Nice restaurant, tasty food, and superior service! Darien provided the best customer service I received in Miami. Food was really tasty: the moro rice and the rice pudding were crazy good. The chicken was average in terms of flavor, but really juicy. The service was always attentive, quick, and kind. As I mentioned earlier, I had the impression it was the best customer service I received in a restaurant in Miami.
Stellar service! Jorge went above and beyond in every way. He provided excellent recommendations and constantly checked up on us. It’s refreshing to see someone so passionate about taking care of their customers and of the food served at the restaurant. We got to learn more about the culture of the food which was very neat. He’s very detail oriented and made us feel very welcome. We were never rushed despite staying after closing time. I’d come here again just for his service - with great food being the bonus (ha).
We had a wonderful time at Havana Harry’s. The food was sensational, the portion sizes were huge! The service with Darien was absolutely on point, and he was so helpful and friendly. I heartily recommend Havana Harry’s! Try the guava cheesecake overload!
Jose P was Everything! He made great dinner recommendations. Our food was plentiful and delicious. The frozen strawberry lemonade was so good. The
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Havana Harry’s, and I have to say, the service provided by Osvaldo was exceptional! From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. He was attentive without being overbearing, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Osvaldo’s professionalism and genuine kindness truly elevated the experience. It’s rare to encounter such outstanding service, and he made our visit memorable. I highly recommend Havana Harry’s and will definitely be returning, thanks in large part to Osvaldo’s excellent service!
What a great restaurant where customer service is a top priority. Our waiter Jose P. had many recommendations and my mushroom chicken Milanese was amazing. Portions are large and shareable. I highly recommend you come and don’t be intimidated by the desserts treat yourself!
We just had the best meal here. Jorge was the most excellent server ever. He was very attentive and made thoughtful and helpful suggestions for drink, meal, and dessert options. The stuffed chicken with Moro rice and plantains was fantastic. The vaca frita empanadas were chef’s kiss. It was extremely difficult to pick a dessert with all the delectable options, but the coconut bread pudding with ice cream was amazing. Highly recommend!
AMAZING! We were group of 15 and this place was smooth and easy breezy handling big groups!! Lorena was fabulous and so patient with us! Food was fantastic, all of us were very happy with our meal choices and all around same sentiment as we can’t wait to come back. My red snapper and mashed potatoes were eooo good and the guava cheesecake and guava tree leches as well
On a long-awaited return to Havana Harry's Restaurant, we were once again surprised by the warm service from the staff. Despite the crowds, there was barely a wait to be seated quickly. This time, the waiter Kevin served us, and as always, the service was prompt, professional, and very accurate in his suggestions for dishes, drinks, and desserts. The menu is exquisitely varied and authentic; you'll never get bored. And the experience of spending a pleasant time with your partner, friends, or family is always guaranteed. I recommend it for any occasion.
We drove from Texas to eat here! We used to come eat here when we lived in Fort Lauderdale. We are back for business and barely got into town before we drove down. The food is unmatched. The atmosphere so lovely! The service is perfection!
thank you all, this is a great place and awesome food - Jose was amazing.. Wine selection and pairing was 5 stars - Thank you Jose
The food was tasty and very flavorful! Also huge portions and great deal for the lunch special. Our server Kevin was friendly and attentive, great service! Will definitely come back next time in town.
Very authentic. Kevin provided amazing services and let us feel at ease. He’s very patient and offered great advice. Highly recommend the lunch combo. Great value. In NYC it would easily double the price. Would definitely recommend if you want to try Cuba food in Miami.
Visited Havana Harry's at the recommendation of other U Miami parents and it exceeded expectations. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Great atmosphere. Our server, Jorge, was excellent - prompt, friendly, and took the time to make recommendations. Already looking forward to coming back.
We ate at Havana Harry's and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was vibrant, the service was fast, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server, Harry, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made our meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place 100%!
“Had a great dining experience! Our server, Rene, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. The food was just as impressive—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Highly recommend!”
