosphere. Unpretentious staff pays attention to every detail. The Branzino was light and delicate and crispy- simply delicious. I will come back here every visit to SOBE.
Delicious food, great wait staff, and wonderful atmosphere. We started with the Fritto Misto for appetizer ($17). We ordered two entrees - Tartufata pizza ($19) and Ravioli Burro E Salvia ($21). The service was incredible - the wait staff were attentive and very friendly. I would definitely this restaurant. It is a bit pricey but the food is worth the price.
Dolicd Italian Miami - South Beach, Miami Florida This salad was so refreshing. Caesar salad with an edition of grilled shrimp with the dressing on the side. The shrimp was cooked just right 🤤🤤 They also have unlimited mimosas and Bellini‘s house or bloody Mary’s for 2 hours 😍 Follow @goodeatsbystephie for more 😋 #salad #shrimp #DolceItalian #MiamiBeach #SouthBeach #SoBe #ItalianRestaurants #GaleHotel #SouthFlorida #Foodies #miamilifeluxury #miamibeach #miamilife
Valentina is amazing the food was great and the drinks for happy hour were great
I got the Truffled Spinach and Cheese Ravioli. WOW, it was good and not too salty. The bread was fantastic as well. Easily in my top 2 Italian restaurants. I was so impressed I had to write a review.
The food and the service are really good. The Eggplant Parmigiana was one of the best we have had. Our Ravioli was delicious and perfectly cooked. I only wished they came with vegetables. If you are sitting outside there is no particular dress code. Most people sitting inside were well dressed though. 100% would recommend this place.
Oh yes!!! Medium Cool in Miami delivers an exceptional cocktail experience that’s nothing short of spectacular. The creativity and craftsmanship that go into each drink are truly impressive. I ordered a cocktail, and it was a perfect balance of flavors, visually stunning, and made with high-quality ingredients. Every sip was a delightful journey of taste, and it’s clear that the bartenders here take pride in their work. The atmosphere is effortlessly cool, with a laid-back vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. The dim lighting, stylish decor, and great music make it the perfect spot to enjoy a well-crafted cocktail. If you’re in Miami and looking for a place that takes its drinks seriously, Medium Cool is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates an expertly made cocktail in a chic setting. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Cocktail Experience)
SoulEdge: Eternal Horizon I dine there and ordered Eggs Royale and Mimi my server helped me with an Ice Latte. Good customer service & thoughtfulness. As my ex German American gf taught me “When it comes to good customer service. Don’t be a Masshole and Pay it forward.” This visit is dedicated to her, cue in the songs “All of Me” by John Legend & Avril Lavigne - “Let Me Go “ft. Chad Kroeger. 🇺🇸🇩🇪🎸✊
My friend and our 2 teenage daughters has dinner on the patio on NYE and had a wonderful time. Excellent service from Adele, great wine list, delicious pastas. Would definitely return!
We came here with my family including 2 little grandkids. The food was delicious, the staff could not have been more accommodating, and the manager (wish I had his name) was INCREDIBLE. He physically moved our table because our 5 year old was cold and went to get a blanket for him from the hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
We had a fabulous dinner here! We shared a meatball and polenta appetizer - the meatballs were flavorful, really delicious. They have home made pastas and we had the bolognese and gangarelli with pesto , shrimp and cherry tomatoes - they were both so, so good! Large portions so we both took some home. The bread was served with high quality olive oil, service was attentive but unobtrusive. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality Italian meal
Highly recommend. They have a great cocktail menu, as well as their food menu! The hearts of romaine (Caesar salad) is fabulous, as were the complementary bread and oil and our meals - spaghetti with the meatballs and the pappardelle alla bolognese. I wish we’d tried this place earlier in our trip so we could have come back!

Dolce Italian was better than I thought it would be. we went on a Friday night and we were seated right away. There were a few sections we could choose from - outdoors, tables near the bar, tables in the main dining area. We decided to sit in the main dining area because it looked the quietest. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, and they were pretty good but nothing special. When we were choosing our entrees, we asked the waiter for recommendations and he pointed out the most expensive items on the menu. He might have been telling the truth, but my friend and I had a good laugh. I ordered the lobster ravioli as my entree and was pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely delicious. There were quite a few flavors so it was an interesting dish. My friend ordered the eggplant parmesan and he enjoyed his meal as well. I'm glad we decided to try this place for dinner.
We had our first dinner in Miami at Dolce Italian restaurant and it was a fab experience. The venue is buzzing with great vibes. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Definitely worth visiting, only wish they had more vegetarian options.

