I love coming to the pool and eating at sipsip for their wings in particular. My server Evelyn has been amazing! Very attentive and great personalty. Making me a new regular here for sure. I’ll be back.

I’m staying at the hotel for the weekend and Evelyn in particular has made my stay 10/10! I have a small service dog and she has offered to bring her water bowl each day. Very attentive and fast service! Food is good & nice ambiance. Highly recommend.

Recommend rum based drinks

We staycation here often because it offers more than any luxury hotel we have encountered. Not only are the redone rooms great, but the pool and bar up top are just perfect. It's a great spot to relax and eat, and prices are comparable to anywhere else too without a massive hotel markup. The pool and views are incredible, it's always peaceful with good (but not too loud!) music, and the food, drink, and service are top-notch. Every employee we have met is fantastic but Yago especially always makes us feel right at home and mixes us fantastic drinks that always match our mood (and believe me, we test him often!). This place flies under the radar in a city known for fancy bars and over-the-top luxury but it really shouldn't. It's an A+ all around and we're lucky to have it in our neighborhood.

I went to Sip Sip Rum Bar today, and Jan the bartender was amazing, i asked him for a pineapple rum drink and he made me the best pineapple daiquiri i have ever had, if you ever come here order with him my man really knows what hes doing!!!

Jan Carlos was such a great bartender !! I enjoyed the vibes and the great drinks! He is very talented on what he does. Definitely will be coming back frequently! I loved the Saturn drink and the Mai-Tai! 1000/10 experience :)

Mariana is amazing! She is so gentle yet refreshing. You don’t find that often. Working hospitality I understand the frustrations that could come behind serving guests. Went for Friday night Happy Hour. Beautiful location and views. The place was busy so it took a little to have our order taken but the staff was friendly. And the music was amazing. Great DJ! We will definitely be back.

Amazing view, delicious drinks, great food! Live music is lovely as well :) Their service is suffering a bit from understaffing, but hopefully that will be solved with time! They are still relatively new so it's understandable.

Bar en la azotea junto a la piscina. Escribo esta reseña en base a nuestra visita durante el mes de noviembre. El clima era fresco, 70 grados, con una agradable brisa. Este bar junto a la piscina ofrece un área sombreada con taburetes, así como servicio junto a la piscina. La carta de cócteles es pequeña, pero por una razón. Los ingredientes fueron seleccionados cuidadosamente y se nota que se puso esfuerzo y pensamiento en la elaboración de la selección de bebidas. Probé 3 de los cócteles artesanales del menú. Cada bebida se destacó y tenía su propio perfil de sabor único. Son ligeros, pero fuertes al mismo tiempo. Estas son excelentes bebidas si buscas pasar un rato junto a la piscina o compartir algunas risas con amigos mientras disfrutas de las impresionantes vistas del cocotero, el océano y el horizonte épico de Miami. Pedimos 2 aperitivos, buñuelos de caracola y hummus. La caracola estaba crujiente y perfectamente cocida por dentro, la salsa aoli ​​la complementaba perfectamente. Venía con 6 buñuelos y cayeron muy bien. No grasoso ni poco lleno. El hummus estaba delicioso y el pan de pita horneado lo complementaba bien. Sip Sip es un oasis en el desierto. Volveré.

It was great! Down key and a gem of location for an easy and relaxed drink! Maybe more music vibe ? But for me great!!!

I want to preface by saying I’m a manager in the industry so I was disappointed by this place. All the bartenders were talking and joking amongst themselves the entire time and we didn’t get greeted at the bar for 10 minutes. We kept trying to call them and get their attention and they don’t even look at the patrons seated at the bar. We ordered a fish dip that took over half an hour to come out. For a small intimate place like this that wasn’t even full it shouldn’t be this way. The fish dip was very good. Drinks were not what we asked for. They have some work to do before this becomes a happening place.

The views and atmosphere alone are amazing however, ever since this place has started getting popular their service and prices have gotten out of hand! I used to come for happy hour a lot because it was great! However, last happy hour cost me $27 for a spicy margarita….Absolutely ridiculous! They also don’t give you an itemized receipt so beware! The whole point of happy hour is a discount….will never be back for happy hour. Go spend your money at every other place in the grove!!

Not easy place to find. Staff very unfriendly, unapproachable, and I'll informed on sponsored activities. The same for hotel staff. Parking was difficult and crowded. The restaurant staff was very nice, friendly staff helpful. And English speaking!!!

$20 chicken wings that couldn’t feed an infant. I didn’t know they made chickens this small, these have to be lab grown

$20 per mixed drink. So $100+ just to get 5 drinks. Be reasonable…

Total scam, the waiters will sneak in extra drinks to increase the cost and steal money from you.

Our waitress added drinks to our check that we did not consume and refused to remove them from our check and was very rude when we confronted her about them.

It was really impressive how slow the service was. The woman with the black curly hair was almost trying to be as slow of a bar tender as possible. It was a busy night, but I’ve seen other bar tenders handle higher volume with more speed and poise hundreds of other times. We waited almost an hour to be served so we bought a bunch of drinks for our friends. She didn’t give us all of the drinks we asked for and we tried to ask and she was already serving another customer and wouldn’t look in our direction. After getting our drinks it took her an additional 15 minutes to run the credit card. Please save your money and don’t go to SipSip

Went to SipSip for a couple drinks before dinner during their happy hour. We ordered a couple including a Mai Tai, described on the menu as Appleton Estate VX (Appleton doesn't have a five year, and a five year would just be V, must be a typo for the 15 year), Wrey & Nephew over proof, orgeat, lime, rock syrup, Curacao. That sounds like the perfect Mai Tai. Unfortunately, I got Goslings, Bacardi, COCONUT, lime, and triple sec, not a Mai Tai. That's a bait and switch (I think I just named the drink he made). When I asked about the orgeat, one bartender told me he would never put that in a Mai Tai and instead use coconut rum, it's Florida. They had five or six bartenders and one finally knew how to make it correctly although they didn't stock the rums listed on the menu. When the bill came, they charged full price for the drinks, not the happy hour price. On the way out of the hotel I complained to the hotel manager, he got the food manager who is completely inexperienced and let me leave without even a sorry. Owning a restaurant myself I know not to let a customer leave upset, give them a reason to come back with maybe a free round of drinks or some kind of discount in the future, it's a lot cheaper than losing all the business from the bad word of mouth. I told everyone I talked to about the bad drinks and a couple will see it here. EDIT: Thank you for the clarification on the rum. I wasn't aware Appleton made a blended rum. They don't have it on their website, only the nice rums they make. I'm not sure how I forgot to mention that a "rum bar" should have a bigger selection of rum, 6 or 7 is a joke.