Yesterday, I visited *Havana Harris* in Coral Gables for lunch and took advantage of the Miami Spice menu, which was an incredible deal. For just $30, it included a non-alcoholic drink, an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. The Pineapple Mint drink was definitely our favorite—refreshing and light. Our waiter, Rene, was amazing. Despite the restaurant being busy, he was attentive and friendly, answering all our questions and giving spot-on recommendations from the menu. Every time we got a new dish, he checked in to make sure everything was going well. As for the food—delicious! The portions were surprisingly large, even the desserts. I left more than satisfied. I highly recommend this place, and if you go, be sure to ask for Rene. He'll make sure you have a fantastic experience.
We had an amazing meal at Havana Harry’s! The beef Milanese was perfectly cooked and flavorful, served with classic white rice, creamy black beans, and sweet plantains. The spicy mango margarita was the perfect balance of sweet and heat absolutely delicious. To end the right way, the desserts were outstanding! The guava cheesecake was rich and creamy, and the flan tres leches was moist and silky. A must visit for anyone craving authentic Cuban flavors
Maria was an amazing help for our first visit to this fabulous place. She helped us make great selections. She was patient with us and very friendly. Portions were large especially for the quality and quantity. We will be back. She already gave us selections to choose.
First and foremost I want to Thank Rene our server, for being very attentive, sweet, and helpful throughout our first visit. I highly recommend that you ask to be seated with him. Her made sure our drinks were always refreshed which is a major plus for me. He had great recommendations. He deserves 100 stars. We will definitely be back and ask to be seated with him.
Great authentic place!! It was our first time here and will definitely come back when I am in town. I travel all over the world eating ans drinking and this is a must if you are in the Miami area. Kevin was GREAT! Besides the amazing food the service is amazing.!! Mojitos are very well made.
This place is amazing! It is crazy busy and they don't take reservations. The food is delicious!!! They can definitely make the decor a little more appealing but who cares. The food speaks for itself. The portions are big and you better leave room for dessert. This place is great for a date night or any size group. It's worth mentioning the excellent service. Highly recommend and definitely will be back!
The food here is excellent! This was very good Cuban food the waffles were super soft and the bacon was very crunchy which I love. Our server Yoandy was AMAZING! He was very attentive and brought out the food very fast. He was very thorough and didn’t forget any of our food. If you eat here make sure you request Yoandy for your table
Holy cow I was NOT prepared for such a delicious breakfast. The menu has lots of options and for an amazing price. We got their house special which was eggs, breakfast potatoes, Cuban toast, ham, and a cafe con leche for just $11?! Amazing. We got some croquetas too and they were the BEST I’ve ever had in my life. Bring a Spanish speaker, or don’t, because everyone was kind regardless of whatever language you spoke. Environment is simple & elegant. Parking may be difficult but damn it was worth it.
This is my 3rd time ever coming here. I really love coming here and enjoying this place. All three times were for dinner, and I have yet to try their lunch, but I'd love to. Atmosphere: Parking is limited as it does it get packed. There's free on-site parking, and there's a few pay to park spots if both small lots are filled. When you walk win you're greeted with either the bakery in the back or with the servers if you go through the front. You're met with a nice gorgeous modern style building with a dim lighting, depending on where you sit. Wait time: It was peak hour. 6:30 pm on a Friday. However, you are allowed to reserve a table ahead of time on their website, which we did. Menu: There's a ton of selections of food. The menu is available online. For dinner, they have chicken, beef, seafood, soup, kids menu, combo discount menu, liquor/drink menu, and much more. The pricing is a little bit on the expensive side, but the servings and portions are well worth the price. Juice: Every single time I go, I always get the watermelon juice. They have many options like mango, orange, and much more. The juice is so pure. It's essentially blended watermelon with nothing else, and it's soooo delicious. The jar it comes in; it's super spectacular. I will always always always recommend this. Food: Fried Yuca: If you had fried Yucatan before then, you'd understand how good it is. It's exactly tasty, just like Versailles (another Miami staple). It comes with 2 options I recommend with cilantro lime sauce. I asked for additional cause I dipped it in everything. Boiled Yuca: I love love love love Yuca. Great temperature and texture. French fries: This is way better than any fast food restaurant quality. These were crisp and super warm and tasty. These will have you only their French fries and not McDonald's or Burger King. Palomilla Steak: This thinly sliced steak came very juicy and tasty. Topped with onions and cilantro. It's cooked to your request. I will be eating this again many times over! Dessert: There's a full dessert menu. I choose Key lime pie. While I never had an official one in Key West, this was really delicious. The crust was so soft. And they even torched the topping a bit. I also would be choosing this again every single day. Guest service: While most of Miami does speak Spanish only. I was happy to have a bilingual waiter that was available for our table. He was super polite, kind, and caring and checks up on you on how the food is, if you want a to go box. He was worth tipping!!! Overall rating 4.95/5 stars. The only thing I disliked was I was next to an AC vent with no jacket or long sleeve. So I was cold while in the restaurant.