Food was good, but overpriced. Service very good.
We dined on a weekday evening, service was calm and attentive - albeit slightly impersonal. Every dish was delicious and satisfying, We had the Tartufata pizza, the speck with truffle oil really stood out; Grilled octopus, wonderful with the chickpeas; Dolce meatballs - a true winner, totally satisfying; Risotto al frutti di mare, this I didn't care for much as the risotto just wasn't flavorful for me; Fettuccine alla bolognesa, the braised beef made this dish; lastly the Panna cotta, nicely plated in a bed of sliced fruit & the tiramisu, standard in presentation and taste. We enjoyed our meal.
The inside dining room was extremely surprising given how the restaurant look from the outside. It was an elegant atmosphere that would be a great spot for a date. The restaurant was not overly loud which is surprising given an evening dinner in Miami Beach music brings a lot of noise. There is zero/limited cell phone service within the restaurant which allowed for a distraction-free dining experience of days past. I enjoyed the Beef Carpaccio which was served with arugula red onions Walnut and surprisingly green apples. For my main course I had the veal Milanese which was delicious with the grilled lemon juice sprinkled on top. The one piece I thought was confusing was when we asked about the mozzarella bar they didn't seem to know what we were talking about even though it's listed in the description of the restaurant here.
We were happy to see Dolce reopened after being closed for a multi month renovation. It seemed that many of the staff have changed, as we did not recognize any of the servers who typically help us. One of the things we have always enjoyed about Dolce is the gem salad starter. To us, this was “the best salad on the beach”, and, now it is no longer on the menu. Why? The four of ordered as entrees the following; pasta bolognese, chicken parm (two of us) and the roasted lemon chicken. All entrees were their typical “very good” (although I thought my chicken parm could have had a bit more sauce, as it seemed a bit dry). Starters for the four of us were their typical caprese salad, eggplant parm and a variation of their new mixed salad, and we asked if they could try and make similar to what used to be the gem. Since we ate outside on the terrace, we could not notice any changes esthically to the restaurant, so I cannot comment what, if any changes were made on the interior portion of the restaurant. Overall, I will still highly recommend Dolce, as their food remains consistently good, for a good price.
Solid across the board. The food was good, but nothing in particular to write home about. Miami & Ft. Lauderdale have incredible eateries. So while Dolce is good, it gets lost in the shuffle of how much other amazing food is out there. The atmosphere is very chic Italian which is cool because you feel transported there. Service is good, but everyone seemed somewhat flustered and on-edge, but that also might just be the New Years energy. All in all a fine meal, but it doesn’t crack my five star list for Miami.

This place used to be our favorite Italian place in Miami beach. We were there last night and were disappointed. Service was good, but the wine list was loaded with expensive wines. We drink Italian wines 90% of the time and drink wine for every meal; we actually found some nice value wines that we still drink on the Dolce list from years past (Selvapiana 2016 comes to mind), but they really can do better than this list. A couple of options in the $40-50 range would be nice. Heck, go to Total Wine and look around. We're not all Gaja Barbaresco or Antinori Tignanelli drinkers ya know? Besides this, they no longer have pizza on the menu in the evening. What? We came for pizza, a Ceasar salad, and a bottle of Chianti. I guess they want higher margin items, but crikey ..... so disappointing. And the credit reader was down. I know, things happen, but still. The olive oil they have with the bread was absolutely first class and our waiter was good so I doubled the tip. Still, be thinking twice before going back.
Not the best, and I really had high hopes, mainly because they have a cool classic car out front that looks like it was stolen from Cruella DeVille. First, the server didn't understand much of what we said, and didn't seem to care too much, probably because they get an automatic 18% tip, regardless of the party size or the level of service. Second, we literally told him the shrimp in one of our dishes was suspect and shouldn't be eaten. Did he do anything about it? Yes. He argued with us and left it. So we get to pay for it. With an 18% tip. Go figure. The rest was good.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was incredibly slow—I had to wait a long time for my food, and when I asked for the check, it took 20 minutes to arrive. The staff didn’t seem attentive, and it felt like they weren’t well-trained for the job. On top of that, one of the servers, who happened to be bald, was particularly unprofessional and didn’t seem suited for this line of work. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for efficient service.
We came for lunch to escape the rain. Food was okay - server talked my friend into getting the ravioli which ended up being a bit lackluster. Midway through my drink I noticed there was a fly frozen inside of an ice cube. Manager took care of it for me but kind of ruined the mood. Alfredo was pretty good which made up for the bad drink.
If you’re comfortable being treated dismissively by service, then this may be the place for you. The food was good, but the service experience was uncomfortable. Albert, the bartender, was unprofessional, and came across as rude when informing me that happy hour would not be honored despite there being no notice online. the interaction felt unnecessary intimidating ,short, and set an unwelcoming tone. After I mentioned that I would be sharing my experience in a review, the situation D escalated and happy hour was ultimately honored. A complementary drink was also offered, which I appreciated in principle however, it was poorly made, and I was unable to get past one sip. I came in hoping to enjoy a relaxed evening, but instead, the overall experience, felt tensed and uncomfortable. While the kitchen did a good job, the service made a bad experience.