Let Harry serve you. One of the best in the building. He offered appetizers, lunch specials, and dessert/coffee afterwards. He also made recommendations as it was our first time. We had one item mishap and though my husband was willing to deal with, Harry insisted on making it right! It was our family’s first Cuban cuisine experience and it was great.
In town for work and came here straight from the airport after not eating for several hours. So glad I did! Everything was wonderful from food to service. The food came out fast and portions were generous. My server Rene was so sweet on top of being super efficient. I would definitely recommend 👍
**5 Stars** We visited Hanvanna's Harry on the recommendation of a colleague, and we were absolutely delighted. On the advice of our waiter, Harry, we ordered the 3-course menu, and it was an excellent choice. The food was overall very good, and the Mojitos were outstanding. The highlight, however, was the Chicken Vaca Frita – the best dish I've had in the USA so far. While the atmosphere might not entirely remind me of Cuba as a European, the warmth and friendliness of the staff more than make up for it. A big thank you to the entire team for a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back!
Everything is fantastic. My family and I checked this place out while waiting to catch a flight and were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was great. The setting was very nice, casual, and comfortable. And not only was the food delicious, but there was so much nobody could finish their meals. We all ordered the 3-course meal and were stuffed. I had the fried yuca and chicharrones explosion, stuffed chicken (stuffed me), and coconut flan. My kids all went for the yuca and chicharrones, vaca frita, and tres leches. My wife had the cubano, which she came nowhere near to finishing. And to top it off, we all had the fresh juices, which were the best.
Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the service was personable and very helpful. The mimosas were well made and the food portions were more than generous (bring your appetite). My fiancé ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was the biggest we’d ever seen 😂 I had a chicken and rice dish that reminded me of asopao and had enough left over to bring home for a hearty dinner as well. Great prices for the location, quality, and service- we will certainly be coming back for a visit!
I have been here many, many times and I always have a great time! Spectacular food (especially the diabetic coma inducing desserts), extremely accommodating staff and clean facilities! The only issue here is the parking. I would recommend having lunch here on a weekday to avoid the crowds 😊👍
My favorite Cuban spot in Miami! Always consistent, their portions are huuuge. Drinks are always on point. But service? Hit or miss. We went yesterday and sat near the bar. Our server was more entertained serving people at the bar than the tables. My husband had to yell out for attention so she can charge our card and took forever. But other times we have been and service has been awesome. Still will come back. The food and pastries are amazing!! Those chicharrones were just perfect!! And the tamal had a lot of meat. The croquetas were soooo good and full of ham bits! Loved it!
Randomly found this Cuban restaurant and turned out to be the best one I have ever had. Great food, cozy atmosphere, awesome service. We ordered the lunch special and every dish was perfect. Our server Rene is especially helpful in walking us through all the dishes on the menu. He also went above and beyond to serve all our needs. Highly recommend and will come again.
🌟 **Amazing Breakfast at Havana Harry's!** 🌟 Had an unforgettable morning with friends at Havana Harry's! The churrasco steak and eggs with home fries were absolutely delicious, especially paired with their flavorful chimichurri and picante sauces. The Acqua Panna water and Cuban coffee colada were the perfect complements to the meal. Shoutout to our waiter, Carlos, who was incredibly attentive and helpful, suggesting popular dishes that we loved. The chef even came by to check on us, and Melissa, the assistant GM, made sure our experience was top-notch. A 10/10 experience—great food, amazing service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back! 🥩☕️
Stopped by Havana Harry’s for lunch, and it was spot on. Alexis, our waitress, was amazing—super friendly and kept everything running smoothly. I ordered the vaca frita, and it was perfect: crispy, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. We wrapped up with a chocolate bomb and cubano coffee, and let me tell you, that combo hit the sweet spot. The ambiance was just okay, but for a lunch like that, who cares? Definitely a place I’d return to for a solid midday meal.
Our server Jose Padilla was the best!!! The restaurant was very busy but we were able to get a table within 15 minutes. The food was delicious and the tiramisu that Jose recommended was out of this world!! Not like any other I've tasted! In all, we had a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back again!❤️
We had an excellent dining experience tonight! The meals were wonderful, the desserts were huge and such a treat, and our server was simply amazing!! Our server, Dariem, made us feel welcome from the moment he greeted our table. Dariem helped us with menu suggestions and took his time explaining what different items were on the menu. Excellent service!! We will be back!
This place is great. It’s very clean and the food comes out good all the time. I like their frozen drinks. They have a $30 special which includes drinks and 2 meal courses and a dessert. The portion size a big. So good luck finishing it . They also have free parking which is a plus.
We had an outstanding experience. Rene, our waiter, was exceptionally attentive and professional. From the moment we mentioned our tight schedule due to an upcoming flight, he expertly timed each course, allowing us to savor every bite without feeling rushed. His courtesy and attention to detail truly elevated our visit. Btw we only had the chance to take a picture of the dessert because we devoured our food lol
Delicious food, the waitress we had ( forgot her name) was very knowledgeable of the menu, made a few recommendations , in total we spend just a little over an hr. Since had to be somewhere else, but I will definitely coming back soon, evaluar of lack of time we couldn’t stay longer to order deserts , witch they looked pretty delicious on the table next to us
Found this amazing spot this morning and it was absolutely stunning!! We ordered the Sunny Side A LA Benedict and a few coffees that was delicious. Our server Carlos was wonderful for recommending this dish and he’s service was perfect. The music was great and the manager Melissa made time to talk to us. Havana Harry’s is a must stop at place while you are visiting South Miami. Enjoy!
This place had wonderful service, a menu to satisfy everyone, and authentic delicious Cuban food. Will definitely be coming back for more! My brother got the Cuban sandwich, the bread was flaky and light instead of pressed. I got the snapper with garlic sauce, and a side of Marquites (plantains and dipping sauce) both fresh and so yummy.
Dinner was amazing on our anniversary night. We were served by Iran who was very knowledgeable about the menu choices. We enjoyed the suggestions and more. We will definitely be returning with the family. Thank you Havana Harry's for an amazing dining experience. Everything is big here so bring your appetite. Enjoy!
Came to this classic Miami staple for Sunday lunch. I felt like I was eating a home-cooked meal. The music and the service made the atmosphere a really good time. Our waiter, Carlos, was very attentive, provided us with good recommendations, and made sure we were well taken care of. This iconic Miami spot is a must-go!
I don’t know where to start. Our server, Darien, went above and beyond for my mom’s birthday dinner. He made sure we didn’t have any allergies and gave us great suggestions for plates that we should order. Throughout our whole meal he would check up on us in case we needed something. He’s amazing! The food was yummy as well. But the service was spectacular because of our server! Super friendly man!
We met some friends here for dinner and it was nice. The atmosphere was like a business casual. We had everything at our table from a salad to empanadas to steak. The food was good, the service was great although I do not remember the name of our server (but there were no issues).
First time visiting Havana Harry’s and I must say very pleased and will be going back!! Food was amazing!!!! Rene our server was excellent!!! Wonderful pleasant attitude made us feel like we have been going there for a lifetime ! Hoping when we go back we get Rene has our server again.
We had an excellent breakfast at Havana Harry’s, and Osvaldo truly made the experience stand out. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. His service was professional and welcoming, and he added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. Thank you, Osvaldo, for starting our day off on such a positive note!
Just as you, I tend to find myself looking through reviews to ensure I choose a good place to spend my money on a great meal and an enjoyable place. I tend to look at the negative reviews first, then follow up with the positive ones to find out if there is a balance. There were a bunch of folks commenting on how the positive posts were so many at the same time frame, eluding to shady practice, continue reading, and i will elaborate below. We had a great Sunday dinner here with out of town family who wanted some good cuban food. I will tell you that this place is a gem!! From the mixed drinks to the food and desserts, you can't go wrong with Havana Harry's. We had Arroz con Mariscos, Arroz con Pollo a la Chorrera, Stuffed Chicken (one of the house specials), and I can assure you that each dish was just as good if not better than the next. Further everyone is looking at the order on the table next to theirs to see what dish they will try next time. I will admit the service is a bit slow, but not too bad. I promise you it's worth it when you get quality food and are enjoying good conversation with those you are sharing with. The service and attention were spectacular. Our server, Jorge, was awesome with great recommendations and very attentive considering they had a full house. He made our simple dinner feel as if we were celebrating a special event. Back to the reviews. This restraunt wants honest feedback, and after dinner, they provide you a QR so you can honestly review their service. This is not limited to the person paying, but given to everyone at the table to capture everyone's experience. This is why you see so many reviews that are minutes apart on here. This shows that management is truly looking to continue to grow and to ensure that nothing is missed. The family and I eat out all the time, I don't know how I had never been here before today. I can assure you that this is now at the top of my list of favorites. Thank you Jorge and Havana Harry's for giving us a welcome feeling with great food and excelent service and awesome atmosphere. I hope this helps you decide to visit. This is our new go to restraunt and I hope to make it yours as well. Cheers!!!
Havana Harry’s in Coral Gables delivers an outstanding dining experience. The Cuban-inspired dishes are flavorful and generously portioned, with the Vaca Frita and signature desserts standing out. The lively atmosphere and attentive service make it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Miami, this is a must-visit for authentic and delicious cuisine. Highly recommend! 5 stars!
This is one of my favorite spots for Cuban food. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The menu is robust, offering plenty of variety for everyone. The vaca frita is outstanding—possibly the best around—and the Cuban sandwich is excellent as well. Be sure to save room for dessert—the 5 leches and flan are both incredible!
First time to this gem in Coral Gables. Food was delicious, a great value, and well presented. The standout, however, was the service. Rene was our waiter and to say he was fantastic would be an understatement. He was attentive, informative, and wonderfully personable. He’s a credit to the restaurant.
Even my Uber driver said I made a great choice! Service, even at the bar, was stellar - very welcoming yet unobtrusive. Best rice and black beans I've ever had! Best empanadas too! For a place with a reputation this good, the price was more than reasonable. I had two mojito's, a cuban with rice and black beans, a side of plantains and an espresso for about $50, including a generous tip. Portions are huge. I'm a big guy and I ended up bringing half of my meal back to the hotel. Just had it for breakfast!
The staff were very attentive. Was able to get a seat only after a 5 minute wait. The empanadas were very good. Ended up having the grilled snapper in garlic sauce with shrimp. The snapper and shrimp were cooked well, however the garlic sauce was too salty. I should have ordered it on the side. The atmosphere was amazing, lots of people enjoying them selves. @food_from_the_usa
Darien provided amazing service! The menu is very large with options for everyone. The desserts look amazing, but we did not have room. Portions are very generous as well. Everyone there was very genuinely pleasant. The food was good, we enjoyed it, but I was expecting a little more spice and flavor. Honestly, it may just be my taste as it was busy and everyone seemed very pleased with their dishes.
We heard great reviews about this spot so we decided to give it a try while in town. We had beef emapnadas, tres vacas fritas, tres leches de coco, and Harry's combination pollo. We enjoyed the food overall, the menu was full of options and they served huge portions (we even had to bring some home). Im not really a big fan of shredded meats however, it was decent. I must say money well spent here unlike some other over priced restaurants Miami. Our server Lorena was helpful and friendly, thank you!
Stopped in early in the morning to grab a quick coffee and couple pastries to start the day. Service was good, place was very clean and interesting. The Cuban coffee was exactly what we expected strong and deep flavored, reminiscent of an Italian expresso. We went with two savory pastries, one ham and cheese and one beef. Both were mild and delicious. We also had a guava pastry and it was great. My favorite by far. Nice place for a meal.
The food is not bad, but nothing special!! I ordered salmon which was well cooked, the tostones con picadillo was delicious, and the chicken quesadillas were poor served The restaurant is big, with many tables together, very noisy, and the music in the background is not the most adequate for a restaurant atmosphere, My first impression when I got in it wasn't good because it smelled like an old house with humidity, and I was sitting in the same entryway for restrooms!! This visit didn't meet my expectations 😕 The waiter wasn't focused is us maybe because he had many tables to serve
This restaurant have an extensive menu with many plates and options to choose from. Go early because parking is limited and it may take you some time to find where to park. They were very full when we visited, but they were able to accommodate us in a corner table. The drinks were refreshing, and food was tasty with big portions, but our white rice came uncooked and hard to eat. The server suggested we get Moro rice instead, but we passed on that. Now, for some strange reason, when we got out of the restaurant, we were all smelling like grease and food. I see now they are closed temporary. Hopefully for renovations such as parking, seating, and kitchen exhaust fans.
When we first ate at Havana Harry's we really enjoyed it. I realize that ordering out might be different. I won't assume as to why though we've ordered out 2 times recently and it feels like the integrity is going out the window. WHy are so many restaurants inconsistent ?? I had the creole shrimp last night--boring, little to no flavor. My gf had the tostones locos--she liked the shrimp but everything else was blahhh and the avocados were not fresh--she was burping all night ( slight upset stomach) . Beans and rice, fine. Maduros, very oily . The fish chicharrones were good but not really seasoned.
First time here, after living in SFLA for 30+ years🤣. Our waiter Yony was on top of everything…. We had the appetizer mariquitas with cheese chorizo sauce…the mariquitas were fresh but honestly, the sauce had no flavor. For entree we had the masas de puerco with moros with tostones-great pork flavor and tostones were huge and delicious, not a fan of the moros, very dry. My husband’s lechón asado was plenty in portion, served as slices so wishing it had more dark meat because it was dry. We finished off with key lime pie for desert, honestly delicious and huge, you can feed 3-4 people off one slice! The cortadito is served unsweetened. All in all pleasant dining room, family atmosphere. 2.5 out 5 for me. I still like Molinas in Hialeah better.
And now they got shot down for roaches Food: I came in hyped after hearing the portions were massive. I should’ve stuck with the classic Cuban staples—lesson learned. We started with three croquetas that were actually pretty good, no complaints there. My wife ordered the chicken with spinach, cheese, and some kind of magical sauce. It was delicious, and yes, I was jealous. Then there was my dish: the fish ceviche with leche de tigre (which, spoiler alert, was more like water from a bored tiger). Visually, it was already a disappointment. The fish portion could fit in the palm of my hand—if my hand had trust issues—and the rest of the bowl was mostly lettuce. The taste? Bland. Like, "did someone forget to season this or was that intentional?" bland. Charging $17 for it feels borderline performance art. In short: don't get fancy at a Cuban restaurant. Stick with what they’re known for, or prepare for sad salad cosplay. Service: The service was solid. The waiter tried to warn me about the portion size—I just didn’t understand the subtext. That’s on me. Atmosphere: Casual, clean, nothing over-the-top. A nice vibe if you're not trying to impress anyone, which luckily, I wasn’t.
